✓ No gpsHad been using it and found it great at first however it now says it can’t find my location and won’t download a map I’ve used a voucher for as it tells me location services not enabled. I’ve checked and all settings say they are enabled..Version: 7.2.1
✓ Poorly designedI use this app in NYC and there are so many poorly designed details that I would just rather use Google Maps. The map itself is hard to read, due to the color scheme; getting directions to a specific destination is not smooth - it is unintuitive and takes like 5-7 taps (compared to Google Maps which takes 2-3); addresses are not presented in an easy to read format (I don't need the name of the county!); and there's no integration with google maps locations, which means you have to type in the full address of a destination, instead of the name of it. Overall, it seems like it's probably designed for European cities, and that's why some of the nuances of maps/directions are off..Version: 5.0.2

✓ Disappointing, buggy, nice tryDownloaded the app and was hoping for a good experience. Managed to avoid the misleading purchase requests and got it working to try before buying. Did one ride, worked great. Tried to use it again, but kept getting GPS position is unknown error. Google Map had no such problem with my GPS position, and since it also does bike routes for free, I’m not seeing the point of this app. I did try to make a big report through the app, but I also got an error. Oops! Seems like my GPS position isn’t recognized when I choose to only share my location when I’m using the app. I love irony, but not from navigation apps..Version: 7.6.4

✓ Good and room for improvementI've tried this as an alternative to Google Maps in Melbourne. It has its advantages, including the easy, balanced and fast route options; and the optimisation for cycling is apparent because of instructions such as "cross the street onto the bicycle lane". But it often gets roundabout exit counts wrong. Also the fashionable black map interface looks good but is difficult to see. I hope these issues are addressed because I'd like to stick with it..Version: 6.2

✓ Great features but crashes phoneI loved this app- for about 5 minutes. After navigating for a couple of miles, enjoying the turn by turn directions and route options, I noticed the battery had gone from 70% to 25% within a few minutes. Just about made it to my destination. Charged phone up, same thing happened on return. Bizarrely when I plugged the phone in it came on immediately at about 20% both times. Basically the app is unusable, sadly, as in principle it's great, but drains the battery in minutes..Version: 7.1.6

✓ Sad. Used to be Flawless. No more Navigation, they won’t honour my €20 map purchaseI used to love this app! G**gle Maps would have me cycling all over in wrong directions because of its slow response times. Someone recommended Bike Citizens to me, and it was instant success. I bought the Amsterdam map for €19.95 and was good. Now after switching phones, I’ve gone back to G**gle which works most of the time, and now that I’ve tried to return to BIke Citizens they made changes that make it too difficult and hence useless to me. They aren’t honouring my purchase so I will never spend a cent with them. Google works just fine and free at that. Shame on a company that doesn’t honour legacy clients because it doesn’t benefit them financially..Version: 8.3.0
✓ Used to be brilliant, what’s happened?I paid to download London cycle routes and I used this app A LOT. Now the user interface is cranky, I can’t see my cycle routes anymore and it basically useless. It seems to be geared to the same kind of people who use Strava? ✓ City to city navigation doesn’t workDownloaded maps for Gold Coast and Brisbane. However the app isn’t able to calculate a route from Brisbane to Gold Coast which are adjacent cities. Very annoying..Version: 7.3.3

✓ Routing algorithm needs improvementEven after the recent overhaul, the biking directions this app produces often make no sense. They route me down side streets with tons of stop signs. They tell me to cross busy streets at unsignalized locations. They take me way off course just to ride on random paths on the sides of busy roads..Version: 8.0.1
✓ Decent routes, but product not ready for usersI tried using the app in Brisbane, Australia, but ended up reverting to google maps. I think the routes are ok - but the quality of the experience is really lacking. The voice quality is really primitive, and it doesn’t say street names - only ‘turn left’ for example. Also not many street addresses are listed so unless you know of nearby landmarks to navigate to, pretty useless. Love the idea, but needs work....Version: 7.3.1
