✓ The bizzSupremely addictive fun, great for a blast at lunch, on the bus or on the toilet even haha! It's incredible too that it saves even during iPod lock (merci developers). To sum it up, you pace left and right on a set screen, killing coins and coins buy upgrades. More upgrades, more fame (for the tavern.) its upgrades and modes allow for a lot of multiple playthroughs too. My advice to the developers? Add characters and a different "path"; new enemies, and even a design room for colour changes to your character. It's great, and worth it!enemies and racking combos..Version: 1.1

✓ Beat it with every character meatless!!This is my favorite iphone game of all time I’ve been playing it for years and challenged myself to figure out every character. Here’s a minor knave guide and tier list for all you people struggling out there: S tier - Knave A tier - Archer B tier - Tamer, Ninja C tier - Knight F tier - Wizard You’ll want to play the knave (if you can master the golden shot, play as archer too). This is because coin regenerates health and the knave can create big coins with his ultimate weapon. Get the weapons in this order: stilletto, cinqueda, armor 1, armor 2, armor 3, lucky strike. It’s possible to reach 1 million points and my final level reached was 200! Good luck out there everyone. PS another tip - possessing ghosts as the Tamer allows for coins on every shot. That’s why the Knave, Archer, and Tamer are so high on the list. Coins are the most important thing in the game..Version: 3.0

✓ Best Game Ever!!This game is so good I can’t even explain!! I love everything about it, the music, the graphics. I do have one slight issue however, I understand it is a never ending rpg, but could there be a mode where it could be a story I guess and end at level 100? Of course it would be much harder but... when I beat the dragon and found out the game just kept going like nothing happened I felt a little sad, but I’m not saying to get rid of this!!! ✓ My Favorite GameSlayin has been my favorite mobile game for years. I’ve had three phones since its release, and I’ve unlocked all the characters and extra stuff on each of them. I’ve beat the game plenty of times (well, beat the dragon, don’t think you can really “beat” Slayin), and it’s never gotten stale. I actually plan on majoring in Computer Science next year, and Slayin is a major inspiration for that. It would be an absolute dream come true if one day Slayin got another major update, maybe even a new character. I’d definitely even be willing to shell out a few bucks for an upgrade to support the devs *wink wink*. Thank you for creating such a great game. ✓ Excellent!Brilliant little pixellated game, with a retro feel! Can't say this style of game hasn't been done before, to a certain extent. However, it shines in all it's glory! Shop (in level) items are well-priced, but the overcrowding of enemies can make it hard to continue after level 30. Though, I suppose that's where skill and practice come into play. ✓ Fun, to a degreeI enjoy playing this game every now and again, but I always end up deleting it. The mechanics are rather simple and the starting heroes are easy to get a feel for the game with. I enjoy the bright colors and vibrant scenery, and figuring out how to equip my character is always fun. However, as I gain new heroes I tend to lose interest. They simply don’t feel worth the effort, and even the classics don’t feel as entertaining because every level I have to work my way up again as if there were no improvements. While the mode that allows a later starting level should fix this, I feel that it drops my character into a situation they aren’t prepared for and even if I’m well practiced at the game I die quickly. I definitely enjoy playing, but it eventually loses its entertainment and becomes repetitive instead..Version: 3.0
✓ Great value, great funI love this game and would recommend it as it's massive value for money. Seems like a simple game at first but skill curve is sharp once you get past the 3rd boss. Fun grinding for the fame points to unlock other characters and features. There are in app purchases for the Fame Points but to be frank they are minimal and not needed to enjoy the game if you don't want to pay, it's not pay to play/win. Personally I think the game is at its best once you unlock Ninja and the mode which lets you start the game at level 81 it's easy to grind FP and also loads of big combos are possible. Also the wizard character is good fun if you unlock her early on. Only problem I have is that if you delete the app and reinstall it, there is no option to retrieve progress, so you lose all your game points and unlocks. You keep your high score through the game centre but that's it. However not the end of the world because I'm happy to start playing it again and unlock everything again! Fantastic game well worth the money and good fun to pick up and put down easily. Would be nice to see some extra content added in the future..Version: 3.0
✓ Rather IntriguingLike another reviewer said, it's an 8bit RPG but with a different tone, it's pretty much the title, you just slay heaps of monsters and bosses but as dull as that may seem, it's actually a very fun game. I've had it for close to 4 months now and it's great for when I have some time to kill at TAFE (I don't have a laptop I can take) so I just sit in the library once I've completed my work and play Slayin until my next class. ✓ Please fix the sound!I am hooked on this game. It's addictive, satisfying, and takes skill and practice to perfect. The only problem I am experiencing is that whenever my game is interrupted by any sort of notification (battery, message, etc.), the game pauses, and then once it has resumed the sound stops working properly - as in, the music still plays, but the sound effects are basically muted, which really detracts from the action! If you could please fix this tiny bug I would be very grateful. But, I have uncovered a glitch that puts a tarnish on the otherwise thoroughly enjoyable challenge: if you complete an "adventure", I.e., you finish one of the three tasks, and then defeat a boss perfectly, the game freezes, and you won't be able to collect the medal. One thing, I work a lot on my iPad for photo and video editing and doing computer work for the agency I work with. Every once in a while I need a break of course so it would be nice to be able to just jump into this game and play the game with my remote or even the Magic Keyboard. ✓ $0.99 well spentSlayin is a little game that is shockingly entertaining. It has a surprising amount of replay ability despite its repetitiveness. The game is a some what of a mix between a shoot-em up and an endless runner, with the player being tasked to survive eight consecutive areas with a stage boss fight for each. The repetition comes from having to restart each time you die, and getting back to where you were can take a long time. However I was never too put off by this since there is a quite a bit off variety with the six unlockable characters and the in-level weapon and armor upgrades. It's simply a blast to go through and try to master every character and their weapons. There's also two extra unlockable modes to give the game more content. I was initially a bit worried about the microtransactions being too intrusive, but I never felt pressured into spending more money. Slayin may be short and repetitive, but dang if it isn't one of the best uses for a dollar out there..Version: 3.0

