✓ 1 Star is too generous for this app ... Shame on you DigiTechThe level of support level for this app is worse than inexistent. Known bugs take 6 months to a year to get fixed if at all. Each 'supposed' bug fix release introduces more bugs. The pedal is very well built and sounds great. While the iPB-Nexus app had great promise 2 years ago, DigiTech killed it through poor support and lack of commitment to fixes and improvements. This will be the last time I spend any $ on this company's products..Version: 1.08
✓ It's almost AwesomeAm I the only one who notices, out of all the awesome pedals to choose from, they only let you choose 1 distortion pedal; you can't put two distortions together. Why?! It's something like 1 compressor, 1 distortion, 2 delay/mods, 1 eq to choose from, 1 noise gate out a choice of 2, and the volume/wahwah pedal. So if u want a Big Muff sound, with a tube overdrive; you can't do it. It's one or the other. They sell this thing around 600$-800$ Depending on which iPad u get, and advertise like u can do whatever combo; not true, I can't even put two distorts together Which I've been doing since birth. I mean I grew up putting pedals together for a lot less money. Basically I still got to put other pedals with this big thing. Make an update, please! The expensive iPad interface is cool looking.Version: 1.09

✓ On the floorWho operates an iPad or any computer on the floor? You can't see it and it's ridiculous to try to edit patches. I can tap with my bare toe but that's not much help. Digitech doesn't "recommend" extension cables which would allow me to mount it on a mic stand. I tried it anyway and it doesn't work. I only bought the iPad for this purpose. I'm 80% inclined to take it all back..Version: 1.03.30
✓ Seriously?After many months of waiting for an update, they release this. It fixes "Apple's sync bug only". Nothing new, nothing fixed on Digitech's side of things. Still can't enter and exit the tuner from Nexus without a crash. This "update " has also introduced new bugs..Version: 1.08
✓ Buyer bewareDigiTech has done a exceedingly poor job of supporting this app which is still marred by simple errors which they will not fix. If you buy the iPB-10 pedal, beware that this app is probably as good as it will ever be, and at some point you may not be able to upgrade your iPad to the latest iOS version and still have things work. Is that a problem for you? Then stay away from what unfortunately was a very promising and great sounding pedal..Version: 1.09
✓ Missing pedalsWas excited and ready to buy the $500 pedal board until I looked closely at the ipb-nexus app. In the app version I am able to download only 27 pedals of the advertised 80+. in My Gear there is only the chorus/mod tab. And so far I have been unable to find support contact information on the app. If I could access the entire app I probably would rate this a 4 or 5. Will keep looking in hopes of getting an app that provides all the functions advertised..Version: 1.03.30
✓ My Fix, how I got mine working again.This update is unstable garbage. If you updated and now you can't change a preset without a crash. I am using a 1st generation IPad. It's jailbroken running 5.1. On the Digitech site for the IPB-Nexus under the downloads. You can download IOS 1.0 version. So I deleted the 1.8, and loaded it by dropping the IPA in iTunes. Then I synced my IPad with iTunes. It's version 1.0 but it's working much better for me then 1.8 which kept breaking my balls!...................Version: 1.08
✓ Pedal excellent / App suffersThe iPb-10 sounds are incredible. But this review is about the app, which does not match it in quality. While it does have good basic functionality such as easy selection of amps/effects and placing them in the chain visually and easily, It's focus seems to be on eye candy rather than information and power. While it does the job, it suffers from a lack of intuitive design and a smooth user interface. Examples: the realistic looking stomp buttons are small and easily missed by a finger press. If you miss even slightly, you end up going into an effect selector mode which needs to be backed out of. It also gives you less than 3 seconds for a patch selection after a bank change when connected to the iPb - not enough time to visually process the options unless you know them already. Requires too many steps to get certain things done. Does not have digital readout of settings. Does not show the amp/cab names in performance mode (many of them look similar so can't tell from the graphic alone). Shows only 5 of 10 effects on 1 screen in performance mode so you can't see what is on/off at a glance. Switches cabs automatically on amp change when not requested, Reverts to default settings for new amp selection (should keep previous settings for easy compare). Knob settings in edit mode don't reflect reality unless zoomed. No undo of last changes. No revert to previous selection choice. The app suffers from "stomp box mentality" and follows that paradigm as though it is bound by it. This is a freakin iPad for godsakes, yet there are few creative ways in which this has been exploited. Where is the ability to create multiple editable set lists? How about built-in recording, loops, basic drum kit or even a simple metronome, patch sharing, midi integration/triggering, assigning multiple tasks to the stomps, use of expression pedal for multiple effects at once. This app barely scratches the possibilities of the freedom and power which the iPad offers to the hardware. In summary, Nexus has a long way to go before it can be considered even user friendly, let alone give any power tools to match the great sounds in the box. It needs work and thought and appears to be lacking in resources being given to it by DigiTech. Lets hope they wake up and realize that they need to let the genie out of the bottle!.Version: 1.04
✓ Doesn't work with iPad Gen4 !!!!!!! and ...I ask to Digitech support they suggest me "HI, It should work as long as you use the Apple Lightening to 30 pin adaptor, and not an offbrand version." i try as they suggest but IT STILL NOT WORK This product life is TOO SHORT…. ….Very bad thing…..Version: 1.06
✓ What's New in Version 1.08 --More BugsWow, can't you guys get this stuff working? I've spent more time trying to fanagle this app than I have using the pedalboard. Before there were problems syncing, keyboard disappearing, and not being able to restore my backup. Now with the new version there is no way to save new presets to patches on the board. When you click save as new, the box next to "Assign To" is blank. There is no way to choose where to save it to. Come on and fix this junk...Please!!!.Version: 1.08
✓ MrA big boo to Digitech for their complete lack of regard towards the iPB-10 owner's community. The last App update was 2 years ago. Users report many bugs, particularly after iOS updates. No support at all for a large user community and what could essentially be a great product. To make it even more frustrating, the iPB-10 remains for sale in some retailers. I pity the poor soul who buys one. Not good enough..Version: 1.09
✓ Connection problemsWhat a great waste of money. Ipad and pedalboard simply stopped communicating. Now I'm stuck with the presets, unable to program, organize or create anything new. There should be a way to acces and program the pedalboard through the PC, so as to at least mitigate this issue with the ipad....Version: 1.07

✓ IOS updates makes it inoperableWas an awesome thing until iOS 6. Please put more than one person on this (as read on the forums) to fix the issues. Emergency app fix helped, but still crashing on startup, doesn't sync all the time, stops responding, and still full of bugs..Version: 1.07
