✓ Got working with Cubase 12 on windowsJust bought this app and worked fine with Cubase 11.5. Then I upgraded to 12 3 days later and it gets stuck “Connecting”. Turns out had to manually add Cubase 12 to windows firewall allowed (thanks Steinberg Lars). Working great now..Version: 1.2.4

✓ Excellent from Steinberg!Been using this app for a couple of now and wondered what I ever did without it. Solves every issue for working away from the computer especially if your hands are full of guitar. One issue I found that I would like to pass on is if you are using a version of Cubase without the Control Room function as I am with Elements 8 you should turn off that function within the app otherwise when you try to scroll the tracks within the app for a detailed view for adding markers it will crash your PC software. Once you do that it will work flawlessly..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Quite usefulI have only been playing around with it for a short amount of time. Positives: Shortcuts are great. You can create a shortcut for almost anything within the program. Is quite snappy and quick. Looks good. Cons: Can't use the full screen for faders as they are quite shot and you can't do fine movements.Version: 1.2

✓ Way cool!!!So far I have just been playing around with this, but oh my, it is just SO COOL!! I use a Microsoft Surface Pro 9 and an M1 iPad Pro, and it is kind of like having a double monitor, double keyboard, double touch screen version of Nuendo running! There are some frustrations of course. Chief of these being that it only seems to respond to the touch screen, and not mouse moves..Version: 1.2.4

✓ After 6 years, it works again!If you look at version history you’ll see that this app was abandoned by Steinberg, and I was Ted nearly 20 bucks… or so we thought! I see that a few months ago the dev team got back on it! I just noticed this tonight, downloaded the update, linked it up with the Remote SKI app, and it works beautifully. Instantaneous response, and a slew of buttons that are actually helpful, like a single tap to open the Pool or Media Bay or any of the mixers. Full transport control on the bottom… and the mixer faders are actually resizable and useful. FINALLY!.Version: 1.2.5

✓ Excellent App, I'm liberated from my computer!!!!I have Cubase 6.5, Mac OSX 10.6.8 and it is perfect with very little latency. The WiFi connection means I'm not limited to the proximity of my Mac. A WiFi extender makes it even better. Easy to setup with the latest downloads. Very easy to customise and it does what I tell it to. ✓ Very very coolHeld off buying this for a long time due to the price and not being sure how useful it would be above and beyond the free version. It works flawlessly at the moment. I'm using an iPhone 6 os8 MacBook Pro and Cubase 8. You can literally control any aspect of Cubase you want ! It's amazing. I didn't realise there was so much functionality. It's silky smooth and responsive too. Especially useful if you are doing a lot of recording. You don't have to keep stepping back to the computer as you literally have Cubase 8 in your hands and can control it from wherever you are. It's supercool. Very good work from Steinberg. ✓ Still worth using!Although this app has been neglected for a long time, I’ve still been using it and it’s a fantastic solution for remote controlling Cubase when you can’t be at your workstation and even an extra surface with many customisable macro buttons etc. Now they’ve updated it (with a simple procedure too!) it’s even more usable especially as they’ve fixed the bug which used to throw me out of the app when pressing after after text in the search entry text box when adding shortcuts to macro..Version: 1.2.3

✓ Works greatI record music by myself and I'm so glad to have this app. It easily allows me to record takes from the other room without having to walk back and forth to my computer. I gave it four stars instead of five because the options are fairly limited to basic recording. Can't set loop points from the app. I also don't like that the project is displayed in minutes/seconds instead of bars/beats. I hope this app sees more development. ✓ Cubase iCGot it working. Sort of. I recorded a couple of tracks on my PC, which plays when I start the Controller. BUT. Unlike your screen dump on the App….my MIDI files don’t show. I just get a grey box. Should it show the MIDI and Audio files on my iPad. ? Or, what do I have to do in the settings, to make it show..Version: 1.2.4
✓ Good ControlA great piece of software which is worth the money especially if you are a solo engineer, songwriter etc.. Great to be able to follow your position within a song as you sit away from the PC. The app is greatly editable when it comes to function keys. Created a great quantisation tab which is useful when you are not facing your monitor but there are a few gripes.... The inability to toggle the timing view on the main scrolling view on the ipad between 'beats+bars' and 'time'. It makes it rather awkward if you want to do a punch in or write another MIDI part. You can't set a discreet bar or beat when setting locators, only seconds based. The meter views show you graphical representation but there are no values for the faders. A small omission as you may want to get the levels back to a previous value on your ipad screen which is difficult when there are no markers on the fader. Overall a really great addition to the cubase range. Come on Steinberg, Cubase 6 & 7 are amazing pieces of software. Let's get this ipad app up to the same standard! I look forward to future updates and more things that this app can achieve..Version: 1.0.1
✓ This app is awesome!I can't live without it at this point. It has become my right hand in the studio. I only record my own stuff, but it's drums, bass, guitars etc. Being able to record, arm tracks, mute, solo, and undo from across the building is fyucking excellent. This app keeps the creativity flowing. I've tried V control, and in my OPINION, it is worthless. I say so after going through three brand new routers, and countless emails, just to have it work for three weeks; and quit working again. No wasted time with IC Pro.
