Getting there! This is the best option on iOS but could benefit from a bit of a UI refresh. There are no sorting options for your collection so you can't sort by Year/Album/Artist. It only organises everything by the ablum title!? When you have a large collection it isn't very user friendly.. It is also extremely slow to load album art (from OneDrive) - you literally have to hover over every image for it to load, and even then it often doesn't until you play the track.. Perhaps a button in the menu to load images in one go could be an option? My recommendations are: Use the same player style as in iTunes where the media controls drop to the bottom instead of a very dated image of a CD to bring back the media controls. Move the hamburger menu to the left (where it should be) and put the "Scan" button in the menu, then have a sorting options dropdown on the right. Also... Dark Mode :).Version: 2.27.1

Need Dropbox Business Team Folder SupportLove this app (have been using it for years), however, it does not have support for Dropbox Team folders since Dropbox Business changed the way this feature and API works a couple of years ago. Have written to the developer twice and offered to pay for this functionality but no response. The API is available to make this happen. As a record label we need this functionality so badly that we are considering developing our own app... We have over 40TB of data and music that is constantly growing and it cannot be kept in a single Dropbox Business team member’s (user) folder - we need to be able to login directly into to the main team folder structure and access files there. Would upgrade review to stars if this functionality was added..Version: 2.32.2

Should be easierI am using a cloud account to listen. There is an absurd requirement that music must be playing to import files/folders, so you need to turn off the screen lock, and then play a song on infinite replay until the scan process completes. I think the entire setup process needs work. It does play and organize the music well, although there is a scrolling bug. Update: this app stinks and I want my money back, along with the hours and electricity wasted. It can’t import my library from a OneDrive account. Update: this app developer should provide a refund. The app is useless to me as it won’t import my library. Bummer..Version: 2.51.2

I hate to write a stinky reviewBut it seems that your latest update is not accessable with voiceover, please fix it!.Version: 2.39.1

AwfulNot intuitive at all and playlists stop playing after 4 songs. Hopeless.Version: 2.55.3

Worth ItThis was the first app I've paid for. It let's me listen to music I already own and have stored on OneDrive. It worked good until today. Some glitch involving Microsoft OneDrive for Business has caused me to lose a playlist that took ages to compile. Not impressed..Version: 2.19.2

Doesn’t play iTunes mediaIt says it imports iTunes library but it doesn’t play iTunes music.Version: 2.26.11

Flac files won’t play from OneDrive on iPhoneNo point having an app that doesn’t play flac files..Version: 2.27.9

Can’t delete songsI’ve been using this app for about six months now. So I’ve had a good chance to really test it. The good: it’s easy to download songs from various cloud drives. The bad: it is impossible to delete songs you don’t like. The buttons and the functions are there but it is not capable to delete the songs. You have eventually will have a playlist of songs you don’t like and cannot delete. There are also too many playlist making it confusing to use. Overall, this app is not great and if you are looking for an MP3 player, look elsewhere..Version: 2.38.6

I can't work with this app!!It's extremely hard to work with this app. i want to download my audio files and listen to them offline. it completely confusing and useless..Version: 2.16.3

Playlist BugWith created playlist, it doesn't play consistently all the time. Sometimes the second song doesn't buffer up. Please fix!.Version: 2.6.5

Not brilliantI’ve had this app now 1-2 years I have a lot of photo’s & music on it, Today for some reason all my photo’s have been deleted from the app though all the files are still there, if you click on the file it just says empty, Also about 3 times now ( including today also ) it has deleted all the music I have downloaded onto my phone to be able to play it off line, It’s also happened on another device I have the app on, The original photo’s are still there in my ‘OneDrive’ file I think it’s time to try another app, £5 wasted to pay for the premium !!!! Version of the app.Version: 2.27.9

Gapless Playback IssuesI went ahead and bought this app because I got tired of what Apple Music does to my music (replacing my mixes with their mixes.) What I liked about this app is the ability to have gapless playback, which is hard to find...but, the gapless on this app has issues. When I play some of my gapless albums, the gap is still there (even though they play gapless on my iPod) - and other gapless albums will play gapless, but they cut off the prior song about a millisecond too soon - so it kind of ‘skips’ into the next song, rather than a smooth gapless transition. If these issues can be fixed, I will give this a 5 star - but as it is, I don’t think it was worth the $4.99..Version: 2.22.2

New UpdateDoes not work with the new CarPlay update..... Doesn’t show everything in my Favourites Folder and also freezes most of the time... Have not been able to play any music since.Version: 2.29.1

