Untappd - Discover Beer for Positive User Reviews

Easy to useHave been using untapped for a couple of years, works well and easy to use, especially after a few beers..Version: 3.2.4

FantasticThis is a fantastic app to track those favourite beers or share them amongst friends. If you’re uncertain of a beer while in the store, just scan the barcode and see what others are saying about it. Cheers!!!.Version: 4.1.3

The gamification of beerIf you’re someone who likes to do all the side quests and get all the achievements in a game - this app is for you. Be warned though, as you will soon find yourself looking at the the shelves in your local supermarkets and thinking “I think I have checked all of these into Untapped!!”, thus, you must expand your horizons for acquiring beer, which Untapped is of course all too happy to assist you with..Version: 3.2.2

Almost perfectGreat app for the craft beer lover. The only shortcoming is why you’d limit the distance for the purchased location. I often travel to breweries to sample, purchase a few to go, then enjoy them at home, thus when reviewing them, cannot put in the purchase location. Otherwise, very useful and functional. Would be a 5 star review with that fixed..Version: 4.2.2

Fantastic -could be faster thoughGreat for craft beer lovers who not only want to keep track of what they've drink, but to know what's available on their locality.Version: 3.2.5

Great beer appAnd getting better all the time with the various updates..Version: 3.2.5

What a fun app! What’s better than sampling beer from around your hometown or even around the country? Adding in a gaming factor! That’s right folks untapped is my new favorite drinking game. I get to log my likes and dislikes and collect badges and rewards along the way. I love trying new craft beers and I make a point to do so in any location that I visit. With this app I can go back in time, that’s right I’m a time traveler, and see what I’ve tried before and avoid the flops and reorder my faves. Maybe I’m just a dork or more likely a narcissist, but I love it when I check-in at a venue and my name pops up on the screen behind the bar. It feels like I’m a part of the action and contributing to the vibe. What more can you ask for from a free app that supports your drinking habit with no judgement!.Version: 3.4.9

Tinder for BeerJust don’t downvote things you don’t like..Version: 4.0.7

Love craft beer? Gotta get Untapped!!Untapped is the perfect beer log. I love checking into the beers that I drink. It’s really helpful when I visit a different area to see what breweries are nearby or what venues that serve craft beer. I enjoy seeing what my friends on untapped are drinking to see what’s available. I check in all the time to keep track of how many times I drink. I also love the numerous amount of badges you can get. The badges can be from different styles of beers, to venues, to even the time of day or even a special holiday or event badge. So always make sure to check in. I’m hitting myself over the head over the fact that I was in Germany for a long period of time and never checked in enough to earn the “Das Boot” badge. I just kept forgetting to check in while there. It just gives me another reason to go back! For any craft beer lover this is a complete must have!.Version: 3.3.8

8 YearsThe app is a nice way to remember how well I liked particular beers from the past or to find new beers and breweries. I’ve referred to it as my extended memory. After nearly eight years of using the app, I’ve seen the good, the bad and the u..., oh wait! There is no ugly. It’s mostly good and I have recommended it to many friends over the years. The only part I’m not a fan of is the revisions. Revisions used to come with great updates and improved features, even intuitive at times. They eventually changed to revisions that removed the great working features and added things that didn’t seem to make any difference, which is unfortunate. If the revisions would keep the great and improved the good, the app would be in a class of its own..Version: 3.4.8

Four years into using itI love trying new beers. This helps me keep track of it. Four years, several dozen breweries, and a dozen beerfests later....it takes some practice to figure out how to access it online but worth learning. App works smooth. My only suggestions for improvement are a “top 10” list button (I get asked for that a lot.) And if a badge correlates to a blog post, I wish there was a link on the badge to that post. But those are minor improvements. I’m still confused over the “serving style” option and if that correlates with packaging style but oh well. Love that my home brew can be in here too. Love that I can show up in a new city and find a local brewery really easily. Love that I get updates when some of my local breweries have new beers (and wish more participated.).Version: 3.2.2

Great appSo this app is great for logging your beers, if you have forgotten if you have had one or whatever just check the app. You can also see what others thought. Some great additions would be improved indexing and some ai to suggest others you might like. However smashing app use it all the time.Version: 4.0.32

Not bad but fiddly in places.Pretty good app to make you think about the beer your drinking. I’ve been using it with some friends for a year or two now. Some options are fiddly to use like editing a post. I love the dark mode that’s now integrated but an iPad compatible version would be great..Version: 4.0.0

Very minor gripe from a leftieThe barcode scan icon is waaaaaaaay over the far side of holding a phone in the left hand. Apart from that, Untappd is great..Version: 4.0.13

SeanGreat app for lovers of all things beer. Awesome at tracking down latest releases!.Version: 4.3.3

Stopped workingAfter 3 years or more has now stopped working won’t let me sign in or anything resetting is not an option as I have to much info on the app really disappointed that I can no longer use it to update my beverages 😢.Version: 4.0.25

Pokemon Go for adultsHad the app for a while now and honestly love it. I do a lot of travelling with work and seeing all the venues and beers on the app is an amazing way to experience local culture that I otherwise wouldn’t. The badges give you a look into the variation of beers there is out there to try. As subject says I see it as pokemon collect them all type adventure..Version: 3.5.4

Making me smile since ages ago.Great app. Never skips a beat, let’s me track my beersies and keep track of what mate’s are drinking and enjoying..Version: 3.4.92

The thing since Man put yeast in a malt beverageI rely on Untappd for all of my beer blogging; I tried lots of techniques to store my beer photos and tasting notes before this... I just wish I had adopted it sooner!.Version: 3.4.6

Can’t stump it!This is a great app, for enthusiasts, or people like me who just can’t remember all the great beers that they’ve tried in which one was which. I have been literally all over the world, sampling new beers from everywhere, and have not found a beer that is not part of the database in this app. I also like that it will let you annotate where it was that you drink the beer, that way you can go back to your favorite restaurant or pub. There’s also a neat way to reach out and connect with friends so you can see where they’re going and what they’re drinking and what their ratings were. The one thing I think could be improved, it’s just the overall usability of it.I don’t find the app very intuitive. In my mind, it is just difficult to navigate..Version: 3.2.2

Awesome, useful and easy to navigateBeen using this for a few months now to keep track of al the new beers I drink. Search function is superb being able to type in partial bits of a beer/brewery name and it finding what you meant is brilliant. However it is annoying they want you to pay for 0.1 increments in rating! Being able to look at top rated beers in a particular style is good as you can avoid buying some of more the average beers. Will continue to use for along time and would definitely recommend!.Version: 3.5.3

The best! The best beer rating app available bar none! So many beers so little time. I marvel at those people over a thousand and will be there soon myself, almost one new beer a day! Alco much???.Version: 3.3.3

Great beer app!I love it how the app gives you all the info on the beer and lets you rate the beer yourself whilst also checking out other reviews. You can rate local venues and keep up with your friends reviews. A great all round beer app..Version: 3.5.3

So goodExceptional. Use it most days. No crashes, staff (Kyle) is super responsive to big reports. Can’t imagine life without it really. So useful for tracking beers I’ve had and where. Even made new friends from strangers from this thing, who would’ve thought. Only regret is I didn’t make it!.Version: 3.5.4

AwesomeIt’s Been the best way for me to keep track of my beers and I can go back to the ones I like..Version: 3.2.5

Great funIt’s even better when your friends join in - mine are rather useless.Version: 3.2.3

Great app for the love of all things with beerVery detailed information and fun to review. After 3500 plus check ins on new beers absolutely critical as a reference.Version: 4.1.5

My go to for beer stuffGreat for checking in my fave brews. Easy to use and connects seamlessly to Facebook. Good work team!.Version: 3.3.3

Great beer tracker/finderGreat for tracking beer and finding specific beers. I suppose my only suggestions for improvements would be to increase the number of establishments engaged with the app, as well as increasing the level of engagement. For example, having localised “festivals” where certain pubs offer discounts to Untappd users. This would also presumably increase number of Untappd accounts so seems mutually beneficial. The beauty is that the scope for improvements is great..Version: 3.5.4

Great app to track my beer journey with friendsLove this app, tracks my travel and destination using beer as a common thread with my friends.Version: 4.1.8

Balanced App for Balanced BrewsI’ve been using the app for a few years now after my co-worker introduced me. The app itself is a really fluid platform with an user-friendly UI that relays information effectively. It’s a nice balance between a review driven site and an explorative experience. My favorite features include seeing what my local beer store gets in stock, discovering hop profiles for brews I'm interested in, and the photography. Documenting the places and experiences I’ve had while trying new beer with my friends has been the captivating feature that keeps me checking in. The app delivers a practical function in a fun and meaningful way. Cheers! -RC.Version: 4.1.4

