This game could be ported to any console and I would love to see it on the Wii. It shows that games can be simple and still be good with a straightforward aim-and-shoot base but with nice characters and collapsing buildings. Be great to see fire ammo in an upgrade which could set fire to buildings and time-bombs or bouncing ones! Maybe even sticky-bombs and tunnelling ones as well. ✓ Great app!This game is really good. Because the levels gradually get more difficult, there ends up being quite sufficient gameplay. The controls are easy to use and provide enough angle of trajectory and ball velocity to get to the hard-to-reach structures. Being able to enchant the ball is a great feature, so your not just left catapulting and catapulting to try and nock down the larger, heavier structures. I would like to be able to see how much magic a particular enchantment uses before-hand, because otherwise you can't keep track of how much magic you're using easily. Also, I think that having to use a chosen enchantment for the rest of the level makes gameplay a little more frustrating. Perhaps making an enchantment cheaper (as far as magic goes) and only able to be used one by one would help solve this problem. Over all, I've really enjoyed Catapult King. And after an update or two, this could end up being a perfect app!.Version: 1.1

✓ Can't stop hurling......and by "hurling" I mean "throwing". I downloaded this game after seeing the name Chillingo attached to it (you know it's going to be good!) and 4 hours later I still wanted more. Great animation and very realistic feel. It looks incredible on the new retina screen! Wow. (Sorry! You guys with the original iPad or iPad2 get sick of hearing people say that, don't you?! I did before I finally got a new iPad!) After the first group of little dudes you watch fall to their death and pop out of existence you quickly are reminded of that Angry Birds game that everybody can't stop talking about... (for whatever reason). Unlike that game you do not have to wait for all the pigs (in this case, little taunting men who laugh at you when you miss your target as well) to slowly die off before you can go fire more ammunition (various "balls" like canon balls) at them. This enables faster play and it also allows you to take advantage of your target teetering between regaining their balance or actually falling. You can see a vulnerable spot from your last blast (that might otherwise straighten itself out and not collapse if you had to just wait and see what happens without being able to influence it) and actually be able to make it collapse by firing again instead of waiting for all the debris and targets to finally and completely settle before it allows you to go on as I remember from Angry Birds. Great game! I think it will go far..Version: 1.0

✓ Amazing play, amazing graphicsLate last night I was in the app store looking for something new and different. Not one of those mindless, time passing games, but something interesting. Well this game is absolutely incredible. Great game for family and kids of all ages, I'm 49! So, ok, I dwnld game and am so surprised. It's not quite like angry birds, which I don't care for anyway, but it has a really great twist. The characters are adorable, the landscape is lovely, wish I lived there. And the little guys are so quirky, almost mocking you to knock them down! So cute!! There's power ups, ground shocking bombs, and lightning bombs. Well not bombs, but the ammo. Well you guys just have to try it, I can almost promise that you will love love it! Great job developers! Great job!! A treasure of a find in an amazing game!.Version: 1.1

✓ Better then it lets onAt first I thought the game was a little bit lame, trying to get on the band wagon of angry birds, but I kept being drawn back in to it, as it does have an addictive pull. Progressing through the levels and understanding the tactical features only added to the enjoyment of he game. Only then did I actually appreciate the full rendering of the 3D side to it, especially when you get to certain levels where you need to pan around the play area to see the scene from a reverse angle. That coupled with the quirky characters that taunt you when you don't win, makes this a great game, which in my opinion is a good partner to angry birds I must say a final point about the negative or low scores some people have posted, having taken my time to absorb the true game play rather than post a comment after playing for 5 mins I can only think those people have not progressed to higher levels where there is more skill an tactics involved. This is certain to top the charts for a while. Good work guys, hope to see more levels or themes released soon.Version: 1.0

Towers fall according to where and how fast you hit them, you knock out soldiers in the levels to clear them (similar to the Green Pigs in Angry Birds) and best of all, it's FREE!!! Definitely get it, if you like Angry Birds, or looking for a new challenge, then you'll love this! Best free game on the app store! Those in-app purchases are not necessary to fully enjoy the game either, and they won't get in the way. ✓ AB3D?Lacks the cutesy appeal of Angry Birds (the guards are just irritating) but otherwise similar to what a 3D version of AB might be, including splitter-shots, bomb-shots and power-shots in later levels. Contrary to what some others have said, there is no need to spend any extra money on anything (any more than you need to buy Mighty Eagles in AB). All levels can be mastered with shots alone, it just takes a bit of thought and patience (just like harder AB levels). In any case, if you are stuck you can simply keep playing the easier levels multiple times to accumulate enough spells for more power ups. You can progress through with modest skill, and when you get better, go back for the gold crowns and higher scores. It's easy to dip in and out of too. I assume the low scores are from people who can't work out how to master beyond the first few levels. 69p for several hours of gameplay is amazing value - and "more levels coming soon!".Version: 1.0

✓ Hmmm...This is an addictive game; great graphics, strategy, and so on. It is enjoyable. There is one gripe that I have though, not sure if it's supposed to be part of the game or not: I fired some of the shots given to me, but not all of them. I then decide to use some magic for the earth shaker to finish off the rest of the soldiers, but I found that when I do, the soldiers that I knocked down already from my earlier shots, appear again, as though I never knocked them down in the first place. I wonder if that's supposed to happen? Other than that, I've been playing this game for about three hours straight :) !.Version: 1.0

As an adult, you can try to find the weakness, taking into consideration, material used, location, support infrastructure, domino effect, etc., and try to get the gold crown (use less catapult rocks). If you get stuck, look pinch, zoom, rotate (2 finger spin) and study the Dragon's castle before blasting! Have fun!!.Version: 1.0
