Medisafe Medication Management for Positive User Reviews

ReviewPlease rethink the idea of being able to use a 1/2 & 1/4 tablet which many of us use for pain meds. 0.5 is not good enough to correctly add a dose. Plus there needs to be an icon for products like flixotide & OnBreeze (please google) which are breathing meds similar to Ventolin. Also an icon for Salbutamol another solution used in a ventilator I showed it to my Respitory Surgeon, my GP & Ambulance people only to find they did not recognise the products as I know them by. To give you an example Relpax the name on the box yet medical people know it by the drug name which is Eletripitan. So it’d be great if we had room next to the name that’s understandable by medicos as well as us users. Apart from those issues which I’ve use work arounds this Ap is a life saver. Thank you..Version: 6.2.10

(Suggestions)I LOVE this appSuggestions are here review is below. - Add different pain trackers, your current one is good for overall pain but bad if I want to track a few different symptoms that include pain. For example I wanna track my knee pain, my headaches, and my neck pain, but cannot currently do it separately. Add that separation ability. - Add different pill sizes. That way you can enlarge your pill or even make it smaller. Good for same colored pills that look exactly the same except for their size. Not a necessary feature but a good one to add. Very good app exceptionally for me because there have been multiple times where I forgot wether or not I have already taken my pills, so I had to not take them just in case so I don’t overdose, and so maybe I missed a few doses. With this I don’t have to even worry about memorizing. As soon as I take the pill I mark it down. Easy. I also love the fact that the pills that this app doesn’t have I can still put on there because you can customize your own pills! Great feature that a lot of other apps do not include. Love the fact that I can have all of my appointments on there as well! Amazing! I can have all of my medical reminders in one place! Also thanks to the creators for actually reading the reviews! I have noticed that a few features were added that other people including myself suggested! Good job guys! Wonderful app! 10/10.Version: 5.4.7

Actually helpful!I have tried other reminder apps and have ended up missing doses but this one has me never failing a day. It’s so easy to navigate and I love how it gives you information about your medication. I absolutely love that you can customise the colour and shape of the pills in the app so that it’s easier for people with reading difficulties to know what they’re taking. The app is so clean and simple and because of it, I haven’t missed a dose in over a year. Thank you, Medisafe!.Version: 6.6.32

Almost PerfectAs a sufferer of a cronic condition I take a large number of medications multiple times a day. Medisafe is a fantastic app to keep track of what to take when. The most useful feature though is the ability to manage when I need I need refills. This is functionality is fantastic. The reason that I didn't assign 5 stars is that I have to also get 2 injections every 12 weeks. While the medications are listed within the app, the limited cycles that you are able to choose from means that I am unable to include them. Could you please make the cycle functionality more flexible?.Version: 5.0.3

Excellent AppI really like the ‘shaking bottle of tablets’ sound feature reminder. It is very effective. I also like the fact that it is possible to chose a picture matching the aspect of each tablet e.g. small white chalky tablet or green/white oblong pill etc. It is an excellent visual reminder too. The third excellent feature is that the App keeps track of how many of each tablet remain and send a reminder to re-order in good time. In addition, once the tablet is taken a simple click ensures we don’t take twice the dose in error (wondering if we DID take the tablets in the morning!). Finally, I like the way we can programme what time each pill is to be taken so all reminders are timely. A VERY USEFUL APP INDEED..Version: 8.3.41

App crashes when opening and unusable **updated below**I have been using this app for years. Even though version 8 made some weird bugs appear it was never as bad as this latest update. I can’t open the app. I can't do anything as tapping on its icon makes it load and then after less than 3 seconds it instantly closes and the same thing happens if I reopen it. I tried to open it five times and the same thing happens. A phone restart did not fix this and I am now worried this update that the App Store says was released Sunday means I can’t keep track of meds **easily** as I have been doing for years until (if?) this weird bug gets fixed. I stuck with this app for years as it was the only way to make sure I 100% took my meds with my severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Before using it I skipped meds rather than accidentally take a double dose (I forget and obsess about taking a medicine or not a looot….) so I am hoping this gets fixed within a week. I am editing the review to note that I never created an account for this app because of privacy worries so I can’t delete it and re-download it to see if that fixes it :( ***second edit added after the August 25th update follows***: it works! It works again!!!! Thank you, Medisafe team 🥳😁.Version: 8.3.41

No HealthKit Medication Integration??Three months ago, Apple announced HealthKit support for Medications. I was so sure this would be the first app to do this. I want to believe that, having done this yourselves for so long, bending your way to iOS’s is taxing. Please tell me y’all are working on this. Please..Version: 8.2.0

Great productEasy to use, love the reminders and that it reminds a family member if you’ve not taken your medication. Love it gives you product information on your meds. Works at home or when I’m out and about..Version: 5.7.2

Long Term UserHave been using this App since it appeared in the App Store. The brothers originally developed the App for their Dad to alleviate duplicate medication. As I suffer from several chronic conditions, it would be really helpful if prior medical appts / treatments could be listed in year order. I now look @ past appt details, but the dates start in 2015 heading to 2019, would be more helpful to be the other way round. Otherwise, best App & many friends use it in my Facebook support group..Version: 6.2.13

Good AppI tried many ways of scheduling my medications, none of them great until I found Medisafe. Really helpful and schedules well just one issue for me, the cycle has options 21+7, 22+6, 23+5, 24+4 then jumps to 26+2. I need 25+3 and it is not there so I take the 24+4 option and I know I have to do 1 extra day. It would be great if you could add just one more option. Thank you Medisafe team for responding to my review and guiding me to a way to customise so it works for me 😀.Version: 8.3.21

Super HandyReally easy to use, need to remember when to take medications post operatively and this makes it so easy, automatic reminders + the option to add in “as needed” doses too. Great to have when your memory is foggy after surgery..Version: 7.1.32

RatingGreat app really helps me control my meds will use more features in future.Version: 8.1.21

Reliable and easy to use. Recommended.Way better than my memory - especially when taking med’s that are not part of my regular routine..Version: 6.2.21

CoolThis is great, except you can't add a repetition for more than 29 days. You cannot add notes to pills. You cannot have it change time, yet one of my pills say "take once a week for two weeks then once a month"..Version: 5.1.6

Great appGreat app to help me with my pills.Version: 8.3.03

Very helpful app, two issuesI’ve been using this for a week and Medisafe appears to be a well done app. It was recommended by a pharmacist when my wife started a vast regimen of pills to manage a bone marrow transplant. I like the layout and the medication info and the simplicity of having the app keep track of it all. That it keeps the history is also great. The two issues are: 1) the pill box views do not update to “today” when you open the app. It always shows yesterday until you close and reopen. Seems like a bug. 2) this may be related to the first item. The reminder message/pop up does not always continue to remind in some cases. This morning after the first reminder, and I closed and reopened to get the pillbox to show “today”, the reminder never reoccurred. It wasn’t a problem in this case because I knew the doses had been taken. I was able to check them as taken as usual so no problem there. Overall great app. I think the bugs will get taken care of. 🤞.Version: 6.7.33

Great app and great staffThis app is fantastic! I recently changed my email address and there were some issues trying to do that. The staff were incredibly helpful and worked on the problem for several weeks with constant communication until the problem was solved. A very big thank you from me to the staff that helped..Version: 6.5.20

Not happyI really wish this program that I have used and really relied on for medication management with Parkinson's, it became so important to me, would go back to how it was before the update in June 2017. Now it doesn't work if I go out of my house and away from my wifi. I have to continually enter my log in details. Before this update I was taken by ambulance in an emergency situation. Luckily my phone came with me and all my medical details were available to the Hospital. Now when I move from my home it shows 0 medications. I absolutely hate the changes and it has made me more vulnerable.Version: 5.4.0

BrilliantEasy to use.Version: 5.4.0

ExcellentVery useful application, have used now for several years..Version: 4.0.7

By far the best med reminder. No ads, refill reminders, medication info, and the critical alerts are handy if you’re forgetful like me..Version: 8.1.21

Thanks - great app (just two small comments)Thanks +++ for this app, it’s such an integral part of my life. Just some small comments to consider. Since the last big update I’ve noticed a couple of small problems: Firstly, half the time I the app after receiving the notification, the screen stays on the previous day, and I have to swipe left to move to today’s date. It’s only a small issue, but probably easy for you to fix? Secondly, I used to be able to acknowledge I’d taken my pills directly from the notification alerts - without having to opening the app (I loved this!). Since the last big update this is no longer possible. Will you re-introduce that function?.Version: 7.3.30

Great but needs a few thingsIt’s great to remind me about my meds. But needs a function to scan a bar code so you don’t have to manually enter all info. And doctors have to be enters manually instead of linking to contacts to grab information from there..Version: 8.2.0

Life saverEpic app ! Helps track and remind me when to take everything when I’m to hazy on meds to work out my dosage and times .. a godsend!.Version: 6.2.22

MedsafeIt’s quite good. I would really like the nonspeaking alerts ti last a little longer… and An option for the snooze to keep going until the meds signed off Thank you for this tool Uke5.Version: 8.1.21

Great app for the forgetfulI am forever forgetting to take my meds and I’m on quite a few medications and this app is brilliant for helping me to remember to take them. I love how in-depth this app is, from the pill box showing the meds you need to take and the dosages. The information it gives you about the meds. The record it keeps of the meds you have taken. I can’t recommend this app enough! Well done whoever made this app and thankyou for giving me the knowledge that I will be taking my meds in the am and also my once weekly meds also. 👍🏼.Version: 5.5.3

FantasticI think this app is a MUST for anyone who is a bit forgetful when it come to having regular medication. I love the fact it sends your notifications when you or your little ones are due for medication. It also sends not just one notification so if you miss the first one it will remind you again. The app was a little tricky at the start but honestly didn’t take any time at all to get used to it. I downloaded it on a Wednesday and by Wednesday night after having a play around with it, it was like I had been using it for months definitely 5 STAR TICK OF APPROVAL..Version: 8.3.10

Everyone should use thisFantastic app - helps keep track of medications and sends reliable reminders when doses are due (syncs nicely with smart watches so you get notifications straight to your wrist!) Includes helpful information when adding drugs, and allows customisation for ease in visible recognition of pills / injections / other forms of medication. Also useful for tracking ‘as needed’ pills, such as pain relief - very useful for knowing how long it’s been since you last took something! Since using this I haven’t missed a dose, and am relying on it to now keep me on track for a time-sensitive course of injections. I feel more in control of my meds and have all information together in one place. Can’t rate this highly enough and recommend it to anyone taking any medicines..Version: 7.1.0

