✓ Best integrated meal planning, recipe and shopping list appThis app has been a life changer in my family and well worth the small subscription fee for the amazing extra features. This app has it all - with the ability to reorder shopping lists to suit the grocery store layout (nothing worse than having to walk back to get something from aisle 1 when you’re in aisle 10), have multiple grocery lists (for different stores or events), add new recipes, add items to your grocery list from your recipes with a single click, add recipes to your weekly meal planner, reorder the meal planner, plan for as many meals a day as you want, integrate your weekly planner with your calendar (eg iOS), share everything with the family (so they can’t say they didn’t know and it gives them some responsibility for menu and shopping planning), and much more. I actually look forward to meal planning for the week and finding new recipes to add because it’s efficient and there’s never any glitches. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have the ability to add new items to the grocery/ingredient dictionary so I don’t have to manually type out exotic ingredients I use regularly. That’s right, I’ve become so lazy due to your awesome predictive dictionary that I want the ability to add my own so I can practically automate this entire aspect of the app! ✗ Must upgrade to a subscription in order to use watchFirst, a subscription makes no sense for this app. Second the subscription is ridiculously priced. And third, you can’t even use this on your watch without the subscription. Useless App..Version: 5.7
✗ Can’t bulk save items to favourites to easily create a templateI’m trying this app because I have my shopping list in notes and have to manually tick and untick items to show what we need. But it means scrolling through the entire list in the supermarket to see what items are unticked. What I need is a master list template, from which I can create the shopping list for each week, which invariably differs from week to week. From my limited knowledge of this app I think the way to do that is to bulk add items, which I love, then individually favourite each item, which is tedious, especially as I have a repetitive strain injury. The other option would be to create a list, call it template, then create a new list with the days date and browse. Except the browse function only allows for favourites and recent items or starter lists. I guess the only way to create a template is as a starter list? Except when I tried to do that, there was no option for bulk import. Help!.Version: 5.23
