✓ Advertorial...?!I purchased this magazine because I'm into information that inspires realisation of potential and believed the content would be varied, fresh, original and informative presented in magazine style. What I received instead was what can best be described as a disconnected yet repetitive cut and paste of various 'famous' The Secret related people either directly presenting their existing content more or less as is, or rehashing their existing content in a bland summary. The magazine is not interviewing them or presenting a review or perspective - other than one interview with Bob Proctor, it is literally just pasting the content into what are some sadly very limited and poorly designed 'pages' - as in VERY poor. Yes the original content may be useful and interesting but that's not why I bought a magazine - I could have just visited their websites or read the books I already have. Furthermore every other page, if not every page, is a link to the Joe Vitale style 'sell sell sell' website of the subject of the 'article' (i.e. edited extract) Having visited at least 3 such sites i think i now have a pretty good idea of what all these authors have on their vision board - people like me buying their content about how I can learn to become rich - and help them fulfill their vision while doing so. Nothing wrong with that I guess but that is not the premise on which i chose to buy the 'magazine'. I suggest the magazine editor revisits some other great magazines to discover the secret to creating a great magazine. This is the first time I have every bothered to send in a review but the experience was that disappointing i can't keep it a secret. One final note to the editor, the was one good thing i thought i might copy to my facebook - a (freecycled?!) poster about gratitude but even that somehow transformed into a message that basically said 'i found this great magazine why don't you buy it too' needless to say i deleted the link - even cyber friends deserve more. I'm sorry its not better, i truly wish it was and hope the team at Secrets of the Secret have a rethink and get it right - in the words of my teachers at school "more effort required". On a positive note, at least no trees were killed to print it..ShambassadorVersion: 2.7.5