Best app ever!!!I would be totally lost without this app as I never forget to take my meds now with the friendly reminder. When I update my phone this app will be the first thing I download. Thank you team you'll the best!!!!.Version: 4.0.8

Note to app makers… Can’t live without this app.. BUT..Update…APP MAKERS: App keeps crashing with these last 2 updates.. mostly when you go to scroll down..please check out.. Thanks so much for all you do!! First Review… How did I ever live without this app.. I have a few various health challenges which make my medicine chart ridiculously long.. when people ask me what medications I am on, I used to just say “too many” and hoped that I at least had my medication list on me... this app is brilliant in not only making sure I take every single medicine on time but now ensures that I don’t forget a dose or worse double up one!! I can also show the list to any health professionals and I love how it also says why I am on each medication which is handy if you have more than one health issue... One of my health issues makes me a bit forgetful as well so now my carer can remind me if I have forgotten something.. I seriously cannot express how grateful I am to the app makers.. brilliant job 10/10.. Extremely grateful! Thank you!!.Version: 7.3.21

Best Medication AppI downloaded this app about two years ago and never had a problem wish the free version. It managed all of my many meds (about 80) and reminders. It started crashing a couple of months ago. When it got so bad I couldn’t depend on it I emailed support. It was an unusual case but Marissa kept at it, didn’t give up. After several weeks, emails and an update, we finally got it working and it’s stable. I’ve tried shopping for other medication apps but none of them have the interface that works as smoothly as this one. I take around 15-35 pills per day and this app manages to remind me of them all and has the easy pillbox interface for loading my pillbox weekly with ease. I also like Morgan Freeman harassing me to take my meds. I’m so glad we got the app stable because there isn’t one on the market I’ve found that comes close to doing what this one does for me. Support is stellar too. I highly recommend this app. 🙏.Version: 6.5.13

Very usefulVery useful app, just frustrating that I can't seem to get it to sync on 2 devices.Version: 5.2.7

Invaluable, butThis app is a lifesaver, I’m on quite a bit of medication for chronic health issues, and saying how many tablets left is great, but.. Because you can set how many tablets you take per dose, it would be great if the app can show how many days of medication are left. This would really help me keep on top of managing my repeat prescriptions so I know when I need to make those requests. I don’t have an alignment on my medication so this would be a really big livesaver..Version: 7.3.01

Amazing AppI worked in health care for 15 years. This app is great as it helps me track my medication in my e-pill box and can add my wife to get notifications on her phone when I miss my dose, which is frequently. The scheduling portion is intuitive. The diary feature helps me keep track of my pain, especially post op and need to track feeling on your follow up. The last part is the pill counter, which really helps me know when I should ask for a refill. You can set the alert at whatever count you want. Something so simple can be so amazing sometimes. The only thing I would add is a forum where people can interact with others who are taking the same meds. That would be so freakin cool. Just s simple message board with posts. I would totally buy into that. That for me is the topper because you can then interact with others who are experience the same issues with the drug. I would take it a step further and add DRG forums. Then can search for posts with the med name. Just a thought..Version: 5.7.2

Exceptional!I’m not usually one to sit down and write a review, but I would absolutely love more people to hear about Medisafe! Someone I was in the hospital with recommended this app from her own personal experience and I was a bit skeptical, but interested. I’ve had a long history of forgetting to take meds so bad that I’ll be off the stuff for over a year or two (very bad, I know). Friends and family would try to help and encourage me to take my medication, but I always had some sort of excuse or just got grouchy with the person trying to help. Medisafe exceeded my expectation by a landslide. With it’s repeated reminders every ten minutes or so and the cute little picture of the beach you get when you log your dose, it feels helpful and also a bit rewarding with this app. I have been consistently taking my medication now for two and half months 100% adherence since downloading Medisafe. And I feel so much better due to taking my medication, too. This app is a literal lifesaver. I will always be recommending this app to anyone who takes medication and has a problem remembering, thank you!.Version: 6.2.21

Great app!Used this app to track my medication post wisdom teeth removal - it was great! I loved that it came with a Lock Screen widget and that you could customize the look of each medication on the reminder. Overall loved the layout of the app, it was very easy to navigate and use..Version: 8.2.14

AmazingI've been using this app for a week and it does exactly what it needs to do. I have to take so many different pills for a month and each of them have different instructions and if it wasn't for this app I would totally mix them all up. Thanks!!.Version: 8.3.0

Brilliant App!Ever since I received my first iwatch this month I have used this app to remind me when my daily medications are due and the alarm alerts me. I have also used the app to record all medications, supplements and PRN medications, doctors and the quick reference to their contact details and I put all my appointments in so I’m well organised. This is brilliant and I wish this technology was in my life a lot longer ago. Great work to the creators! This can save lives and alert health professionals such as police, ambulance and doctors etc of information that is vital to an individual. I recommend this app!.Version: 7.1.24

Perfect appBefore getting this app, I forgot to take my medication frequently. Since then, my yearly adherence report (which this app tracks) jumped to nearly 100%! The notifications are flexible, so you can put in multiple reminders for different meds, reschedule, and change them easily. You can also get very specific with the meds you input, to the point where the color and shape of the physical pill matches the icon. You can also do a variety of other medical needs. Vitamins, shots, etc. I love the additional safety measures, like the interaction report that shows you things that could potentially react with your medication. My favorite feature is probably how you can notify another person of your meds. If you’re forgetful, or even refuse to take your medication some days, people of your choosing with the app will be alerted. Very good. This app works for me, someone with only 1-2, non life essential meds to take, and my elderly grandfather, who has many different shots and medications he must take at multiple times a day, at different frequencies in the week..Version: 6.4.15

Great handy app!Love how it makes a subtle pill bottle rattling sound when you need to take your pill. Doesn’t startle you but a great reminder and easy to log that you’ve taken your medication..Version: 8.1.21

Just What I NeededI have to take a variety of medications. I was using my phone clock alarm with labels telling me what medications to take and when. But it was annoying because I can’t always take my medication when the alarm would goes off because sometimes I’m busy at that moment with something I need to finish. The alarm wouldn’t remind me if I hadn’t taken the medicine. It was done. And I had to turn it off because any alarm is bothersome, especially if you’re using the phone to conduct business. It dawned on me that they’re must be an app for this. I downloaded a few so I could try them out. This is the only convenient medicine reminder. If I don’t respond, it gets back to me in a short while. And the alarm sounds like a soft rattle. I can take the medicine exactly on time, I can ignore the alarm without missing my medicine because this app gets back to me in a while. If I decide to take a medication a little early or a little late, I can easily mark that in my schedule. You just put in the name of the medication. The app and for the dosage and shows what the medications look like, so you have a visual of your medicine, too., It asks how many times a day you take it, and then has you put in the times you want to take it. It takes about a minute or two to do after you’ve done it once. It’s so convenient. No more forgetting to take an important medication. No more trying to remember if I already took that medication today. I love this app!.Version: 6.5.20

Really good app!Really good app! I was struggling to find an where you could diary/journal and have pill notifications too. This app does just that! Only things I would suggest to make it better is a better layout for the diary/journal part. Maybe to make it one of the main pages in the app or add to the calendar so you can clearly see what days you’ve added an entry. It’s nice that it’s hidden away which makes it a bit more discreet, however, I often forget to make an entry because I can’t see it (to remind me to write one). Similar to MyTherapy pill reminder app as I enjoyed this app but it didn’t have the functions that Medisafe has. Another part I think you should consider adding is an appointment section so you can clearly schedule appointment times in within the calendar. This would be helpful to manage all medical appointments and medial things..Version: 6.7.38

Much Better than Setting Alarms!I have taken medication my whole life, but have only recently needed to multiple medications at different times, this app has been an absolute godsend to help me keep track of my medication, and reminding me to take it! The purchase of an Apple Watch, means that even if my phone isn’t in immediate reach I still get reminders, and can mark my medication as taken. This is where I come to the only thing that I think could be improved about the Apple Watch app (it really is very minor and I can’t find anything wrong with the iPhone app). On the iPhone app, if you do not go to Mark a medication as taken more than 1 hour after the original time it is set for (or an hour early for that matter) it gives you the option to set a specific time, say if you took the medication, but forgot to mark it, so you went back to do it later. But on the Apple Watch, this is not an option, it just marks it for that time. The same goes for rescheduling, you can add 10/15 mins etc on but you cannot reschedule it for a specific time. Like I said these are very minor issues which in no way stop me from using the app, but I hope that if these can be easily implemented, that they will be one day. Thanks for creating a nearly faultless app!.Version: 6.7.39

Taking lots of meds made easyThis is the perfect aide memoir and educational tool - info on the meds you’re taking and reminders of when to take them. Perfect for anyone who has a memory that slips..Version: 6.6.33

Even better than apple’s appLove the app. Even better than apples own version. Especially when it comes to tracking if your running low on a medication. Is there any chance you could add a medisafe apple watch complication, so it could be more readily accessed, especially when you miss the reminder by a few seconds and want to mark the medication as taken?.Version: 8.2.01

Great reminder AppGreat reminder for me to taking my meds. Thank you.Version: 8.3.31

Helpful app for sure!I've just started using this app and find it very helpful. I love the reminder tone, "pills shaking" lol. You can choose the shape and colour of your meds....Version: 6.0.8

Great, however...No negative comments noted, however im guessing this app was created with an American audience (or anywhere east of the Oceania)... my reminders are all set to a day later, I can’t find a way to change this. Other than that I am happy with how easy it has helped my med schedule (even when I don’t have access to my iPhone)..Version: 6.4.15

Great app, one suggestionThis app has helped me keep track of my daily medications and my weekly medications, but also appointments that I have and keeping my pharmacy and doctors information all in one place. The notes/diary part is also helpful for when I come across a bump in the road in my life as a way to keep record of if I ever need to bring it up in future appointments. One suggestion I do have is the ability to add multiple photos to these diary entries or a way to have multiple photos accompanied by their individual captions. The reason for this is for physical changes, in my case eczema flare-ups, and to document it with images without having to keep the several photos of my skin in my gallery (personally I would rather not wanna see my inflamed skin everytime I open my phone gallery LOL). But yeah just a suggestion, especially since it would help me and my doctors keep track of any sudden changes. Regardless, I recommend this app!!!!.Version: 8.3.41

Great appGood app to track medication & stay on top of it. I imagine it would be amazing for multiple medications - even for 1 it's useful. Could be a bit more discrete in its notifications though..Version: 4.2.7

Page refreshing gets annoyingSometimes when opening the app, or selecting a day, then scrolling the page and tapping an action… Sometimes the page initiates a refresh, which cancels the action and interrupts what I was trying to do. Additionally, sometimes the wrong day is selected when opening the app? Like the previous day gets selected for some reason. And I’d almost say it takes *too* many taps to take a dose of a non-scheduled med (like paracetamol for example). Some kind of one-tap shortcut would be nice. But overall, a great app..Version: 8.1.12

