✓ Deceptive advertisingThis product calls itself dictation for pages. It is not it's a total waste of time. It has no type of integration with pages you have to type in their program and paste it into pages. That defeats the whole purpose. Then you can only dictate 20 messages a day. ✓ STILL GOT BUGS!!!!The voice recognition is only fair. Much like Siri. On the iPhone at least, I noticed that the "open in"button doesn't work. By that I mean does not launch other program options for you to place the text in. Right now this program has got bugs, but I'm sure if they have any attention to detail they'll fix them. ✓ Much better than Dragon!Nice piece of software. Takes a bit of getting used to as there is a timeout if you stop speaking. It would be better for the software to ignore silence and let you tap the screen to stop recording. When you pause the software starts processing your speech then displays it. It's pretty accurate too, even for a Yorkshireman like me! You then click on the import to Pages button and hey presto it's there in Pages. Good start guys keep improving it. ✓ DisappointingI downloaded this and installed it on. My iPad 2 to help me work on a novel and speed-up note-taking and eventually, once I had mastered its use, even use it to write whole chapters. At first it worked fine, for about ten minutes, that is! Then it suddenly stopped and gave an error message, telling me "You are not authorized to use this. Service. Contact your service provider". I tried installing it on my iPad Mini, to check whether it was a compatibility problem with the iPad 2, but both have the latest iOS installed - just updated it in fact - but it played exactly the same trick on that. Even deleting and downloading it does not solve the problem. Waiting a few days and then reinstalling it will give you around 10 more uses before giving the error message again. ✓ Initial tests Great!If I speak clearly it is very accurate, and quick. I can't always think fast when I'm dictating, the app will allow you to speak very slow, word by word and wait patiently for you to tap finish - this is great! Often gets locked out of the voice to text conversion server. This renders the app useless. This needs to be fixed. Then I will give more stars. Would benefit from the option to save notes within the app and open them later for further dictation. Once completed I would then copy the note for use in its final destination..Version: 1.1
✓ Poor customer serviceThis system performed well while I was reading a research paper into it. However I have some questions as to whether or not you can use bold face print, italicize, and underline (can anybody help with this)? I contacted customer service 3 days ago and have yet to hear back. (As an aside, Printer Pro's guys got back to me within 6 hours).
