Needs louder signalsThis was just what I was after. Clean simple effective and easy to read from a distance. However the alert noise signals are not loud enough in a busy HIIT centre and unless I'm looking directly at screen I can't tell when interval is over and that pretty well makes the app useless. Simple thing to fix guys even with volume at full it's not loud enough and sounds are too soft you need stronger sounds..Version: 2.0.2

Updates missed some basicsI have loved this app for years and use it for AMRAP time as well as intervals. Since the update the max ‘work’ time has lowered to 6:00minutes. I can no longer do 12m workouts without making a work-around. Minor inconvenience. What is the most upsetting with the update is I can’t leave the app open and watch time any longer because it significantly reduces the music volume. Really disappointing. It’s not clear if a subscription fixes the volume issue like it would the work time limits. I can’t imagine needing 60 repeats 😂 but they added that in..Version: 3.0.1

Exceptional support!I have been using and loving Bit Timer for years. The user interface is elegantly simple and the app does exactly what I want it to do without being bloated by features I don’t care about. But now, I’m here to talk about Peiter’s fast and effective response to a display problem I suddenly began having a few weeks ago. Short story: I emailed Peiter and described the problem; he emailed me back with a couple of questions; and in no time he had traced the problem to a bold-text IOS update. Longer durations?This is a fantastically simple app. I downloaded it not realizing the longest interval was 4min long, though. Is maybe a secondary setting (that doesn’t interfere with the main UI simplicity) that could be switched from “Exercise” to “Productivity” or something? This would be so sick to have larger intervals of work and rest for desk work and general focus-relax cycles when doing things outside the gym. Literally just a switch that changed the seconds to minutes and minutes to hours so that the largest interval was 4hrs and so on. Obviously it’s a HIIT timer for exercise but that feature would result it me deleting like 3 other timers that I’ve tried and are just too darn fancy. It may also broaden the market of the app itself as more than just Health and Fitness, but a Productivity app too!.Version: 2.0.2

95% perfectSimple interface and rock solid performance. Only thing I wish for is the ability to chain different "bits" together to keep a workout fluid. For example I would love to have one "bit" be 20s work, 10s rest, 8x repeat. Then strong a "bit" for 30s work, 30s rest, 4x repeat. Then back to first "bit". Go to Personal Training Interval TimerI’ve used BIT Timer for a number of years now. It is easily customizable and includes great visuals and audios to differentiate work and rest bouts. The dings make it easy to hear change in time even over streamed music. Even with poor eyesight the entire screen is either green while working or red while resting. It is very intuitive!! Fun timer!Simple, well designed timer that works great for sprint or circuit intervals. Real (intense) intervals don't last more than 2 minutes so there is no need to increase interval duration. My issue is with the tones...although high quality they are very quiet. Standing right beside your phone you'd never hear the tones in a gym type setting or on any piece of cardio equipment that would drown it out.