Only one thing missingReally easy to use and like it a lot. Loosing 1* for lack of choice of alert sound. The pill box rattle is very nice, but one can only hear it when all is quiet. The alternative sounds are all ridiculous voices!! One friend of mine has a 3-second French ambulance sound, which is nice and not too intrusive. Might even change to that app because of it, unless we get some more ‘sensible’ alert sounds. All in all a very good app, though. I think the way the tablet can be changed to look like the actual tablets, pills, capsules etc must make it extreme useful for confused people or those with learning problems..Version: 6.0.8

Very relieved and happy I found this appOn the first day back from surgery, I suddenly was overwhelmed with a bunch of instructions and medication to take at different times. This FREE app was a life saver. I’m so grateful that you designed this app, and also made it free so that people like me can access it. I tried to make an Excel sheet originally, then set alarms, but when you’re drugged out on pain relief you need something quick and simple and this ticks that box. I love how I can set colours and shapes for each of the medications to make it easier to identify what to take. I also love how I can skip a dose, and also add in a one off dose of medication and it shows it clearly in a timeline. Don’t change anything, this app is perfect..Version: 8.3.41

Really recommend it - finally remember my medicationI’m autistic and really struggle remembering my medication. Night time is usually easier because I have medication to sleep but always forgetting the morning. This app I have actually been able to consistently take my morning medication instead of skipping days or taking them at different times of the day. It’s got different health measurements you can add and record including mood, blood pressure anything you want, a diary to record different things that has different labels like mood, general, side effects. There’s a place to record your doctors information and your appointment times. It’s a really helpful app to me and it doesn’t cost anything which being on a pension is really helpful because I can’t afford all these apps that have expensive subscription prices..Version: 7.2.0

Good appGives you so many notifications and that’s exactly what I need but it’s not as annoying some how idk how but it’s just good 🤣.Version: 6.4.12

Excellent tool to assist with your routineI've used this app for over a year now and highly recommend it. It you have multiple meds at several times with different doses on different days it is invaluable..Version: 4.2.8

Perfect app for all my vitaminsI take lots of vitamins and I often forget the afternoon doses so this is a really handy app. Tons of options to schedule apps and notify a family member of you forget your meds. Beautifully designed and easy to use..Version: 3.7.0

Awesome appAwesome app this highly recommended..Version: 6.2.17

ExcellentThe reminders work great for me. Easy to use..Version: 5.8.9

Really great for reminding me to take my medsGreat at reminding me to take my daily meds. One thing I've noticed is that the quantity of my pills isn't always accurate at the tail end. This may be because I've missed ticking it off? Perhaps a "monthly calendar" which shows which days you've taken your meds and which days you've skipped/missed would be helpful to users..Version: 8.0.15

Very usefulThis is a very useful app; am using short term post surgery to keep track of various meds. Working well so far. Some improvements could be the ability to automatically move scheduled times by X amount of hours if you take a med early or late. Currently have to do manually. Also, the ability to note other meds that cant be taken near certain meds, ie an alert to say you took X med at this time, and you cant take Y med until this time..Version: 5.5.6

Outstanding appThis was very easy to set up and even easier to use. Love the alarm reminder..Version: 8.2.10

Tablets removed since the June update - now resolved!I have been using this app for many years without any issues, but since the last update some of the medications are disappearing each day and cannot be replaced. Please fix this ASAP Update: Thank you to the team for sorting this issue. The most recent update has resolved this issue and it is back to being the brilliant app that I have known this to be..Version: 6.6.30

Brilliant appHaving tried other medication reminder apps, I came across this one and thought I’d give it a try. I hadn’t managed to find one that worked for me, until now. This app allows me to set reminders for different meds on different days, with different frequency requirements. It’s unobtrusive but does exactly what I need it to do. It has a raft of other facilities that I haven’t even looked at yet. I would definitely recommend it..Version: 8.3.20

Crashes on launch. This has now been resolved. Thanks for your support! The new point release crashes on launch and I’m no longer able to access my data! I’ve just found a workaround: pop your phone into flight mode and launch the app. After that you can turn flight mode off!.Version: 6.2.10

2 bugs/gripesBy and large an excellent app but 1: the 24-hour time format I've selected for in my phone's setting is reflected in the big time display above each scheduled taking time on the Home panel and in the time-selection dialog, but not in the times the meds are actually really taken (in green); 2: after a recent update I couldn't set the taken time in a circumstance I can't now replicate but could only select to "Take" now or reschedule for a future time..Version: 6.1.0

Helped me adjust to newly-diagnosed chronic diseaseAfter receiving diagnosis of a chronic disease last year, I was suddenly juggling ten pills each day. Each prescription had its own instructions and schedule. One I take every other day. One I take first thing in the morning, 30 minutes before eating. Others I took with lunch, or with dinner. Woah. Medisafe helped me get in the habit of taking my pills on the regular. And once it became a habit, I turned off the notifications and just use the app to check off when they were taken. It’s super customizable and has been a wonderful help. One of my favorite features is the interaction checker. I have two prescribers and while they know what I’m taking, it gives me peace of mind to make sure nothing I take will cause an adverse reaction - or gives me the ability to ask educated questions if there may be a concern. I recommend this to anyone who is trying to get on a schedule with your prescriptions and supplements — for health’s sake!.Version: 6.4.30

VERY good appIt does what you want it to - remind you (and others if necessary) to take your medication. No confusion, no fuss. The only thing I would wish for in future updates is the medication report to be presented as a graph - my medication is tightly time scheduled and I would love to be able to see it as a trendline rather than scrolling through the report entries to review time taken. Other than that, keep it up 👍.Version: 6.4.21

Great appNo more second guessing about whether I've taken my medication, and I can track my pain relief usage as well. Easy to use, great app..Version: 2.2.0

Very GoodNo real negatives about App particularly as it’s free. But would like to see some minor additional functionality 1. A start date when a new medication is commenced & a restart date after a paused without loosing the original start 2. Sometimes colour combination of capsules & pill shape option not shown. An ability tweak the options for these.Version: 8.1.20

Exactly what I wantedI tend to get side tracked about taking my medications and supplements. I’ve spent too much time wondering if I actually took them and then fearing taking them twice ended up not taking them at all. This app has changed that cycle for me. The reminders come up with an attention getting tone and the best part is if I’m busy or ignore the first one they continue at an interval until I open the app and press one of the taken/snooze options. There is no way for me to miss a dose unless I actively try to. Additionally I’m really impressed with the potential drug interactions feature. As I was adding my meds and supplements an alert came up right away with a full explanation of why two of them shouldn’t be taken together. Thats a safety feature that was a surprise but really helpful. The biggest bonus is that the app works with my Apple Watch which honestly is the reason I chose this one in the first place. Even if my phone is somewhere else the alerts continually come up on my watch keeping me on track..Version: 6.2.20

Newly Thyroid withoutI was recommended this app by another person with Thyroid problems. It’s amazing as I have have gone from no medication requirements to now having a few. The app unobtrusively keeps me on track. Highly recommend!.Version: 8.0.12

MedisafeThe best app I have ever had. My pain levels have been improved since I take my meds in timely manner.Version: 8.2.0

Best medication reminderI wanted an app that would reliably remind me to take my tablets on time and would record when I did and when I didn’t take a dose. Medisafe is brilliant at that. The only thing is that I can’t enter my medical condition for the tablets I’m taking as it isn’t an option, even in the search function. Everything else about this app is absolutely brilliant..Version: 6.5.21

Fantastic!I’ve only just started using this app but I’m in love with it! not only the ease to enter pills, dosages, multiple doses per day and different times but you can also enter the physical appearance of the pill for identification! I’m just out of hospital after knee reconstruction and also recently diagnosed type 2 Diabetic I’m taking a number of pills I’m not familiar with. I’ve tried for a week to write a schedule but it’s very messy. This makes it much easier, more neat and I’m far more confident that I’ve got it right!!.Version: 7.2.11

Fantastic AppJust love this app, it helps my day go smooth not having to remember meds and times. Recommend highly..Version: 4.0.9

Good…but has gone backwards. This app was great when I first downloaded it several years ago. Would work seamlessly without a glitch. That was then…lately when they have updated this app, it can no longer accurately keep track of your remaining medication, even when you mark it as taken. I purposely depleted two of my medications, updated the stock to 30 on each…almost 2 weeks in, it says I have 22 in stock, when I have taken already taken 10. The developers know about this issue, yet haven’t worked out the issue. Just go back to the old version when it worked fantastic..Version: 8.1.0

Couldn’t live without itThis app is amazing. I’ve gone from no medication to five different tablets to be taken at different times of the day. Amazing. Also great for keeping track of side effects and sending info to any of your doctors..Version: 7.2.30

GreatAlways forgetting if I’d taken my medication or not ……. couple of times double dosed oops! Great little app to remind me an to keep a log what I’ve taken. Couple of things I’d like to see changed - often I go to mark ‘taken’ and another screen pops up first - can I disable this? Also sometimes I go to mark ‘taken’ a while after I’ve taken meds and it doesn’t allow me to mark ‘on time’ and marks it at the time I log. No big issue really. But a great app and keeps all my meds logged..Version: 8.2.01

Phenomenal Med TrackerMedisafe is one of my favorite and most useful apps hands down. Medisafe is perfect for reminders to take meds and I have mine set to remind me twice per day. What really shines for me is I have multiple prescriptions and I use the app to track how many pills I have for each one. The app automatically depletes your stock as you take daily meds and will remind you to refill prescriptions at a set number of remaining pills. Then it is as simple as adding the new number of pills to current inventory. This feature has eliminated running my stock too low and is especially useful for tracking multiple prescriptions. Another useful tool that I use is the diary which I use to document any medical events that occur making it easy to review my notes to share with my doctors. This is the perfect medication tracking system for me. I can’t imagine what life was like before I started using it..Version: 7.2.41

Amazing appThis is the best one for keeping track of your meds and all kinds of other health trackers - I use it all the time and find it invaluable for my medical issues. Highly recommended for a one-stop shop that does everything you need it to do and does it really well!.Version: 8.1.21

Literal lifesaverI use this app to remind me to take my regular prescribed medications, but also to keep track of PRN medication use including painkillers so that I always have an accurate log of when I last took all my medications. It’s got a really user-friendly interface, and the ability to customise almost everything about medication reminders is really useful. I’m a medical student and I regularly recommend this app to my patients who tell me they struggle to keep track of drugs and when to take them..Version: 6.2.18

