✓ Love it! It could be betterI love this app! It is an essential part of NT Greek study. I only wish there were a few improvements. - the Greek word and definition can be a but lower on the screen. It feels like it’s on the margins. - there needs to be a way to move back and see the Greek word again. I’d love reinforcement after seeing the English word..Version: 2.4.1

✓ Great for study!This app was just what I was looking for. Great for studying. I don't miss those wads of flash cards in my pocket. Worth every penny. That being said... I wish there was a way to put together just the words I'm struggling with so I can go through only them. As it is, I have to go weed through over 600 cards each tim I study. And if I take too long of a break while studying, I have to start all over. Also - even when I choose not to have the words read aloud to me, I am still kept from listening to music while I study. ✓ Great way to practice Greek vocabularyI have never had any trouble with crashes. I am using this to study my vocabulary while working through Mounce's BBG. ✓ You will not be disappointedI’m going into my second semester of Greek at Freed-Hardeman University and this app is amazing. It is great when you only have a few minutes and need to freshen up on your vocabulary. The words are used in Bible passages and there are word pictures to help you remember. I like that there is audio for correct pronunciation. I have physical vocabulary cards as well but I find myself using the app much more..Version: 2.0

✓ Good app, needs work.Overall a very useful app for working on vocab for Greek. Doesn't have the Aorist forms of verbs, though, so be cautious of that. Additionally it would be nice if the makers made an update to save the previous settings as well as add more functionality when working through the flashcards (i.e. saving flashcards that need to be studied more or creating one's own set of flashcards to view)..Version: 1.1.3

✓ Essential for learning Koine GreekThis app is incredible. Save yourself the time of making flashcards, and get this app. The memory devices are amazing, and the ability to select chapters from textbooks or the NT is a huge time saver. I could not have passed my seminary NT Greek courses with this app. Two things I wished it had: 1) While it does glitch every once in a while, it has never interrupted me when I am studying; it has only ever glitched when selecting chapters or grammar books. 2) it would be over the top awesome if it showed the stem of the verbs. But even with those two things missing, I still unequivocally give this app 5 stars. Absolutely worth it.Version: 3.1

✓ Good app overallHonestly, the interface is pretty clunky on both this and especially the parsing app...the design needs an overhaul. Also the app takes unusually long to load. However, I find the option to select the exact frequencies you want to work with helpful and much better than other available iOS flashcard options. ✓ Highly recommended!I use this for the Baugh vocab. So great! I write out the cards too for studying in my room, but when I'm out and have a free second, I use this app! Definitely recommended! Update: To those complaining about struggling in Greek because this app keeps crashing: it's not the app's or the developer's fault that you aren't learning the material! The secret to learning a language is not a good app, but to sweat...until you BLEED! Brothers, put in the hard work and write out flash cards - there are other ways to learn....Version: 1.0.4

✓ The best Greek flashcard app.I've tried them all. This one offers the whole package! You can now compile words as they appear on NT books as chapters! I've been waiting for this to come out. It's so awesome to be able to study all rare vocabulary that occurs only jn Galatians or any other book. ✓ Great app with minor imperfectionsGreat app that greatly aids in my self-study of New Testament Greek! However, I have a few suggestions. I use Merkle and Plummer’s Beginning With New Testament Greek, and the meaning of the vocabulary that this app give often differs slightly from the ones in the textbook. I can understand that you might have different opinions than they do, but it would be a lot less confusing if the gloss would all be the same. Also, the app is missing a word from chapters 3 and 14 (oti and pino [sorry, I don’t have a Greek keypad]). Other than these small imperfections, this is a great app!.Version: 3.1
✓ Best Koine Greek app out there.This is the most comprehensive Greek app out there. I purchased several apps before this one and one of the best features is how it sorts the information. It works with several popular Greek textbooks so I could follow along with the lessons in my Wallace textbook, it also sorts vocab by frequency used in the Bible so I could learn that way and even more astounding it sort by book of the Bible. So even now, two years outside of Greek class I use it to refresh before I translate. For example, I choose all words with 50 or less frequency in 2Peter, Chapter 2 and review the flash cards before I translate. This app is amazing and helps me to continue to grow outside of the classroom. I cannot speak highly enough about it..Version: 1.1.4
✓ Very useful appI really found this app great for assisting with memorization. I would suggest that they include the aorist verb forms to make it more useful. ✓ Excellent App for Greek Students.Flash Greek app for iPod/iPhone is saving my life (and grade) in my Greek course at Brite Divinity School in Fort Worth, Texas. We're using the Croy text, and this app is my lifesaver. It helps me fully participate in the class, and I can always study on the go or whenever I have some spare minutes. The audio component is excellent, allowing you to hear the words. The illustrations are sometimes cheesy, but they serve a purpose, and you won't forget the words when it comes time for a test. Danny, the developer, is responsive to concerns about the app, which makes it even better. I found a couple of missing vocabulary words and wrote Danny, and he was kind to respond - even within minutes. I use the app on my iPhone 5 and iPad 1 (running iOs 5.1). I'd highly recommend this program. You'll save money by purchasing this app vs the notecards that would be required for the numerous chapters. Buy it, use it, and earn a good grade..Version: 1.0.4
