✓ New update is awfulI paid to have the magazine on my iPad. I hate the new update that displays the magazine as a website..Version: 5.3.6
✓ Poor download issueSigned up for the trial subscription but unable to get the first Feb issue to work. Seems to get stuck or go really slow around 58-65%. Never completes the download but it just starts downloading gigabytes and gigabytes and fills all iPhone/iPad space. Something very wrong with the app and a waste of a purchase. ✓ Rubbish app - I’ll resort back to paperI assumed this would replicate the paper magazine but on my ipad. I couldn’t have been more wrong - when it works it’s clunky and difficult to navigate. And having downloaded a full issue to read offline I open the app to find that it’s been ‘offloaded’ again. And then even with a good connection the download speed is prohibitively slow. ✓ Doesn't work reliablyRecent changes to this app prevent viewing of magazines that I have purchased, therefore I have cancelled my subscription. Regularly (in excess of 50% of the time) selecting a magazine that has been download on the iPad shows a screen with 0% and hangs. Closing the app and rebooting the iPad makes no difference therefore I have paid for a magazine I cannot read!.Version: 3.3.47
✓ Paper not pixelsI am an enthusiastic user of the iPad for newspapers. However,I really don't like 220 on the iPad, give me a paper magazine any day. Unlike newspapers that are designed for the iPad and quite different to their paper versions, 220 is essentially a series of PDF images of the paper magazines pages(I'm not technical, so it probably isn't literally a PDF, but hopefully you get the idea. Unless there is a dramatic change in how they do this I will not be continuing my subscription when it ends. As I said,it can be done,I never buy a paper newspaper anymore. Those skills have not been transferred to here though..Version: 3.2.31
✓ Don't botherIn a word rubbish. Previous versions weren't good, but the latest one is shocking. Can't open the app, then when it does the magazine doesn't open and the app crashes. Loads of problems restoring previous purchases. It's horrible. I'm no technical expert but you do wonder what the developers are actually doing when they "test" these updates. The alternative Tri mag apps aren't brilliant but this is clearly the worst one by a country mile..Version: 3.1.27
✓ Appalling updateNew version of this app is really buggy - downloads don’t work properly, sections with “Tap for More” don’t work, content is missing etc. Support woeful...have to wait days for them to tell you to uninstall app and reinstall, and then have to go through redownloading all editions, only to hit another bug....and repeat. ✓ Let's a great publication down...Real shame this app doesn't do the Magazine any justice. When the latest release becomes available nearly a week after it is in the shops, it makes you question what's the point? ✓ Keeps CrashingConstantly crashing and losing data. Also, updates mean that you cannot view downloaded editions without an internet connection, not even the old copies. Very disappointing app given the quality of the magazine. Makes the subscription almost unusable now..Version: 3.1.29

✓ New updateThey have tried to be to clever with the new update. Instead of being able to flick through the magazine they have broken it up into separate articles. Great magazine in general but I won’t be subscribing to the app anymore I’ll buy the hard copy of the magazine..Version: 5.3.7

✓ Must tri harderReally weak interface. The app is just pdf scans of the magazine so it is almost illegible on iPhones so you have to zoom in on the columns you are reading. You are better off buying the print editions..Version: 3.16.5
✓ RubbishYou'd think that a digital mag would have been the easiest app to produce but 220 have shown that it must be really difficult. Three updates and all of them glitchy. ✓ Rubbish-lots of download issuesRubbish App, it takes so long to download even on a fast connection, and never quite completes. I have to refresh is several times to keep it downloading, then it gets stuck on 99%. One plus point, the articles are presented quite well once you can view them. Although next time you open the App you have to download the issue all over again, completely pointless! Even though it only cost me 99p subscription, I can’t help but think there’s a lot of people like me who will buy it, realise it’s rubbish and delete the app..Version: 5.3.7

✓ Useless AppMost useless subscription ever had the misfortune of purchasing. Content is excellent, issue is with the app itself. Developer seems unable to link update to existing library of downloaded issues. Every time they update the app, I have to reinstall every one of the issues in my library. The download rate is painfully slow - server issues because I run on 20mbps line. On addition, u can't download simultaneous issues. One at a time. Useless!! I have had to upload my entire library 4 times since March. I hate this app!! Definitely use the Triathlon Plus app. Works perfectly and seamlessly. This one is pathetic. ✓ Missing contentThe new layout is ok for me although I prefer the previous “real mag” feel, even if it was buggy. I read on my iPad not my phone but I can see if you only have a small screen it may be easier now (why not offer 2 versions though?). But most importantly, there is content missing.
