Link work permit to app/licenceHey guys Really enjoy the ease of use with this app being a one stop shop. I was wondering with the latest requirement to apply for a work travel permit - is there anyway of being able to link this to the service nsw application? Would be good to have all this information in one place rather than trying to search for an email with my issued permit or certificate?.Version: 6.19.0

Checking Out is problematicWe are being heavily requested to check out of venues when we leave however the app only allows you to check out of the most recent venue. If I go into a shopping centre, I check in to the centre on the way in. I go into a cafe within the centre and check in, then check out when I leave the cafe. I can’t check out of the shopping centre now. There needs to be a way to bring up the past check ins and check out. There’s a list of past check ins but you cannot select them to check out..Version: 6.13.0

Permits and Vaccine Status in App?Hi, great job with the app. Is it possible please to add a section to show permits please in the app - considering we all need to have our permits handy in Sydney’s lockdown areas to be able to work. Even if it’s like a PDF link to our permits would be handy having it all in one place - same for vaccine status - although I heard on the news this is being worked on. Keep up the good work in these difficult times..Version: 6.18.0

Been great but... please fix app false positivesWell today I haven't gone anywhere, just woke up and moved about the house (where I live). And yet apparently I've come into contact with a Covid case somewhere today....What the?! How can I come into contact at a location that requires check in when I literally haven't left the house at all today?! (I have a screenshot of the notification for today [8th January 2022]) I figured it was a glitch so checked for app updates. Nope none. Im wondering if there is anything I can do to fix the issue. I even checked for a text to my phone -no nothing. Is this one of those fake things? Should I take it seriously despite not going anywhere at all today that requires a check in? Has someone hacked the app? Literally I have so many questions. No wonder people are talking of removing the app from use. I have enjoyed the app and how useful it has been but why throw false things at me when legit I haven't gone anywhere short from my own bedroom and the kitchen in my house. Seriously what on earth is going on. Its clear to me why the politicians want to move the app on. It is also clear this app need to be fixed badly. False notifications of positives or a requirement to be tested when the user in question hasn't gone anywhere all day never mind left the place he or she lives is a little ridiculous. Please fix app issues, I beg of you!.Version: 7.6.0

Check In History - check your dependantsI’m finding the app really good - got it for the Covid check ins but starting to use it for other services! One thing - I’ve just had a notification of a casual contact which is great but the record shows I was with a dependant - now that could be my husband, son, daughter or mum and the app won’t show me who it was! Please look into allowing us to see who we were with - it could make a big difference! If it was my 72yr old mum or my unmasked 7 yr old, I need to treat the notification differently. Thanks :).Version: 7.2.0

Suggestion for the Covid alertThis is just a great job! Especially the Covid alert feature. It helps to save a lot of lives indirectly, by reducing amount of works contact tracer have to do. Thank you! BTW, I am suggesting to copy the corresponding events (events with red Covid-19 case alert) on the top of the history list, and also to the main screen of the app. So that we can immediately find out which activities does the alert regarding to. It would also be good if the alert itself already contains the info of the corresponding events..Version: 7.6.0

Generally goodI find the app easy to use but why do we have to sign in to the app once we have already signed in to the phone? Apple has some of the highest security available yet once we have signed in to the phone, we have to sign in to the app as well. Update, thank you for pointing out that the auto lock can be extended to 4 hours. This should make life a lot easier..Version: 7.3.0

Works well, always room for improvementSuggested ideas to improve: * Would be great to have the ability to setup remember me functionality so the app stays logged in for some period of time. User may set time. Say 1 hr max. Useful for quick visits to shops, where you’re in and out. Wearing a mask and having to constantly enter pin is annoying especially if hands are full. * when already checked in to a venue and opening the app, can you make it so the app automatically goes to the check out screen?.Version: 6.15.0

Really great app, just one little problem.I have had this app for quite a long time. I hadn’t really used it a great deal until COVID. I work on the hospitality industry so I use this app on a daily basis. I’ve even helped a lot of people download and navigate the app. One small problem and a few of us working in the industry have spoken about. There needs to be a way to save dependents details. It would certainly save people a lot of time checking into places. Other than that great app guys.!.Version: 5.33.0

Excellent AppThis app has steadily improved since it first came out. Maybe because of the feedback in the app I’ve been providing supporting lots of Senior Australians. Next improvement for Senior Australians is the inclusion of the NSW Seniors Card. There is a good separate app for finding out about discounts on goods and services but you still have to carry the physical card. I’m already using the Service NSW app at every venue. Please let me prove I’m a registered NSW Senior..Version: 7.5.0

App works OKIt’s great that NSW has gone to the single check-in app. Very sensible. This app works OK, but I think it would work better if it opened straight to the COVID-safe check in, as that is the function that most people are using at the moment. Also, please configure the COVID-safe feature so that it remembers your dependants. It would be great if we could select our dependants with a tick-box, rather than having to put their names in over and over again. Today, I took my daughter to the city, and had to type her name in 7 or 8 times..Version: 5.32.1

