✓ LOVE the update!I am in love with the updates to all 3 of your apps! What a change! They went from almost one-dimensional, flat effects to multi-faceted, layered spaces to create almost anything. Despite adding many features from each app to all the apps, it is still quite clear what the purpose is for each app. Alien Sky has always been my favorite of the 3 and the one I use most often. Now, it's a tougher choice about where to go first. I head to Alien Sky, of course, if the effect I'm after is out of this world. The choice of tools in this (and each) app seems to have multiplied by a thousand. Alien Sky already had the most to offer; now, I feel like a kid in a candy store when I use it! What adding the extra features from the other apps did most is to create workspaces that feel familiar and to make all 3 apps seem to work like members of a team. It increased the ability to identify your apps just by using the workspace, leading to an increase in cohesiveness among all 3 apps. Most of all though, it gives users some mighty powerful tools that they quickly become familiar with and are able to use more effectively and with greater speed. The results in at least what I'm creating is light years apart from what I used to be able to accomplish with these apps. All 3 apps used to be relegated a rarely used, highly specialized folder. ✓ Why I have an iPadThese brain fever apps are quite literally why I have an iPad , have a galaxy s2 for drone work (brighter screen) but the subtle creativerty these apps allows means I had to have them ! Once you get into how to use them , and the depth just keeps going , then you find that your able to take a photo while out that you wouldn’t look twice at , bring in to these apps and turn it into something that can hang on a wall . And that’s with out enhancing a good picture . They are my favourite set of apps by far . Support is great ,always listening to suggestions and development is improvements , not just updating for the sake of it . Alien skies , Skylab , reflection , lens flare , circular are all must haves for any creative digital image photographer . Can’t recommend any of these apps enough . Treat your self and get creative ! For a one time purchase you get the full works. Another plus ; I won’t buy subscription apps ,well worth buying the full package and if you think not , you haven’t discovered the full capabilities of them yet. There should be a sharpness feature for the effects and a way to either zoom in more, or bring a feature where you can soften the edges of an effect. When I have my photo loaded and then go to select the effect, they are all upside down to choose from although they place on the photo correctly. I an using this app on the iPad 3, so perhaps that is the problem. I have LensFlare and LensLight and they work correctly. ✓ EnjoyableIt’s fun to use but can be difficult due to glitches. There’s no button to lock a layer down. You have to add another layer and then delete the second one in order for the first one to get locked down. Occasionally when zoomed into your picture to do fine detail work, you’ll be unable to zoom back out. Frustrating. Other times the app just crashes. The instruction page isn’t very informative. Sure some will look stupid if u just throw a giant Jupiter on your image, but if you take time to get the colors and tone correct it looks jaw droppingly realistic. One concern is most of the objects require a very dark background or blue sky background (in which case the objects show up white-ish like the moon) so it is harder to do more creative edits on multicolored bright backgrounds or overlaying other objects. There is a good set of celestial effects you can add, from auroras to shooting stars. You won't find any spaceships, which is a bit of a shame. So anyone wanting the Death Star will be disappointed. ✓ One little thingOne of the greatest iPhone app ever!i use lens flare on my Mac too also in after effects from videocopilot everyday!very big fan of them!only one little thing that also have LensFlare app that how you move the effects around in the app!(flares, planets...)it gives me a hard time placing the effects into the right positions where I want to!i always have to put my finger on the pics where I want the effects but how can I do that easily if I don't see the exect spot under my finger...?instead like space paint app that my finger can be wherever on the screen and just push the effect into the right spot so I see exactly where I want it! ✓ Pretty coolThis app is a lot of fun but the biggest problem I have for so many pictures I try to use this on is that the opacity of the moons and stuff cant be full strength. Meaning that if I put a moon on a light sky it disappears. It's still transparent. I wish you could make them solid for certain images. I have just about all of the apps they make and the lens effects and textures are all the same between them. I think the $2.99 ones are a little pricey. All in all they create pretty cool effects and I'm glad I bought them. They Don't look cheap. Edit, there is a way to make the planets opaque which is great! Might have always been there and just hadn't found it. I ended up buying all of the apps he makes. They are all high quality and do great things. It's nice you can send an image you are working on from one app to another really easy. I've made some really cool stuff with all these apps.
