✓ App is PERFECT for Grammar, Math, Vocab, & Read CompThe school I was applying for only tested on these 4 subjects to enter the program. And I have to say that this app is vital to passing the test. (Especially if you’ve been out of school for 2 decades or more!) Do yourself a favor and purchase this app if your looking to pass the Hesi for a school that only test on these 4 subjects. You’ll pass, hands down! Sorry, didn’t have to take the other test so I don’t know. FYI.Version: 6.7.3
✓ Study prep for HESI A2So far I’ve been studying for 3 days from the in app purchase (which I also highly recommend) and it’s been amazing! At first I was freaking out because I had no clue (for the most part) what the answers were. I kept studying even though I felt discouraged. I studied the explanation(which they also provide) and now I’m scoring 85-91 average on the HESI practice exams. So happy I stumbled across this app. It’s not only a refresher but also gives me confidence and hope for the real thing..Version: 6.7

✓ Great study tool!I decided to buy the premium version after being told how much it helped in preparing for the HESI Admission Assessment and it definitely does! You have more questions to practice from and you can customize your tests so you focus on specific subjects instead of all 8 subjects. It may be a little expensive but it’s definitely worth the money if you want to pass your test!!.Version: 6.4
✓ Worth the buyPassed my Hesi A2 today only using this app. I feel like it prepared me enough to pass the exam with an 86.5! I only need a 75%. I underprepared for the grammar, vocab, and comprehension so that’s where I scored the lowest. The first time I took the hesi i failed the chemistry part so thats what I focused on the most. This app really does help you a lot. there were some questions on the actual hesi that I did not see on this app such as finding the right balanced equation for chemistry. ✓ Good App (paired with the Elsevier book)So, I only needed to take the Reading, Math, Biology, and Chemistry portions of the HESI exam. This app in conjunction with the HESI prep book by Elsevier really helped me a lot. I ended up getting a 94.5 cumulative score. 100 on the Biology, 92 on the Chemistry, 96 on the math, and 90 on the reading. That being said do not expect to see the questions on this app on the exam. The exam tests your critical thinking so, the app combined with the book gives you all the basic knowledge you need but, you need to apply that knowledge on the test. It is also important to note that if you took bio and chem (or whatever courses match with the exam sections you are taking) and then you study with the prep book and app, you should be fine. But, be warned the chemistry section was very random and the prep was only slightly helpful. I highly recommend going over the periodic table properties thoroughly. I knew the biology so well because I just took Microbio prior to the test and had a huge biology review in the course. The prep and app are GREAT for the math and reading though. All the being said, I studied for only 2 weeks and got these scores so, this is a great resource!.Version: 6.7.9

✓ Passed the HESIThis app really helped me study for the HESI! I passed each section with 80 or above making a 92 on the biology section. The only section I didn’t make an 80 was the vocabulary were I made a 76. I loved the daily question feature & the explanations that were given. The app as a whole was really HELPFUL. ✓ It got me by!Overall, I love this app. This was my only way of studying (along with a few other resources online) since I scheduled my exam too early before I could order a book to study by. I passed math with a B (the main thing I was worried about), and I feel that it was the most on point with the actual HESI exam. However, the A&P I made a 72 on and the passing requirement is a 75. However, I do know that most colleges only require a 70, so if you’re in my position you will most likely pass! Once again, I love this app. I do wish the A&P was a detailed as the exam though. ✓ A helpful review on passing the hesiI took the hesi a total of two times. The first time I took the exam I was not prepared at all. Here are my scores the first time: Math:70 Vocab:78 A&P:76 Grammar:86 Reading:88 I needed an 80% to get into my schools nursing program and to see these scores really was painful. So I had a second opportunity to take this exam and it was my final shot. I only had to retake math, vocab, and A&P. I used this app, plus a very special quizlet (Hesi A2 prep saint Thomas, ask to join) and the cliff notes quick guide for anatomy book plus a dash of crash course videos and as a result got Math: 90 Vocab:94 A&P:100 This app alone or any of the things I mentioned alone will not help you but them combined will guarantee you get high scores. This app truly primed me on how to prepare for the exam and refreshed a lot of material I hadn’t seen. I will always recommend this app in conjunction with other study materials to future pre nursing students..Version: 6.7.3

Just to point out to the developers... there are 6 states of matter not 3 like the question said there was (Solid, Liquid, Gas, Plasma, Bose-Einstein Condensate, Fermionic condensate). Just saying... ✓ Worth every penny!!To be honest, I was hesitant to spend the money on this app. I took the Hesi last month and while I did very well on most sections, I barely passed A&P.....75% was needed and I scored a 76%. You are allowed to take the exam twice for my school so I rescheduled and stumbled across pocket prep. Using this app and only this app, I went thru all 1,500+ questions over and over for about a month. Went in this week to retest and scored a 96%!!! Couldn’t be happier!!!! ✓ Helped me crush the HESIThe program I’m applying to only requires the math, reading, grammar, and vocabulary sections of the HESI. I used the Elsevier book to review (hadn’t had a math class since...let’s just say it’s been a long time) and purchased this app to practice. I went all in and bought the Cadillac version with tons of questions and don’t regret it for a second. Between the book and this app I scored a 99% cumulative on my HESI. Pocket Prep has been my constant companion since I registered to take my exam a few months ago and I’m a little sad to delete it from my phone, but I owe it a debt of gratitude. ✓ For funOnly downloaded app to use to jiggle my brain cells. Am not taking a nursing qualification. Am amazed at how hard it can be. Had a go at doing mixed questions... Ouch, hard. The grammar questions are technical, you will need to know terminology, I would recommend this app for ANYONE who just wants to keep up a good level of knowledge in maths, English, and sciences. So much better than using a Nintendo brain training game! Oh.. And expect it is a really useful study aide for those folks doing a medical type qualification.Version: 2.0