Great app. A well worth download. This app has been great after my operation. As the meds I've been on have affected my memory. I highly recommend this app. I will continue to use this going forward. I thought that the videos telling about the different drugs were great and also being able to view the data sheets of each drug was great..Version: 4.2.9

Great toolI’m in my 60’s and had never taken medication until I recently developed a health issue. I was having trouble keeping track of my medication until I discovered this App. It’s very easy to use and provides a comprehensive platform from which to manage my medication..Version: 8.2.01

Detailed and customisableLoving it, thankyou devs!!: - you can choose different icons and colours - according to the icon, it knows whether it's a spray, injection, pill etc - very customisable schedule - persistent reminders - refill reminder - option to suspend medication rather than delete completely - I can put all my meds in and what they're used to treat What I'd like to be introduced: A label for who the medication is for. My dogs need meds too, and I save them alongside my reminders. If there was a label for who is taking the meds, it would make it a little bit easier/accessible..Version: 8.3.0

Easy to use, reliable & convenientI've tried other medical tracking apps but Medisafe is my #1 choice! I take a lot of medications at all different times of the day. My afternoon medication times are typically when I am out and about so when I hear the chime go off I know its time to take my meds. I only miss doses if I don't have my phone on me. It has been a life saver! If I don't take some of my meds I definitely suffer. Medisafe has been so helpful. I had a very pleasant experience with Brian at customer service. I had used the free version for about 4 months. I recently became a BCBS medicare member and one of the benefits of their Blue365 program is that its free to upgrade to the premium version of the app. I did have to create an entirely new account but he spent a long time with me troubleshooting until we could make sure there was an email account associated with the medisafe account. He was so nice and thorough. I highly recommend Medisafe, both for the app and their customer service!!!!.Version: 6.2.21

So close, but wishing for one more functionMedisafe is perfect for me as it helps my obsessive behaviors and forgetfulness. I am busy and my mind sometimes wanders and I forget to take my medicine. The only problem I run into for me is not seeing a report of my past refill dates in conjunction with how much medicine (pills, etc.) I had left at the time of refill. Example, I have five pills left on the date I refill my 30 day supply making me have 35 pills as of the day I refilled. Why is this important for me? Because even with the refill button, refill reminders, and daily reminders to take medication, again I forget. So if I forget to notate that I did a refill, and I forget if I took my medication, I can look at the report and see what my last refill date was prior and how many pills I had as of that date. Then I can do the math and remember. It would also be helpful to see on the report how many pills I had left after I took my daily dose. But I love the simplicity of this app. For 98% of the time it keeps me on track with my medication..Version: 5.5.9

Great app!I have ADHD and need to take one kind of pill to help me cope with it and three other kinds of pill to help me cope with the first pill and then there’s birth control and painkillers and some pills need to be taken every other day and it’s all very confusing to keep track of but this app is very helpful. Features that I enjoy: ✅ Custom times and frequencies for when each dose is taken (you’d be surprised how many other apps I’ve used to track my medications didn’t have this) ✅ Doses organized into sections to make it easier to keep track of what needs to be taken when ✅ The medicine cabinet menu with a list of all the different medicines I’m currently taking ✅ Custom dose sizes for each medicine and the ability to mark down that you’ve only taken half a dose or 2 doses etc. ✅ Many different icon options for medicines so that at a glance I can tell them all apart ✅ Keep track of upcoming appointments with each doctor as well as their contact info and what their specialty is and what medications they’ve prescribed you ✅ I don’t use this feature but adding medfriends so you can help others keep track of their medications if they struggle with that A few features I might suggest for future versions: ▪️Limits for as needed medication. For example with medications that you can’t take more than 4 nights in a row or that you can’t take more than a certain amount in a 24 hour period (such as painkillers). ▪️I read on the FAQ that there’s a feature in the US app where you can see drug interactions between medications. Is there a way to bring that to international versions? (by entering ingredients yourself etc.) ▪️Custom sections with the pillbox (instead of the default morning, afternoon, evening and night sections) so you can have as many sections as you want (like possibly assigning a dose to a section yourself instead of it automatically being assigned by the time you need to take it). I only need the morning, afternoon and night sections and the empty evening section is just taking up unnecessary space on my pillbox screen, plus occasionally I have to take antibiotics and they need to be taken 5 times a day which is inconvenient when there’s 5 doses but only 4 sections. ▪️More avatar options. This isn’t as important but it’d be nice to have more variety with the avatar options both for the user (although the option to have a custom photo as your avatar is great) as well as for your different doctors. I have 3 different doctors who all look completely different in real life but I have to use the same avatar for all 3 of them which gets a bit confusing telling them apart at first glance. Even just different hairstyles or glasses could help, or possibly a custom photo option. ▪️Custom colors for pills. Instead of having to scroll for miles through many different color options for pills there could possibly be an option for setting a custom color as a separate button below all of the current color options. Possibly even a similar feature for theme colors if it’s not too difficult to implement All in all I really enjoy this app it’s helped me a lot and I can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store for the future!.Version: 5.7.2

Great appThis is a great app but it would be nice if you could change the time on a medication. Eg. I have a dose scheduled for 9pm daily. Sometimes I take it a little later and forget to enter it in the app. I’m unable to go back and change the time it was taken. Other than that, it’s a great app!.Version: 6.3.3

Excellent appLove this app and would be stuck without it. Just needs a volume option on reminders. I’m busy listening to a podcast through my AirPods and suddenly Morgan Freeman is yelling at the top of his lungs. Can we sort a notification volume please?.Version: 8.1.21

Great App but ...I like this app but there’s one thing I really need and just can’t find it in an app. My old app had it but the developer stopped developing and it’s now stopped working. What I need is something that warns me of potential OD. I take several pain medications (some opiate based, some paracetamol based and aspirin too). Prior to using my previous app I have on occasion made terrible mistakes by starting each day as a new day and simply making sure I leave four hours in between doses but this isn’t the case because your 24 hour period is exactly that and. It in isolation to the previous day. I’d love to see an overdose warning option it’s mainly what I’m looking for in my medication app and most pain sufferers will be too. We only take pain meds when we need them and when in flare of pain this can be continually but still as hoc..Version: 6.7.04

MeI just love this App, it helps me all day, that way I know everything about my meds…...Version: 8.1.12

MarvellousI cannot believe this app is free! Sends you timely reminders to take meds - god knows where I’d be without it as I have short term memory issues after a cardiac event. A great app for also tracking measurements like blood pressure, pulse rate and weight. Fabulous app that’s made a real difference to my life. Even got doctor reviews of all your medication - something my consultants never did - want to know what clopidogrel does? Just click on the medication and press the i button for an in depth video on what your meds do. Great app! Only wish I could give it six stars! Thanks Medisafe!.Version: 7.1.2

Detailed, customizable, intuitiveI’ve been dealing with a severe COVID complication for the past eight months, with lots of medicines and lots of changes to medication as doctors determined what was going on. On top of that, doctors asked me to track my weight, how nauseous I was, and any side effects. All the while, I’m exhausted and “out of it.” This app has made managing ALL of that easy. It’s intuitive (except adding measurements from the main screen could be simpler; you have to do a lot of duplicate tapping), highly customizable, and the amount of detail is amazing. I love being able to snooze/reschedule doses, edit or add notes to individual doses, and see interaction. I also like that I can add my own annoying alert tone so I definitely don’t miss a medication! Thank you for making a difficult time in my life a little easier. You’re doing great work..Version: 7.2.20

Overall really goodThe only thing that has been bugging me with this app is that my doctor recently changed my dose so instead of one pill daily, I'm using a pill cutter and taking 1 and a half pills every morning. There's no way to change the dosage to half pills, so that would be great if included in an app update..Version: 6.7.21

Very goodA great app, you get to put notes on each medication and diary note and everything but mine keeps crashing. If it didn’t crash so often, I would give it 5 stars.Version: 6.7.04

Meds I take are automatically suspendedI have medication that I have to take every day. I take the medication first before I go to this app to mark them as taken, but some of the medicine that I need to take are automatically suspended even when I don’t want them suspended. Can you please help me with not having my medicine automatically suspended?.Version: 8.2.20

Great App!MediSafe App Review -- Whilst the initial learning curve took me some time to climb, I use MediSafe for my medications after a heart transplant. It took a while for me to realise that I could call my medications anything I wanted, not being required to select one of the suggestions. Particularly so when my dosage involves half tablets at one time in the day and complete tablets at other times. I use it to manage my dosage and record various other measurements such as blood pressure, SPO2, weight, glucose and temperature. If asked what my dosages are, MediSafe is what I refer to. That is how important MediSafe is to me. Quite literally, it keeps me alive :).Version: 6.7.23

VERY GOOD!Reminds you and has all the perks. Any questions you have will be answered when you get this app it solves for you..Version: 6.2.22

Bug (love the app tho)I’m trying to see if my med friends took their medication but it says that they dont have any medication reminders set (even tho they do) and we both have the current version.Version: 8.3.10

Wonderful App!EDIT: I’ve raised my rating from a 4 to a 5, as the wonderfully responsive customer service team has informed me that there are options to resolve the issues I presented, and that I simply missed. It’s nice to see a company being so active with helping its users! I’ve been using this app for about a week, and so far, I think it’s great! There seems to be a tool for just about anything you could think of, and it’s really helpful! The interface is beautiful, and everything is totally customizable. The only thing I would change is that there isn’t (from what I could find) an option to turn off the notifications it sends you every five-or-so minutes reminding you to take your pill. While I can understand that this may be helpful for some (and should, perhaps, remain the default setting) the medication I take isn’t going to harm me if I take it a few minutes late or even forget a dose entirely (although I obviously try to avoid this). As a result, I find myself getting annoyed with the constant notifications about my medicine when I already have the little red badge notification on the app icon reminding me that I have a pill to take. I wish there was an option to turn these off. It also would be nice to have a setting for those of us who only take a fraction of a pill as a dose. :) Overall, though, I’d highly recommend this if you have a difficult medication regiment, of if you’re simply a forgetful person, like myself!.Version: 5.7.2

Very helpful!I have used other mex reminders and found them annoying. Sometimes because the snooze was only 10 minutes (you can change this on this app), some for the notification tones, (played the same tone as email so I disregarded it), and others for not letting me go back and “take” a med I had missed, much less give me the option to put what time I took it. This app allows you to have a “Medifriend” who gets notified if you don’t snooze or mark the meds as taken. It even gives you the option to skip a dose. If you skip it, you can go in later and set the time you ended up taking it. I am diabetic and it is so great being able to go back and see what time I used my shot, etc. I also take pills as needed, and I can keep track of that. Overall this is the best app I have found in the App Store. My friend also got it and she loves it too! We have synced our meds with each other and can see what was taken and what was missed. Very helpful!.Version: 6.2.12