Community regulationIt’d be nice to see active admins regulating the community. I think it will help to decrease fake venues (annoying, your house is not a venue) as well as to correct false brewery information. Example, I tried to log a beer from a brewery that is no longer in business. Correcting this information is against community guidelines, and the amount of incorrect ratings leads many to just follow suit with the previous tags. I think it would be nice to see little checks (sort of like verified Twitter) that validate a brewery’s information as admin certified for accuracy and completeness. I think accurate information is vital to success of not only nano/micro breweries but the community as a whole. I am an Untappd supporter and live and breathe beer; I hope my feedback helps. I would love to help, please contact me if you would like pro Bono support haha..Version: 3.5.4

Record and share your beersperience! There are so many craft beers and so many breweries around- how can you ever remember what you’ve had, liked, disliked? How do you recommend and get recommendations? Meet others with similar tastes and take their recommendations. Untappd does it all.Version: 4.0.35

Need regional badgesSo Untappd is great generally but what would take it to the next level is if you could track how many beers one drink from a certain region. I appreciate this couldn't be rolled out everywhere but within major beer drinking countries such as the U.K, U.S and Germany there are hundreds if not thousands of breweries from different areas within these countries. In the U.K for example there is enough of a beer scene in London alone to have a ‘London’s calling’ badge. A Boudicca badge for East Anglia and Essex, a Yorkshire/Lancashire war of the Roses badge. Etc in the U.S you could have a Great Lakes badge, California badge, Pacific’s North West maybe that could run from Oregon to B.C in Canada. A New Yorker etc..Version: 4.0.34

Pretty decent appGreat way to keep track of beers and general quality of breweries. Only negative is that the rating system will only let people rate 1-5 and whole numbers only unless you pay to upgrade. Given that the large majority of people aren’t paying to upgrade, the ratings become very heavily skewed, and inaccurate in many cases..Version: 4.1.7

OuiOui.Version: 4.2.0

Needs an update, but I love the app.Without going extremely into detail, this app is amazing and I absolutely love that a database like this exists to help me on my journey to trying new and delicious beers. I also very much love the social media aspect to it and my ability to cheers my friends and see what they are having these days. It’s a very useful app I find myself using quite often. HOWEVER, it really needs an update. I have had this app for probably 3 years now, and it hasn’t changed. The reason I think it could use an update is because the app itself feels slightly outdated. It is glitchy sometimes when uploading photos or navigating through. One thing hat especially annoys me is how to difficult it is to find where you add friends or even view your existing ones. To truly take this app to the next level, it’s developers should redesign the app to flow more smoothly and have less bugs and freezes..Version: 3.3.0

Drink with a purposeShare your experience with others and read others experiences of the world’s greatest drink..Version: 4.0.15

My favourite appI never write app reviews but i’m making an exception for this brilliant app which i have been using for about five years, i wouldn’t even think of changing beer apps. I really like how they have integrated social media, search works properly, listings are comprehensive and it’s easy to add beers, there’s really nothing wrong with it. I have paid apps with more bugs in them 😂. Literally the only thing i can think of is if i could search for a shop or venue and be able to see beers i have had there, that would be good..Version: 3.2.2

A great appIf only other apps put as much effort into making things functional and user friendly.Version: 4.1.2

Great app!Great way to keep connected with beer buddies from around the globe and to discover what’s trending. My only negative would be, you can’t converse or read comments with non English speakers in the comments section! C’mon Untappd! Help us to connect better! Please ….Version: 4.1.17

Improves my beer drinking experienceI’ve been on Untappd for over 7 years and I haven’t tired of it. Makes beer drinking even more fun. Also helps with beer travel. I have made friends through Untappd. Like how the app is constantly improved and given new features..Version: 4.0.12

Fantastic app, but why discriminate as to which countries deserve a badge?Great app, very detailed, handy for tasting notes. The only question is as to why some countries warrant a badge and others don’t. Having to petition to change this is crazy, as the petitions are mainly a list of people asking for different countries. It would be a simple change and encourage people to try more obscure stuff. I’ve drunk 12 beers from the Faroe Islands, but they don’t count towards anything whereas 5 Danish do. Please try to rectify this..Version: 3.2.9

I can’t drink without this nowMy quest to “try all the beers” will never be over, and this app will be with me for the entire lifetime journey. Each update provides more and more useful and asked for features. Been using this about 5 years now and it’s the essential beer collectors app to remind you of every single experience you had with every new beer you discover. Also extremely useful for reminding yourself what you got up to over a night out, or at a certain date when you look back! The only thing I’d change is make all the content on the website also on the app (just a few things missing like the top regulars at venues for example) but other than that, drink and be merry! Who’s round is it?.Version: 3.2.2

Can’t change check in dateVery good app but some times, for various reasons, (no reception etc) can’t check in a beer at the time of having it. Can check in the following day but then it’d be good to be able to change the check in date.Version: 3.2.2

CoolLove this app!! Too drunk to write any more!!.Version: 4.1.7

ReviewAwesome to keep track! Revisit venues and compare….Version: 4.0.34

Generally GreatEverything about this app is fantastic except for one thing (This is my second EVER review of an app in 20 odd years so it IS an annoyance for me) which is the fact that if one finds themselves in an area with no wi-fi, yes it can still happen, I find myself taking a picture of a beer pump/label/whatever to add when I get home. There should be an “Offline” section where one can input data with the ability to add and confirm when logged on at a later time or date..Version: 4.1.8

My favorite appI enjoyed using Untappd so much that I became a sponsor 2 years ago. It’s invaluable when standing in a beer aisle trying to find a new beer to buy. The ratings are a bit arbitrary based on individual’s tastes and rules and how they grade but I found anything with a 4 or higher is pretty accurate. I’ve also use the archive of my beers to find one I had moons ago. A serious beer drinker is lost without this app. It’s fun and a way to stay in touch with beer drinking friends who live far away. It’s a social, money saving app. The badges are fun too. It works internationally and I’ve used it in Europe for years as well. Become a patron and support the app!.Version: 4.0.19

A must have for serious beer drinkersI have used this for years and put every beer in it. Also handy for finding beers and what beers your favourite venues have on tap.Version: 3.5.4

Great app and easy to useThis app makes it so easy to review, lookup and share information about the highs and sometimes lows of being a craft beer lover.Version: 3.5.4

Keeps getting betterI use it everyday. Great app that continues to evolve and improve for craft beer lovers..Version: 4.1.5

The only app a beer fan needsI would be lost without this app - logging, rating, it’s how I keep track of my favourite beers.Version: 3.5.4

Further features requiredIt’s good, a little childish with the badges being rewarded for drinking (hardly sensible given the nature of the substance being consumed). Devs need to look at including amount consumed per checked in drink to give feedback on units consumed per day/week/month. A lot of users would get a shock & maybe could help them in enjoying beer whilst still being healthy..Version: 3.3.0

SuperFonctionne partout dans le monde..Version: 4.1.15

Great app for beer aficionados aka: snobsFull featured and easy-to-use. Highly recommend if you like beer and know/want to know other people who like beer 🍺.Version: 3.5.3

Great for tracking beer… and so much more!At its core, Untappd is great for keeping track of what beer you drink. But it has so many additional features - too many to list here. I love being able to check global ratings before buying beer. I love the social aspect of seeing what my friends are imbibing. I’m also able to keep a personal inventory of what’s in my own stash, using the list function. Then there’s all the amazing analytics that the nerd in me loves. I’ve also used it for the mapping feature before going on a trip and wanting to find new places on my route. Honestly, there’s even more I use Untappd for… but let’s just summarize by saying it’s just a phenomenal app..Version: 3.5.4

Excellent way to keep trackKeep track of which beers you’ve had and how you rated them. Find where you can buy particular beers near you and learn about new beers that are highly rated by others. In short, a fantastic app for beer lovers. Please note; if you have an addictive personality, beer and beer apps are not for you.Version: 3.4.0

So… how much am I spending on beer?I can’t believe anyone who give this app an actual stern or negative review. It’s a fantastic way for individuals that are a few steps away from an intervention to make friends with beer as a commonality, and it also roughly calculates the number of either “unique” or overall check-in’s, or IOW, how much $$$ you’re stealing from your kid’s trust fund for every check-in. ;) Location services, bottom line review of beers and venue glimpse are awesome and the badges earned are what make me keep playing the game. Love the app and I pay the additional $5 per month for additional savings on “untapped perks” and more granular rating levels as well. 5 star review all day..Version: 4.0.25

