✓ Very disappointedI paid 27usd for Stocks Live plus and Heart Pulse feature and honestly do not see the value . I have sent two emails to developer neither have been answered . Should have stuck to Yahoo Finance.Version: 8.8
✓ No ResponseApp works very well but unfortunately no response from developers on technical hitch which I’ve reported twice. Watch list FTSE 100 or DOW do not show performance in technicals over 1day / 5 day / 1 month as screen is stuck in continuous refresh mode and no data displayed. Fingers crossed this comment will be read by developer and fixed..Version: 30.3
✓ There were Great, easy to use technical charts!The ability to us the technical charts (MACD, moving averages, etc) on our iPhone made trading easier and enhanced our trading decisions leading to enhanced earnings. Very sorry to see them go. I understand the new supplier fees caused them to be unsustainable. Wish there was another approach to obtain them. During the market drop this week, stocks live and yahoo finance did not give real time or accurate summary data. The numbers page was accurate for price but the watch lists and portfolio numbers were not. Not sure if it was stocks live issue or an internet issue. Cannot know for sure. (Maybe the fact that we therefore did not see the $30 per share price drop that bounced back up was good for us in the end.)🤔 Notwithstanding the recent above listed issues, stocks live has been an amazing, superb data tool. We do not want to lose it. Thank you for your continued efforts for this app. We appreciate all that you provide, even if we grumble about these things above!.Version: 17.2
✓ Support in app not workingI have read your response and been looking for the settings feature you referred to but no luck. As for SOL1-GBP on my ticker tape it has been stuck on 134.27 since Friday last week so I don’t see how you can say it is working fine, all the others on the tape are changing except SOL how do you explain that, if it’s any consolation the same thing is happening on yahoo finance..Version: 21.4

✓ Not very goodThis application looks good but does not work well at all. It calculates the portfolio total incorrectly and if you have more than one portfolio the total varies each time you open the application even after the markets have closed. Not the one to buy..Version: 4.6

✓ No longer like it..... nickel and dime youThis was my one stop place for tracking my investments and reading a little news. Bought the “one time get all for life fee” but as the years pass they need more money which I can understand but don’t make claims you can’t fulfill. Just reading the news now costs me a $4.99 fee. Update: Oct 17, 2020. This is the response I get from the Company “ Interesting that you think you deserve to get paid monthly for your work but if we charge $5 flat fee for the best news aggregator that we recently wrote you start complaining! Contact us and we will remove you from the service but I guess you don’t want to, right! Ungrateful user. " As for me I’ve taken a 25% pay cut and I am on the verge of losing more so I’m trying to manage my budget. Your news aggregator may be the “best” but will the “ungrateful user” be able to read the articles or are there additional fees required by the original news source? Like I said, before the additional fee you provided the news and it was comprehensive and some articles couldn’t be read because you needed to subscribe to the news outlet. ✓ Good to track valuations but needs to be able to handle transactions and dividendsQuite basic. Only gives portfolio value at current point in time. ✓ Good news feed but interface cumbersome and does not updateThe stock prices in My watchlist don’t update well. I have to tap on a stock for the latest price to be reflected. List view should be combined with tabs at the bottom like in the old Apple stocks app. To the developer: The issue seems to be with auto-refresh of stock prices in the list. Even when I press the refresh button at the top only a few stocks on the list refresh. I have to tap on a stock and open the stock details screen to see the refreshed price..Version: 10.6
✓ Great Portfolio Tracking App!Update: I no longer use this app because it’s basically tied to TDAmeritrade (and I suppose Schwab eventually), and I have E-Trade accounts. It’s too much of a hassle to manually enter every stock and every trade. It used to sync with Etrade via third party TradeIt. If E-Trade sync was brought back, I’d give it five stars again. If your broker is TDA, it’s still a five-star app. If you have another broker and don’t trade often it’s probably a five-star, if you trade all the time and don’t have TDA as your broker, it’s of much less value. Previous Review: Best app of its type that I've used -- and I've tried a number of them. Most recently I was using PortfolioLive, which was the top portfolio app until all development ceased about 18 months ago. Now, Stocks Live is the King of the Hill. New features are added constantly and the developer really listens to feedback. If you have a good idea, he'll add it to his todo list and before long it'll be part of the program. This program while complex is easy to use and has almost no learning curve. Highly recommended!.Version: 22.4
✓ Works to track but little slow real time updatesI’ve been using it for years and mostly manually. I don’t like fue fact of giving some to an app the little freedom I have left by giving up my accounts so they can profit from them. Based on comments received from developer and ridiculous response to my review I decided to update; I see they are not very capable to digest any feedback in a positive manner and acted so defensive to my review and to other reviews. These times we have choices and many of them seem great so I guess is time to look at other options… I’m not going to entertain your personal anger and frustration. This just went out of hand and very disrespectful from your end. Calling people names just because I refused to utilize your pre-filled review and rejected your services…c’mon; grow up!.Version: 21.4
✓ Used to be 5 stars. Now you can’t get any news for freeI’ve had for years and it was the best. Now You can’t get any stock news without paying for a subscription. Just got a rude response for this review. I felt bad thinking maybe I was mistaken. Went back into news and the only option was a free week trial that would turn into $50 subscription. ✓ Great interface and intuitive. Money hungryThis app is excellent. However I subscribed to additional non ad free access. Then they decided to remove access to many features and charge for what was available before. News sources which are even free on many stock apps are suddenly required to buy to get. CNBC, motley fool, market watch, seeking alpha, yahoo, any news source costs money to view. Yet you can view free on their apps. This developer/company will advertise the best and taketh away to try and squirrel money from you. It was great before they became greedy. Now expect a great interface but don’t expect getting any additional information without paying and even then most of what you get will be be stripped down in the future. ✓ Very disappointed.Purchased this app a couple of weeks ago because the stocks app on iPhone was not working. I loaded a few shares only to find that for some stocks the historical graphs are not working correctly notably for max and long periods. They are useless and visually misleading. The software or the source data have a serious problem. Either way if you can’t trust the data or graphs this app becomes questionable. ✓ Stocks Not LiveSo, all I wanted was to be able to see my stocks real time. Stocks Live sounds like it does that, right? It’s expensive for an app and it’s name is Stocks Live so it must have live stock reporting! Silly me. You have to pay an additional subscription fee for that. Didn’t see that one coming, but that’s my fault for not researching the app more. For my purposes this app is no better than Apple’s (free) Stocks app. Wasted money. Update: the developer contacted me and pointed out the real time feature is an additional one time charge, not a subscription. My bad, but it doesn’t change the fact that you have to pay additional to get what’s implied in the app title. I was offered a refund but will decline because as mentioned, this was my fault for not researching the app well enough. All the best to the developer, as I doubt he or she is not purposefully deceptive..Version: 11.2
