✓ Sales tacticsThis site as nice a few years back. It now seems to be full of up sells i.e. new car salesman tactics. 20 bucks for just the New Testament audio is absurd. There are numerous free apps with narrated audio bible. I guess it's o.k for people who have money to throw away but they already make money when you download the app by bulk harvesting data, as with any app, not to mention donations through the app, TV and online. Then there are little odds and ends here and there to loosen up your purse strings. Seems like a sales funnel to me. I would have hoped the word of the Lord meant more than earnings..Version: 5.0.0.8
✓ New design lacks focusIMO the new design is a hodgepodge of content rolled together without proper organization and looks like an old car radio. This app would benefit from the developers re-reading the Apple Human Interface Guidelines (especially the section about navigation) and thinking about how to structure content instead of putting a tab bar, hamburger menu, and button grid all on one screen (that is then cut off at the bottom by a decorative image showing gray lines). Also, the search page is very unclear. It only searches the Bible, but is labeled "Search" and is on the same tab bar with Bible, schedules, and home (which implies that it is a peer to schedules and home, not specifically tied to Bible). Combine that with the filter selector having only two letter abbreviations and the only way to tell what it does is to do a search and see what happens. EWTN has great content, and I appreciate the effort it takes to make an app, but this feels like an early beta..Version: 9.06.000
✓ Disappointed at changes n the past 2-3 yearsFrequent buffering and unable to get American channels. Told we don’t have permission! Why not? Why offer us American channels with an ikon advertising them but then tell us we cannot watch them? Also, we find the Masses at Walsingham and Knock unwatchable. So much irreverence by the participants, not surprising when no one acknowledges Christ’s Presence in the Tabernacle); also the distractions by tourists traipsing in and out; also, it’s depressing to see a majority of women on the Sanctuary - they are reading, singing, giving out the Blessed Sacrament even when the numbers attending Mass don’t require more than a priest to serve them! How about some programmes to encourage men to read, sing, and dispense the Sacrament at Mass? We prefer to follow the American Friars’ Mass on Sundays by taking it on You Tube or On Demand for the repeat. Now THAT is a noble Novus Ordo Mass!!!.Version: 11.20.002

✓ Great app, but video aspect ratio is wrongThe app itself is great, but for the last few versions the aspect ratio of the live streams has been wrong. It's almost like a 4:3 picture is being stretched horizontally to fill out a 16:9 letterbox, or something similar. Certainly, when I compare it to the TV channel itself, the picture is definitely stretched horizontally, but is the same vertically. Other than this one issue (which is a fairly annoying one, certainly), there aren't any other issues I'm aware of..Version: 4.0.3

✓ NOT A HAPPY CAMPER! Latest update is AWFUL!Your new app update doesn’t deserve ANY stars in my review! It’s AWFUL!! All of my favorite audio-on-demand shows are missing. I don’t want to watch the radio shows! I want to listen to Open Line with Fr. Larry! Fr. Mitch, and all the others! Why did you take them off! There isn’t even an audio on demand icon anymore. I have limited internet here and video takes up a lot more internet allowance. I’m so upset that about this new update that I’m deleting your app. This used to be my favorite app, but since you removed the only things I like about it, I’m going to delete it..Version: 7.4.001
✓ Annette MurphyI love EWTN. .. although this evening in uk the programme schedule on tv is showing world over live but it’s the news nightly that is showing ..! the low star rating is for the app which is awful !! It used to be so good and user friendly Before it was changed to this format Very not user friendly and not correct re live broadcasts for uk it takes you to the radio very confusing !!.Version: 9.08.003
✓ No support ChromecastI downloaded the app to watch a video on demand that was available for free for a month. I didn’t find a chromecast option to stream the video on my tv. I am not sure if I will have to go to my pc, use Chrome and then stream that way, but it makes it inconvenient to only be able to watch content on limited options. Chrome cast has been around for a couple of years now. Hopefully the app can be updated in the future. I think I will just watch this documentary and then delete the EWTN app..Version: 7.3.004
✓ Missing contentSince the last update, some programs are no longer available on demand in audio only, specifically The World Over. I’m no longer able to listen while mobile. Sad..Version: 7.4.001
✓ App Changes Don’t Make SenseThe recent changes to the app and what programs are in what section of the choices is very confusing. Long time users are frustrated as there is no “guide” on where and how to access favorite programs other than just pushing buttons. From a look and feel perspective I like the app. However, my sister doesn’t know where to find her favorite programs easily and I take a call a week to guide her..Version: 9.08.005

✓ Bible Not workingPurchased the dramatization of the Bible 3 years ago. For the 1st 6 months both the Old Testament and New Testament worked fine. I could listen to it all day. Eventually the Old Testament stopped working that till this very day only the New Testament can be heard. One has to read the Old Testament-of you Have poor vision as I do reading it Then makes it extremely difficult to do. Hopefully it gets fixed soon for it Was my main purpose for ordering this.. simply so I can listen to it. Otherwise it’s a waste of money..Version: 7.4.001