Great app. Lots of fun!Great way to keep track of all the beers you have tried! Keeps places you have been. 2 thumbs up!! And fun to follow buddies and their ‘beer excursions!.Version: 4.1.9

This Girl Scout likes earning badgesIf you like to try different beers but can’t always remember what you’ve had or if you like it (think beer festivals), then this is the app for you! If you are Type A and need to complete goals, this is also the app for you. The app is easy to use, and it’s easy to add a beer if it isn’t listed, such as a new brew coming from a micro-brewery or local Tap house. They use badges as a way to show you’ve tried something once, leveled up for doing something consistently, or had a beer on specific holidays. It also rewards you for drinking the standard American beers (and a Bud Platinum). They give badges for drinking local beers, buying from local vendors versus just going to the grocery store, and also staying at home. Just plain fun!.Version: 3.5.4

Good clean fun! This app isn’t just a beer app, it’s a community, it’s friendship, it’s a way to find new beers other people have tried in the stores around you. No, it’s not just a beer app. This the THE beer app for people who love this historical fermented beverage and want to discover something new. Find like minded beer drinkers and thrust yourself into alpha status as you join a community that could change you’re life. If you don’t download this app, you’re either not a beer lover or you’re just a plebeian. No, I’m not sponsored. I have used this app for almost a decade and thought it was worthy of finally reviewing the only online social hub that doesn’t have a toxic community outside of the computer building forums! Those people are great too!.Version: 4.0.34

Great BeerGreat app sharing with friends and keeping track of your favourite beers and not so favourite ones.Version: 3.4.6

Crashes with iOS 7 and iPhone 15It crashes when I try to scan a bar code. Could you fix it?.Version: 4.1.12

Great app with good potentialNeed to sort the rating system out though. All the mainstream stuff is getting too much precedence and I can really differentiate between any because they’re all pretty much the same rating. I guess it will improve over time as more people rate, but at the moment it’s a bit useless. The primary reason I downloaded this was to find good suggestions based upon what I like - again, all the mainstream stuff is getting the precedence they don’t deserve. Good luck with this project though, I love it..Version: 3.3.4

A good way to remember and connect with othersJust remember that it won't fix your skewed reviews after your tastebuds have a little too much beer!.Version: 3.4.8

DarrenIt’s a great App as long as people realise it is only a guide and my opinion differs from you. That being said, it’s a great way to learn about beer, where to find it and venues to drink it..Version: 3.2.7

Essential for CerevisaphilesThis app does everything an admirer of the brewer’s art could desire: form groups to post evaluations, complete with your photos, and discussions of beers from its stupendous, mind-bogglingly comprehensive data base of beers & breweries from all over the world; locate venues & ascertain what they have on tap; track evaluations of beers by other users if Untappd; receive notifications when a venue adds a beer to its menu; locate a venue using its map function, etc. I could go on & on about what this app offers, but I’m sure you get the point: if you enjoy beer, by which I mean not only beer but ale, stout, porter, cider, sours, etc, as well, this app is essential and, equally importantly, a lot of fun..Version: 3.4.91

Excellent beer appThis app was recommended to me and I must say it is one of the best out there I will definitely be having this app like forever the only thing it doesn’t show is events near by like the brewers eye does but apart from that it is a great app 😉 I’m giving it 4 stars because it doesn’t show events near by in cities you are in if you do put that feature in it would be the best out there.Version: 3.4.7

Great app for tracking beersThe free version does exactly what I need. The range of beers seems extensive and it seldom fails to find the one I am looking for. Great as a reminder of what I have enjoyed in the past and what not to buy again. The subscription features are not for me- especially at the price charged but they developers deserve payment for a great basic app and I would certainly consider a one off fee or small subscription to be able to stop the annoying badges popping up all the time..Version: 4.2.2

An Alchoholics AlmanacDecent app, interesting for the drinker, but! I didn’t drink much before having this app, since having this app I drink daily and have done so for over a year now. I just love getting the badges and upping my score, plus the alcohol you find on the app.. encourages you to want to drink them all and it then becomes a hint to acquire them..Version: 3.5.4

FantasticGreat app - though not great when you look back and see how much you’ve drunk!.Version: 3.2.9

Big SelectionIt seems every beer I drink is on there. The app is great, it records your rating alongside the community rating for comparrison. I love it..Version: 4.0.17

The Gold StandardJust about every beer there is. Tasty reminders..Version: 4.2.1

FantasticGoing out with mates, but don’t know which of your favourite haunts have the best tap selection... peeps coming from interstate and you want to show them the best beers we have to offer.... yep.... this app is for you.Version: 3.3.3

La meilleure application à vieVive les micro brasseries.Version: 4.1.15

A great App to track your beerIt is easy to use and record all the beers you try, but also can be linked to friends so u can wgstbbeers they are drinking and where. It stores all your beers for future reference..Version: 3.2.5

Best AppFour years now - that is how long I’ve been using this app and it has been a wonderful experience ! I was fortunate enough to try my first “REAL” IPA about five years ago and ever since then it has been so much fun to try so many different kinds and really allow my palate to grow, as well as quickly finding out what I don’t like 😂 (which is important!) Untapped allows us avid beer drinkers to come together and share our love for beers of all brands and flavors; and not only that but to also befriend people on here and be able to discuss our similar, but also different tastes. I am in a beer group with probably some of the most amazing people that I have been fortunate enough to meet since I moved to the south, and they have been gracious enough to show me the ropes on many many different styles of IPAs and stouts, etc.… I really can't think of a better hobby then this one because not only are the beers delicious and complex, but the friends you make along the way is what it's all about. Beer tasting is really a wonderful experience, and Untappd is the catalyst that really just brings everyone together for that one love: beer 🍺. Stay awesome Untappd - keep growing; and to those out there who are just getting started - try everything once and share what you know without others who don't - cheers !!!!.Version: 3.5.1

Great for keeping track of beerGreat for keeping track of beer and ratings. The badges are fun too! And the app is a little bit clunky but good once you work out how to navigate it..Version: 4.0.9

Fantastic AppIf you want a way to catalogue the beers you’re drinking then this is perfect. If you aren’t sure about what beer to choose at the bar then you can search for it and see what others around the world say about it and make an informed decision rather than having a stab in the dark..Version: 3.2.8

Too many BeersLove this app, every entry I have done , shows up in this app. I think they have every beer on the market Keep on updating as new beers come out.Version: 4.2.2

Great app - and getting betterEssential for anyone who enjoys beer - not only is this a handy way of keeping track of what you have had, but also venues you enjoyed (when you may have had a few too many to remember the exact name..!). Increasingly good as more and more venues join as it make planning a crawl better!.Version: 3.5.3

Great Beer App but a few glitches.I love this app but it’s just not as user friendly as it could be - minor tweaks here and there and this would be 5 stars.Version: 3.2.2

Best Beer AppI’ve been using this app for most of three years now, and I can say as an avid beer enthusiast it is a must have. I love craft beer in particular and I enjoy trying new and different brews. This app is a great resource for knowing what you’ve had before, what you’ve liked from a brewery, and remembering great times at a favorite establishment. I was in Ireland and Germany last spring and it is fun to reflect back on the great beer I had there. Overall the performance of the app has never let me down and it’s only the rare occasion that you cannot find a beer on the app. In that case you get to create the beer’s official page, which is always a fun milestone. The badges are a fun add on. Outstanding Untapped, keep it up as the Best Beer App!.Version: 3.3.9

Great toolA great tool to look at collaboratively to see what my friends have tried and whether I might enjoy it too..Version: 3.2.2

Fun and interactive !!This app is so fun and I love being able to log the beers I have had and rate them all with personalized notes and extraordinary flavour notes options ! It’s such an interactive app!! The best !.Version: 4.2.1

A beer enthusiast mustThis app started as a social network that I could see what my friends are drinking. Once you get into though it is a great tool for the beer enthusiast. You can find new Breweries and bars in any area of the Country. I can make a shopping list before going to the store for beer. I can see the top rated beers in my area and figure out were to find them. If you are at a verified venue the beer list on Untappd is updated before the menu. You can also sort by the top rated beers to help figure out what to drink. I have been on the app for about 6 years and drank a lot of great beers in that time. Without the app you are just buying a beer and hoping you like it, but with it I am drinking beers I love most of the time..Version: 3.5.3

Amazing appAmazing app.Version: 4.2.1

Good appGood app, occasionally crashes when adding a photo to a review which is annoying..Version: 3.4.4