I never have to ask myself whether I took my pillsThis app is absolutely perfect for reminding me to take my medication and keeping track of when I took it. Thanks so much for creating this!.Version: 8.1.20

A life changing appOccasionally you come across an app that quite frankly changes your life! I now have to take various meds 5 times a day, and these must be spaced over the day otherwise some not work and others will give me an upset stomach. This app has changed my life. I am no longer anxious about missing the window to take my meds. I love the way it starts with a gentle reminder and gradually the reminders get more impatient. I also like the option to snooze, if you don’t want the reminders to interrupt for a while (you can change the length of your snoozes), as well as the option to record the time you took the meds if you forget the click “taken”. I could go on and on!.Version: 7.1.40

Helping me Live LongerI have to take two medications which are essential in my health and more precisely in my living. I have tried a number of tricks to take essential medications for maintaining my health. I done a pretty good job for a number of years but as I aged it became more difficult to maintain the schedule. My daughter is a Pharmacist and I was taking to her about my fear of missing doses. She recommended your program. I have maintained an almost perfect schedule sine installation of your program. My only wish for this program is if I was allowed to program my own tone as a reminder. The tone with the program is of pills rattling in a bottle. I am a farmer and hard of hearing. I seldom hear the alert sound. I have hearing aids and when wearing them I can hear the reminder tone. Working with equipment around the farm I seldom wear my hearing aids on the farm. Thanks to these folks I may get the reminder late which is better than never. The alert flashes on my screen repeatedly unti I cancel it so better late than never I do get my medications taken 99% of the time. Thanks for a wonderful tool in maintaining my health..Version: 6.7.32

A Gem!Amazing app! Keeps track of multiple meds with ease! Makes taking multiple meds easier! I like it a lot!.Version: 8.2.20

What a genuinely great appI have had a knee op and was discharged from hospital with 7 different drugs.. dicier this doses, different frequencies and thought I would have to draw up a spreadsheet so I didn’t forget anything ... this app is brilliant, tells you about the drug, gives you reminders on what drug to take when. Is very easy to set up and even then a tells you a bit about each drug... I have never left a review for an app before but I am so impressed I just had to....Version: 6.7.38

Excellent “meds” reminder AppI’ve been using this app for a while now and still the best in the App Store and you can set a voice reminder from star wars to minions and there’s nothing like Morgan Freeman waking you in the morning reminding you to take your meds… I would give this App 10 stars if I could as I hardly ever miss a dose while using this very efficient day to day medication reminder App, We’ll done👍.Version: 8.3.32

Excellent product and supportRecently downloaded this app flooring I life changing diagnosis for my partner. It is enabled me to juggle the pressures of the day together with the need to maintain a strict medication regime. I highly recommend this product, not only does it do what it says says, but it does it in a simple way, making its use easy. It’s also reminds went to reorder pills. Excellent product for someone who has a full time carer role..Version: 8.1.21

Great app - but a couple of suggestionsLove it - I know my compliance is better with this app. The current version however has a bug when entering the refill number (on iPhone). The keyboard won't go away after entering the number and you can't see the rest of the box. I assume there must be a Save button hidden but because you can't touch it, it is impossible to leave the page. Have to restart phone to leave page. Other small annoyance is that you can't set irregular medication times. I take one med on Wed night and Sun morning (every 3.5 days) but can only do this if I set it up as two different weekly meds..Version: 5.4.2

EfficientEfficient and accessible in apple watch too ☺️.Version: 6.6.33

Interval alerts? It’d be really cool if there was a mode that allowed you receive alerts at a set time interval from your first dose. I take stimulants so the time I take my first dose varies depending on when I wake up, and then I take each subsequent dose in three hour intervals. The app is great for helping me track what time I took my last time, but it gets a bit old dealing with notifications when I don’t need them or having to go in and reschedule each day..Version: 7.2.20

Very HappyMy previous app creator ceased work and the app was crashing constantly. I struggled with all the different ones on the App Store. So far I love this app. I take a multitude of meds at different times and then take extras a lot too which I needed to record. This app allows me to do everything I need to do with it. I have even created a profile for my dogs medications!! Very happy with this so far!.Version: 5.7.0

Best app so far!I’ve been using this app as a caregiver, very user friendly. I find the pill identification on the list adds a level of safety to not only see the names of the meds but the visual look of the tablet. There is a stop /start date feature that can be missed if your not paying attention, but it’s there and is a great benefit when dealing with things like chemo meds. I think the Medifriend feature is beneficial on so many levels, BUT..I’ve asked for ..still waiting.. Again, as a caregiver with so many meds coming in, this app really needs the ability for TWO people to have access to the meds list and schedules. I find I need to have family member sign out so I can go through, add meds, change schedule on my iPad..then sign out and have them sign back in to then resume being reminded and checking off the meds on time. I also find as the Med friend, what I input into the “primary account” isn’t always what’s seen at the Med friends side. This could cause serious confusion in a medical emergency trying to go through accurate meds list in hospital environment. I hope this fix comes quickly as it’s so vital to such an amazing app!.Version: 8.2.13

MédicamentsBeaucoup d’options facilitantes 👍.Version: 8.3.03

Great appI have got to 53 without having to take medication, but bam I now have Stage 4, Lymphoma this fantastic little app is easy for me to use and keeps me on track with what medication to take and when. Thank you to the developers for something so simple but a life changer..Version: 6.5.0

This app just keeps getting betterThe latest update to this app adds really useful new features as well as improving existing functions making them simpler and easier to use..Version: 8.3.10

Fletch LondonI have used this app for just over a year, at first I would have rated this App as five star however, these past six months two problems have arisen. Firstly, I have two monitoring systems in place. One of these has never failed but this app has failed twice. The app’s ability to count is very poor, at every repeat of prescription the pill count is invariably five to six pills out. Interestingly it is by both odd and even numbers. I take two types of pills twice a day. Recently the app is confirming the pills have been taken, ten to twenty minutes later a reminder has appeared saying I have not taken the pills. Mine is an iPhone 11 and all software and apps are up to date. Just a note, one of the comments made related to problems with repeat prescriptions, I have had the same problem and researched the reason for this? It’s to do with the source of the prescription, in my case, the local surgery. The problem there is high turnover and lack of staff. Getting to see a doctor was bad enough before Covid, now after Covid it’s virtually impossible, most locals now go straight to A&E. The waiting list is circa 5 to 6 hours..Version: 8.2.01

Fabulous app! This is a great app which has helped me to have much less pain cos it reminds me to take my meds regularly and on time. I highly recommend it..Version: 4.0.6

Fantastic appWith my epilepsy previously I was questioning myself if I had or hadn’t taken my medication and at times completely forget to take it. Well this is no longer happening with this app. It easily pairs with my iWatch and sends me notifications, I can also record when I take a medication on my watch. I also like the fact I can add a med friend so if I forget to take my medicine they are advised..Version: 8.1.20

Best App Out There!!I’ve used this app for almost 3 years now and it is the best medication reminder app out there!! I love it because it does so much more than reminding you to take your medications. Everything you need to keep track of is nicely organized. Adding your medications to the med cabinet and being able to see any interactions between them is a great feature! You can log which Dr’s prescribe your medicines and their specialty (i.e. Sleep Specialist) which is amazing when you have more than 1 Dr/Specialist. Reminding you when to call in a refill is another amazing feature. You can log any symptoms your having, your vitals and more. This app also lets you create another profile. I never thought I would need to. But my dad was just recently diagnosed with cancer. So I was able to create a profile for him and keep track of all his medications symptoms and appointments in addition to my own. I couldn’t ask for for anything better! Thank you so much Medisafe! Your a life saver!!.Version: 6.4.26

This app is fantasticI’m not one who usually writes reviews but this app is an exception. I have a lot of health problems and take loads of tablets, some at certain times and others with meals etc. I have memory problems so this helps remind me when to take my medication and if I don’t it will alert my partner, this still gives me my independence to manage my own medication but reassures me that if I forget then he will alerted. I’m not very good with technology and was really concerned about learning how to use the app and remembering it, but I had no reason too it’s so easy so if I can then anyone can. Over the past year unfortunately he has also developed a lot of health problems so he also uses the app for his medication and being medically qualified he even said how good it was. My advice definitely give it a go..Version: 5.4.1

Perfect app.Medisafe provides reminders & keeps records for your medication. It’s persistent without being annoying. The app is easy to navigate & has lots of helpful options such as selecting the shape & colour of your particular tablet. It provides information about the medication you’re taking, including listing other medicines which should be avoided whilst taking your particular tablets. It’s easy to select your options such as ‘taken’ or ‘skipped’. It also records the time you take your tablets so you can tweak the time of your next dose if needed. Definitely recommend this app..Version: 6.0.4

Love this appThe options on this app are almost infinite and once I’d got the alarms to work this is perfect for reminding me to do meds 8-10 times per day. It’s easy to use, lets you group medical info in one place (heath appointments, measurements, doctor’s details, medication details and when these are taken or missed) and there are a range of alarms and tones to choose from. Really recommend this app - even before upgrading, there’s so much functionality here, and the app developers are great at responding to problems and helping..Version: 5.4.1

Never again forgetLove this app. It reminds you gently when it’s time to take your meds, and if you don’t act on it there will be another reminder. Better than a simple alarm on your phone..Version: 8.2.20

Brilliant AppI love using this app. It’s simple to use but very effective. I regularly used to miss taking my medication purely because I was busy at work and didn’t take any notice of alarms as I was always being notified of meetings etc. Since using the app, I’ve been taking my medication more or less on time, and it’s also great for keeping track of what medications you have and how much you have left. I particularly like that I can set a limit to what medication I have left so that I know when to reorder. The only thing I would like to see added is more options in the time of medication. I’m a Type 2 Diabetic and have to use items such as Lancets to draw blood, wipes to clean the area to be injected and also needles for my FlexPen. It would be nice to be able to add them on to the list of “medication” as it is easy to run out of needles unless you keep track of them. This way, I will be able to keep track of everything I need, not just tablets and jabs. Other than that, this is a great App, and I felt it necessary to do my first ever App Review because this would be helpful to a lot of people.Version: 6.7.32

Good, helpful appThe only thing I find annoying about this app is that it sends you a notification to take meds you already logged earlier than your scheduled time in the app. For example, I can log doses of my meds that I took at 7:45AM but the app will still send me an alert at 8AM to take the same medications I’ve already logged..Version: 8.1.0

