✓ Great appI really love this app. I have been able to get a lot of substituting jobs using Jobulator. I was skeptical at first but it has proven to be a real asset. The only complaint I have is lots of times by the time I open the site and read about the job, it has been taken. It would be nice if it would stay with a job opportunity long enough for me to decide if I want to take it or not. All in all I am very happy with this app..Version: 5.1.0
✓ IOS 11 m app update!Edit:: after getting the second update and going to setting to reset everything the app seems to be working better! I didn’t update my phone to the new update until Jobulator’s app was fixed so when the app updated and said bugs fixes for iOS I updated my phone. Now the app is not working! Now I’m paying for an app that doesn’t work! Please fix the issues with iOS 11!.Version: 5.2.1
✓ Time is moneyI’ve seen many negative reviews, but I have been very pleased with the app. Perhaps updates have helped since the negative reviews are mostly 1-2 years old. I haven’t had the technical issues others have mentioned. Anyway, rather than being stuck to my computer, I get notifications anytime. It is true that jobs disappear fast, but that’s true with or without the app. The app just lets me know I missed it rather than being blissfully unaware. If it gives me even one day with a job or a better job, it has paid for itself. Time is money! Lastly, I love the import to calendar feature. Not only does it include the the date and time, it also gives the teacher’s name and school address which I can easily tap to get directions..Version: 5.2.1
✓ Nice app for regular subsI began using this app about a month ago. Yes, I have received jobs I would not have seen otherwise. Yes, I will continue to use the app on a moth to month basis. Disappointing how slow the app is it open only to find the job has already been taken. Also wish there were greater detail for the listings. I would like to see grade level and limited use of acronyms. I.e. The other day, a job came up for "extra help at KSS" I have no idea what that means..Version: 5.1.0
✓ Love this AppThe only thing I wish this app would do that it doesn't is allow to add jobs to your calendar after you have closed the accept job screen. If you don't add it immediately after accepting, you've lost your opportunity. But other than that, it has allowed me to get more jobs at better locations and not have to constantly log in on my computer. It's a must have for me..Version: 5.1.0
✓ Easier than having to constantly loginIt's great to have an alternative notification than being logged into the substitute program 24/7 waiting for postings to pop up. However, an option beyond accept and reject would be great. Reject makes you never see that type of job again, ever again. But what about a clear button so I don't see that job anymore today. A filter or organizer would be great. An option to see job sorted either by grade level, or type of course or even by school or district. My incoming offers get quite full sometimes and a filter would be nice and easy..Version: 5.1.0
✓ Great, butBeen subbing for about 3 years and this is a great app to use. Only problems are sometimes when a job comes in and I open the open the job is either gone or isn't really there. And another issue is lately it's been giving my the same job twice, I accept the job and then the same job dings again right after I already accepted it so I accept it again and then it goes away. ✓ Indispensable but frustratingThis is my first year as a substitute teacher and I was told that I absolutely need this app. I don't know how I would get jobs without it but with that being said, it is amazing how fast jobs disappear. I can literally have my iphone in my hand, get the alert there is a job, swipe to see it and it's already gone. I don't know how I could have gotten to it any faster. This happens A LOT. Very frustrating. But I get enough jobs to make it worthwhile. I would also like to be able to see details of my existing jobs without having to go to AESOP..Version: 5.1.0
✓ Hoping for an update soon!I love love love my Jobulator app. I spend a lot of time sitting with it open on my phone because of how simple it is to get jobs, however I would love to see an update in the near future. Two suggestions I have would be... 1.) Ability to see job details on the Jobulator calendar. It is frustrating that you have to go to the Aesop website to see details for your upcoming and previous jobs. 2.) Apple Watch capabilities. I am not always able to get to my phone in time but I do have an Apple Watch. It would be really great if I could pick up jobs from my watch. Other than that I highly recommend this app for any substitute teacher. I have already told two of my friends about it and they love it too!!.Version: 5.1.0
✓ Update Needed!I have to say that I love this app. Before getting this app, There were never any jobs available because they were take. Before I ever saw they were available. Now I see them and have many assignments. It could be improved by improving how you add it to your calendar. 1) I see that right after you accept a job, you are given the opportunity to add it to your own calendar. In fact, this is the only time you are allowed to add it and if you somehow forget to add it, then you lost your chance. You should be able to add it to your calendar at anytime, not just at this particular moment. 2) Even when I try to add t to my calendar it doesn't work. When I click to add it to my calendar, it tells me to pick what calendar I want to use, but the list is blank. My iPhone 6 has the most recent update and I have the setting on Jobulator set so that it can access my calendar..Version: 5.1.0
✓ Great appJobulator is the only sub service out there for $40/year. I tried it on a free trial and if I got even one job I would otherwise have missed, the service was paid for. I have used it for 2 years with great success. The app is occasionally buggy- it will ring only to immediately report the job is taken. I agree with other complaints that the only way to see specifics of the day's job is to access the Aesop calendar. The app does have a button for the Aesop calendar, but that's an extra few steps while I'm standing at a punch clock with a line behind me. It would be perfect to see my calendar right from the app so I know who I'm subbing for that day. My big beef is that I received an email from Jobulator last week saying they stopped servicing my school district as of today. Wow, thanks for the long notice to allow me to change services! ✓ Awesome app!I have tried two other apps for the Aesop sub program, and while they were okay, this is way better! I like how you can get more info by clicking on the job; and I like how it will put the job in your calendar after accepting it. The only thing I would like to see changed (improved) is the calendar view in the app itself. It shows what days you are scheduled to work, but it does not say where you are scheduled to work on those days. It would be awesome when you clicked on the day if it would give information about the job that day. Otherwise an awesome sub program! Definitely worth $4+ a month!!.Version: 5.1.0
✓ Nice appNo wonder I have been missing out on so many sub jobs!! This app has them all! I like it. Not sure what all the griping is about. Although as I read some and see all the grammatical errors, I grow concerned for the quality of subs (and people) writing these reviews. The only flaw is that it doesn't sync with my iCalendar. It isn't really a big deal but that functionality would make it 5 stars. To me, this is a 4.5 star app. $6/month is a bargain considering how easy it is to use. ✓ Great but have a question 👇🏼 How to get out of accepted job?So far this app has been great at getting jobs but I accidentally excepted one on a day where I have a doctors appointment already scheduled. I assumed I could go into the app and reject the job to make it available again on Jobulator. So far, I can’t find any options to do so. Would be great if there is an option to relist a job for accidental double bookings. Other than that, I love this app! The creators created a really great service for our school system 😊.Version: 5.2.1
✓ Substitute teacherI love this app. Jobs come through all the time and I'm able to get ready and get my kids ready in the morning without having to constantly refresh the website. The app checks it every minute for me. I love it even more now that they offer monthly instead of yearly billing. I used the free trials on the other apps out there. This one was the fastest. ✓ Great!I don’t understand all the negative reviews. I have had a super experience using this app! I’ve gotten so many jobs & have worked every single day of the week one year for the ENTIRE year! ✓ Update fixes biggest issuesNo more sound when my phone is on silent is great, and how it shoulda been originally! My only two small complaints is 1) When I swipe and hit delete on a job I don't want any more prompts that I have to click on 2) No sound when a new job appears when the app is open, it already goes off when it appears when the app is closed. Overall I'm glad to see the developer is listening to those of us who use the app every darn day.Version: 5.1.0
