Inkflow Plus Visual Notebook for Positive User Reviews

A fantastic visual app!Just started to use this app - more than just note taking, it is great for creating visuals. I am using it as an alternative to PowerPoint for training presentations. It would get 5 points if it had a proper save to account feature - I am concerned about losing all my work if the app crashes or I lose my tablet..Version: 3.6

Great appGreat app I like doing basic planning applications for tree work so a few shapes like houses or squares even a few tree shapes would be great. But a brilliant user friendly app well done.Version: 4.1

Almost 5 starsOut of the note taking apps i have this one is probably my favorite. It has a nice, clean, uncluttered feel to it. I have tried others like notability that are just plain cluttered and have to much going on to actually get anything done. While this app is my favorite, I have found that when I attempt to print items that i have wrote up to be extremely pixilated. Also I find often that i wish that i had a smaller brush size to work with. Other than those two complaints this app is pretty much just what I wanted in a note taking application, and the best on that I have found. If the programmers fixed those issues then it would definitely be a 5 star app..Version: 1.6

Great appI like doing a bit more than just writing to friends, and this makes it a joy..Version: 4.1

Absolutely brilliantUseful and fun. Worth far more than its price..Version: 3.2

All sorts of usefulI'm a visual thinker and doodler, love being able to draw something then arrange bits just so. I don't feel I have to jump through hoops to achieve something. Ink port is fantastic. I usually start on paper so it means less donkey work!.Version: 3.2

Brilliant!!I lov this app! i use it to design my garden, organise parties, write and illustrate! I wouldnt be witjout it!.Version: 3.8.4

Best streamlined drawing app! Good for medical studentsThis app is for people who doodle more than draw in the formal sense. But it is PERFECT for that. The color palette, writing instrument, and eraser panel is pinball. The lasso tool is smooth and can move and resize images perfectly. The writing is smooth, even and clear. My handwriting is not that great in real life, but in inkflow everything looks amazing. Overall great smooth performance. As a medical student, I use this app everyday to make drawings for presentations and notes!.Version: 3.9

An app that's brilliant ! Hoorah !!!All apps are, in my experience underwhelming, with a small exception of a little cluster of those I have used not being this . This app however is a pure delight and a treat to use..Version: 3.2

Good appRespect to the creator of this app!!.Version: 6.0

Great APPI'm really enjoying this app and helping me feel very creative and getting my ideas out in a creative form.. You can see how I have used it on my Tumblr @jeamesgranger and looking forward to discovering more about this app also other apps created by this company 😃.Version: 4.5

ValueGood basic functions plus great group and copy feature. Stable..Version: 1.6

ICloud? Is this something we can get in a near future upgrade? please! In your next round of updates, please would you consider adding a size changer for the eraser? Would it be possible to type in a percentage of colour on the left side. Choices!!! Fine tuning of colours & brushes adds a lot of appeal and versatility to projects!.Version: 5.4

Great little app!Takes a little getting used to and a few things like moving text around can be a bit clunky but all-in-all great app. If anyone from the dev team is reading this the ability to crop images in app would be really useful!.Version: 3.4

Awesome!!!!I've used a lot of note taking apps, all of them were cumbersome and clunky to some extent, especially with writing (zoom feature required lots of taps to get to, etc). This app blows everything else away... Love that you can grab your text or phot and resize it, move it, or even stretch it! Also love that I can zoom or move the page around and keep writing without having to constantly change tools (app recognizes single finger touch, for writing, vs double finger touch, for zooming or moving page around)...this is such a time saver! Keep up the great work!.Version: 2.3

CrashesIt may be a bug but I just tried changing the pen color on the notebook 3 times and the entire app crashed on me. Please help! Thank you!.Version: 6.7

Great new platform for visual note-taking!I use drawing apps on my iPad to take visual notes and graphic recordings in meetings, workshops and events and run training courses for other professionals in how to do that. I think Qrayon's new app Inkflow has lots of great features and I will be using it and including it in my next course!.Version: 3.6

UltimateThe ultimate note taking machine! Love it..Version: 2.3

Favorite useRead online edition of newspaper. print screen of the crossword puzzle use “insert picture” to get copy of the puzzle into an inkflow page. work the puzzle use highlighting pen to mark any gimmicks and keep track of self referencing clues..Version: 6.0