Great beer enthusiast appBasically Pokémon go for beers lol. Really fun way to find new beers and keep up with new trends and local pubs and liquor stores that serve your favourite drop. Also love the map that shows the different brewery locations around the world that you have sampled. Highly recommend..Version: 3.4.7

Excellent concept with room for improvementAn excellent way of keeping abreast of what beers are available and which ones you have scooped and where. Personally don’t use the grading system as it’s totally subjective but appreciate that it’s useful to some people. Would be helpful to be able to amend your own notes as after a few Ales you don’t always get it right first time! Seems that once they are there, they can’t be amended. Also no way of checking the total number of breweries you have had beers from. Otherwise a really useful idea and easy to use.Version: 3.2.7

It’s just a fun thing, tracking your beers...Signed up because my brother and a couple of friends were on. Over time I met people in far off lands (Berlin, Baltimore, Issaquah, Mebane, Kyoto, Portsmouth,... the list goes on) who were also beer fans and we had some smiles exchanging beer stories. Meeting someone on Untappd in a brewery or bar in a new or familiar place gave us something in common: a shared experience — something to talk about and to break the ice — cultural and language barriers fall when you share a love of beer, an Untappd facilitates that. I quickly developed a discipline: always a good, sharp, saturated/exaggerated photo (indulging my inner photographer) and always a few words about the beer and where/why I had it. Sometimes a story, sometimes not. Most Importantly: check each beer in EXACTLY ONCE. This isn’t about how MUCH I drink but WHAT I have tried. Very rarely a 5 because 5-star beers are rare. If it’s no good, de-saturate the color in the picture. This app is what you make of it. I enjoy it, YMMV. Peace out..Version: 3.5.3

Beer 🍻🍺.Version: 4.3.3

Sharing is caringNot only do I get to sample some of the best ‘crafties’ out there, but I also get to rate them for myself. So I will always have a tally to go back to. Very helpful! .. Also, does anyone know if there is a position available for a professional beer taster out there? I’m in..Version: 4.0.30

Untapped appA great app to see the different beers of the world and my attempt to try everyone. I really enjoy adding beers to the app..Version: 4.2.0

Novel and enjoyable appFun gimmick to collect badges. The utility of the app in Australia is limited though, as it doesn’t offer the same promotions and ‘enticements’ that you can get for using it in the US (ie, free drinks or free entry to events). Decent enough..Version: 3.5.4

Great appBeen a collector of different beers for decades until I found this app, cataloguing my finds in notebooks, scraps of paper, etc. With this app I can check what I’ve tried before, rate and read other people’s opinions. Plus seeing what’s on tap in different pubs before visiting is worth five stars alone..Version: 3.5.4

Why change ?Use to be good but now it won’t allow you to use your own stickers only pre selected generic stickers I want to be able to add my own like I used to do why oh why stop you from doing that 🤦🏼‍♂️👎🏼and in even a paid up insider too.Version: 4.0.30

Great app to rate and find beersAmazing app that lets you connect socially with anyone that enjoys a craft beverage or 7! Huge library of beers and locations If you like to drink beer then get this app.Version: 3.2.4

Great app. Easy to use.Has had every beer I’ve drunk in it. Has an extensive library. Cool badges to collect. Cool photo editor, and social media sharing options..Version: 3.4.0

Great app, just could be more.Love it, support it, but the updates have been slower and while I feel it’s a great app some badges/fixes could be implemented..Version: 3.5.4

Great to keep track of beers, rubbish for verified venuesLove this for all the beers, still yet to find any that it doesn’t recognise. The only annoying thing is it pops up with verified venues which is all a load of rubbish as Untappd ask for payment from venues to get ‘verified’ status. Some of the best bars are small, independent or micro breweries. They shouldn’t be forced to pay £500 a year to be verified! Just go and try them out for yourself! Otherwise a really awesome, usable app..Version: 3.3.0

Always!Always a great visit!!!! True (46) North, Strong!.Version: 4.0.36

3.75 out of 5Good platform for sourcing & socializing. Intuitive & relatively engaging…and if you can’t find solid beers that fit your style here you’re doing something wrong. Solid fit for my objective of identifying new items to try and logging assessments of what I’ve sampled- so basically continual refinement of my personal beer preferences & ambitions. Being able to share the experiences of fellow craft beer fans adds another dimension to this value, and whimsical flare like badges and events adds fun ambience. I will note that the platform does not facilitate true whale hunting - as everything you can source has to appear on a registered venue’s most updated menu…and so there’s very limited c2c exchange opportunity. I’ll also add that the fairly recent pay to play “premium” access to provide ratings at more granular increments is a misstep. Completely understand that revenue has to be prioritized…but compromising the statistical integrity of your greatest value proposition - statistically relevant beer ratings- was an unwise source to tap. What’s done is done; but now the ballots are skewed towards the often questionable motives of the professional or quasi-pro social media personalities..Version: 3.5.4

My beer encyclopediaBeen on this platform for several years now. I don’t use it to actually rate beers (unless they’re really bad), but it’s a great tool just to track my beers. After all, after a lifetime drinking beer, (I’m 70) I simply don’t remember every one of the thousands I’ve sampled. So when I go to a new venue that has multiple IPA’s (my go-to), it’s handy to pull up Untappd to see what I’ve had and what’s new. And as I travel around the country it’s also great to track all the breweries that are cropping up in every city and village. My only complaint with the app is that badges max out at level 100. Maybe I just drink too much beer. Naw, they can’t be right. IYKYK. Thanks for this great tool..Version: 4.0.29

Best App I’ve Used In Years!!I have been using Untapped for a couple of months now and I absolutely love it. So easy to use and has loads of features that allow me to not only keep track of the beers I have experienced, but also allows me to add them to personalised lists, so that I can always remember where and when I did so. Being able to see reviews of the same beers from a huge number of people across the world adds real value too. I like being able to compare my own thoughts against the thoughts of others in real time. Being able to choose which Check-ins I post to Twitter or Facebook is great. I do like to share beers that I enjoy with my followers and use the feature to interact directly with breweries, shops and others in the industry. The best app you’ll download if you really love craft beers and or real ales..Version: 3.3.6

Easy to use, huge databaseEasy to search for your beer, but the name-match-criteria can be a bit flawed, meaning you occasionally have to search for your beer by brewery instead. I remember when I first started using this app, .25 and .75 ratings were unavailable, meaning my overall ratings now look a bit oddly distributed. Its great use is to see other people’s ratings of your selected beverage. Particularly interesting how it can now separate serving style. Frustrating how some beers are separated by unknown attributes (e.g year, particularly on Belgians)... and yet not by known attributes (different abv). Good user beer reviews - not compulsory and not pretentious! Minor gripe, not easy to assign location when retro-logging, unless you are currently close to said location..Version: 4.0.25

Fantastic!Ticks most of the boxes! You can upload photos, give beers a numerical rating, search the database for brews (and add entries!), connect with breweries and other users. The statistics Untappd provides you with are decent too. This gives me what I want out of an app in this space. You can also leave tasting notes, but strangely there is a character limit - which I don’t understand. I often like to leave relatively verbose tasting notes, so the most important feature request I have is to increase the character limit for tasting notes..Version: 4.0.30

A great way to keep track of beer journeysThe app has great layers that makes it easy to help keep track of any drinking problems lol.Version: 3.2.4

My Beer DiaryEnjoying this app as my beer collection book. All my beer history, venues, variety n a lot other things can b managed just by one stop. I can get advance info about the place n variety they serving before my visit. All I’M MISSING JUST ONE feature, they give us option similar taste beers in case if we can’t find our favourite. Looking forward to see this app more growing & informative. Thanks guys.Version: 3.5.0

Lexicon of beers and venues within reach of your location.Loving this app. Able to quickly find venues and search beers. You can see fellow users and get ideas for beers to try based on their comments.Version: 4.1.7

SuperbSuch a great app for any beer fan, especially real/craft ale. Easy to use, can add friends and it’s very handy for tracking what you’ve had, what you thought, what others thought and what beers you’re after trying (wish list). The added feature of badges also makes it rather fun too. 10/10.Version: 3.2.4

Great app. Stood the test of timeBeen using this app for years. Makes beer fun. Highly recommend..Version: 4.0.21

Great way to track my beer obsessionThe app is fantastic and complete as far as I can tell with logging what I’m drinking and being able to add pictures, pour types etc. The only thing missing for me is that the UX feels a little sluggish and dated compared to most other modern phone apps. This isn’t the worst thing in the world as it’s easy to use, but something worth thinking about. (I know you can’t please everyone!!) Keep up the great work ;).Version: 3.2.5

