✓ The app is Awesome, but this might or might not be goodIt is awesome but I think it might be better if their was a piano roll because then the music can become more unique and also plugins like fl studio. Unless it is meant to be more for beginners and not too complex so the loops are still really awesome though. Please may you also maybe be able to make a connection available to connect to ableton live and continue your song on their please because that might make the song that you recorded more advanced when it is edited in the piano roll, when it has had some filtering, some plugins, and automation and more things like that the song could sound even more awesome but then you also still might be able to buy and get free sound packs that you can download. ✓ Massive!I have had this on my iPad for quite a while and it has been just brilliant. An absolute breeze to use and I have used it for live performances which went down a storm. Lots of add ons for pennies and a very generous amount of free packs. There are also some very usable effects and add ins etc that are all a breeze to use and none of it breaks the bank. I have created some very listenable and momentous songs that I can listen to over and over and now I can do it on my phone. I am running an old 2016 iPhone SE with 4 inch screen and I have not been dissapointed! It works just as beautifully as on the IPad and the small screen really doesn’t make a lot of difference. There are so many features to tweak, add, share and create, for me it is enough and my party friends just love it. You, the creators of this app should be congratulated, it’s a masterpiece and I have had so much from it for paper round money! Awesome! I have a few Novation hardware/ software gadgets and they are all exceptional and I didn’t have to risk being a bank robber to get them. There aren’t enough stars to do justice to a review. ✓ Another immediate and inspiring app from AmpifyThis is one of the musical apps that I use everyday in my line of work because of the great loops on offer and most importantly, the ability to mix and match with your own loops within the app. Some suggested improvements for the developers: 1- in the editing mode, the ability to easily move the pads to reorganise them within the grid, 2- the ability to transfer a project from one iPad to another in the same way you can with GarageBand with Airdrop, 3- the ability to duplicate a project on the same iPad as you can with GB again. At the moment, if you edit an existing Soundpack, when saved it will erase the original and there no easy way to restore the original afterwards. ✓ Fantastic app but...Unless I’m missing something, there’s still no way to move projects between different iOS devices. In other words, there’s no way to start working on my iPhone and then pick up on my iPad. This app desperately needs iCloud syncing. I can bounce a project from Wave to Launchpad but somehow can’t go from Launchpad to Launchpad. Also, the store navigation experiences are completely different among Launchpad, Wave, and Groovebox. Things like the menu and store should be unified across all three apps. Also, there needs to be integration between Groovebox and Launchpad and Wave. Currently, my work is siloed in Groovebox. Lastly, for playing back recordings in Launchpad, it desperately needs background audio playback and precise standardized playback controls - pause, fast forward, rewind, etc. Right now, if I close the screen or move to another app during playback of my recordings, it completely stops the song and I have to restart it from the beginning. However, it’s got one rather big flaw which in my opinion hold it back. Why can you not delete unnecessary recordings? My hand almost never presses on the iPad screen in the right place, and I must have upwards of 50MB worth of these unneeded 30sec samples, and I downloaded this app less than a week ago. Edit: I apologise for my stupidity. I have got rid of all my unnecessary samples, except for one. I have recently encountered a glitch which is preventing me from being able to delete any of my in-app recordings. ✓ Amazing but a few suggestions…With launch pad you only get 1 kit if you don’t want to spend money, with a lot of apps they make it trashy so you spend money but not launch pad. The kit that they give you is very good, it has many options that you can use. Although the kit is good it’s not good enough to produce music. I got this originally to play around with but there’s not every instrument. In the first kit you get it has about 2-4 sound effects, maybe 4 instruments total. Bass, drums, something, something. There is no better app that I’ve ever seen for playing back existing tracks broken down into loops and remixing them with effects. I love the fact that we can import our own loops that’s what makes it the most usable app. It is an app of endless possibilities and satisfying results. The one thing missing however came with the update today which is the labels on each pad. Unless there is a way to turn the labels back on in which I am missing, I see this is a step backwards, although I do like the design. ✓ Inspiration for making musicI Absolutely love launchpad it my go to App when I want to start any track and it usually evolves into a full blown live set that gets exported to Ableton live using the export Ableton live session function that loads straight into live exactly the same as it appears on the launchpad App, I also use the Novation Launchkey mini connected to the iPad and works seamlessly I also use the Akai APC 40 mkii when using Ableton. If you are going to purchase Launchpad then do yourself a favour and get yourself BLOCS WAVE & GROOVEBOX and unlock all the features coz you will want to use them I spend a lot of time sampling in blocs wave and love it it’s a constant evolving creative space, only advice would be to have folders to organise your own samples and loops and the ability to over dub on the same sample but other that this very small wish I LOVE AMPIFY 😁🙏👍🤟.TZFHILLVersion: 7.16