Excellent!! Best NotepadEasy to use. Keeps hundreds of pages which are easy to find and reorganize on the go. Keep work personal and saves everything. So much better than standard notepad or other notepads that are too complicated. Colors are easy to change and pen size also. Would highly recommend. Well worth the money..Version: 6.2

I love this appSo surprised with interaction! I can guarantee this app can realize your own calligraphy on this app! 💓 Only one feature that I want is, Redo button on GNB! Or relocate erase feature on GNB would be helpful..! I lost date in mistake by tapping 'undo' several times, effect range of 'undo' was not clear for me. But except this, I was really satisfied with the most of features. And also, I have some feedback about user flow!.Version: 5.4

Super UsefulThis helps me brainstorm and work out rough ideas for all kinds of things. There are several features I really like, and it has definitely been worth the cost. Highly recommended..Version: 6.7

Inkflow plusThere’s loads about this app that I love - it’s really easy to use, it does things (or lets me do things) that really help me get organised in my work, and it’s like a publisher programme for a notebook. Amazing! One thing that would make the app even better is an undo button. It’s quite frustrating to only have the rubber for changes because you end up rubbing out stuff you didn’t want to because of the thickness of the rubber. This brings me to the reason for my 4-star review. I upgraded to inkflow plus because I wanted to be able to choose the thickness of my pen, but this function doesn’t work on my iPad Pro. Sometimes, just randomly, the pen will go really thick for a couple of letters, then go back to normal, but I can’t make the thickness change at all..Version: 6.2

Great appGreat app but needs something's like a fill tool And to be able to zoom a bit further..Version: 3.4

Works amazingly and is Highly useful but...I am finding myself using this more and more. It is really good, but could be great. Using it is becoming a ‘double edged sword’. I need a way to organised the note books, like a folder system - without it my iPad Pro 12.9” screen is filling up (which is a good thing as I am using it🙂) looking forward to the future updates - well done..Version: 6.4

For artists too!If you like to doodle, this is what you need! I started off using the free version months back, and I found its simplicity to be the best part about it. Now, I use it all the time as the starting point for all my artwork..Version: 1.6

Wonderful App; but...Inkflow Plus is a marvelous App. Initially I got it because I was searching for an App that could turn my photos into “outline art similar to Coloring Book Pages”. It does this and so much more. I learned about Color Hex Codes and plenty more about color. There’s a really cool eraser tool—you can toggle it to erase just one color !! But...now for the “but...” I just got a new iPad Pro, and the Inkflow App is there, but none of my gallery. It’s start from scratch again I guess...or is there a login that I must do? What should I do?.Version: 6.4

Awesome drawing appIt is crazy how simple this app is. I use it to capture my new ideas and designs with text and initial sketches. Far better than the Notes app. The developer has done great work in Inkflow Plus..Version: 6.4

Qrayon productsQrayon produce excellent products for interaction and scribbling, useful in many situations. Perfect for sketching and taking notes. Imports and exports particularly useful for me..Version: 3.8.6

Great but needs text inputThis is a great app, but it needs a text input. Love it otherwise, very fun and handy..Version: 1.6

Practical, creative, satisfyingThere’s something about the way this app works which pleases me greatly. It’s satisfying. It has turned out to be very useful for quickly sketching a map, diagram or flowchart for someone. But I’ve also used it to doodle creatively, to explore stuff that’s on my mind..Version: 6.4

ScaleA ruler or scale would be extremely useful..Version: 6.4

Great overallI would add some shaped to put in. Sometimes I want to put shapes such as straight lines in to write on it to add to a drawing and I need a perfect circle or line. Would be a good add on.Version: 4.1

The iPad, rediscovered! GET IT NOWI've had my iPad for over a year and am tech-savvy, creative and curious. I've probably installed dozens if not hundreds of apps since getting it. But Inkflow CHANGES THE GAME. My ipad now fills a new function that I never knew it could: something between a blueprint making tool to an endless assortment of postits to the ultimate visual dreamboard. If you've ever made a to-do list, sketched something in order to get your mind going, made a reference collage to preview a visual idea or buy notebooks that then mysteriously become full of doodles and ideas, YOU NEED THIS APP! (A stylus takes it to a new level, too:).Version: 3.7