Belle applicationBelle application pour en connaître davantage et surtout aide les débutants.Version: 4.3.3

Track and trace...Brilliant way to track your tasting journey and trace your steps from the previous session if you need to. Only for true beer officianados..Version: 3.5.4

From The Beer DoctorGreat app helps keep a track of all the different beers and breweries that I have tried. Wish I had this twenty years ago. Should also add a rating for the Breweries, hotels and pubs based on staff service, knowledge of beers, cleanliness ect Cheers Ballo.Version: 4.1.3

BoomerWhy has it taken me so long to find a great place to store my beer pictures.Version: 4.1.7

It’s greatReally useful To keep tabs on what I’ve had, what is out and where to go in new places.Version: 3.2.9

Continues to Be ExceptionalA must-have app for beer lovers. Use it all the time to find good new brews in the area. Excellent for finding venues while traveling and the ‘Verified Venue’ option is terrific to see what’s new no matter where you’re at. Ratings are trustworthy as users know their stuff. The company is fantastic too. Really on top of things, friendly and innovative. Hard to provide enough praise. Even with a few issues, the Founders take great pride in their app and it shows. The continuous improvements and dedication to their users is excellent. Hope more will use the menu reporting options for Verified Venues to continue to improve accuracy and accountability which Untappd clearly desires. Consider offering your Support..Version: 3.5.3

Great appLove the wide database rarely have to add a beer great way to keep up to date with what you’ve had & what you’re after & nosey at what others are supping. Fantastic that you can take photos from the app or add them. Adding beers is a bit of a faff & that aggro increases when adding brewers but it’s very rare that is needed so I do really really enjoy using Untappd.Version: 3.5.4

UntappdFirst of all, I deleted the canned review. I use this app almost daily. I check the local stores and brewpubs to see what they have on tap. Most of them are updated daily. It’s great to have a record of the beers I have tried do that I can go back and see how I rated something. I always try to have something different when I go to a brewpub and with this app I can keep track of what I have already had. You can also see what friends are trying and if they liked it. The wish list is nice if there is something you really want to have but it is hard to get. The app will tell you when it is at a nearby venue. You can also have the app alert you when a new beer is added to your favorite venues on tap list. If you are a craft beer lover, get Untappd. Cheers and Prost!.Version: 3.4.9

Best app for a beerieGet app to share you thoughts, tastes and rates about the beer you try. Love unlocking the badges and meeting people exactly like you. Great platform to find ideas for the next beer you want to try!.Version: 3.4.0

Best beer trackerAs a huge fan of trying all the craft beers, I usually buy mixed packs with one beer of each type & this is the most perfect app for it. The filter options for sorting beers is great for when you want to find out what your favourite beers have been or if you have tried a particular beer before. This is my personal beer diary..Version: 4.2.0

Fantastic!I’ve been enjoying this app and community for years...I find that it’s a great way to discover beers from all over the world. Plus, it’s very helpful keeping track of what you’ve enjoyed through your beer journey. It’s by far the most enjoyable and entertaining beer app I’ve had the opportunity to use. As a home-brewer, there are many to choose from. They are super helpful. BeerSmith being the best. Mr. Malty is excellent! But, this is my go to “I love beer “ place. I’d say to you that if you love beer and want to keep up with what you’ve taken in then use this app and it’s many features. Get in here and enjoy! It literally changed the way I’ve enjoyed beer/beverages. Many challenges and achievements are ready for your travels! Cheers.Version: 3.3.0

Lacks one thing…When I got my first smartphone, this was the first app I downloaded. At the time, I had plenty of friends who used it. Now, not so much but my husband and I still use it. We compare the badges we each have. A lot. So many craft breweries are verified/hooked up with it now, which means the menus are updated more often. I also have two wish lists going: one for beers in the USA where I live, and the other for the UK where I used to live and now visit often. I love that this app is global! What stops me giving it a full five stars? I wish there was the ability to see at a glance the breweries we’ve visited. Maybe have them appear as a different color on the map. This is a feature on the NY Craft Beer app (I live in NY). With so many breweries opening, I can differentiate. In an area and limited for time? How about we try somewhere new instead of one we may have visited previously?.Version: 4.0.34

Dwight Mckellar teviewI really do like Untapped. Two recommendations -search could easier with key words -more pictures of the beer-some names/labels can be confusing & maybe specs like alcohol content & IBU could change).Version: 4.1.7

It is addictive! If you love beer and have friends that love beer, this is the perfect app. My only complaint, is that being a competitive person, my waist is having an enlargement issue. Agree with the proffered response. Agree 100%. 2 beers from 2K. For the most part those 2K have been in six packs. It’s a lot of beer. Worth every drop. My spouse has remained supportive through the inches gained and lost and the never ending search. Getting older and slowing down, but still enjoying the hunt. If this app had been out 40 years ago, that would have made life so much more fun! It has made the exploration an adventure with some well excepted guidance and direction. Will love this until the last…beer..Version: 4.1.4

Great way to track the beers you drinkBest use of a bar-code scanner ever. Easy to keep track of the beers you have and which ones to go back to..Version: 3.4.4

UntappdGreat app. Don’t really use the social side of it but helpful when I’m trying to figure out what I’ve had before.Version: 3.2.8

Best social media for beer! This is a great app that provides useful user reviews of just about any beer. But the best aspect is the ability to form a community of beer friends, toast each other and share views..Version: 4.2.2

Great app for identifying and collating different beers from around the world.Long before this app I was manual entering each and every beer I drank into an excel spreadsheet. Tedious and boring. Then along came Untapped and my life has changed. It’s easy to look up the beer I’m drinking, take a photo of it and even write my own notes. I can find venues that sell a beer I want to try and make friends along the way. It’s easy fast and simple. Now is the challenge of collecting badges for achieving different ‘skills’ along the way. 5 IPAs, earn a badge, 5 German beers earn a badge. You get the idea. A little bit of fun mixed in with a really good app..Version: 3.5.0

Untappd is grrrrrrreat! Is that copyright infringement? I hope not. You might not remember all of the 1000 beers you’ve tried, but Untappd remembers..Version: 4.1.5

Handy drinking appGood way to find new beers and rate what you think of them - never have a bad beer a 2nd time by mistake! Would be good if it used slightly less resources though as it often won’t stay open in the background due to this..Version: 3.4.92

Avoid disappointmentGreat app for remembering that IPA that was too malty, strong, whatever. I am not that adventurous, so probably don’t get the value others do. I like that three of my locals are now certified..Version: 3.2.3

Great AppThis app is great. You get to keep a log of the beers you have tasted along with connecting with friends to see what they have had. There is also many news and articles in the app that are very interesting. This app has so much to it, it is well worth using if you love your beer..Version: 3.5.4

Great way to track craft beersI’ve been using this app for over 6 years now and it’s been great and keeps improving..Version: 3.4.8

Love it, butI have been rather quiet on the app over the past fewcyears and couldn't figure why... Turns out since it now supports dynamic text it has become a hodgepodge of a mess with the setting I use. This is obvs a huge coding dialemma and I understand that but from a vision impairment standpoint it was better before..Version: 4.0.13

Exactly what a niche social platform should beGreat for discovering and sharing great beers with friends. Great for keeping track of things you’ve tried. Great for keeping in touch with your favourite breweries. Good targeted offers and advertising that actually make sense. Exactly what these kinds of social media platforms should be..Version: 3.5.3

Stops you drinking crap beer! Many a time I have been to a pub with lots of beers I haven't tried. I open untapped and see what everyone else has been drinking then go for a good one. Also it stops you drinking a crap beer again if you think not tried it look at your history and you can see if you have..Version: 4.0.25

I need more friendsThe app is great. Good beer information. Share with your friends. Problem is not known enough. Huge craft beer community in Wellington New Zealand but almost no one on it. Currently having a beer with 10 other beer nerds and I’m the only one on Untappd.Version: 3.2.2

Great for tracking good beersGreat way to pre-check how good a beer is and also how to track what I like. App works well..Version: 3.2.2

Glitch?I’ve been using Untappd for years and find it the best app to log my beers above anything else. Since Wednesday I have been experiencing an odd glitch. When I upload a photo for my check in it will tell me that it has failed (everytime on first attempt). As soon as I click “retry” the photo loads, normally when the upload bar is only on 10% or less. I’ve looked at my connection and settings but I’ve not changed anything since before this started happening. Can you check please.Version: 4.0.1

Easy to use great appGreat to keep a record and record recent new beers and check other ratings.Version: 3.5.4