ExcellentAn extremely helpful app. Much better than I expected..Version: 3.6.3

Still the bestUPDATE: After nearly 9 years I’m not needing Medisafe as often anymore, but when someone needs monitoring I’m able to keep everyone’s dosages and times straight with reminders on my phone and watch. Keeping this app! ......... I’ve been using it for a few years, and with a family of six and an aging parent who lives alone I’m grateful for this app. I’m alerted to the meds I need to take, as well as those my family members may need. I’ve also got a record of what’s been taken when we’re feverish and I’m not completely aware of the time, so I’m not going to give anyone a dose too early, either. I’ve kept records of each member’s weight so I can give the appropriate dosages and the diary allows me to note side effects, and changes including temperatures, so I can check with my doctor without fear I’ve forgotten something or a date which is my normal. Then, when my phone locked me out this was the only app to return ALL of my info after I had to set up my phone as a new device! Works with my Apple Watch. Gives me drug interactions warnings and videos about how to take each med. So important when both of us adults were post surgery at the same time. Long ago I had one problem and the staff helped me fix it right away. Can’t say more great things about it without sounding like I’m being paid!.Version: 7.0.01

Excellent app and amazing team behind itThe app is amazing and helps me keep track of my medications, I have a medical condition that causes me to be confused and forgetting if I have already taken my tablet was an issue until I got this app. The team that work on this genuinely care, I contacted them because my condition wasn’t listed. They took the time to contact me back within 24 hours and it was not an automated response. I sincerely wish all the success possible for this app and the team making it. I tell anyone who will listen to get this app! It’s a life saver, quite literally! Lots of love from Australia! ReeRee.Version: 6.2.5

PeaceI’ve titled this review, peace for the simple reason that’s what it’s given myself mostly, but also my ever loving wife, who is always checking I’ve taken my pills and asking me what time did you take that one and when are you due the next, when your taking as many pills as I do it does start to become quite confusing, not so much for the once daily but then you have the, take twice, three time and of course the four times a day spread equally through the day, so you can imagine the long talks that accompanied them, but now after the first day or two conversations have turned to more meaningful things such as what should we have for tea, so all in all I would highly recommend this app..Version: 6.7.0

Almost a perfect appMy daughter and I take lots of medication. The one thing we struggle with is calling in refills on time. Anyone who take lots of medicine for an indefinite period of time knows that taking meds on time every time can be a challenge. Some times we have more medicine than we need and sometimes we have less. (Spilled our meds a time or two) Anyways, I love the app. It helps us with daily reminders to take our meds and helps me remember to make sure my daughter takes hers. The one thing that could be better is the refill reminder calculation. For example my daughter only takes one of her meds only on the weekends. She get prescribed anywhere from 30 to 90 day supply. The issue is that the start and end date option doesn’t take into account for the frequency. If I know my daughter has a 30 day supply and I select specific dates like the weekend, it would be more helpful if the end date counter would reflect the number of specific days and not just everyday. Sure I could pull out a calendar and count the weekends until I reach 30 but I feel like that defeats the purpose of the feature. I a hope future update can fix this. Did I mention I love the app :) Thanks.Version: 7.3.19

Love ItMakes my life so much easier. Helps me to remember to take tablets and what I’ve taken when I can’t remember if I have taken it or not. Love being able to add notes for symptoms I’m having to help track my health and possible reaction to medications or food. It’s great having the extra options like tracking blood pressure and fatigue levels. All round I’m extremely happy that I’ve found this app. Love it..Version: 8.0.0

Literally wouldn’t survive without itWithout this app, I would’ve forgotten too many pills and ended up far worse for wear. After nearly two years, I’ve recommended this app to many other MTF trans friends or older members of my/friends families. While I tend to track things like weight with my FitBit, keeping notes of when I’ve had blood tests or having appointment reminders is invaluable and superior to apple notes/reminders. 10/5. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 6.7.36

Not bad but still could be improved for the “modern day” pill takerVery comprehensive meds library and color/shape icons. Main reason I use it is support for Apple Watch to log meds without picking up your iPhone. The Apple Watch support alone is a knockout criteria for me in selecting one of these pill tracker apps: you don’t have it, I don’t use you. But it could use some updates, including: * Better reporting. Currently, reports do not show the dosage you took. E. g., if you take a half of a pill, which they DO support logging, the report does not show this. This is required to calculate your average dose taken for “as needed” meds, which doctors are increasingly requiring you to tell them. * Allow at least two day view on the Apple Watch for meds taken. If you take meds during the night, as needed, you cannot see what you took after midnight. You have to pick up your iPhone. Also add full display of the dose you took as well on that list. E. G., if you took one-half of a 10mg pill, it should at least show you took 0.5 of 10mg of that med..Version: 6.2.18

Just an all around great app!The developers of this did an amazing job of integrating all the medical information needed for each drug. I also like the fact that I can input a new drug whether it be DayQuil or Zyrtec and within no time at all gives me possible interactions they could have with my current medications. The reminders are a plus. I also like the ability to add in the time you took the drug if it doesn’t correspond to the time you have them set to be taken. You can also set in a custom time you took them. I also like the custom refill reminder feature that tells me when I am low and also like that it keeps track of the number of pills left in each bottle as long as I put in that I took them. Just a great app for those who have multiple medications and sometimes find it hard to keep track of which ones need refills and which ones don’t, as well as interactions and videos about each drug. 🙂 Great Job!! Love it! 👍🏻.Version: 6.2.21

Really good appThis is a really helpful app for reminding me when to take my medication. It also gives really helpful advice about the medication I take. My only issue is that sometimes if I’ve taken my meds a little earlier than when I’ve set it for, and I mark it as taken on my schedule, it then also gives me a reminder to take my meds at the usual time. This could be dangerous if I’ve taken my dose but for whatever reason have forgotten about it. If I then take a dose thinking I haven’t had one this could lead to me overdosing..Version: 6.2.10

Lifesaver app!!I recently started taking daily prescription meds for the first time in my life. I’m a bit scatter brained, so I knew I needed something to help me remember to take them every morning. I found this app, and I’m so glad I did. It’s so easy to use, set your time, and mark as taken. And best of all, I haven’t missed a day with my meds since I started them a month ago because of this app. There’s times in the morning when I’m in a whole other world, and if it’s wasn’t for the little notification that pops up, I seriously would forget to take my pill some days. I also really love how you get multiple notifications if you don’t mark it as taken. My favorite feature has to be that when you mark your meds as taken, you can reopen the app throughout the day and it’ll show you the exact time you took them. Because sometimes i’ll be doing whatever and suddenly start freaking out thinking I forget to take my meds, but when I open the app, it’s right there that I took them, which is such a relief. I’ve recommended this app to friends and family already, and I will continue to do so, I love it!.Version: 8.1.12

Keeps my pill-taking on track!A really useful app which reminds me when to take my pills, and keeps doing so until I've done it - EXACTLY what I need. So far, my only criticism is that it makes a bit of a meal of changing time zones. It seems to me it needs to know EITHER that the dose time should be the same time every day (eg: midday) in local time, whatever time zone I'm in, or it should be the whatever time was set in the original time zone, adjusted for the current time zone. What it doesn't need do is to ask me what to do each time I move to a new time zone! Not a problem, just a pain!.Version: 7.3.01

I’d be lost without this appI’ve been using Medisafe for a few years now and have come to rely on it to remind me to take my pills. It means I don’t miss any doses, take too many of any tablets, and get my painkillers at regular intervals so I don’t end up leaving it too late. The “med cabinet” allows you to update your current medication, change tablets at any time and is a very handy go to chart that lists all your current meds. I’ve handed it to many medical professionals and assessors when they’ve asked what meds I’m on, it’s so much easier than hunting out copies of prescriptions or reeling them all off. You can also export all your current data to the emergency medical information on the iPhone meaning any medical personnel treating you can easily access your current medications and health info. I recommend this app to anyone who mentions they struggle to manage their meds, even my GP is now recommending it to other patients! I decant all my pills for the day into one pot, carry that with me and take the relevant pills when the app “rattles” to remind me it medication time. I can’t rate this app highly enough, a superb tool for anyone on multiple meds or chronic illness..Version: 5.4.3

Very easy and intuitiveHassle free and easy to use. Great Customer Support team too. Recommended it to my Neurology team.Version: 7.3.01

I love this app 💜💜💜I love using this app and it's helped me ensure that I take all my medication at the right time. I like the fact that I can add my healthcare professionals on the app and assign medications to the, I also like how I can add my appointments into the app to keep most of my medical information in one place. I would like to see a section added into the app for care plans and health information (eg health conditions that I suffer from, allergies & blood type). It would also be nice if the box for notes for adding appointments was bigger and allowed for the text to be on multiple lines and form paragraphs. I would also like to be able to add links to websites when adding contact details for my doctors and to be able to put a custom image for doctors instead of the preset avatars. I would also like to be able to search for a medication that's in my medication list instead of having to scroll to find it because I have quite a long list of medications. It would be nice to also be able to add a doctor or appointment from the + button at the top right of the screen that brings up the ”What would you like to add?” list..Version: 6.7.02

So far excellent, with much potentialAt first I didn't like this app, but after a few recent updates and getting used to using it it think it really sets the standard for such an app. The tools cover all aspects of taking medication you would expect from such an app. The ability to add a dose tool is good, the reminders are spot on too. The medication reports are a fantastic idea especially for those who have difficulties monitoring medication. If I was to provide some feedback for improvements it would be to cover more medications, I feel the ability to add a new prescription is dependent on what the brand/medication is called in the USA, which uses different names for some of the medication. Overall the app is brilliant but needs a few tweets to make it universally useful to all that can use it. No app comes close to this app in its category for usefulness..Version: 6.6.10

BrilliantThis app is brilliant! I’ve always struggled with remembering to take my meds for hair loss everyday, I’ve always taken them for 2 weeks and then forgotten for a few days and ended up probably taking them 2 or 3 days a week to the point I had just given up on taking them, and thanks to this I’ve solid taken my meds every day for 6 months and totally regrown my hair! THANK YOU.Version: 8.3.33

AMAZING.[Writing this on May 14, 2023] I hardly EVER leave a review on ANY app (I can only think of one other app that I have expressed my praise for), but I needed to for this one. It is so helpful, especially with the repeat reminders every 10 minutes if I have not yet taken the medication(s) (which is ESPECIALLY helpful due to some of my mental health issues). (I also like the little “have a good week” and “have a good weekend” messages they give at the start of a new week and the weekend.) I also really appreciate the detailed birth control scheduling, so that it can also include the inactive/placebo pills at the end of a cycle. I also used the app for a course of antibiotics, which I had to take twice a day, and was able to set it to remind me at two separate times in the day (12 hours apart) and have it stop reminding me after I had taken all the pills in the bottle (I just had to enter how many pills there were in the bottle at the start of that course of antibiotics). It was also very helpful to see my adherence percentage for that course of antibiotics because it was very important that I had taken them at the scheduled times and had not skipped any. I know this was very long, but I just wanted to share how much and in how many different ways this app has helped me manage all my different kinds of medications and to make sure I am taking them on time. Thank you :).Version: 8.3.20

