✓ Too much advertising for subscriptionFor a subscription magazine there is far too much advertising, you have to search through the adverts to find any articles. This is just the publisher grabbing money at the expense of the magazine content. Either make it a free magazine or reduce advertising by 2/3..Version: 3.3.55

✓ I like the magazine but not the purchase systemI purchased a single magazine to see what it was like and ended up receiving a continuous subscription for which I have been continuously charged as far as I can see. I contacted the App creators by email and by phone to correct this problem but no one contacted me back. I believe I am still being charged for an unending subscription which I'm not using and have been unable to cancel it. ✓ Great magazine, BUT.....Even though I subscribe to the very expensive print edition of this magazine, if I want a digital copy, I must pay extra.....a lot extra....for each digital copy. ✓ All my saved folders and bookmarks wipedHave spent months saving articles about gardens or designers or plant ideas for my garden into different folders in the bookmark feature which were wiped out completely after a recent app upgrade. Apparently this is normal (according to support). So have gone from thinking this is an amazing app because of the bookmark and folder feature to deciding its a rubbish app because over a years worth of cataloging and saving articles has been wasted. ✓ Avoid this appI have two subscriptions that use Immediate Media apps: Gardeners' World and Gardens Illustrated. Both are a continuous source of annoyance. Downloaded issues routinely become unavailable and have to be downloaded again. Or, even worse, purchased again. The print issues are available before the iPad issues. After IOS 8 was released, the apps didn't work for weeks. Customer support consists of telling you to uninstall and reinstall the apps, which would mean downloading every issue from scratch. I love the magazines, but no way I am renewing my subscriptions..Version: 3.3.37
✓ Great Content, Lousy ApplicationThe content of the magazine is great, but I’ve had nothing but problems getting the application to function. I download content, only to find out it’s unavailable the next day. Constant issues with being able to view previously downloaded content. Really a shame, because the content is fantastic. App support is sketchy at best. No resolution to my issues other than asking whether I’ve logged in through Apple or direct to the magazine publisher. Have reloaded the app three times, still performs the same way. Not at all what I would expect from such a great magazine..Version: 5.5.0

✓ Incredibly disappointed in the way it looksThis app makes a beautiful magazine look like a website or blog and it’s very disappointing. I tried a sample on the kindle app on my iPad and it looked great, like turning the pages of the mag, and I could still zoom in etc. So I downloaded the official Gardens Illustrated app and purchased a subscription through it, thinking it would be the same and it’s definitely not. Text is typeset separately to the images and you have to scroll down like a blog. I’m over looking at blogs, I wanted a magazine but without the storage issues, as I’d like to keep it for reference. Am I getting a setting or preference wrong or the app? I’d really like it to look like the sample I saw..Version: 5.6.0