Instagram for beer and ciderThis is a fantastic app, a really fun and creative way to track your beer/cider intake while also tracking the various types and brands. I love the badge system, almost like mini achievements. If you are a fan of beer and cider and have friends that are too. This is a fun way to keep updated with what they are drinking and enjoying..Version: 3.5.4

A great app but...It is indeed a great app to share your beer reviews and rant and rave about the next best brew to hit the pubs and bars but... would be great if we were all able to make comments on each other’s beer check-ins without having to add people as friends first. When we do see great beers around we want to have a chat about it and enjoy it together. But before you do that you need to add them as friends? Make it an open playground for social happenings..Version: 3.2.2

Title is BrentonMan loves this app! Only one problem is I don’t show up on bars that I’ve checked into.. but I still love untapped ❤️.Version: 4.0.4

Nice appGreat app to keep track of all your beer tastings. Simple, efficient. I love it!.Version: 4.1.17

Great but could be betterThey need a feature to duplicate a check in i.e. if a friend makes a check in of a beer then I should be able to one tap make a check in that’s exactly the same.Version: 4.0.17

Great social network appI have been using it for almost 10 years. Functionality has been gradually getting better but there is a persistent bug when taking a picture which does not upload the picture and discards the current check in. The bug has been around always. Very annoying..Version: 4.0.1

Great application and community and beer is good!If love or even just enjoy beer; like being a little social or even just like to keep a journal of your beers and stats (nerds), then this is the place and app for you. It does all of the above and more, like seeing ratings from the community and discovering new beers. It also has award badges... and yes we need stinking badges the internet age just like upvotes :).Version: 3.4.4

Combines beer and competing with mates! The only thing I like more than beer is competition! This app lets you compete with your mates to see who can drink the most different beers! It also helps you make educated decisions on which beers to try next! Both of these points easily justify 5 stars….. but the app itself is smooth, easy and fast! Only issue is not being able to start a new line when writing a review of beers….. but it’s a tiny issue!!.Version: 3.5.4

Useful for beer fansI find this a useful tool to help me remember beers to buy again or avoid as it’s easy to lose track. Also good to help decide pubs to visit or avoid based on what’s available. My only main gripe is their use of Foresquare for location data which can be lacking at times with no way to correct..Version: 4.0.36

Best Beer AppA superb beer community where you can not only record the beers you have, but find out more about them. Like other social media communities, you can share with friends and keep updated with the brews they are drinking. Rate and record notes of all of your beers and also enjoy the added fun of collecting generic and special badges along the way..Version: 3.4.8

Great app. There are so many great beers out there, the app let’s you record the beers and what you think of them. I’ve found it so handy when trying to decide what new beers to buy as I can quickly see the info about the beers and what others think of them. The ‘scan’ feature in excellent..Version: 3.2.8

It’s just fun to trackI enjoy keeping a diary of my different encounters with micro’s.Version: 3.5.4

Great App - just what we were looking forIt allows you to find a beer (scan barcode) or search. Find brewers. Keep track of your beers tasted and allow for rating (and show you overall rating). Brilliant. Makes our craft sessions so much more than just lining up our cans..Version: 3.5.4

Great appIgnore the review about mostly American beers. That’s a load of crap, I’ve used it for many years now and there is 10s of thousands of beers from all over the world thousands of British real ales and craft beers, as well as beers from Belgium Germany and all over Europe, and the ability to add beers and breweries is awesome. In short that reviewer is an idiot, and the app is great..Version: 3.2.9

Very useful in an expanding world of beersI use it to log what beers I have had - some of them so long ago I can’t remember what I thought of them, or what the label looked like. The aggregate score is useful for getting a feel for whether you want to try a beer or not - it’s usually a pretty fair representation. If there are pubs and bars near you that submit their tap list to Untapped you can check that out which is great - especially if they do growlers. I use this app frequently and have few complaints..Version: 4.0.4

BeerSnobThis App has been great helping me learn about new beers that I drink. It gives nice quick descriptions of the beer and also good feedback from other users. Definitely one to have for those wanting to learn and experience new beers!.Version: 3.3.0

It’s like merit badges, social networking, and beer all combined!I enjoy this app for several reasons: 1) I like getting as many badges as possible, so I’m encouraged to try new and different beers! 2) While enjoying new brews, the act of rating has me slow down and think about the beers 3) It provides a venue to fine breweries and see other new good beers! 4) Keeping a lot of what I thought allows me to remember the beers I want to have again. It’s a well polished app, I’ve had no crashes or glitches. Great use of using the camera to scan the barcode, easy on the data usage also. The only thing I wish is an ability to log a beer offline and then upload it once I’m back in data/WiFi range like when traveling overseas or on a flight..Version: 4.0.25

LibraryGreat app to keep track of beers I have enjoyed. Also a handy resource when at the store looking to discover new beers to try..Version: 3.2.3

Untappd reviewVery handy App, especially with there being so many different local breweries and therefore impossible to remember all the names of their beers; you can simply check your own tasting notes along with the brewer’s own description. Do find the App slow to open up. Some offers for American market in dollars!.Version: 3.4.0

A beer lovers dairyIf you like trying new beers and like to keep track of which ones you have had and can be bothered writing something about each beer this is for you.Version: 3.3.1

Excellent all-round beer appGreat to find places when travelling, new local haunts, beers friend are enjoying, and so much more Makes hunting out “uniques” a new sport.Version: 3.5.4

WowTrès pratique de partager entre famille et ami.Version: 4.2.0

Easy to useI enjoy finding new craft beers, and this easy to use app lets me keep track of what I’ve had, and where to go, to get the goods on tap. I also enjoy keeping in touch with like minded people and this app lets me stay up to date with what my friends are drinking, and get lots of FOMO!.Version: 3.5.4

MOST IMPORTANT APP ON YOUR PHONE!I love everything that this app offers. My most favorite thing is being able to scan the barcodes of the beer and getting to see all the info on those beers, along with seeing if my friends like the beer or not. Helps me make better decisions. Checking into places, rating your beer, and tagging in your friends is great. Getting badges for all the different beer types and stuff is a fun feature, and automatically saving your beer history is wonderful. Taking pictures of your beer is funny if you really think about it, and I do it for every beer, lol. Lastly, getting an updated list of what beers are available at your favorite store, bar, and brewery is awesome. The app is all-around good!.Version: 3.5.3

Your good beer compassThis app for me has served as a compass to find great beers and breweries on my travels. Without this, I’d be stuck drinking rubbish mass made, big corporation beers and no one likes that. Thanks gang!.Version: 3.5.4

Needs more editabilityOverall a good app. I don't like that you can't add a photo once you've posted a check-in, and once a score is posted, if it shows up incorrectly, there is no changing or editing it. Addendum: I was mistaken, this app does offer the ability to add a photo, or change your rating. You have to open that post then tap the gear symbol that looks like it would be for settings to me. I do still wish there was flexibility in adding a date for the post, as it shows up for the day posted, when you might have had the beer a day or two earlier. Props (or a toast) to the Untappd's CTO, Greg, who personally responded to my review to clarify, though I found the features shortly after posting my review. That level of effort is appreciated. Overall, one of my favorite apps!.Version: 3.2.9

GreatGreat app but you should add the option to show the last 5 locations you’ve checked in like you do for purchase location👍🏻.Version: 3.5.4

Very usefulGreat app to use to assist in purchasing decisions. Life’s too short to drink bad beer but it’s worse when you drink bad beer twice because you forget the first time round!!.Version: 3.5.4

Good appJust, please continue with the stamps we earned with the beer registration, for example, st. Patrick's Day, New Year, etc. I don't remember which one I expected and nothing appeared.Version: 4.3.3

Beer Nerds RejoiceI have used Untappd for a long time now, and as rapidly as the beer market keeps growing, it keeps improving. I’m always on the hunt for new beers and new breweries, and it feels rewarding being able to earn a badge for each new place I try. I was always adventurous anyway, but even then, it’s really encouraged me to expand my horizons. You earn badges for certain things, like how many of a certain style of beer you’ve had, or if you check in on holidays or at certain venues. This gives you bragging rights that you can lord over your friends at the local watering hole, and backs up your “I’ve had that, but have you tried THIS” arguments. It also helps you remember if you’ve tried something or not, and with the rating system, it tells your future self whether your past self approved of a beer or not. Trust me, that comes in handy. My favorite feature would probably be the beer locator. If you just had the best beer of your life and want to know where you can find more, or you’re searching for a rare gem that your friends have told you about and you gotta have, or even if you just want to know where you can find your favorite trash beer, you just look it up and see where it’s at near you. Genius. It’s one of my favorite apps, hands down. Try it out for yourself, and if you’re not satisfied, we’ll give you your money back*. *disclaimer- It’s a free app, and I don’t work for these people. But it rocks, so just try it..Version: 4.1.9