Literally a life saver!I wasn’t expecting much from this app due to the fact it’s free. I am pleasantly surprised! I suffer with Epilepsy, Asthma & Neuropathy. I found myself forgetting to take either my morning dose or evening dose of different meds. I would also forget if I had taken them and then double dose. Since this app I have taken them every day and night. It reminds me to take them at 9pm and 9am (you set your own time). It lists all your meds, which you tick off as you’re taking them. It will then record what time you have taken them, which is useful if you ignore the first reminder. I have noticed an improvement in my symptoms which is amazing! Highly recommend anyone to download it. Also, once you list your meds it has short videos explaining what the meds are for with plenty of information.Version: 8.2.01

Love itThis a fabulous app for med management. Especially for people like myself who take many different meds...and tend to easily forget exactly which ones we take when we need to tell a doctor or pharmacist. It’s just so easy to forget the names of one or two, or the doses, when you take it p different pills throughout the day and night. This app keeps track of every medicine you take, what the pill looks like (color and shape), the strength of the dose, and how big of a dose you are prescribed. Also, this app will send you reminders each time of the day you are to take your meds. I have a morning pills reminder, an afternoon, and an evening reminder. One of the best features is that it keeps track of how many pills you have left in each bottle and will send you a refill reminder 5 days before your refill is due (by default, but you can change the number of days when it reminds you). This app also keeps your Doctors names and contact information along with all of your physical/mental conditions that you suffer with as well as what conditions each individual pill treats. Overall it is an amazingly useful and very helpful app!.Version: 6.2.1

First five star app review I’ve givenThis app is great, does exactly what it says it’s going to do, and doesn’t bombard you with crummy ads. Love it!.Version: 8.1.0

Excellent app with everything requireThis is an excellent app that I have been showing the nurses and doctors when I was in the hospital and everyone saw me adding my medication myself was amazed how great the app is. Not only it shows the colour shape and the dosage of the medication, but it can have my appointments as well as writing my medical journal (diary) as well as searching the words in my diary. This App is amazing and is one app that all I need after testing at least half a dozen of other apps for comparison, this is the best! One minor improvement I would suggest is to add a half a dosage icon/picture for a circle (semi-circle) of a tablet, so it shows I have to cut my medication in half and hand half the dosage. This was done in the half oval shape but not the half-circle one. I hope the next update will have this to select. Keep up the great work and I will continue to show the nurses and doctors how good the app is as a regular patient into the hospital. Thanks for creating this wonderful app for us. (And great loud alarm when it is in Do Not Disturb mode, I needs that one not to misses my medication).Version: 8.3.33

Great idea! This is a really a great idea, and is very well done. Helpful and works well. The only suggestion I would have is to (if possible) make the default notifications type an alert instead of a banner (banners are easy to miss)..Version: 3.6.1

Keeps getting better! Now with larger iPhone screen support, this app just keeps getting better and better..Version: 4.1.0

App saved my life!I don’t usually take prescription medication but have had to recently due to medical complications from an emergency hospital visit. When I do I usually research the med and it’s side effects. Even in my research I don’t always come across every interaction it has with other foods or meds. Seems like more meds keep getting added to my care every other day. My doctor called me this afternoon with a new med based on some lab work. No mention to interactions with my current meds. My husband picks up the meds from the pharmacy, no mention by the pharmacist of any interactions. Load the new med into the app and check for interactions and critical alert and red is what I see. Immediately call the pharmacist and not only could I not take the med at the time I was planning, I can’t take it with 2 of my other critical meds. If it wasn’t for this app I don’t know if I would have found this interaction on my own but my doctors and pharmacist most certainly should have. With my vitals and current condition there was a high chance that I would have stopped breathing in the middle of the night. Thank you seriously! This app is amazing and I will keep using for every family member and love I can use it when I go down to just my supplements..Version: 8.1.0

Amazing app!I really love this app. It helps me to stay on top of my game with my meds and make sure I don’t skip a dose or take one twice (#ADHD). However, it would be awesome if it were possible to have the Apple Shortcuts compatibility!!! Maybe in an update soon? ;).Version: 8.0.23

Fantastic!!! However…I’ve used a bunch of different apps to keep track of my meds but I prefer Medisafe. It’s user friendly and it’s straight to the point. On top of that the reminders are very persistent and LOUD. Being shamed by the constant sound of shaking pills until I actually take my meds is actually very helpful. The ability to organize my pills by dosage and shape/colour is also a nice touch. My main problem is that I can never sign in for some reason- I’ve been trying to make an account because I use this app across multiple devices and it would make my life easier but I’ve had no success. However, if you don’t mind this small quirk then you’re good to go..Version: 8.0.23

Great appList mediations Easily by predicting the actual medication.Version: 4.3.3

Extremely HelpfulI appreciate how helpful this app has been. I initially downloaded bc I needed a constant reminder about taking my meds until I could push a button that said I “actually” did. What I discovered with this app ended up being so much more. With taking so many meds it’s hard to remember what to take when. Some require I take so many hours after taking another. Or not eating so much time before or after taking it. Or take with full glass of water, take with or without food. It gets confusing. I was able to make my own schedule as well as put those notes in about each one. It also shows a picture of the pill so I’m grabbing the right one out of the pill case since they are all together. Pill cases are great but not everything falls under the am, afternoon and pm schedule. I also enjoyed watching a video about the pills I take. Oh and I forgot, I was also able to forward to a friend of mine so he gets alerted after awhile if it recognizes I haven’t taken them. I can’t say enough about how blown away I’ve been with the app and all of the extra surprises. I have forwarded this app to everyone I know taking medication daily. THANK YOU to the creators for such a well designed and useful app..Version: 6.3.4

Keeps Reminding Until Pill Taken !!!What good is a single reminder that you don’t hear because you are temporarily separated from your smart phone?! And then you don’t see the notice on phone’s screen because you are busy with with some task, watching TV, etc. This pill reminder app keeps reminding audibly & visually every few minutes until you pick up phone & manually tap “snooze” or “taken”. “Snooze” lets you set how long you want the app to wait before it reminds you again! One suggestion for improvement is a louder audible reminder for people watching TV or poor hearing or both. Perhaps let user set volume. A defect that could cause confusion that results in patient taking wrong dosage is as follows. For one of my prescriptions I am supposed to take 2 pills at same time once per day. But reminder says: “2 pills: take one”. Some one not mentally sharp might take only one pill, which depending upon the medication & the medical condition for which it is taken could have serious negative consequences!.Version: 6.2.0

Fantastic app with terrific supportI have been using Medisafe since 2013 to reminder me to take my prescription medicines that I require after having 4 operations on my back. It has everything you could want in an app for tablet reminders and with the comedic reminder tones it makes you laugh when the reminder is due. Thank you to Marissa and the Medisafe team for restoring full features for me and providing such a great app..Version: 6.3.2

Just what I was looking for!As someone who takes multiple medications at different times throughout the day…I really depend on MediSafe to remind me. It is simple to use and now I never forget. I also love the detailed descriptions of each medication - thank you for making this app!!.Version: 8.2.11

FeedbackThis app has been helpful but on the report page could you show the dosage taken (eg half a tablet). In accurate pain management where you’re trying to cut down this view would be really helpful to get a clear idea of peak times where pain is not so good. Also would love if you were able to add a simple symptoms check in. Pain medicine is when required but you can’t take too often so a reminder every 4 hours in my case to check symptoms would allow me to then decide to postpone the pain medicine rather than looking like I skipped a tablet completely if I were to put a reminder to take the tablet every 4 hours..Version: 5.5.0

Works greatSent this to my sister in law to help her with her husbands ailment and his medication habits It really helps.Version: 8.1.0

Super helpful with constantly changing dosesI've been up and down on doses and its so simple to adjust each day's dose and keep track of how many tablets I have left..Version: 4.2.5

It's not pretty......but it does the job. The interface for adding/editing pills is a bit clunky and confusing but once it's setup it works really well..Version: 2.2.1

Happy user.I changed to Medisafe about three months ago, after my previous app became unreliable. I take medication for Parksinsons Disease every 2-3 hours and it’s so easy to think when the reminder goes off, I’ll take it in a while, and then forget. I like that it continues to remind me at intervals until I mark it as taken.. The help and support I received when I had difficulty with something , has been awesome ... I had given up on fixing the problem a few days ago, but they actually made contact with me, again, to help me rectify the issue. So thankful..Version: 6.3.2

Best App EverIf you’re someone like me that has to take regular pills and often forgets then this is the app for you. I don’t think I could live without this app anymore. I’ve put all my regular medication on and if I have to have a course of antibiotics where it’s a one week course, I can add those and it spaces out the times for me to take them. I have recommended this to several friends who have now downloaded this app. I recently went away for a week and forgot to take my meds with me. The local pharmacist at the place I was staying said he could get me some temporary meds but needed to know the names and dosage of everything I took. Without this app I wouldn’t have known but I pulled up the app and the list was there with all the details. Life saver! I would give this app 10 stars if I could!.Version: 5.5.7

Easy, effective, and great reminders! This app has been great to manage my sons medications! As he has several with different types of application and times to be given, this app has been the only way my husband and I could keep everything straight! It’s easy to setup, use, and I love that the reminders are simple but effective! My favorite part is that the reminders show up on my Apple Watch! As the medication doses change or one medicine changes, it’s extremely easy to update medications as well! This is better than any tracking method I could have come up with! My only wish was that my husband and I could both track the medications from our respective phones for our son using the same central schedule. I think it’s available in premium, but I’m not sure. It would make managing the medications slightly easier. However, overall we love Medisafe and it’s ease of use!.Version: 8.3.41

I like the app so far, but...My reminders are not obvious. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong, but I’ve never heard the tone. I have an iPhone 11 and I have looked through settings and tried to make sure it’s working properly. But it has not yet reminded me to take one thing that I would have forgotten. Instead I use it as a supplement logger. I think it will improve, so I’m hanging in for now. In terms of logging I’m also hoping for growth. The app said it was Apple Health connected, but it’s for metrics that I track elsewhere. When you set up a new medicine, it is not clear whether the dosage should be per pill, or for the combination, if you take multiples. I am hoping that in the future this will be really clear, and that the dosage will connect with Apple Health. That way I will end up with a permanent log of: 3g vitamin c taken on date. I suspect this will happen in the future. Otherwise, very nice app. Allows me to keep tabs on the sheer volume of supplements that I take..Version: 6.3.2