GreatThis app is AWESOME for brainstorming, composing, and publishing. I even use it for scheduled for my special needs students at school..Version: 3.7

Great App!I love this app. I use it as a weekly planner so that I don't have to waste a bunch of money on a physical one. I love the ability to use custom stationary, as I have designed my own planner pages and this makes it easier to use them. My only suggestion would be, provide the option to use a different stationary for each page. It would allow for more creative freedom in the journals, and would provide an easy way to use different pre-made page layouts as stationary to get maximum usage out of your journal. Thanks for making this amazing app, I hope you consider my suggestion!.Version: 5.4

V.goodMakes note taking easy and enjoyable. A useful app which brings out your creative side..Version: 3.0

A great applicationIf you want to sketch out ideas and play with them to fine tune your thinking, this is a great application! It is friendly, powerful and extremely flexible. I do particularly like the ability to take pictures of manual (literal pen and paper sketches) and further refine them within this application. This is a pure delight!.Version: 4.1

Excellent AppI was looking for a note taking app that can convert whatever notes I take into either a PDF or a JPEG because it's easier to share notes for your friends this way. This app was perfect. I have wasted money on so many apps that aren't clear on what their app is and you only figure it out AFTER you buy it. Im here to tell those who are looking for an app that let's you take very clean notes and lets you convert those notes into a PDF or JPEG, this is the app for you. I guess the only thing this app needs is highlighter feature. I've only had it for a while so I may not know all the features that well. But in conclusion, this is an excellent app..Version: 3.4

Keeps getting better! The latest update is beautiful. Thank you for all the work you've put into this update. Thank you for making my life easier! (iPhone & iPad mini user).Version: 5.4

Great, but can be betterReally good for sketching, but I can't believe there is no keyboard?.Version: 1.5

Quite usefulA bit cumbersome to use this app properly, but it is very useful nevertheless. Ever since I started using it to take my field notes, I gave up on keeping hand-written notes. I can either type in text or write with a stylus. I also insert photos. So that at the end of the day, I have all of my notes & photos in one document. You can also write or draw on your photos, but if you later reposition a photo, the annotations don't move with it. Maybe that's asking too much..Version: 3.7

GreatLove this app, perfect for quick drawings..Version: 4.1

Love this app, but it been crashing lately.Within the last 6 months or so, every time I click to save my file, I have to hold my breath and hope that it saves instead of freezing on a spinning dial. I’ve been losing my work half the time I use this app. Please update!!! I love and need this app!.Version: 6.4

Loving the appI use the app for taking notes for my studies. I love how you can both type, write, draw, and add pictures all on the same page. However I would really appreciate if you can make an update with a cursor button. It's difficult to scroll and move around the page. If you can add this feature on your next update, I will love it more. Thank you..Version: 3.7

Fab app - kids love it too 🙂Really great app, using it to journal gardening progress. Kids too to it straightaway and have done some amazing creations!.Version: 6.0

Love itI am a 'bullet' journellor. I have been searching for an app to replace my written version and I believe I have found it. I would like more colours to be available please. I am loving using this..Version: 5.4

Almost PerfectI was reluctant to purchase the full version but I'm glad I did. So far, I have been using it primarily for designing circuit diagrams. First I created a bunch of symbols, then I copy, paste, rotate, resize and move them around as much as I want. With paper, I would have gone though many sheets or whole erasers revising my work, but not with Inkflow Plus! I'm very happy and I hope the Qrayon team continues to develop it while keeping the interface simple. That said, I would love to see the following features. Group objects using selection tool, then lock them together so you can select them with a single tap, without having to use the selection tool to draw around the object. Useful for creating reusable objects. You could take it further by saving objects to libraries to share the objects between all notebooks & make them available in a drop down from the top toolbar. Place the eraser icon in the toolbar between the brush & selection tool. Draw basic shapes - square, rectangle, circle, oval. If you like the free version of Inkflow, I recommend the full version..Version: 4.0

Best Storyboard Sketch app for presentationsI didn't find this app using the App Store search. It didn't show up on any of my keyword searches. However, google found it and I am very pleased. I was looking for a presentation planner that had the ability to quickly rearrange sketches. This fit the bill. It's easy to use, pages are arrangeable, and I can email pdf's of my "deck" to begin constructing my final PowerPoint slides. My only beef is the limitation of pen colors. I don't get that. I would like to see at least some breadth of choice there. Are you listening ink flow?.Version: 1.6