The best Beer appBrilliant app to keep track of beers you have tried. Also great in keeping up to date with local venues by getting updates of beers being served. You can also link with friends to see what they are drinking/ recommending. It’s very easy to find beers and I have rarely not been able to find a beer that I am having. Highly recommended for all beer hunters!.Version: 3.4.92

Great appDoes it all. Takes my reviews, allows me to remember what I like. Allows me to Toast others be gamed by collecting badges. Even allows me to track home brews..Version: 4.0.19

Really embellishes my beer quaffing entertainmentHave been using for some time. A really great app for rating and finding new and interesting brews..Version: 3.3.8

Great allAn awesome app. Love the idea and it’s executed really well. There’s heaps of features but you have the flexibility to just add the name of the beer to if you like..Version: 3.2.3

Two things I LOVE, beer and Untappd!I love Untappd. I love being able to see what restaurants and bars have on tap no matter if I’m looking at my local spot or just planning for an upcoming trip to a different city. I love opening Untappd and learning more about a brewery, beer, style, and being able to find it near me. I love being able to open Untappd and see if my friends have tried a beer and if it’s something they’d recommend. Also, since reviewing/rating beers is easy, I love being able to quickly recall the last time I had a particular beer and if it was something I should revisit or forget. See a new beer on a menu and wonder if I’ll like it? Just pull it up and see if my good friend Aaron liked it or not. Chances are if he loved it, I will too. We have similar tastes in beer and Untappd is THE leading app for beer lovers. Give it a go, and cheers!.Version: 3.3.3

Great AppLove the app use it on a weekly bases. Would love a feature like a beer locker where you can scan in beers that you store as I have 60+ and would love the app to tell me what I have. And be able to check in from there..Version: 4.0.1

A must for every beer lovers! It’s simply impossible to keep track of the ever-expanding and diversifying variety of the global and local beer culture, but your best chance by far is Untappd….Version: 4.0.33

Best app o.n the rosterSo good for checking out new beers.Version: 4.1.4

Best Beer AppI’ve used this App since 2016 and it’s by far the best out there. Enjoyed many cold beer while on it that’s for sure! Cheers to all beer lovers!.Version: 4.1.8

Easy and InformativeVery easy to use. Helpful when travelling and you want to know where to go for good beer. Keeps me up to date with what and where locally too..Version: 3.2.9

Royal OGreat app, it really helps to see what places have and what you liked on the way..Version: 3.5.3

Great AppGreat app for keeping track of what you’ve drunk. Good functionality & easy to use..Version: 4.0.20

ExperienceMy wife and I have enjoyed doing flights of beers at breweries because we get to have the fun of putting it into our app. It also helps keep track of what beers I did like and I did not like. We do not drink much and hence our numbers are low. But it is still nice to keep track of what we have had and have enjoyed. Also it is good to recommend to me because I might like. Where to find them. How to get them. Where the festivals are. What my friend might suggest to me and I to them. It is fantastic for going into a store and checking its rating before buying it. I find it extremely useful, I do not purchase a beer before scanning it to check its rating level. When I find something that’s a three, I skip over it and go to something I find that’s a four. It is helped save me time and money and narrow down beers that I actually like..Version: 4.0.36

Missing Options with New UpdateFollowing the latest update there seems to be no way to turn off the in-app photo editor, or any scale on the graphs for the statistics page. Fix those two issues and it’s 5/5. Dark mode is a great new feature..Version: 4.0.0

AwesomeGreat to keep track of which beers you have tried. I also enjoy seeing what my friends all over Australia thought of different beers..Version: 3.3.3

My family’s go-to social media appUntappd has become the favorite social app in my family. When we all get together, we buy tons of new beers to sample, discuss, and log. We create locations that we all check into using Swarm. When we’re apart, we’re constantly recommending beers and venues to one another. It’s really been a way for us to use our love of craft brews to keep in touch and interact with each other even though we’re spread across the country. On a less sentimental, yet equally important note, Untappd has helped me gain a better understanding of which styles, regions, and breweries I really enjoy. It’s made it easier for me to keep tabs on when beers I love or have been wanting to try hit venues near me, and has also made it so much easier to recommend things to my friends and family..Version: 3.1.6

Awsome appI love it! Gr8 for great finding and to get to know what type of beer you like.Version: 4.2.1

You’re Fired!!Love this app!! As a small business owner this app is invaluable. I have long suspected several of my employees of drinking too much on work nights. I've approached these employees in the past and they've been quick to deny my accusations, adding that, even if this was the case, their on the job performance has not been impacted (which is true but not the point!). UnTapped gave me the hard evidence to fire these employees. Firing these people has added a burden to my business, especially during this busy holiday season, but I will persevere. A side benefit of Untapped is that seeing the expensive beers that my employees are posting with their checkins has confirmed that I am paying some employees way too much. Untapped gave me the ammo to decrease these employees' salaries. Thanks Untapped, that's more $$$ saved for my business. As the ultimate testament to the app, I am going to make Untapped mandatory for all employees starting in 2021. Any drinks not logged in the app will be a fireable offense. No longer will I be the sucker..Version: 3.5.4

CheersTo an app that lets you rate your alcoholic beverages! 0-5 stars with 1/4 star increments so that you can remember if you like the beverage and just how much. Leave when and where you had it data, the type of drink like was it a can, bottle, draft etc and you get to write in anything you want in an open text area. Who you were with, time of day, whatever you want. So next time you come across a drink and you’ll know whether you want to have another one. This app does it all. Try it out for yourself. Lots of drinks out there and they have it available to enter it with a picture too. Earn badges and awards as you drink your way to the top..Version: 4.0.4

BeerbookA beer centric gamified version of Facebook. Great for finding particular drops and potential employees who are on the cans way too much. A must have for any serious craft drinker..Version: 4.0.13

Fun, Social AppI really enjoy the app, easy to use, the library of beers seems to store everything I have drank so far with loads of other qwerky others. The app due to its social inter-activeness, helps to spark motivation in exploring the beer world, I find myself searching for new beers to log, this alone makes it an interesting app to get on top of..Version: 3.4.9

Such a great app, still room for improvementGreat App! I use it all the time. Nearly perfect, but could better with some improved or new features: 1) Wish it was easier to find a specific beer in my area. Most times, there’s ‘no results’ within 30-50 miles of my area. Maybe this is due to lack of people entering where they purchased it when checking in. Maybe more people would enter where they purchased it if they got some AWARD or BADGE(S) for doing so. This would entice people to do it and overall, would benefit everyone (even in po-dunk Midwest) where it’s hard to find many non-mainstream beers. 2) When checking in Cans and Bottles, let users add the a. Price they purchased it for, b. The number of beers, and c. Unit measure per container (e.g. fl oz). It would be nice to get an average of this to get a sense of How much a particular beer costs. 3) With the metrics available in (2), add a new feature to calculate VALUE! Price, quantity, ABV and global rating should be a part of the value calculation. As example, see app in IOS store called “DRINK CHEAP”. This helps calculate a relative value, but also includes ABV into the calculation..Version: 3.4.8

Has Great PotentialThe thing I like about this app is that one can write in depth reviews. As someone who enjoys craft beer - and takes that seriously - I like the potential for bonding with other craft beer lovers. The key word being “potential”. The thing that I strongly dislike about Untappd is how difficult it is to find other users, both present and future. I find a lot of frustration with the interface. Compared to Twitter or Facebook Untappd’s user interface strongly lacks “user friendly” features. They have all of the right categories but finding them and using them and going back and forth between them can be annoying - sometimes to the point that I give up and close the program and either start over or just move on. Overall I enjoy Untappd and recommend it to everyone. With some minor tweaks it could rival the big boy Social Media apps..Version: 3.2.5

Great appPerhaps allow home brew reviews? As a private thing so one can have a record of batches brewed..Version: 4.1.12

Finally! A way to track my consump... eh, my beer!I seldom drink the same beer twice (unless I’m forced into buying a 4-pack in lieu of singles) and had been saving a bottle/can of most everything I’ve tried in the last 5 years. As a result, my garage has nearly 650 bottles/cans stored on shelves built in between the empty bays between the studs. I get a lot of compliments from passerby, and it’s a great conversation starter. However, I can’t take it with me, and I can no longer remember all 650+ of what I’ve tried. Untappd has solved that for me. But, much to my wife’s chagrin, I still bring bottles/cans back with me from every trip (9 cans and a bomber after 4 days in TX this past weekend) and the Suds Shrine continues to grow. Thank You Untappd for creating such a great resource for those who enjoy reminiscing about their passion for trying new beers..Version: 3.4.0