Frustrating but has some good featuresThis app is a great idea and it almost works well. The problem for me is that data constantly become corrupted. For example MP3s that had been successfully added and played just fine will suddenly mysteriously disappear. Or somehow having correctly read the tags (or maybe it just goes by file name) the data will get mixed up. So one file appears to have disappeared but really the app has mixed up the meta data with another file. So it will appear as if I have duplicate files, but really the meta data is being incorrectly read. This happens constantly. My user case is a little different. I use the app for language learning and I have hundreds of short 10 second files and I try to create playlists but I keeping finding that files are vanishing. To fix this I delete everything and start again, which works for a brief time but then the data starts to become corrupted again..Version: 2.28.1

New UpdateThis is a great app...till the last update issued today. It no longer connects to Dropbox..Version: 2.16.1

Totally basic and seems to crash, worth $.99, not $7I bought this based on all of the positive reviews and needing a solution to play music hosted in my OneDrive folder. The interface is simple which is a positive, nothing tricky to figure out. But this is not simple in the way of giving power in an easy to navigate interface; it’s just basic. You can browse for artist, album or song. No genre, no bpm, nothing else. It has a radio function that basically just lets you “turn it on”; no ability to “change station” or select a style by choosing a starting song. I’m okay with totally random and 90% of time, that’s how listen ; “ shuffle all”. But I’d like some ability to tailor. But there is a problem with the app randomly shutting down after a couple of songs. Aside from the random crash, I would be delighted to pay $.99 for the access it gives; but for $6.99, I expect way more..Version: 2.26.10

No goodI'd like my money back. Limited features Plays on Chromecast one album, then says it's not supported for streaming next. That's why I bought it. You gotta stream dude..Version: 2.22.1

It WorksVery basic, not many features, needs at least a search and other music related features like playlists but at least it works. Hope the devs decide to update this at some stage with more features beyond the basics..Version: 2.4.4

What the bleep happened!! Evil and meanI paid for this program and have my songs on my phone via Dropbox. Now your app isn’t starting at all it is forcing me into the “box” sign in and I cannot escape it and go back to the main screen... X or cancel doesn't work and I’m pi**ed.. whatever plug in the “box”is I only use dropbox so what kind of error is that please fix it I am very disappointed I will have to probably delete and lose my music. Not cool I paid.. Update: you guys are evil and mean, you guys created a bug so I would have to sign up for a “box” account that stays stuck on the “box” sign in ... your screen will freeze if you accidentally click to setup the “BOX” cloud service, and you will have to sign up for a box account or it will claim there is an error and you cannot access any of the app!!! sneaking rotten!!! I paid money and don’t deserve that even though its free to sign up.. your obviously both in cahoots for money over my hour of frustration. Rotten rotten rotten other than that the app was 5 stars until your obviously ruining functionality now.Version: 2.19.3

Doesn’t function the way you’d expect.I select shuffle in a playlist and it doesn’t shuffle I select Radio and it says it can’t, but not why I don’t find it intuitive.Version: 2.29.4

Cloudbeats sucks for flac.Horrible app. Been trying to use this app to listen to flac music stored on a Synology NAS. FLAC is a high resolution lossless file format. Trying to play flac with a google home max over bluetooth is a very frustating experience. Bluetooth keeps disconnecting every few seconds. Google knows about this and refuse to fix the issue. The problem with bluetooth is that it only really works with lossy files like aac or mp3. Playing a flac over bluetooth, the audio will be reduced to lossy format. Cloudbeats could fix this by adding chromecast but they still refuse. Many other audio video apps include chromecast. Flac should be played over wifi only. The other option is to use an audio cable to play flac. Google home max does have an audio in port..Version: 2.53.3

Has 1 bug I’ve foundI have the paid version, I’ve had it for a few days, I attempt to use it for many hours daily, and much of the time there is no issue, but the bug below cannot be ignored. Sometimes a particular track will not play or download from the cloud, an attempt will be made to play, it will fail and then it skips to the next song, the next song will play. Sometime in the future, possibly a day later the track will be playable. (I use google drive & had WiFi connection the whole time). I will be happy to amend my review when I don’t see this bug again..Version: 2.23.2

Works occasionallyPretty good app when it occasionally plays some music. Most of the time I’ll select a song and………………………………..Version: 2.41.1

Different cloud drives work differentlyThis is my music app and I like it but it has taken a lot of work to get it functioning smoothly. + I am generally happy that I’m in control of music now and able to listen to old mp3s. + developer Roman is very responsive - you have to give app access full access to a cloud drive, which is unnerving. I ended up getting a cloud storage service for music alone (onedrive). - tried Google drive first but it loses your metadata somehow which makes your library all messed up when pulled into cloudbeats. - can only save *playlists* on three types of cloud drives which is frustrating because I would have to give access to two different cloud drives (can’t store playlists on onedrive.) - interface is just a little glitchy. - have a big library and it’s taken a lot of massaging my metadata to get my library looking right..Version: 2.23.6

