✓ Lost most of my important contactsDeleted my husbands details among other important contacts. Kept on putting them back in and then they were deleted again. Finally put 2 and 2 together and deleted this app. Now I have my contacts intact - luckily I have two phones and was able to copy to my main phone when I couldn’t find a contact. Merging just deleted half the info, or the whole contact. Yes I’m getting duplicates again, but that is better than losing info completely! Can not understand the rave reviews. ✓ Apple, this is a big SPAM. People beware!This app is a big spam and fraud! Avoid. I’m using the pro version, gave it access to my address book, it keeps you busy at the beginning with pop ups asking for permissions. When I was done, it didn’t show neither local nor cloud contacts I have! And when I opened the settings I found out that it automatically took a “BACKUP” of my contacts. Where?! You’d imagine to your iCloud, right? No, to their own cloud instead. There’s a toggle to switch it off, but it’s already done. The damage is done. Could you stop it? No, because it keeps you busy with the permissions pop at the beginning and the so called “BACKUP” to their severs is the “DEFAULT” option right when you start the app. So you can do nothing about it. I’ve bought it because of the high ratings and good feedback, to use to find the duplicate contacts in my address book, which is the main purpose of such app. Did it deliver? No, it didn’t work neither on my iPhone nor on my iPad Pro. It shows the number records I have locally and in iCloud but doesn’t show the records and doesn’t find duplicates. Simply says 0. Did I lose anything? Yes, on top of the fees, time and nerves, they uploaded my entire address book (BACKED UP to their own servers). Apple, you are the symbol of privacy and security. This app is a big fraud and it steals users data and money with nothing in return. It doesn’t even work to find and merge duplicate contacts. Users, avoid, avoid and avoid..Frank Aw.Version: 13.2

✓ Changes don’t saveI really thought this was going to fix my horrific IOS / iCloud duplication issues. And it did. But the saved changes don’t last. My contacts list is now the same as it was. ✓ NO BACKUPS!!I did a backup of all my contacts which was successful. I then tried merging the duplicates but a lot of them disappeared or didn’t merge at all. I’ve now tried going to my backup to do what it’s intended for and restore all my contacts but there is no backup option anywhere in your app. I can see others have the same problem so this is a wider issue and ongoing for a while now. Why allow people to still download your app and backup their contacts if you don’t provide a way to get these back when your app fails to do what it was intended to do?.Dgigs76Version: 10.2

Also ended up with huge quantity of phone numbers at the end of my contacts that weren’t there before. They seem to come from my ‘Outlook’ account, which must have been automatically collecting them from emails. Not sure what to do with them. ✓ Deletes Notes Section of All Contacts & can’t RestoreThis app seemed great. Except when I merged the duplicate contacts it does not keep all the fields- I know for sure that the “Notes” section gets deleted, and there could be other fields as well who knows. The Notes section gets deleted even if both contacts had notes. So it seems that the app is creating a new contact instead of keeping the most complete contact and updating it with info that does not match from the other contact being deleted- which would be a much better approach and help to reduce this problem. I write important notes in the contact field so this is really bad, I would rather have duplicate contacts than lose important info. Also, before it merges the app backs up your contacts. And there is a section in the app that allows you to Restore from this backup. BUT the back ups do NOT have the Notes section either so the back up for this issue is useless and gives you a false sense of comfort to do the merge. If you had this same problem and sync to Exchange then go to your Deleted Items (or Online your Deleted Contacts) and restore from there. Took a lot of wasted time but I got my contacts back, but with more duplicates now!.KevinReza82Version: 13.2

✓ Quite Good, Then Rather DisappointingThe app works well the first time it scans your contacts — especially if you have a relatively large database and have not used any similar product previously. It catches most everything and makes it relatively easy to clean up duplicates, delete useless records, etc. That said, I have two major pet peeves. First, the app counts any record that has the same phone number as another record as a duplicate record. The suggested solution— to combine the two records into one or delete one of the records — is not helpful. In most cases, it’s a situation where a couple shares a phone number so it’s in each of their records. I want to keep both records as they are. I don’t see an option to do that so the same records keep showing up as duplicates, and keep wanting me to choose between merge or delete. I think there is something I’m missing because there just has to be a way to deal with this issue in the app. But I can’t find it and, my second pet peeve, Support has never responded to either of my requests for help with this issue. So there may be an easy way to deal with it in the app, but if there is, Support is not interested in sharing that information with me..TimothyCVersion: 13.1

✓ Won’t merge email addressesPretty much did the trick the first time through w/phone numbers and contacts, and then said there are 14 duplicate emails. “Merge” was ghosted out, so I had to select each one manually. Tedious, but OK. Clicked “merge” and it said it had merged 14 emails — but when I went back to the interface, it showed 0 duplicate contacts, 0 duplicate phone numbers, but 14 duplicate emails. ✓ Wiped out information, undo does not workWorst app ever! Years of date I’d saved in my contacts lost!!! Account numbers, recodrs on phone contacts. All gone!!! The reviews for this program great in so I figured I’d give it a shot. After running the merge function I found my notes in the contacts were wiped clean. I then attempted to undo the merge action but that function does not work. Data now lost. I wish there were some way to make the programmer who did such a terrible job of checking their work to suffer and feel remorse. ✓ Tries very hard to get you to buy more stuff, even with proI wanted to backup the contacts to my Dropbox account but couldn’t do this until I sighed up for a free account on the developers system. They now are sending me junk emails. Plus when I turn off the automatic contact backup feature ( which appears to cost more as it is a subscription) it looks like something is wrong ( red banner icon, red switch in off position and language in the confirmation that makes it sound like having this off will be really bad). I feel manipulated and annoyed. Finally, when you view a contact there is no way to get back to the same place in the directory. Very difficult to cull my address list manually since I need to look at the details before deleting. Really wish I hadn’t purchased this product..Jtrom345Version: 9.0

✓ From 5 to 1 Sta update ——So far so goodI ran the contacts cleanup first to see how things go with this app. It was simple, str straightforward and seemed that my contacts were in good shape they found duplicate emails and got rid of the extras same thing with phone numbers and entire contacts. Phone numbers that had no contact name it prompted me to clean those up as well and I was quite happy I gave the app a five star rating but decided to come back and reevaluate in a few days. Today I noticed a bunch of duplicate back in my contacts. When I open my contacts to see what was up, it was back in the exact same situation it had been before I ran this app. The app is still here, it shows it has done those cleanups, but it’s back in the same state it had been previously. I don’t know what happened, why this occurred but that’s not a acceptable from my perspective. ✓ Poor settings, OK Cleaning, privacy questionable.Easy cleaner The merge to the name loses information. If I say acme insurance John Smith and John Smith I want the longer one. You're not offering a choice and just throwing away important details. In another case you are choosing two different companies because their name is a similar product. That's not useful at all. Not every pizza place is the same company. You're finding contacts that are not in my contact list. So I suppose you're going beyond what I have on my phone. A bit strange. It turns out the sources of contacts and settings are strange. Very limited settings. The names of the databases it was using don't match what I use. There was a data sharing option check mark that I could turn off. So if you do use this you need to go in and stop the automatic sharing of your data for other purposes. I'm unsure if you are taking contact information from me and using it other than for performing the function I want. ✓ Duplicate Contacts removed in 5 minutesI thought I would have to spend hours removing duplicate contacts. Every contact in my address book was duplicated in a recent upgrade. The app removed 1,439 contacts in less than 5 minutes!. This was a joy, plus it was free. However, after using my phone/contacts list for a day, I realized that all my “Notes” had disappeared.
