When I am using this program and switch my radio to Bluetooth iTunes, it freezes my recording and renders the program useless. ✓ Was betterRated this app 5 until the last update. It used to hold settings but after the last update defaults to the lowest settings every time it is turned off. I do Uber driving and want the highest setting for 10 hours a day. Now I have to reset it ever morning and sometimes it defaults during the day causing a loss of videos..Version: 1.2.13

✓ AdditionsWill this record with screen off? Can you create a “save location” so we can have it go to an external device we may have connected to our phones? Maybe add “double tap screen to save an incident” where the video won’t be deleted in loop if it was major enough for a stop but you want to keep for records later. Haven’t tested this yet but it did it with my camera in general: can we listen to music via Bluetooth if it’s recording or will it cancel the audio play for the video. Overall looks great! ✓ Well pleased & have iOS 9I bought a windshield mount at Walmart and my iPhone and protective case slips easily in and out making it easy to use. Once I figured out that I needed to focus on something outside the car, I got reasonably clear videos rather than just raindrops on the windshield. I have forgotten to press the record button a few times so suggest that an alert of some kind be made for a few moments if the gps senses movement and the record has not been activated. I've learned to make sure the dim red record light is pulsing. I've not seen any instruction manual and am not clear what compression does. Perhaps saves space but I'd like to know if it makes resolution suffer. I find the speed and coordinates accurate. All in all, I'm pleased with it and recommend it..Version: 1.2.8

✓ Just what I was looking forRecords... With voice, loops too, adds a few bits of information in to the video which could be pretty handy. Over all, great value for money app. I would like to see a little tweak here and there though. The option of having landscape or portrait recording, a mini map with current location marker and a line showing the route taken would be a great idea. ✓ Great dashboard camera appI've tried a lot of other dashboard cam apps in the Apple Store and the quality is the best on this one. My only 2 complaints which is keeping me from giving it 5 stars is I wish you could just open the app and it records in the background and then when something happens you can just hit save last minute of footage or last 30 seconds and then it records everything after as well. This app is more proactive than reactive... Meaning in order to catch anything on camera you'd have to be recording the entire time. I also wish it had an easier way to indicate that it is recording other than the dull red blinking light. Overall though this quality of this app is the best of its kind. ✓ Request deniedI have two major issues with this app. Other than that, it is been a great app that I have used for the past several years for my employment. The new upgrade to ISO 9 has caused me to lose videos that I have recorded. This causes me to lose money both in gas, time, and the money I would've received for the videos from my employer. The second issue is with the way this app indicates that you have started recording. It is almost impossible to see a dim red light flashing when you were in broad daylight inside your car. I have asked the company numerous times through emails if they could change this issue to something such as a sound that would indicate you have stopped or started recording. I have sent numerous emails to the company but have heard nothing in return from them. For these two reasons I can only write this three stars..Version: 1.2.8
✓ I really like this!!!I have been saying for months how I wish I had a dash cam so I could record how idiot people drive!! I never got the camera because I didn't want to spend the money on a new camera and whatever else I'd need to get it working. I saw this app today (was free) and decided to check it out. I DIY'ed a mount for my iPod and recorded a bit of footage of me driving today. From what I can tell this app works great and is just what I have been looking for! It's easy to navigate and recorded all of my drive. When I got home and reviewed the footage I was glad to see that it had split it up into 5 minute videos (rather than one long video). I found no bugs or crashing. The only thing I can recommend at this point is having a more clear identifier when you click record. Like a ding or a text that says "recording". I agree with one of the other reviews that the last update was bogus and killed it. I’ve contacted the developer but so far no response. So far, I've had some close-calls, but it's great to have that documented. So far, it's been serving me well, but it would be great if there was some sort of way to improve picture clarity during night time recording. The recordings seem a bit too dark for my liking. ✓ Great Dash CamIt works exactly as described, exactly what I was looking for. Many of these dash cams have a ton of extra features that make the app useless as a dash cam or burn your battery. Ran this cam on dimmed screen and battery save mode and only used 60% of battery over 3.5 hours of constant use. A few things I would like to point out: 1: Be careful of your phone placement it can and will overheat. 2: As with all dash cams this one will not record while multitasking. 3: Please don't use it while driving, set it up and don't touch it! Then I read a review about this car iPhone app. The quality on this is much better than witness app as I have purchased this app, having first gone to witness. The ability to display speed, time & date or just coordinates is just brilliant. Compression good too. Only downside, you can't have this running in the background. ✓ Found no problems, what I was looking forI have had no problem with this app, the earlier problems listed have been improved, the is the best app for "black box", your speed is shown on screen as it records so it is perfect for evidence. The only small issue I have is that the gps for speed is a little slow, I'll get to a red light and it will take <5 seconds to return to 0mph, this could be held against you if trying to contest a speeding ticket with this app as evidence. ✓ Music and other appsI have had several of the free dash cam apps. Thought I would purchase one. This is great app except I can’t run other audible apps in the background. All other apps I could activate the dash cam and then minimize, open a music app and get it operating, minimize the music app and go back to the dash cam. The dash cam would record and I could listen to music at the same time. Same goes with Maps. I would like to hear directions while the dash app is running. The apps embed time and geolocation which makes this app noteworthy. The interface is beautiful and not cluttered with one button that matters and it is the Record button. A couple of things I would love to request of the developer: Could you do something to make it clearer that the drive is being recorded. The 'rec' button currently throbs when active and is quite difficult to see. An option to blank the screen once in motion would be a great feature methinks.
