Was glad that the iOS app is just as great as the desktop app. Took to an Apple Store and they couldn't even get the phone to release diagnostic info because the VPN was denying the tool they use to get access to the phone. They tried manually turning it off in settings but it kept reconnecting each time and refused to turn off (that's the auto reconnect feature in the VyperVpn app). Unlike other VPN software firms, Goldenfrog is really off shore. Time zones being what they are, usually I manage to engage a tech online, in real-time or via email or both. In addition to their other software offerings, VyprVpn is in my opinion a very smart Vpn that can be utilized for various platforms and IoT’s. Sure on one occasion, Christmas or New Years Eve I encountered an issue that was not due to their software. I left a detailed message on the Goldenfrog website and in minutes I received an email and a followup the next day. How many times have we read in the news, albeit months or years later, that XYZ company, known for their splashy Vpn product was less then honest with their clients. That XYZ was indeed keeping logs of their clients online activities and or turned over their client logs under threat of legal action. How many times? I value my privacy. If you do not take steps to protect your privacy, no one else will. To sum up my review of Vyprvpn, off-shore, no throttling, no logging, good customer service and you will never have to worry about bandits or thieves stealing your info.
