✓ Great PedalSo far, so good. I haven't experienced any of the software issues that some of the reviewers have had. I've owned a lot of high quality analog pedals and have never been a fan of digital effects. But this one is pretty damn good. Good enough that I mounted it to my pedal board, use it every show, and reprogram it to different effects between sets...without issue. Sound quality is great, and it's compatible with my power source, so no need for extra power adapters or batteries. All in all, I thinks it's a great little pedal..Version: 1.0.8

✓ Lovin itSince the actual pedal has dropped in price (£35 from Gear4Music and others) I had to buy Two. I love it, , now the actual downloadable pedals are free too and I'm wondering why something this good has got so cheap rather than the other way round. Is it because they don't intend developing it any further, or the connection hardware won't keep up with new devices. Other companies like TC Electronics and Zoom are connecting wirelessly, didn't Digitec figure that one out? Anyway, I'm still recommending this, it's brilliant, for £35 you have almost 50 high quality and very usable pedals at your disposal. It's a no brainier.Version: 1.0.8

✓ Great product, but not keeping updatedI love what the pedal can do, it's a great technology, and the available pedals are great. However, I bought this looking forward to new pedals on a consistent basis, and there has not been a new pedal in several months. Additionally, the last pedal posted was $20. I don't mind spending a few bucks on a new sound, but $20 is exorbitantly high. Also with newer iPhones with the lightning adapter, you have to buy an attachment to connect your pedals to your guitar :/.Version: 1.0.8
✓ Fix the update please!Istomp and iPhone will communicate now with new iOs but unable to load pedals. Stomp shop also tells me it is out of date and to go to the App Store to update it even though it is already updated. I love love LOVE this pedal please make it make me happy again :).Version: 1.0.6

✓ Love It!I love this thing. Obviously you wouldn't download to it during a gig but I wouldn't hesitate to use it during one. Seems very sturdy. What I like about it most though is that it makes me feel like I have access to an equipment closet you might find at a nice studio. Every effect I've tried is like a little sonic jewel. My personal favorite is the spring but the octaver, envelope filter and phaser are awesome too. And this is the first digital fuzz I've tried that sounds like the real thing. I'll probably end up buying another just because I don't want to be without the spring..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Best thing since slice breadThe iStomp pedal and the app for managing it really are an amazing idea. It's got great sound because all the processing is on the pedal, but its super easy to configure because you have the touch screen UI of the app. Other multi effects do let you configure with a computer, but this is better because you always have your phone with you. The Angelic Choir effect is amazing, I can't believe I get that sound out of my guitar. That effect is worth the price of the iStomp alone. Digitech please bring out more synth like effects for the iStomp!.Version: 1.0.5
✓ Great! Works on iPhone 6 Plus with original Apple lightning Lightning adapter.I have two of these pedals and buying more as they are a bargain. All the pedals are now free in the shop. But the app ONLY works with original Apple Lightning adapter! No 3rd party adapters work..Version: 1.0.8

✓ Semi-not-so-lame guitaristOriginally thought about the iStomp as kind of a gimmick. After owning it, I realize just how clueless I was!!! This is a freakin' amazing pedal! These effects in the Stomp Shop are killer! There's no way I could have afforded to buy all the pedals I've already bought from Stomp Shop if I had to buy regular pedals. I'm starting to get push notifications for new pedals at like $0.99 each! I get a freakin' new killer pedal for $0.99! Now I've got a new problem - I want (need) more iStomps! ✓ Wild ideaI bought this a couple of weeks ago and have loved it ever since. I've purchased most of the app-available pedals (no overdrives) and they are closer to what they emulate than anything I have ever heard, apart from an original pedal. This is the wave of the future for sound options, and it doesn't suffer from the overprocessed "computer" sound other signal processors I've owned and played. As a point of reference, I run a Les Paul direct into a Marshall tube amp with no other processing aside from this pedal and a talkbox through the fx loop..Version: 1.0.2
✓ Pedal great, app needs fixing...The iStomp pedal is fantastic - solid build quality. The sounds are excellent, up with the best pedals I've owned. The app was equally good until recently, when the demo sounds suddenly stopped playing through my iPhone 4. I downloaded the app again from the App Store (twice) & re-started my phone each time, but the demos still don't play. I've contacted Digitech support & am awaiting a response - maybe the app needs an upgrade. 5 stars if they can fix the app..Version: 1.0.7