App uselessThis app sucks it always says track load error I wish I never bought the full version the free version works fine I hate you developers of this app you are as dumb as your stupid app.Version: 2.55.7

Stability has improvedStability has improved. However, I am now wondering if there is a limit to number of files that can be downloaded for offline play? I am nowhere near phone memory limit but regularly have to re-download with message that file is corrupted. Would be 5 stars if I didn’t have to keep re-downloading files and if it had an equalizer..Version: 2.29.9

It used to meet my needs but no longerI liked it until it deleted all my downloads when I went offline. I contacted support and they asked why I would be offline? I replied that when my internet is down I’m offline. But I often do not sync to Google. So the app is useless to me now. In fact if I do not have my link to google open I can’t access the app. Apparently others just want a link to the cloud. However, not all of us are linked to the cloud. So now I have my audio downloaded to a simple app called “Voice Recorder”. It is basic, but does the job and I have my recordings available offline..Version: 2.19.2

Too many bugsApp works okay but just okay. My biggest pet peeve about it is that you can't effectively reverse or fast forward files effectively. I use the app to access my vast library of lectures on my cell phone and if I want to reverse or skip ahead in a talk, even for just a few seconds, the only options are to use either the fast forward or reverse function keys or slide the progress bar indicator back and forth. The problem is that both of these methods are so crude that it's extremely difficult to accurately gauge how far you've actually gone. For example, hold the reverse key for barely too long a moment and instead of going back a minute or so, you're sent back fifteen minutes or even much more, often to the very beginning of an hour long lecture. Developers really need to incorporate ten second reverse and fast forward keys like most other audio apps use, i.e. like Apple's Music app (which unfortunately is itself just another of Apple's many pathetically buggy apps and the main reason I switched to this app). Another major flaw occurs when batch uploading files as the app frequently and arbitrarily renames files, often unrelated to the batch one is uploading. For example, it will take the name of a previously uploaded file and apply it to an entirely new set of files, sometimes even naming each and every file in that batch with the same name, leaving one with a batch of identically named files and no way of telling them apart, one from another. I'm at the point of looking for another audio so that will function the way it should because this one is far from what it should be..Version: 2.55.10

Unreliable OneDrive connectivityWas on a road trip with perfect high speed coverage and the app continuously lost connectivity to OneDrive - would die in mid-song, wouldn't play next song, had to be forced quit/restarted, etc. All library content had already been scanned prior to the drive so it wasn't attempting to do too many things. The OneDrive app itself worked fine, so throughput to OD definitely wasn't the issue. Still rating it 3 stars because I like very much what the app is intended to do - allow easy iOS access to media storage outside of Apple's walled garden..Version: 2.40.6

BewareI used to be able to sync my playlists automatically through Google drive. Then the developer took the feature away and put it behind a subscription paywall. I feel ripped off and am now scared to update again because I might lose other features in the future..Version: 2.39.1

Too many errors and support doesn’t helpI continually have an error where an artist has an “unknown folder” with songs and it will not play any of the songs in that folder. However in my OneDrive all of the data with the artist and album title is there so it works for some but not for others for no apparent reason as everything is saved and tagged in the same way in my OneDrive. I’ve sent this to support multiple times with screenshots and they have still not helped fix it. The most recent error I have had that is driving me crazy is it downloads my whole music collection so I can use it off-line and then I click into another folder on my linked OneDrive to try to download a playlist and it’s empty so I back out of that folder and boom all my songs I just waited for it to save offline have disappeared and they start to re-download all my music again. Also, in order to download the music off-line you have to keep the app front and centre you cannot have it in the background otherwise it pauses which means leaving my screen on the whole time that it is downloading This constant re-saving deletes all playlist I have and also settings. Very frustrating I’m almost done with this app - I paid for it and it is not meeting my expectations at all with those basic functionality is not working!.Version: 2.31.2

Almost unusable for a large libraryThere seems no way to shuffle the whole library. Importing the files is tortuously slow and building playlists is only by selecting every song, no use of any of the mp3 tags. Basically a waste of five quid!.Version: 2.22.2

Bad updateSince the last update, it won’t open…crashes immediately. Please fix. [update] The developer responds: "Please sign out from Box and sign in again to work around the issue. The update is on the way to Appstore to permanently fix the problem." So, by doing this I have to rescan my entire music library...yeah, nice “work around”..Version: 2.29.7

Refuses to let me log IThe App insists (via pop up) that I login via Google but when I click on the button to enter my details the box just disappears to be replaced by the original pop up box.Version: 2.40.9

No sort by date optionSadly there is no option to ‘sort by date’ - so when you connect your Dropbox, yes it shows the folders of music, but it’s all in alphabetical order. Not great..Version: 2.26.6
