✓ Missing issueI really like this magazine and was looking forward to having issues on my iPad. That being said, the app seems to have some glitches. I purchased an issue but for some reason it didn't download. I thought I might have messed something up with the purchase so I tried to buy it again. It said it was already purchased but hadn't been downloaded. The app though, doesn't have a download button showing for this issue. I tried to use the app support website but it's a dead end link. I would recommend avoiding this app..Version: 3
✓ Poor AppI subscribed to both the digital and print issues. This app rarely shows the magazine covers, and if you try to either buy or download just sits there - nothing happens. Have deleted and reinstalled several times to no avail. **POOR**.Version: 4

The magazine itself is awesome every issue, and I converted from paper to iPad and love it, however the app always freezes, I have to re download magazines and restore purchases often This is a HUGE PAIN as my ipad isn't always online and I can't read my magazines until I get home/online I have various other magazines and if this isn't sorted I will cancel my subscription Pity because THFE is my 1st choice mag, however the app could be the difference in me keeping loyal.Version: 1.31
✓ Server connection issues in downloading new issuesIve been a subscriber to Train for more than three years, however in the last year.. I have been having problems downloading newer issues from the Train magazine server... I have deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times to no avail... I've contacted Train, who were helpful in sending me some hard copies of the magazine... But this doesn't solve my issue with downloading onto iPad. Great magazine but if the issue can't be rectified, I'll have to cancel my subscription... It don't want to have to carry around hard copies..Version: 4
✓ AvoidWell I managed to get my edition to load ok, but to be truthful I wish I hadn't bothered. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the magazine and content, but my word this app is dreadful. First point is that it's so compressed the text reads like a bad photocopy. This isn't helped by the second point that you can't pinch and zoom the text. If by some miracle you are able to read the text, then it'll only be the text that isn't cut off at either side of the screen or is underneath the titles that seem to randomly appear on any given page (3rd point). Fourth point is the pages are also randomly cut in half leaving you with no idea whether to scroll down or right to actually read any particular article. Sometimes what would be a double page spread is scrolled down rather than right, but then down for a seemingly random number of pages that are inconsistent from one article to the next. The pages that are never cut in half, or appear at a carp resolution or are difficult to navigate though are of course the adverts. Their sole purpose is to link to any given website as you furiously tap away at the screen trying move to the next page whilst swearing and shouting that I've just paid for this issue, why am I blighted by delayed adverts?! So disappointing that such a slickly produced paper magazine has an app that could have been better designed by my mother. Really guys, sack the numpties that produced this for you and get some professionals in to do a proper job..Version: 1.31

✓ Do not downloadThis app doesn't remember the page you left off at, loads images painfully slowly, and doesn't allow you to disable auto renew subscription in settings. It took a week waiting for customer service to get my purchases restored after try to reinstall to fix the page remembering problem. Do not get this app..Version: 5.2
✓ Epic Fail!Love the magazine; Hate the App! This is the third update in the last month and they have failed to fix any of the previous bugs. It looks like I can download my previously purchased issues, but I can't view them because the program crashes upon trying to open them up. Very disappointed because the app used to work for me. ✓ Still brokenI downloaded the app cause I saw the magazine in a store and it appealed to me. The app however just says no internet connection when there is internet. Anyway obviously it is garbage. What kills me is that I see a review that someone made back in 2015 saying the app is broken yet here it is in 2016 still broken. Hey apple, why clutter the universe with broken crap? ✓ I never review anything: this is *THAT* badSubscribed in March 2015. Couple of mags downloaded fine and then they disappeared. Hasn't worked since. Won't download issues that have been paid for. ✓ Doesn't Work for Recent EditionsSubscribed to the app and have been constantly frustrated. The recent issues just give 'updating price' message and you're not able to download them. ✓ Don’t botherRight.. If your like me and you used to read these mags back in the day. Then save your money, half of the magazines are just repeated articles from a few months prior (Don’t believe me then waste your money). Pure lazy writing and lack of imagination for what was a great magazine. People have also mentioned it before, nearly half of the pages are double spread pictures to fill it out along with countless ads. On top of this don’t bother if you think these mags come out monthly as they DO NOT! I’ve had emails confirming this from the media group. ✓ UselessPurchased an issue over 20 mins ago and still haven't been able to read it. Takes ages to download an issue, then takes ages 'decompressing' the issue then when you click on the inappropriately names 'Read Now' button you will be treated to the message that the issue is loading... And that's it. Don't expect to actually see the mag, the app seems to freeze when aked at actually display what has been paid for. Tried deleting the app and starting again with no success. ✓ Where is the MMA?As a fitness mag this is pretty good, however since the "Train Hard Fight Easy" title was dropped, all MMA (cage fighting) content has disappeared. The app is absolute trash and since it is digital only, it’s very difficult to actually enjoy the magazine. The articles will rarely actually download. ✓ Great magazine, shame about the appThis magazine and it's sister Fighters Only are the only magazines I have a subscription for and I have read for years. When I got my new iPad I bought a years subscription for both and although the first issue downloaded with no problems, it was weeks after store release that the next issue appeared for download on my iPad. Now the next issue is out and again, no sign on the iPad. I am very disappointed! I will say that this magazine app has many flaws but occasionally works, unlike the fighters only app which has not worked since the first issue of my subscription 3 months ago! I wish I had just stayed buying them in the shop! Also after reading a review on the fighters only, I deleted and reinstalled as someone was told this would update the app. Not only has it not updated but it now doesn't recognise that I have a subscription and wants me to pay for all issues again :-(.Version: 1.1

✓ Poor quality, don't but digital version.This is meant to be a digital version of the magazine, not a crappy scanned version go the magazine. My advice is buy the hard copy version, and wait till they sort a decent digital version. (Even zooming in on digital version is blurry) Other mags even have hyperlinks on all the adverts in case you want to buy the goods, this with "Train" In fact if your listening please give me back my money, or send me the hard copy. I purchased a 3 month subscription a couple of weeks ago yet it won't allow me to download the latest issue. I have attempted numerous times to restore my purchases and it says completed, it then says restarting app, which it never does, so it's a vicious circle. ✓ Great Magazine Average AppI really like the magazine and have bought a 12 month subscription and the magazine itside the app is great...but the newstand portion notification is constantly telling me there is a new issue to download even when there isn't and when I go into newstand and there is a new issue, the app says that i have to pay for it untill i click on restore purchases and go through the whole downloading thing again, and then I finally get the option to download the current magazine, and have to go through the downloading again. I've done that for the current issue 8 volume 2 and now the app is telling mw that I need to buy issue 7 volume 2 when I already should have it as part of my subscription, and everytime I tell it to restore purchases it never comes back..Version: 1.1

Every time I try to download the latest issue, the app freezes and I have to delete it, re-download it and attempt to re-download all the magazines I previously paid for. Just a few minutes ago I downloaded the July 2013 issue and when I tap to read the magazine, it crashes. This has gone on for months. The app was last updated in 2012.