Just a noteThis app is great. Very convenient to have on my phone considering I basically have everything I now need on my phone, including my digital driver’s license. Very easy to use. One suggestion is that I hope they add a NSW firearms license because it is the only digital license they are missing and one that would be very convenient to have seeings that it is the only license this isn’t on there..Version: 7.3.0

One important UX improvement needed.Good work on the app team and thanks for trying to keep us safe! I think Check Out’s numbers would go up if you opened the app to the Check Out screen if say I’d Checked In somewhere within the last 30 minutes or so. It’s currently a slow UX to check out because the app doesn’t open to your last check in. I can imagine a lot of people don’t bother when they’re in a rush. Especially when you’re going from place to place and checking in at new places..Version: 5.33.0

Difficult to activate, now working wellKept getting "something went wrong" error when I tried to set up the app today. Rang Services NSW and got some story about having to first log into the Services website on my computer and link my licence to something or other. Didn't have time to follow that up today, but tried to set up the app again late at night and it worked perfectly. Sounds like whoever I spoke to at Services NSW was talking rubbish, and the app set up process was simply overwhelmed during the day. But it's working very well now, with driver's licence and Working With Children card now really accessible..Version: 5.0.0

COVID Check in/outHi team, no real issue with the app as I have found it to work well. One inconvenience that I think would make the check in/out experience smoother would be removing the requirement for log in. As some have stated, face ID with a mask is troublesome and fingerprint or pin’s just take more time. If checking in and out didn’t require this additional step it would be easier and faster to comply. Obviously other data or options should be locked until log in is completed..Version: 6.16.0

Easy to use. Go NSW!Nice easy to use app. Would be good to add click to renew. Can remove the waivers.Version: 4.2.3

Huge improvement & fixed bugsUpdating my previous review where PIN requests and resets only produced errors. Bug seems to be fixed and I’m pleasantly surprised by the easy to use features esp. digital drivers licence (also like the tutorial in that) I’m yet to try COVID check-in so I can’t say if that’s still clunky and still tosses you out in under 5 minutes (b4 you get a chance to check out for fast visits) but with log-in improvements that won’t be such a pain Point I guess. Well done on the glitch fixes.Version: 5.32.1

Great look and feel!Great look to the app! Looks awesome. I picked up a bug: I originally went to ‘sign up’ and entered my email address, and I was then prompted to log in (as I already had created an account, my bad). On log in I was taken to some sort of back end which had information but no digital licence etc etc. after a bit of clicking around I realised it may have been due to the route I took, which was confirmed as the usual route from the home page worked perfectly. Just thought I’d flag!.Version: 5.7.0

Multiple notifications same covid + caseThis app is excellent for license/rego/vouchers etc. Easy to check in. I do get anxiety however every time I get a new notification to show a covid + location, only to look and find it is one I’ve already received and it was quite some time ago also… any chance of an update that prevents multiple alerts for the same location? Like maybe a notification received toggle button or something that then mutes all following notifications?.Version: 7.7.0

Works decently most of the timeI’d like to suggest a feature for the app in regard to the COVID check-in. It would be great if the app sent us notifications asking us if we have checked out, since many of us forget to check out of locations. It could be opt in (you would have to choose to have the alerts set) and maybe even choose the frequency i.e. “send notification 10 mins/20 mins/1 hour/etc after last check in”. Also sometimes we forget to check in as soon as we enter for whatever reason, so may be good if we could edit the check IN time as well..Version: 5.32.1

Case alert glitchI do love the ease of checking in, licenses etc on my app. Although, I keep getting multiple notifications from Service NSW about being at a case location with covid, however, when I enter the app to check my history there is only three locations (that I’ve already been notified about) yet I continue to receive notifications without any new red highlighted locations listed. I wonder if this is a glitch, or my app just hasn’t uploaded with the notification. Worth looking into..Version: 7.6.0

Touchup ideaCongratulations for the responsible‘s of this application and a big respect for the developers behind the scene for the neat and tidy job, A small suggestion if I may, On the licenses and credential section under these licenses there are some dots, each not represent a license, it would be nice if you could swap between licenses from the dots under, for faster swap. For example if you have an app on the last page on your iPhone, instead of swapping the pages till you get to the last page you can just log tap on the dots under and then swipe to the last dot, This way you can go to the last page faster. Now take this and apply it to the license and credentials section in the service NSW app..Version: 6.5.0

Love the digital drivers licenseGreat to see the NSW govt digitising it’s services and adopting technology. I was able to renew my license in a few minutes on my phone rather than heading into the RMS. Such an obvious improvement, great work NSW state govt. Two things could be improved: 1) ability to show license from an otherwise locked phone 2) ability to see the whole license on a single screen rather than kind of scrolling down to see the whole thing.Version: 5.0.0

Brilliant AppThe app works great - very easy to use - easy to check in and out of venues. - licence works great. Recommendations - with Pfizer vaccination on weeks away and talk of proof of vaccination to get into pubs and other venues it would be handy to have this app be able to store the offical vaccination record with our licence. Now would be the time to implement this to make it easy. What would be cool is if places started using NFC tags provided by Service NSW that instead of opening the camera app you could just place your phone new the tag as you enter the building to launch the checkin. Also possibly using location services you could send a notification saying did you want to checkout or this venue. Thanks.Version: 6.1.0