How cool is that?!!When my synth player introduced and coaxed me into the IStomp, i was hooked and had a lot of fun trying out pedals, all you need is the cable and transfer and test it out and you are good to go. The impossible pedal is one of my favorites, it's just insane to play with during a gig leaving people wondering "how i played something like that" But what really is great is the sound! It just awesome. I happily use this with my band Fuseboxx. Every guitar player needs to download the Digitech Stompshop and get yourself a couple Istomps. It's worth it!.Version: 1.0.8

Need a phaser for one song on one gig? How about a trem 6 months later? Chorus? This is such a great option for worship guitarists like me that need to grab that one specific sound every here and there. Dead simple to use and sounds great on just about every effect I’ve tried. ✓ These reviews disappoint me.I currently don't own any istomp. However I'm looking to invest quiet a bit of money in them. I'm talking four or five of 'em. I would like to see these reviews turn around. I think and always thought Harmon has been top of the line products. That's why I'm so surprised at the reviews. I've listened to the effects and am very pleased that there are actual brands. (DOD, Lexicon, and a tube screamer) The DOD Grunge sounds exactly like the one plugged into my amp now. ✓ The iStomp is amazing!I received the iStomp last week as a gift. I have to say I'm very impressed with it. The sound quality is great and each 'pedal' is perfectly emulated. The only thing I'd like to see in the stomp shop is a way to customize my pedals in a specific order, maybe only have 3 or 4 in My Pedals at a time for ease. ✓ Top work restoring the missing pedalsI just bought an iPod touch and set it all up again. Digitech technical support have fixed a problem with missing pedals. Having restored the effects, there is DSP in this pedal that make it worth buying. It still seems to me that Digitech created a fabulous device which is extremely innovative and useful. Yet iOS fails to deliver a platform that’s suitable for professional music makers. It would be fabulous if Digitech shared the code on GitHub so third parties could develop other was of organising iStomp..Version: 1.0.9

✓ Top drawerThis app is designed to work with Digitecs istomp, which in itself is a superb sounding guitar stomp box... Each of the virtual pedals are downloaded to the istomp via the included cable which can then be disconnected and it's then ready to use. Downloading the virtual pedals to the istomp is very easy and takes only 30 seconds or so to do. The virtual pedals themselves are VERY good and include some superb emulations of real classic effects pedals. Delays, chorus, reverb (including a nice Lexicon emulation), overdrive, distortion and many more are available and I found each and every one of them very usable... Well done for releasing such an innovative guitar effects pedal backed up by a flawless app to load the various effects with a nice looking and intuitive user interface. 10 out of 10.Version: 1.0.8

✓ Pedals are BACK!Thank you so much for continuing to support this app for old phones and new phones! I use my original iPhone 4 30 pin lightning connector, I have every single phone loaded into that device including the impossible pedal which it actually took me a while to figure out how to use because it really doesn’t do any other effect but make the shift jump to a random position so that it sounds like you are a madman! Ha! But it does take some kind of arbitrary skill to figure out exactly how to use Impossible Pedal. I have tried every single effect even purchasing many of them when I originally got this unit almost 8 years ago? I wish I had more iStomp units. My favorite effects are Swing-Shift pitch shifter and the Redline Overdrive which is as close to my old Proco Rat as I ever had. I don’t know why the pedals vanished from time to time but I appreciate that they are all back now, thank you so much. You really should have kept developing this product with new updates and new effects, I think there is so much more that this system can do compared to those TC pedals. TC can load an effect using a tone generated from your iPhone directly into your pick up, and that is much easier, but I find that The Digitech system is much more complete, it does not merely load a preset into the device, it loads entirely different digital effects that mimic other popular COSM pedals. It would have been great to get amp models loaded into this thing as well as effects models. Even now I think if people were to design effect models that would work with this product they could be added..Version: 1.0.9

✓ Amazing app and pedalI don't see what is up with all of these bad reviews. The pedal works perfectly. I have the limited edition checkerboard finish made for Vans Warped Tour. I'm on an iPod Touch 5 too. I had to buy a 30 pin to lightning converter but other than that the app and pedal work perfectly. I highly recommend this app and iStomp pedal..Version: 1.0.7