I took this test back in January and that was a mess, I studied with this program more and wrote down the notes from questions I got wrong and it taught me so much more. I felt so much better walking into this test than I did the first time and it showed!!! The sections covered on my exam were math, reading, and AP. ✓ Good on the go !Used this app to help me prep for my HESI exam for Nursing. I was really having a hard time with anatomy because the test would pull really random questions for just 30 questions on our exam. This app helped to cover most of the different anatomy questions. Any questions I really had trouble with I just screenshot and memorized. Another suggestion: screen shot any questions you really had trouble with or had no idea what it was. Overall the app was easy to use and helped me gauge which subject I had trouble with which was anatomy and Math. English and Vocab was also on my test and this app helped since the physical prep book a friend gave me was pretty outdated and like 60% reliable when it came to Anatomy and Math....Version: 6.7
✓ HesiUsed this app religiously for about a month until it started to freeze on me. Fortunately I finished every question in the test banks before the freezing started to happen. Totally worth the money though, 90% on reading, 86% math, 86% grammar, and 86% on vocab! You will need the hesi assessment version 4 for new vocab words! Use the book and the app and you'll be fine! ✓ Glitches But I passed w/93!I used this app the months leading up to my exam (along with the HESI Elsevier book, McGraw Hill Book & App) and I got a 93. My score break down is at the bottom. The app glitches like crazy but it really was the best for studying and being prepared. The other apps I used were WAY too in-depth and made me nervous. My average score in the app was 88% (I mainly used it for sciences). My last science classes were over 6 years ago so this really helped with review. Buy the full version. If it starts to freeze I just deleted the app and redownloaded it and it would work smoothly for a little bit. Frustrating but so worth passing. ✓ It’s a great study tool but it keeps crashingI love this app. I take my HESI in a little over a week from now. This app has helped me to study but it keeps on crashing. I’ll be in the middle of taking a practice quiz and it will just crash it of the blue and I’ll lose my progress. Other than that, this app is a great study tool. Update: I took my HESI today and I passed with a 92 overall! Reading was an 88, grammar was a 90, math was a 94 (most similar to test), and A&P was a 96 (somewhat similar to the test). ✓ My updateWell, I will have to take back my initial review of this app, it wasn’t very fair. I have taken the exam and happy with the result. I made 90 and above in all sections except for Reading where I made 84. I will say it helped me because it gave me the opportunity to practice all I have studied, especially because most of the questions were based on the Evolve study guide. ✓ Perfect app for practice but just one problem.With the purchase of the app, you’re given over a thousand practice problems that are very useful and give explanations for answers. I like how you can even create your own custom exams of up to 100 questions given any subject that you would expect on the HESI as well. My only problem with this app is that the screen would occasionally freeze, and I would constantly have to close and reopen the app. Please fix this because it’s SUPER annoying..Version: 6.5.7
✓ Don’t even question if you need this—- you need thisI really loved using this app to review for the HESI 2A. I focused on just answering these questions and looking at the answer explanations they provide then supplementing my reading with my own old text books or online searches. I was able to get a cumulative score of 92.4% after studying for about a month and a half (while working and taking classes). The app was really helpful because If I wanted to really sit down I could use the platform on the computer or if I was commuting I used it on my phone. ✓ Passed my HESI A2 with a perfect score!I don’t typically write reviews, but I have to say I am extremely impressed with the app. I only had to take the math and English composite parts of the HESI A2, but with that being said I was able to score 100 on all sections. This is a wonderful way to review for the HESI A2. I bought the lifetime access because it really isn’t expensive when you consider that buying a physical book would cost nearly the same. ✓ Great app, don’t expect same questions on actual examThis app is great and helped me tremendously in my preparation for the HESI exam; I scored higher on the actual exam. I used this app faithfully for weeks, and would recommend it to anyone. However, there’s one important thing that I should mention: Absolutely none of the questions from the HESI app appeared on the actual HESI exam, as I was expecting. I was a bit surprised, actually. Also, in terms of app performance, everything works great except for switching between tabs. For whatever reason, the app is very slow to load some information. I found that to be the most frustrating part. Great app though..Version: 6.7

For Anatomy I did learn a thing or two with the help of the app, however it is very important to study intensely for this portion using outside resources such as college Anatomy textbooks and videos. ✓ Wonderful prep!I highly recommend this app for HESI A2 prep. I exclusively used this app to study and I scored an average of 93.5. My highest score was in vocab, 98, and lowest in reading was 90. My A&P was 92, math 94. I may have studied a total of 4 hours. Because of my score I was chosen for an interview and continue the process of applying. If you have to take the test you have to try this app. I downloaded it but didn’t pay for the upgrade until closer to my test. I used the version that only lasts for a certain amount of time.
