Daily Water - Drink Reminder for Negative User Reviews

Too many questionsAllows water to be in ml but then nowhere does it say how many ml in a glass or let you set it. Rubbish so far. And ads everywhere.Version: 4.2.1

Not workingHave tried a multitude of times to set the reminders only to have nothing save. No assistance from the Help guide either..Version: 6.1

Doesn’t work with Apple Watch??Didn’t work with my Apple Watch..Version: 5.1.1

Good app, let down by intrusive adds. The app itself is nice and simple. The frequency with which full page adds pop up, asking you to download another app from the developer is difficult to ignore. It’s also time consuming to wait for the x so the add can bee hidden. A better option would be a small charge for an add free app..Version: 4.2.1

RuinedI used this app regularly and found it easy to track my water whether I was using my iPhone or my Apple watch. Now they have updated it and it is unusable. It is too complicated to add anything on the phone and I can’t figure out how to add entries on the watch easily either. I don’t want to track other drinks – that is why I got an app called Daily Water. I also want to be able to set my default amount and just leave it. I am deleting this app and looking for a new one to do what this one used to do so well..Version: 7.0.1

GoodIt is good.Version: 7.2

Water reminder appWhy change it when it was fine - now too much messing about with drink types that don’t correspond with what I drink! Looking for alternative app..Version: 7.0.1

A minor changeI think I wud drink my quota of water 4 d day more strictly if u made d water count decrease instead of increase. So there is a clearer sense of accomplishment - like yeah, just another glass or 2 to go....Version: 3.0.1

Please Go Back!I preferred the app before the big update. Before, I could just tap the glasses and my pre-set amount of water was deducted until I reached my goal. If I wanted to undo, just tapped the empty glasses. That was it. Now I need to adjust this slider every time and if I want to undo I have to go to another section and delete individual logs. Here’s the only thing I would’ve changed: There were 9 glasses on the screen and I only used 6 for my goal, so when I reached it, it said 6/6, but there were still 3 full glasses left. Just correcting that according to the user’s goal would’ve been perfect. Now it’s too time-consuming..Version: 7.0.1

Upgrade downgradePrevious version was much better. Very straight forward and did what I wanted. Now I have to watch stupid ads and swipe non standard glass sizes (can’t change 300ml) even though I’ve set up a glass in settings to be 250ml and then it can’t even be selected Drinks didn’t reset to the next day (maybe thinks we’re all in the US) The calendar dates are wrong (Monday 19 July 2022 doesn’t exist) Unless I’m missing something I can’t find how to add say standard tea and other drinks but has some other random ones. Too many things wrong with this update..Version: 7.0.1

GoodA lot of adds. Not simple as it once was. Watch app fails now and again. Because app graphically allows increments of partial drinks errors can occur. If you’re looking for fine adjustments and control, this app may be for you..Version: 7.2

New app difficult to add water consumedI wanted a simple app when I found this one. I liked the old version that I can simply tap on a glass and it would add my predefined oz and I could visually see my progress based on these glasses/cups. The new version on the main screen is difficult to move those lines and before you know it, it adds my entry which I didn’t want and is incorrect. Why not keep that original cup view and users can toggle views based on their preferences..Version: 7.0.1

It WAS a great app!It was great & the best I found for my purposes, but the full page ads when you open the app are almost seal breakers for me! In your face ads are a big turn-off, & it is VERY annoying to have to wait for the ad to finish loading just to get to the app. Yes, you have an option to watch a video to get rid of the ads, but it doesn’t work! No video shows up! This app also indicates there is a “full version” available, but there is no way to access that. Because this is the best for my purposes, I will continue to use it, however, you will never get more than a 1 star rating from me until you drop the full page ads!.Version: 6.0

Hmm something isn’t rightI don’t seem to be able to control my advertising choices like I do in all other apps now. I’m hoping to see this in an update for 5 deserved stars or, if not, the app is getting deservedly deleted for not being transparent..Version: 6.0