✓ Really fun, Highly Entertaining.So the game starts of and the tutorial tells you how to play, There are 3 buttons: Left, Right and your special move. You start with a knight with a sword and you use left/right to point the sword to slay the enemy creatures the knights special move is to jump so you can dodge others and kill flying enemy. The game it's self is a small rectangular box where creatures come thru' the ground or fall from the sky if you get hit you take damage so you have to be looking where they spawn not only where your killing. Every 10 levels (You kill 'x' amount of enemy to level up) there is a boss who is harder to kill. ✓ Nearly Perfect GameI love this game! I remember it being one of the OG mobile games on the App Store and absolutely adored it when I was a kid. I eventually deleted it to clear up space since I don’t really play games as often anymore. Recently, I went on vacation and had some down time, so I went ahead and gave it another try. Immediately, the controls felt natural and I fell in love with it all over again. The controls are very smooth, the concept is impeccable, and the gameplay is so casual, yet exciting. I can never get enough of it. However, I do have a couple suggestions: I completely prefer the Alt BGM, but the boss and menu music stays the same. The transitions this way are super awkward, so maybe some alternate music for each section could be purchased or something. Also, for Boss Rush mode, it would be cool if between each boss or maybe between every couple bosses, you can meet with the merchant and get some special items specific to the mode. ✓ Fun and Funky gameThis game is definitely worth the 69p your paying for it! It's such a different, retro, manic but fun game and you'll soon find your self in max concentration mode! I've managed to get to level 55 so far and I am just about to buy the wizard, if you think that it will take a long time to buy the other classes, I got 1600 'f' without challenges in my level 55 run so once you start to get the hang of it, it shouldn't take too long! Only thing that I have found bad is that you need to spend most of your money on food or armour to be able to get to a high level when you really want the different weapons! Buy it now..Version: 2.0

✓ Simply greatI don't usually find infinite games worth spending time on but this is one I keep coming back to. The controls are almost perfect (although you can still miss the buttons on occasion) and the gameplay is stripped to a zen like purity(if thats a thing). Yes pixel art is a creative cop out these days but gosh darn it it is still cool. The shop is pointless and purely existing to monetize but hard to begrudge that when the game itself is so honestly crafted..Version: 2.0