Excellente applicationJe suis nul pour gérer ma prise de médicaments et avec cette application qui me rappel de la prendre ça va bcq mieux !! J’adore !!.Version: 8.2.20

Useful appThis is a must have app for medication. Now I don't need to set alarms and figure out which mess to take..Version: 5.1.7

A life saver for managing medsAfter an injury and prescribed multiple medications all at different times and doses, this App has been a life saver to be able to keep on track of what to take and when. It’s so easy to use..Version: 8.3.42

Great even if you don’t need it!I have never enjoyed taking meds, due to an overactive gag-reflex, and due to dyslexia-linked memory issues I looked for some app-based help. Medisafe was top of the App Store list for a reason - its simple, intuitive interface pairs fantastically with a no-nonsense reminder system. It has an inventory tracker, which can remind you when to order your prescription, and an appointment tracker which will alert you when time is getting close. If your doctor allows it, you can even have the app send a progress report, so your doctor can track your adherence! It’s been an outstanding help to me, and made what used to be a real nightmare, become just another part of my day. Thanks Medisafe!.Version: 5.5.7

Very GoodPreviously would hang or crash every time. Now bug free. Great!.Version: 8.2.20

Only one thing missing...This is a wonderful app, especially for those of us who struggle to maintain a medication schedule. When you forget to take (or log) a dose, it sends a notification to a user-determined contact (or multiple contacts) alerting them to your missed dose. This is great, BUT could be made perfect by allowing you to manually (or, preferably, automatically) send that same contact a second alert/notification when you end up taking the missed dose. Sometimes I’m napping and miss an afternoon dose...my friend gets notified that I missed the dose and ends up worried about me...when I wake up I take the missed dose (maybe an hour or so late) and log it in to the app...but I have no way of telling that friend, “Hey, don’t worry, I just took that dose!” Now, you might say that I could simply call or text that friend...but some people’s illnesses and/or disabilities are such that they avoid any direct social interaction some (or all) of the time...and this is why it would be amazing to allow the user to have an option (a simple button?) to notify their friend that the missed dose has been taken at the time the missed dose is logged. Otherwise, a perfect app! Thank you..Version: 5.6.0

Excellent app, but no more.....This app is probably the best. I have to take pills every 5 hours so it is essential I am reminded throughout the day and I have been dependent on it for over a year. However yesterday the app was updated and the ability to set a loud alert sound was removed. I can no longer hear the alerts, sounds like pill rattling in a box, very clever but it means that the app is now totally useless for me. I have already missed my pill time as my phone was in my pocket and I didn’t hear the alert. I’ll now have to find another app - a great shame that the developer have ruined this one..Version: 6.1.0

Such a good appCan’t recommend it enough, it’s perfect. Look no further!.Version: 8.2.20

Just brilliant! So happy with this app. I’d tried 4 others before this one and they just didn’t do what I wanted! They were very frustrating. I didn’t initially try this one as someone said you had to pay a yearly fee, but that’s only if you want premium, and I’m not at that stage yet. So I’m super happy with the way it is so far. My single issue would be that I’m in Australia and the drug names are obviously different, but there are heaps of other countries in there, you would expect one as big as Australia to be. So it’s a little harder setting up as they don’t come up automatically most of the time, sometimes they don’t have a registration for them at all. But that’s ok, I’ve got them all entered in now, so the hard work is done. Other than that it is just brilliant!!! Love the ease of adding in an extra Med such as a pain killer during the day that’s so uncomplicated! No other app was that easy..Version: 6.2.19

Essential and Non-essential Meds/SupplementsI'm taking this in conjunction with other supplements which I may or may not take. I would like to be able to mark something as non-essential such that if I miss it, it wouldn't count against my % score. There are some supplements that are nice to have if I get the time and I think my body can take on the extra dosages. Also, can you add food and beverage category so that I can ensure I take the right diet with the meds/supplements. Also, the ability to move schedule based on dependencies. If I wake up late, and two meds need to be taken two hours apart, then all notifications are going to be irrelevant. This app is really good but if you have those three features, this is really heaven of a situation..Version: 6.1.2

Amazing Grace The Best AppMy son needs meds and wants to become independent. The free version alerts me to when he misses. This is such a good app. I’m even considering upgrading just to support it. A lot of great free info in the app and tracking other things too..Version: 8.1.21

Best of its classIf you use regular or as-required-medications, this is the app to keep you informed with all the information about the drugs included and regularly updated. The Reminders option and refill tracking works perfectly. The display of the meds is really clear. They even have fun voices for reminders! Believe me, I have tried many of these apps in the past but this one is definitely the most comprehensive. Totally worth a very strong recommendation..Version: 6.3.4

Medisafe MagicCommenced using this App 3-4 months ago. I find it easy to use & it makes management of my regular medications very effective & ensures I never miss taking any. The ability to skip and/or snooze taking specific ones is very beneficial. I recommend any person to try this App.Version: 6.2.5

Simple, effective, usefulI have recently needed to start taking prescription medication due to recovery from a knee surgery, and I knew I would never remember the complicated pill-taking schedule, so I downloaded this app. This app is amazing. The interface is so simple and easy to look at, it is easy to add your meds and change the doses, times, etc. Two of my biggest pet peeves with apps like this are that they push their premium at every chance, and that they are loaded with ads. This app, although it does have a premium subscription, never pushed it on me, and never made me feel like the free version wasn’t enough. Additionally, there is not a single ad. Not one. That is unprecedented for apps this day and age. The notifications it gives you for pill reminders are perfect, and it is very easy to reschedule pill times. I haven’t really explored the other features aside from the pill taking schedule, but I do see the potential in the appointment tracker, interactions tracker, etc..Version: 8.2.20

Thank you for creating this app! This app has been a Godsend. I use my calendar to remind me of pretty much everything but this app goes much further than just a reminder service. You can set how much of what type of medication you need to take and has the function to set multiple medications and times through day and night. You can track your feelings, side effects and so much more. I love that it has the sound of a bottle of pills when it’s time for your meds! I would 100% recommend this app, it’s brilliant..Version: 8.3.10

Extremely Helpful!I needed an app to help track the medication I’ve been taking after undergoing several fusion surgeries. After looking at a few, I found this to be the best to fit my need and more. Of course, you can input meds, mg dose, time(s) to take, and daily dosage. The app also monitors interaction with other meds, updates on meds, always to input dr info, schedule appointments, new feature for pharmacy and meds delivery. You can keep diary and notes of meds and send to your doctors, if needed. Because I initially found staying on schedule a problem, this has made things very easy which is important if the medication is going to work. As a note, I have not upgraded to the premium option because I am on disability and have limited income, so I do use the features described from their free options. My only con would be to allow some of the settings changes such as color and home screen styles in the free option. Everyone cannot afford to pay monthly cost. Pro, this is an excellent app for those seeking to track multiple medications. Thanks and I hope you continue to update free features!.Version: 6.7.31

This works, but has annoyances. This app works, but it has some problems I find very annoying: 1) Often, a 10-15 second delay before giving me the screen where I can mark my meds as “taken”. This is particularly annoying when I’m trying to concentrate on something, or when I have to wake up to take meds. 2) Strange logging of the “taken” time; for the first hour (IIRC), it’s whenever you hit the “taken” button, which might not be that close to the actual time, depending. After that, you get to set the time by hand, accurate to a minute, with an annoyingly long scroll-wheel. Very often this nowhere near the actual time, which is as easy to forget as my iPad is to mislay..Version: 7.3.21

Great app!Works well and helps alot! All issues were resolved. Old: Keeps restarting my phone so I'm downgrading the rating. I would not advice anyone to use this app. It's few weeks now and there is no fix released. App is unusable. Old comment: App is all good except in this new version on ios10 it keeps restarting my phone after few minutes of using it. Notifications work. But when i open the app and mark few things as taken, the whole phone just restarts. And this only happens when I use this app not any other. When you guys fix this I will change my rating..Version: 5.1.7

Just what I wantedA simple reminder app without a need create an account. I tried another which I believe would be the perfect app for storing data and accessing information with consideration to keeping information secure but really all I wanted was a simple reminder app and this one is perfect for my needs..Version: 6.2.16

Absolutely EssentialAfter having surgery and needing to take several new meds at different times in the day on top of my old meds I needed an app. I downloaded this one and have never looked back. The features of this app are fantastic, from being able to chose the appearance of the medication you are taking to if you need a reminder of a refill a certain days before you run out. I will be recommending to all my friends and family. Super easy to use and really helpful..Version: 7.1.31

Most helpful app I've come acrossRecently I had my wisdom teeth out, and was given a tonne of pills to take. I've only ever had 1 set to take in the past so dealing with 3 was quite a struggle. This app made it so easy to manage, and the reminders have definitely saved me from my forgetfulness more than a few times. It makes it just a little bit easier to focus on the main goal, recovery and getting better. Will definitely be recommending this app to others. Thank you!.Version: 2.3.0

Love this app but is missing one critical feature for meOnly been using this app for a few days but have found it to be light years ahead of other apps. Just the ease of use makes all the difference, and the ability to take all the meds I have at one time instead of having to do it one by one is awesome. My only gripe is that for some reason these types of apps are simply incapable of factoring weekends for reminding when to reorder. Where I’m from, doctors do not work weekends and it’s impossible to reorder meds on a Saturday or Sunday. I’d be forever grateful if the developers of this app could take that final step and do something no-one else has ever done before with their apps. Please add a feature where the app checks whether my meds run out on a weekend and then let me know a (user defined) number of days beforehand so I can ensure I don’t run out. At the moment I can only set a ‘per med’ number of tablets and have to factor the weekend manually. Which means I typically have to calculate 5 days worth and, if it’s not due on a weekend, wait another 2 days to order, often resulting in me forgetting and running out..Version: 6.3.1

Medisafe: very useful with a few caveatsThis app has really been a great help to me in managing my elderly mother’s medications. When I realized that I was reliably giving her meds to her on time every day but often forgetting my own, I dug a little deeper into the app and quickly learned that it allows you to enter both your own meds and those of a dependent. One problem I noticed - I don’t know if it rises to the level of a “bug”, but it is an annoyance and a source of errors- is that when it sounds a scheduled notification that it’s time for meds, it doesn’t necessarily pop up the correct user profile. I take me meds at 7 am, and the notification sounds at that time; but it puts my mother’s 9 am meds in front of me to be marked as taken, and I must summon up a menu to manually select my own profile in order to mark them correctly. There are many notification sound clips from which to choose, some of which are excruciatingly annoying! That, however, is a plus, as I find I’l do almost anything to avoid hearing Dr. Evil nagging me to take my meds!.Version: 8.3.01