Messed it upYou messed it up by trying to get complicated. The latest update has ruined the beautiful simplicity of what was your app. Bye..Version: 7.0

Hate the updateWhy can’t the glass show how much water I actually consume instead of the default. I will be looking at different logging options.Version: 7.0.1

Used to work easily with my watchI have used this app for several years, and it really has helped me to increase my water intake and to track it. I would have given it five stars, but after recent updates completely changed the app, it has become more cumbersome. My Apple Watch continues to remind me to drink water on the schedule I set up, but I haven’t been able to add glasses from my watch. In the past I just touched the watch to show I drank a glass of water, and it would sync with my phone. Now, I must go to my phone app, where the screen has become overly complicated with multiple options for beverages and amounts. If I accidentally tap and get too many glasses, I can’t figure out how to delete it. What used to be simple and straightforward has become difficult and confusing. Not a good change in my view. I’ll be looking for a different app..Version: 7.2

SneakyOverall decent. It’s a little buggy and a few not-so-user-friendly things. Copies everything on your clipboard though so clearly just a tool for data gathering they can sell. Stay clear from it..Version: 5.1.1

Great App but the ads!Clean and works well but too many ads 😖.Version: 4.2.1

IrritatingThe app itself is good but the adverts are really annoying. Shouldn't have to have adverts on a simple app or add s small charge less than a pound to remove them.Version: 4.1.1

Why are you linked to my phone number on Facebook?Intrusive app that links itself to your phone number on Facebook when you link the app and Facebook together. It’s a weird interface to link to FB so I got suspicious and sure enough got a warning from Facebook to check my number because “someone else” also uses it now. The actual app might be good but I will never find out because that’s a load of crap. Reporting to Facebook for breach of privacy as well as Apple..Version: 5.1.1

Use to be a good simple app, now way to over complicated.Don’t recommend.Version: 7.1

UselessWouldn’t Open after download.Version: 6.1

Dehydrated No MoreRevised: 2022 Nee update is horrible. Will be finding another app. I'm really bad about drinking water consistently. My old insurance company had a health program that allowed you to make appointments with a nurse, nutritionist, etc. over the phone. One of them suggested downloading an app like this. I tried it and it really has helped. I didn't realize how bad being dehydrated really is. I get bad headaches that I always assumed was due to muscle tension. The headaches could easily be a side effect of mild dehydration. In the Daily Water app can adjust the ounces shown on the cups, how many a day you want to drink and set reminders. Weekends are still a challenge for me to meet my H20 goal but having the app reminders helps. Daily Water App connects to the "Health" app. Great tool to remind yourself to take care of you!.Version: 7.0.1

The new upgrade is terribleIt makes no sense.Version: 7.0.1

Ads Make the App FrustratingThey recently changed the app so that you immediately are shown an ad for something like 10 seconds before you can use the app. It basically ruined the app. Yes, there seems to be a way around it by going into Settings and watching an ad so you won’t get these interruption ads every single time you open it, but it shouldn’t have to be that way... because it wasn’t that way before. I’m just waiting to find another app to replace this one and then I’ll delete it. It’s not worth it for just logging your water intake!.Version: 6.0

Not as good as the old versionI don’t like this new version at all I wanted something simple and it was in the beginning but now it’s just a little more complicated than it needs to be. Some of the changes are ok but it went too far with most of the changes. I’m thinking of changing to a different app.Version: 7.1

Misleading - adsScreenshots of this app are not accurate. It has ads on every screen and pushes to upgrade to their paid version. Dishonest marketing. Doesn't seem to support changing the volume of a "glass"..Version: 5.1.1

Good appEasy to use and a great reminder.Version: 4.2.1

Good appThis would be great app if it wasn’t for the way the adverts just spring up, when you touch any of the menu. I would pay for this app if it had more features and no adverts.Version: 4.2.1