Best beer app, suggested advancementLove this app for recording my beers and seeing others’ ratings and ideas for beers to try. What i would love to see added are more search filter options, especially 2 main areas: (1) ability to select a different area to perform available beer and “nearby” check ins (not just where i am located); (2) ability to select only beers that are currently available in my area when doing a beer search (instead of having to dig down into each found result to see if it’s even within 75 miles of me). A distant 3rd desired upgrade would be to search for beers by style instead of name as primary criteria..Version: 3.5.4

Possible bug re: green check markA friend of mine pointed out to me that occasionally when she searches for beers, the green checkmark that you’d normally see for beers that one has had before randomly appeared on beers that she didn’t have before. I tried it on a beer she had just checked in, and the same thing happened to me. When you ‘click/touch’ the beer to start the check-in process, it showed that I hadn’t checked it in before. I’ve tried this search for random beers, and most of the time the green checkmark for beers I haven’t had before doesn’t come up. Not sure if this is a new feature or a bug. Might want to look into this. In the meantime, keep up the great work! I love your app nonetheless.Version: 4.0.5

This helped me find a passion for beerBefore this app I used to be a very casual drinker with no real interest in beer as long as it got me drunk. Since finding untappd, thank you eric, I can keep track of what I have tried and love experiencing the minor nuances of almost any kind of beer, except sours still dislike those. For anybody who wants to keep a log of their thoughts on beer, or other alcoholic drinks I think, this app is a must have. Great for being able to recommend beer to friends and family. Honestly, this app is for anybody who drinks alcohol. There are so many other possibilities this app offers and it is so smooth and easy to use I am shocked, and always recommend, when I find out people dont have it..Version: 4.0.3

Great way to keep a beer diary and look up new beersThis app is handy for quickly looking up a beer before buying or ordering to get the details and see what others thought about it, as well as to keep up with beers you've tried. There's an endless assortment of badges to earn that makes it satisfying to keep checking in everytime you have a beer. What you're drinking, where you're drinking, even when you're drinking all seems to factor into winning badges. The social aspects of this app are alright, but I wish this app had some form of integration with the vibrant craft beer community on Google+. You can tweet or share to Facebook from this app, but Facebook is like the Bud Light of social networking..Version: 3.3.6

Ridiculously fun appMyself and a few friends use this app to recommend beers to each other. Also keeps beer tasting new and interesting! Recommended for all lovers of a cold one..Version: 3.2.8

Great App Design- like the bar code scanning - like the activity notifications, though it would be nice to filter my activity out - like the ability to add new beers - like the feeds on the venue - use it to see what to order at a new brewery.Version: 4.2.0

Awesome Way to Learn and Enjoy Beer!I love this app. It’s a great way to see new beers, stay up to date with local watering holes’ selections (as long as they update periodically) and see what my friends are drinking. Good for casual and those “hardcore” aficionado drinkers. You can take pictures of your drink, rate it from 0-5, say how it was served, where you bought it from and even where you’re drinking it at. If your friend is nearby you can get notifications and pay a surprise visit! Two major downsides: 1. If you want to know what your favorite bar/brewery/establishment has you need to hope they have updated the app recently (such as that day). 2. The direct messaging function is hidden and unless you really search around you friend’s profile you may miss out. Yes, you could always text them, but maybe you just met a new coworker and never got their phone number, the app is a nice way to reach out and ask if they want to meet up for a drink. Maybe even create a new friendship. All in all, it’s a wonderful app, give it a try!.Version: 3.4.7

Makes drinking fun again! With the badges, the verified venues, trending beers - all adds up to having fun while you’re drinking. I’m now going into bars and instead of thinking “I like that beer”, now it’s “have they got one I haven’t had before?” so I can compete with my mates (which the medical professionals may frown upon!) Great App though.Version: 3.5.0

Loving the brewsProbably my most used app. Really interesting keeping tabs on beers drunk and seeing how others’ opinions compare to my own..Version: 3.4.3

App UpdateLast update has deleted all history. Lost the ratings from over 5 years. Very disappointed..Version: 4.0.5

IndispensableLove this app so much that I virtually navigate using it in a new town or country..Version: 3.4.91

Outstanding! Before finding out about Untappd, I think it fair to say that I wasn’t even a casual beer drinker. The handful of beers I’d had to that pinpoint, with only a couple of exceptions, were terrible. It didn’t help that my state of Alabama put serious restrictions on what we could buy here. Once the restrictions were removed and craft beer became a reality, I went from too few choices to too many, and I had no sensei to help me along the journey. Until Untappd. Now I had an app that could help me make choices based on what beers I tried and how I rated them. Once I’d begun to add Friends, many of which were far more knowledgeable of beers than I was, I could tap their experiences by reading their ratings and tasting notes (Pro Tip: please always leave tasting notes! Ratings are helpful, but tell us why you left whatever rating you did). When you’re traveling, you can search for local venues and check out their offerings. And you might just be able to find that Unicorn beer out there with the help of this app..Version: 3.5.4

BeertasticI’ve really enjoyed using the app to both track my experiences and follow my friends. I’ve gone to a few bars and looked up beers that I didn’t realize I’ve tried before, only to see I rated low and probably just forgot I even tried it. This has saved me a bit of money as I’ll move on to other beers. If my rating deviates a lot from others then I may re-try it thinking maybe I had a bad batch or drank at a bar with unclean taps. Either way, it’s been fun tracking and learning about what my long distance friends are trying!.Version: 3.3.1

3.75 or 4Untappd’s reluctance to give non-paid users more precision in their ratings will ultimately see their demise. Now you can now get decent beer so much more readily how long will people be bothered to log in to rate everything 3.75 or 4? Good beer is much more easier to come by now and I think untappd played a part in that but now it’s time to adapt. Make beer ratings fun again..Version: 4.0.19

Great beer app!Love this app for tracking what I’ve tasted over the years, comparing beers with friends, and seeing ratings of brews I’d like to try. Set up nicely so one can search by brewery or beer name..Version: 4.0.30

Travel diaryBetter than Facebook for keeping up with friends!.Version: 3.2.4

Beer is goodSometimes it’s not. App helps keep track of what you like and dislike. Have to try though..Version: 4.1.7

Live beer livesUntappd’s forte is that it provides live updates on beer available at happy hoppy venues Saves lotsa time allowing you to zero in to where and why you want to be there Priceless.Version: 4.0.20

Essential for the craft beer loverUseful in so many ways. Logging your history so you know what you’ve had and what you’ve liked, or not. Checking the worldwide rating of a beer before shelling out hard cash at the show. Getting recommendations from like minded alcoholics. Meeting fellow guzzlers - and I’ve got to say I hadn’t expected the ‘social’ side of this social media to be so ding good brewpubs. Finding when a hard to find beer is tapped near you. Finding beer in foreign cities... the list goes on. Only downsides are reviews are limited to sms length entries and navigating the App can be a bit cumbersome moving between layers of menus. Probably a 4.5/5 for the App..Version: 3.3.0

Beer GeekA great app to manage everything to do with beer and also socialise with like minded friends. I love it and use it most days, even if I’m not drinking beer..Version: 3.4.7

Useful beer trackerEasy to use, lots of different features that will appeal to different users, but versatile enough that you can pick and choose how you use it. Perfect way to log and remember all of the beers you’ve had, and rate them if that’s your thing..Version: 3.5.4

Write a review.I like the app ‘Untapped’. Why I like it. I like it because primarily it gives me something to do when in a pub on my own, which is quite often at the moment, until I settle into the atmosphere of the place. It also gives me a clue of which beer to try in an ale house which has a few guest beers. I like judging an ale and then finding out what others think about it. There’s more to it but my bus has arrived. 👍.Version: 4.1.5

ComprehensiveI mostly use this to keep track of what I’ve had. Very handy when you come to a pub with several taps you’ve never tried. I’ve been impressed with just how comprehensive the list of beers is. I’ve found fresh beer producers from Siberia and micro brews in Belarus on their database.Version: 3.5.1

Boozy recordsGreat tool for keeping a record of one’s trip through the that fantasy world of wonder and delight that is the global scene. Where to get it what to get & when one got it, all info which one risks losing in the haze of a session👍.Version: 3.5.4
