Astronomy Magazine for Positive User Reviews
โ Like itIt's a good magazine if your on the go..Version: 7.10.2
โ Problems with June 14 versionI have been an astronomy magazine subscriber for years, and this app has been great. I'd say, it was a five star app. The June 14 version though does not even open on my iPad 3, running iOS 9.3.5, which is the latest apple has developed for the iPad 3. Please fix it, I have no other way to contact you. Thanks. Update: I deleted the app and reinstalled it and it works fine. So back to five stars..Version: 3.3
โ Great app!! ๐๐๐I used to subscribe Astronomy magazine and Sky and telescope in print. This app is extremely awesome๐. I noticed Sky and Telescope app has undesirable reviews...I'll probably wait til app is fixed ๐.Version: 3.1
โ AwesomeThis app is the best app EVER!!.Version: 7.3
โ A magazine and appThis is a true science magazine, with informative articles and of course great pictures, as well as great ads for the amateur astronomer (yes I said great ads! And yes Iโm a real user). Itโs great to find out whatโs going on in the sky now, learn about some of the latest science, and to wonder at the universe. I've been an iOS user since the original iPhone in 2007. I tried the newsstand magazines back when they first came out. I was not impressed. I've recently started checking them out again and am glad to see they've come a long ways. The Astronomy app works great. It's just like flipping through the real magazine, which I have subscribed too since I was a kid. It's nice to have it with me to read articles while waiting around somewhere. For those complaining about the workings of the newsstand, (i.e. download a magazine app, download and browse through the free issues, then subscribe if you like it) it did take some getting used to for me also. Also, since different companies make mag apps in the newsstand, the experience is different for each company. However, it does seem to be getting more consistent. As far as those complaining about the cost of the subscription, give me a break and grow up to the real world. These specialty magazines cost a lot to create and we have to pay accordingly. When you grow up you will realize that the โfreeโ (or more likely, stolen) idea, is the wishing of children who donโt understand how the world works..Version: 7.10
โ Just as advertisedThe app is free, kids, but you still have to buy the magazine to have the magazine. They should just delete the bad reviews where people don't understand how magazine apps work. In this case it's a magazine about science, so if you can't figure out the app, the content is probably wasted on you anyway. For everyone else: it's Astronomy magazine! How cool is that?.Version: 7.10
โ You do have to pay for the subscription....the app is free, content is not.Exactly the same as the newsstand edition. Still my favorite astronomy rag after 25+ years. The nice thing about digital is no worrying about storage and keeping them from getting ruined!.Version: 7.10.2
โ Lazy people these days...Why doesn't everyone who's complaining, you know, actually do something? There is a button "app support" prominently displayed RIGHT NEXT TO THE "WRITE REVIEW" BUTTON. And if you really don't feel like writing that long review, than go to the website. Don't waste your time writing nasty reviews. I understand what everyone means, because I subscribe the magazine, too, but I'm sure most people have 2 minutes to spare to send the app makers an email that says "I subscribe to this magazine, here's my proof that I do, so let me be able to download magazines from my iPod." Not so difficult, is it?.Version: 7.10