Liked previous version betterIt’s nice that you can choose other beverages to keep track of; however, I prefer the previous version better where you could just click on the glass to count it instead of the new method. I may not be doing something correctly, but often it logs more than one glass and then I have to remember that the app did that, which is a little frustrating. Don’t like having to move the line down the glass and then heading to click the drink button. Other way was easier..Version: 7.0.1

Not greatDoesn’t work on my Apple watch. Stuck on my 8 glasses from yesterday..Version: 5.1.1

Good tool needs improvementNot being a big water drinker I found it to be a useful tool. However, the scheduled reminders are very clunky and don’t work most of the time. I would like to have an app to remind me that it’s a time to drink water. Perhaps, it would be more useful to set up reminder intervals, such as every two hours with the exclusion of sleep time..Version: 5.1.1

Simple/HelpfulUseful app to help remind and track, but would like the # of cups shown to reflect the # you choose as your goal..Version: 5.1.1

Read on for my 3* explanationAdmittedly I have never used this app as a yet, but upon looking at the reviews that has been submitted it bothers me that the developers have not bother to respond to the one’s having problems with the app… WHERE ARE THE DEVELOPERS responses?? It makes me think that they do not care. They offer the app, you download the app, then you have the app, ALL of itWhere you check on the problems but you can’t get any help with getting it fixed. Sorry, not sorry, that’s just the way I feel. That is NOT the way it supposed to be. I may change my opinion of this app, but it all comes down to this: the developers regulate how many stars I give there app as to their support that they show. No support, no stars. PERIOD..Version: 6.1

A glass a dayIt's great that I get a reminder at the same time each day to drink my glass of water. It helps me start my day off right, and is useful as I often forget to drink water, can be a bit hard to tick the number of glasses you have, but I think overall it's a pretty great app..Version: 2.0

It’s Good.I like the app it does the job in reminding you to drink water. I like all the features it has. My only issue is so many ads. 😒🙄 Yeah it’s free and all but every time you click to a different page there’s an advertisement, it’s annoying and sometimes makes me want to delete the app. Don’t know if that’s the way the creator gets paid since the app is free. I don’t care if it has some ads as long as it isn’t every 5 min. 🙄 The ads are way to much!.Version: 4.2.1

AdsPressing on almost anything triggers an ad..Version: 4.2.1

Works GreatIt definitely does the job. I had to figure out the ratio with the amount/glass and the number of glasses but that didn’t take long. My only issue is every time I try to move between schedule and history or main screen, there’s so many dang ads. While I understand because it’s a free app but c’mon, every single time? And sometimes when you click the “X” it doesn’t always go away. I have to app kill it and then retry which will make me go through the ads again..Version: 4.2

BienTrop de publicité.Version: 6.0

No longer usableWith the new update, this very simple app, which existed to do two things: track your water intake and provide reminders to drink, has been over-engineered into uselessness. It’s now bloated with a bunch of solutions that didn’t have problems. I’m out, and off to find a faster, simpler water tracker..Version: 7.0.1

Would have been 5* but...This latest update has broken the Apple Watch App connection... Every day the Watch App loses connection with my iPhone. The fix?: to toggle “Show App on Apple Watch” Off... to unload it, and then On again to load it back into the Apple Watch. The watch App then works fine until the next day when connection is lost again and I have to go through the same thing again... and again... and again - every day. Hope they fix it or I’ll move to another App..Version: 5.0

After update 2022After the update this app no longer works on my apple watch. Also, it use to be so simple and easy to use. Now, its real bother to add one glass. You can’t click anymore you have to fafff and drug and so on. I miss my old easy version!!!.Version: 7.0.1

Why change what workedI used to love this app until it was recently updated. I loved the icons rather than the calculation of the water intake. Please change it back to the way it was before or at least give an option where people can choose the icons rather than the oz amount..Version: 7.0.1