Brilliant! After originally downloading the free version, I loved it so much that I thought the developers deserved my support, and I downloaded the full version! Now I love it even more! The extra features are extremely helpful and it's so easy to use! No more messy handwritten notes for me! It's made my exam revision much easier to handle and is also great for doodling! Thank you for a great application! Money well spent..Version: 4.0

Thanks - I love it!By far the best and most enjoyable app ever. Easy to export files in one of 3 different formats<inlc. PDF + JPEG> and to choose a file size. Really intuitive and not overloaded with useless functions. Actually, on second thoughts, it might be cool/useful to have a gallery with stick men, some basic shapes+arrows, post its..Version: 3.7

Great appI've tried a whole bunch of sketch apps for business use and this one was by far the best. Love that I can I import and modify my physical drawings, and erase one color layer at a time. Exactly what I need. Features easy to find and easy to use. Thanks!.Version: 4.5

Qrayon for the win!I love all of these apps! So helpful and never any issues. oh also....in Vittle...we need a text feature, pleaseeee <3.Version: 6.4

What fun!How to be creative on the fly: Step 1, download Inkflow Plus Visual Notebook. I know this is a basic step, but ENABLE DICTATION on your device! You won't have to type in any of your text! The app is very intuitive and picks up every word I say correctly, then it is typed in for me. I can then manuver the text to anywhere on my page. I know each item is called a book, but you really CAN create a book with this app! Speak all your story ideas to text, arrange them on the pages, add photos or drawings, saves very well as a .pdf file, and there you have it- an ebook! Or create your personal journal. I am following on Twitter and already have gotten some great tips/ideas from others sharing their info as well. This app is worth the money, such a useful tool !.Version: 4.3

Is Qrayon still in business?I’m a big fan of Inflow and Cardflow, plus editions, but there doesn’t seem to be much activity in the apps via new features or updates and on the Qrayon site itself. Which is a shame. These were once indispensable apps. Even so, the apps as is, are still functional and better than most, just old and lacking..Version: 6.2

Most used appI use this app daily for everything: brainstorming, work projects, general task lists, grocery lists, ideas, goals, manifestation, diagrams, anything I need to write down I do on my iPad or iPhone. This has replaced my pocket notebooks. I got myself an adonit jot pro to write more precisely and smaller and it has worked out really well. This is a great app and has made everything I do easier because I'm the most disorganized person I know and I forget things in like a minute..Version: 4.1

Easy to useI love sending personal cards, notes, etc. it’s great for a beginner, like me, to figure out!.Version: 6.0

BobExcellent - easy to use, really smooth to "write" on. Only (very minor) quibble - nice to have a "fill" option)..Version: 3.3

LOVE IT LOVE ITVery useful for organising & designing...a great business tool. Thank you!!.Version: 3.4

Love this AppI'm having way too much fun. Brainstorming, silly FB cover pics, separate files for my clients where I can add pics, text, or write with my finger or stylus, diary entries. I'm using Inkflow for everything, and making excuses to use it. Try the free version if you're wary, but I was buying the plus version within 24 hours. Totally worth it!!.Version: 4.1

Works, immediately. This has features I haven't fully exploited yet, but the best thing about this for me is its speed. Got an idea? Open and write in about a second. No set-up, picking canvasses and pens and colours and other options, it's RIGHT THERE. Need more space? Press next page. No interruptions, and you can use the simple colour picking system when you need to. Very occasionally, I have to dismiss the tool/colour bar when I want to scribble, but not frequently enough to cause me to drop a star. So, I use Inkflow PVN and iThoughts. If I need beauty and control (and who doesn't love a little bit of that now and then?), I use Procreate. All others have fallen by the wayside, including Notify, Paper by 53, MS OneNote, ZoomNotes, Notability, Goodnotes, Note Taker HD, Notes Plus, Noteshelf, OverNote and other similar apps. Good. Fast. Versatile..Version: 4.5

