✓ Simply BrilliantI've been using this software and the Ipb10 to record music with for over four months and its brilliant. Easy to use, easy to make great guitar tones with. Amp models are really good. Not sure if they sound exactly like what they're based on but it doesn't really matter, the tone is good. Not tried all the pedals yet but I can get every sound I want! The best feature is using this in GarageBand. For months I was just using the models in GB then this comes along and utterly destroys them. Really happy with the whole deal. Ideal for bedroom practice and recording, playing with different tones to get a feel for what you want. All tastes of music can be catered for. Not ideal for valve amp snobbery, but I use this in the effects loop of my valve amp for easy reverbs, delays, chorus, flangers, phasers, tremolo, and anything else I need, all st the click of one button. ✓ Keyboard on iPad doesn't work after using with ipb-10…After I use my IPB-10 and unplug my iPad from it I have to Turn my iPad off and then on again for my keyboard to start working again…. Other than that it works great I love this app and the IPB-10.Version: 1.07

✓ Coolest, Easiest, best sounding pedal board to dateI was a little skeptical to give up my TC Electronic Nova System for a Digitech multifx. I've had Digitech multifx in the past and haven't been super impressed. What made me okay with the switch was the fact that it has an effects loop so I can still use my Tech21 pedals. The iPB10 floor unit and Nexus is the best guitar setup choice i've ever made. I've been through about 16 different guitar fx setups in my guitar playing lifetime. I am VERY impressed at the quality of the effects packed into this dude. At first thought, it would seem like having so many pedals and amps to choose from would be overwhelming, but it really isn't. I believe this is due to the INCREDIBLY easy-to-use interface. Many multifx units have so many buttons and menus to adjust a sound of one effect that it becomes not fun to use. The iPB10 is absolutely effortless. The pedals are… pedals. With all the standard knobs that real pedals have. The pedals are "on the floor" as they are in real life. Except this is better than real life, because all I have to do to change them is swipe my finger to adjust a knob, or tap it to choose a new pedal, or drag it in a different order. In "physical" life, I'd have to A) spend thousands to get all of these pedals and amps B) plug and unplug to switch 'em out C) plug and unplug to rearrange them. It's the perfect melding of virtual and realism. Are the pedal and amp models accurate? Honestly, I can't say because I don't have a lot of experience with the pedals and amps that are modeled. What I do know is they sound GREAT and real. The rectifier sound a like a rectifier (i'm a little familiar with that). I disagree with another review that says it lacks good heavy metal sounds - massively disagree. It has thick, juicy, chunky, rip yer face open overdrives and distortions and amp models. The app's method of storing and sorting your patches is genius. You can categorize it by style/genre, artist, song, patch name, etc… This is really an exceptional app and FX unit. Controlling it from the iPad is a breakthrough in control and simplicity. I hope to see more units that use this same technology. The only thing missing is tap tempo - which is crucial. BUT, word is from the Digitech rep on some forums is that this is coming with the next update in a couple of weeks. The only other thing I would like to see is… -a polyphonic tuner (like the TC Electronic PolyTune). (the built-in tuner is fine though) -a few sound samples built-in to the app so I can hear the patches I make on-the-go The app is great. The iPB10 is great. DO IT!.Version: 1.04

✓ Fantastic!Been a guitarist for 15 years and never have I had so much in my pedal arsenal! This product has allowed me to mesh so many different styles and sounds together unlike any multiprocessor and pedal combination around. Simply amazing. Simple and easy to use, after pulling from the box and updating the firmware, my IPad connected and sync'd up beautifully. Cleverly the 2 DSP engines driving the sound processing work faster than the screen updates (unlike so many other sound processing apps) so there is no sound slippage while you wait for the new tone to load. This allows seamless playing between riffs and and songs. From mellow to heavy metal... SEAMLESS!!! Only thing I'm waiting for is a recording add-on so it can work similarly to the GNX4 and/or a looping function for self practice and solo project fun. BEST PEDAL/APP EVER!!!.Version: 1.01.2
✓ Absolutely Brilliant.Blown away with the flexibility of this App! You can emulate a well known guitarist or develop your own style. Really good fun to use. Superb for just chillin with your Electric Guitar and trying sounds you haven't before. OR it's also great if you need to prepare and orchestrate your song choice for a gig. ✓ Love it!Great tones through my Marshall Tube Half Stack. Love the Stomp loop as well.Example:Put Boss DS-1 side by side with the "virtual" DS -1...WOW, smoother sounding,almost Keeley-mod esque.A lot of these pedals sound even better than their physical counterparts! Bonus for me? Once I've tweaked it,I remove my iPad,set it,and forget it! No worries about iPad getting spills,damage,etc.And utilize the empty space with a couple boutique pedal favs;).Version: 1.04
✓ Great ProductHonestly, this is one of the best amp simulators I've ever seen. Be warned, though, the pedalboard itself costs about 500 dollars, but considering the sheer volume of effects pedals in its library, I'd say that's well worth the price. ✓ Awesome appI really applaud Digitech for this amazing app and the pedalboard that is used with it. The tone customization is almost endless, and the recording quality into a DAW is very clean and clear. If I could give one criticism it is that there is a lack of decent heavy distortion and metal tones. The ones that are included don't seem to compete with other metal and heavy distortion tones out there, regardless, one can still achieve an amazing heavy tone if you mess around with it enough. It also needs the addition of a loop pedal..Version: 1.06
✓ Love It. Please get tap tempo!Sounds are great. Set up is wonderful. Love the fact that you can place pedals at any position on foot switch(always hated multi effects units that have od and dist on far left,effect pedals always have input on right output on left so real pedal players are used to od dist on the right of board and delays and reverbs on left). It would get 5 stars except for the fact it is missing tap tempo, it's a staple of all effective digital delays and must be addressed in a future update please. Thanks digitech for allowing me to further my addiction to my iPad..Version: 1.04

✓ Beyond AwesomeAll of my other pedals are unplugged and off to the side. Practicing, gigging and traveling with the ipb-10 pedalboard and my iPad. Very happy. Hope they add a second expression pedal in the not-yet-functional port on the back of the unit. And upgrades to the distortions will be nice... More tube sounds ... But a few pedals and the amp distortions a very good. Great delays, reverbs and choruses. Easy to use and navigate. Found the hardware unit for less than $400 from an eBay merchant..Version: 1.04

✓ Tried the newest pedals but nothing sounds this goodI've had this pedalboard since it 1st came out. Ok now I think it's a shame that digit echo just quit updating support for iPB-10 I'm using a LANEY IRT 60H "w/Laney 4x12 1980 cab" I use 3 external OD pedals RockBox Boiling Point OD, Friedman BE-OD, BOSS Compression Sustainer CS-3 and the sounds I get are amazing, I tried the Headrush Pedalboard, Helix Light, and the BOSS GT-1000 and took back all of them but the GT-1000. I also tried the iStomp pedalboard still have it but I only use the iPB-10 I play instrumental shred Andy James, Satriani, Vai..Version: 1.09