Good if issues get resolvedI wanted a hydration tracker that works with phone AND watch, was hopeful for this one. Unfortunately it’s not quite ready for prime time. The phone app is a bit quirky, you have to nav past an initial page (that has no purpose, itself). Then you see an array of empty and/or full glasses, depicting your progress that day…again quirky. Those issues can be chalked up to poor design, but don’t pose real issues for the apps purpose. My real complaint is that the app loses track sometimes. This may be a watch sync issue, but it forces you to keep track and correct if necessary…frustrating as tracking is THE purpose of this app. The bad U/I is tolerable if the integrity issues are resolved. I’ll allow a cycle for that correction, if not - will delete and keep looking..Version: 6.1

Good, but can be betterIt’s a great reminder to drink your water each day. But it’s not properly synced with my Apple Watch. On my watch is different settings then on my phone. I would also love to see this as an icon on the Apple Watch face..Version: 5.1.1

Not compatible with Apple WatchInstalled this app as it was recommended to use with my Apple Watch. Can not add glasses via Apple Watch - have to pick up my phone so I don’t use it as often. Could be an awesome app if this is fixed..Version: 5.1

Full of AdsAfter about 5 clicks on the screen there’s an advert pops up. Bit extreme.Version: 5.1.1

Minimal app needs a minimal UIThe functionality is so simple the interface needs to up its game..Version: 4.2.1

Don’t like new interfaceSorry don’t like the latest version of the app much prefer the simpler more basic interface of the previous version of the app. Also the watch app doesn’t seem to work as advertised unable to add drink only displays those logged. I’ve given it a two star rating for the reasons above but I’d rate the previous version five stars! I’ll give it a couple of weeks to see how it goes but might look elsewhere for something else. Does this app record and sync with Apple Health the caffeine content of drinks such as tea and coffee?.Version: 7.0.1

Only good for those in North AmericaIts a great concept however theres nowhere to switch to other time zones except North America. So all my alerts come through at night. Would be great if they could update it to include other time zones..Version: 5.1.1

Won’t talk to Apple WatchSo the app is on my Apple Watch but every time I try to add a glass of water, it directs me to open the app on my phone. Will be looking for another app to track my water..Version: 6.1

Don’t be fooledThis appl isn’t worth considering. Had to use and still haven’t figured it out. Rubbish design, rubbish all round.Version: 4.2.1

Could do better!Data not feeding to Health app. 'Drink' action counter-intuitive. Why empty the vessel ti rehydrate me? Choice of drinks not what I use (American?) and can't be bothered to 'game' myself into a wider choice. Am I expected to measure all my drinks? I've no idea if the amounts offered are correct or not - too much faff. Why not offer images of standard sized glases/cups which I can set just once??.Version: 7.2

PRIVACY ALERTI was loving this app & just saw it repeatedly pastes my clipboard. I have universal clipboard too, so having my work from my laptops/iPads coming through here is significantly bad. Seems like a huge breach of privacy, another great app falling through 😔.Version: 5.1.1

Very usefulHi Developer, I want to thank you for making this app, however the newest version is Not Functioning as it should. When you touch the line it goes to 10.7 oz and it then sends a message that I’ve completed my daily goal. ***Your previous version was Simple, Clean looking and was very useful! Sometimes, if it didn’t break, keep using it and just improve on the functionality. End users are already used to the look and feel, a radical change will take a lot of getting used and may even have many bug fixes. ***Please put the old version back. Thanks!!.Version: 7.0.1

Annoying ads & has a bugHave been using this app for some time and it was a good app but since the last update it has become annoying. Firstly, having to click away from the pesky ads to get to the Home Screen is annoying. Secondly, after clicking on a glass that I’ve drunk the red indicator doesn’t update. It is still showing what I’d drunk 2 days previously. If the app doesn’t go back to how it used to be I will have to delete it. Update: App updated overnight and now it’s become too complicated to use. It used to be plain and simple. So now I will be deleting it..Version: 7.0.1

Force close on Apple watchThis app does the job although every day it freezes on my Apple watch and I have to force close it.Version: 5.1