❗️Unbelievably AWESOME❗️Getting 5 stars out if me is a difficult thing to do but this far exceeds what I even imagined. I've been looking for an app just to be able to use text, photos, & drawing at once, but to be able to have these in such a usable, feature rich way. Wow! Just the ability to use the select tool & move things around was incredible to me. Great job developers. It was an easy choice to upgrade to the plus version. Even at $7.99 (I'm a spendthrift too) it's a steal. 💟‼️😄.Version: 3.4

Good AdditionsThanks for including photos and text. Now I can keep all my notes in one spot!.Version: 2.0

Simple but perfect in executionThis app is worth is for the Inkport feature alone! It is great being able to have the freedom to work with real paper and continue working in a digital environment. Once you get into it a bit you really start to see the flexibility. That said I do wish that there were some additional paper sizes (like in their other app Vittio). For example, I love drafting in an 11x17 environment. I suppose the tricky thing would be exporting and sharing larger dimensions. Well, maybe the devs will figure that out but either way I am satisfied with the current version of the app..Version: 3.7

ExcellentI have tried many such apps but now settled on this one despite the high cost because it integrates well with other apps from the same developer and has numerous usability advantages. Would be nice and much better if Inkflow offered the calendar template option (as in Notesflow) and iCloud integration else it remains a good but expensive choice for iPhone..Version: 6.4

EXCELLENTVersatile , excellent well thought out App. Thanks.Version: 4.4

Amazing app!I love this app and the feature of importing your own templates to use. I feel like I'll never need a paper notebook ever again. I do with it had an easier writing feature to zoom in and write and it would move for continuous writing. That's the one (big) feature I think it's missing. Other than that, it's great and I use it everyday!.Version: 5.4

I really like this appIt's perfect for business meetings, quick reminders, shopping lists, etc. on my iPad and using a stylus. I personally found that my iPhone 5 was just too small as I would have to stop writing and resize the text of every sentence which really interrupted my train of thought. I would also like a few other paper templates; different sized grids and differently spaced lines - or even special templates such as todo lists, phone message pads, memory cards, or colouring templates for the children to draw on at home. I believe there is an option to import stationary, but I have just started using the app and not delved that deeply into it. I will in future though..Version: 4.1

Syncing Between Devices??I absolutely love this app. It does nearly everything due to being so versatile. Personally, I use it for journalling, sketching, note-taking and planning out projects. However, I do have an issue with it. I cannot for the life of me work out how to sync my work between devices for ease of use. I've googled and googled and it doesn't seem to be a feature Inkflow has utilised. If they add this feature, or make it easier to use if it does exist, then I would be giving this app 5 Stars..Version: 5.4

Great appMakes your iPhone into a Samsung note !.Version: 3.8.6

Better that a lot out thereI did a lot of research and none of the apps do all that I want, but Inkflow Plus does MOST of the things I like well. It's easy to use and it dresses up my Instagram posts so they don't look like everyone else's. I would love to see 1) syncing on my devices!! 2) a larger number of customizable color palette circles, and 3) a way to create a perfect circle, square or triangle like in Paper by 53. Right now I am toggling between this app and that one but if this could do a perfect geometric pattern, I'd ditch Paper..Version: 4.5

Really nice app!I have tried a number of notetaking apps but this is now my favourite. Is easy to use & I love the fact you can do a little sketch, copy and paste it - but also resize it/and or rotate it as well. The only minor gripe I have is that when I change the pen size there are no numbers so if I go between sizes it is guess work to go back to one I have used previously. Other than that - I really like it..Version: 2.0

Great for maths teachersThis app is great! I use it for teaching all my junior school maths lessons. The grid paper option makes it look just the same as the children’s books. My only wish is for a straight line ruler tool as when I draw shapes the lines are a bit wiggly..Version: 6.2

Inkflow plusJust fantastic: easy to use, and so many wonderful features..Version: 6.4

Great app that is at the top for sketch notingReal smooth flowing app Really easy to draw, rotate, move .. Add text etc Fast and fluid makes it practical in use. Good for sketch noting..it has a generally speedy feel to it. Ink port utility is unique and very powerful. Draw diagrams on paper, inkport them and the adjust move around components as needed.. Very nice! Developers are keeping up with the app and several improvements over the years For me the two things that would make 4* (actually 4.5 star), a 5* 1/ The ability to change colour of any selected item.. -> would enable embellishment of notes / drawn objects after they have been drawn 2/ easier sync between iPad and iPhone However is a great app and worth the money Definitely give it a go! +++++ Finally, if best aspects of Inkflow and Vittle were combined with a few general enhancements there would be a truly unique and powerful sketch noting app here .. I'd rather not have to keep jumping between apps.. :o).Version: 5.8

Awesome.This ap works awesome. Highly recommended!.Version: 3.2

A Good OneThoughtfully designed app for writing notes and simple sketching. I've had laryngitis, and it's been great for communicating without speaking. I like that it lets you build a book as a stack of notes and then export or email the book as a PDF. Area selection with free transform and copy and paste are unique features of InkFlow Plus. I upgraded from the free version to gain the ability to delete separate pages. The app could use a richer range of brushes and the ability to change brush size without zooming. Mostly great though!.Version: 1.6

Super useful app, especially since addition of InkportI find this app incredibly useful, especially now that they have added the "Inkport" feature. Drawing figures and doodles on paper with a pencil and then importing them into the app is so much easier than drawing them with my finger on the iPhone. I wish it were possible to fill objects (e.g., to fill shapes you've drawn with a color), but other than that I think it would be hard to improve on this app..Version: 3.4

Loved the free version, adore the pro even more.If you are one of these people who find typing on iPhones or iPad minis unbearable, then this app is for you. I use it for mind mapping, brainstorming, multi task and find that I am so much less stressed as I navigate think tanks, meetings or just work on ideas while sitting in a cafe..Version: 5.4

Wow... Great Update!Awesome update! Stationary and text additions are GREAT! How about shapes, a fill bucket and layers next?!?.Version: 2.0

Used to be great - doesn’t work on iPad Pro 10.5 - no answer to queriesAs stated on the review title, this seems to be fantastic. Are used all the time: designing things, making photo collages, taking notes and more. Unfortunately, since I got my iPad 10.5 inch, it no longer works. The screen jumps around and half the image jumps off the side of the screen. I’ve asked for help but don’t get any answers so, despite having spent £5ish on the app, it’s barely useful anymore. Previously, I told lots of my friends about the app and really enjoyed it so I’m very sad about it..Version: 6.0

ImpressiveI'm really impressed with this app. It has a ton of features and works very well. Also it's super intuitive. Nice job developers!.Version: 4.6

Best Medical School App for notes!!!Hello, I love this app- there are an unlimited amount of colors for the pen. Its amazing. I am in medical school and I am doing a masters in medical science and it has helped me tremendously!.Version: 6.4

Awesome app! This app is a must for anyone who is a creative thinker or someone who wants to share their ideas with others. I'm a teacher and have found this app outstanding for sharing ideas and methods with my pupils. I've tried lots of different apps on my iPad to mimic pen and paper and this one in my opinion is the best! I would highly recommend..Version: 3.2

A perfect teaching/learning toolThis program makes it so easy to make handouts for lessons, share notes and keep organized. Well worth the price for the plus!.Version: 5.4

AmazingIt’s amazing just wish I could edit my text boxes :( Some days it lets me others it doesn’t, other then that it’s lovely!.Version: 5.8

Inflow PlusWhat an excellent product - does all I need and more..Version: 2.1

I use for all my sketchesA nice replacement for sketching on paper. In meetings I now sketch graphs and diagrams using Inkflow displaying the output on my Apple TV. Much more flexible than a whiteboard.Version: 4.0

Amazing but one problemThis app is the best I've seen to do anything and more than you can do on pen and paper. But I have one problem. I use it on both my phone and iPad and I've been trying to sync it but I still don't know how, please add a sync across devices feature?.Version: 5.4

A good note app used with apple penWhen using an apple pen to write on this note app, you do not need to worry about the skin of your hand making any unnecessary spot..Version: 5.4

Fantastic app- unlike all the others I've tried... Here's why...I use this app for pretty much everything. Simple to-do list all the way to helping organize complex ideas for the work environment. What I find most useful that I have not found another app that can do is to take notes from a whiteboard, piece of paper etc and let you edit and move around its pieces as if you wrote it in the app. For instance, I may take handwritten notes in a meeting, import the picture and this app lets me then move around the different sentences or pieces as I likE. All the other apps I see will let you Import a picture and write on it, BUT won't let you cut out pieces and move them around. That alone makes this app worth way more than the price!.Version: 3.4