✓ Must Have App For Beginners & ProsI have been using this for a long time. It’s the first app I started to use to make some basic tracks and with it I started learning to use other apps and hardware that linked and synced with it as I progressed with my little bit of musical fun. The simplicity is a good way to get into making music but as you learn the app can become more complicated as you start to use midi controllers and Ableton Link. The app is great for triggering samples while looping live and with AUM it is the perfect app for mixing with synths and drum machines and with a hardware launchpad or launch control the app is totally controlled without touching the iPad. The iPhone version is a more limited version but I can’t complain about it with the 3D Touch being an interesting function. The only thing missing is anything that can export the project files to use with Ableton or use the samples in another app. If it had the export of the other apps like Groovebox it would be 5 stars and the greatest app ever. The midi control is self explanatory with the launchpad and launch control being hardware versions of what you see on screen but it could be more customisable when running multiple apps linked together although I only recently started linking midi devices. ✓ Enter the masterminds of Ampify.I’ve made two albums with this now (one was made with MUSIC MAKER JAM) and is essentially what you would find with a Launchpad. Like in Ableton with a real Launchpad, you’d load a project and press the buttons to launch a sound. That’s what you do with this app. I’ve used this app since late 2016, and I must say, I’ve never been more amazed. All the sounds (including ones you buy) are royalty free so you can make revenue with your creations. This app also implements Ableton Link (there’s a tutorial of that on Ableton’s site) and AudioCopy. You can also link this app with other apps developed by Novation. The updates and tweaks over the years were introduced to us “end users” of this app, with a seamless integration which meant the benefits these updates brought with them, were able to be enjoyed and used to enhance something we were already doing on the previous platform and the effect was immediate. Simply put, l never felt the need nor was l required, to spend hours or even days re-training myself on how to use the app. No such drama with this one..! ✓ Not a music makerThe app is misleading and as much as I love to use it, it’s not a music maker, it’s a music mixer been as it has prerecorded sounds that you simply turn on and off, whilst adding effects. You can’t create your own beats, melody or percussions. There is another app you can use that is much like this one only it is a music creator and gives you more freedom to create your own music, but I won’t mention it here as I don’t see it very fair to the Devs of this cool app. Still love the app and remixing sounds with the effects, it’s certainly a lot better on the iPad rather than the iPhone as it gives better usage of features all on one screen rather than trying to flick to different screens for effects and the launchpad..Pixel.daveyVersion: 11.11.1

Everything is top notch in this app, and the algorithms to transpose and change tempo on loops is unsurpassed. The app is powerful, smooth, easy to use, and well supported. SO much fun! Small ask: ability to duplicate a current song? I like to use similar loops when I’m experimenting, and would be nice to start from a familiar template of loops in my library. Large ask: I know it’s been mentioned, but would be nice to have a sequencer to use drum hits. I recently got a new iPad for Christmas and stopped using my parents Apple ID and got my own. I have family sharing so that I get all my old purchases but when I re-downloaded launchpad it didn’t have audio import, so I logged back into my mum’s account and deleted and downloaded launchpad again and the import was unlocked. So I went to sign back into my account and it was still there, so far so good. I later went to buy a soundpack I really liked and it asked me to sign in to the App Store. The learning curve was almost non existent as this app is so user friendly, the sound packs are cheap and there is always a new one every week or two. ✓ The Most Amazing App Ever....Until it crashesLaunchpad is a very important part of my production workflow but the crashing during recording is starting to frustrate me. I have a high end 2 gen iPad Pro 12.9”. I can handle multiple hardcore apps at the same time with no issue but Launchpad crashes every other session while recording. I have lost multiple perfect sessions due to this. You all need to do one of two things, preferably both. Add a saving option so you can come back to the same point in your project or, better yet, add a timeline that we can record directly to with a save option. And before anyone yells at me about how “that’s not the point of Launchpad”, why not. I love this app, please fix this. One more thing, the entire app does not crash, just sound output. Could do with the ability to save each soundpack into a folder (or record bag) so it's easier to find the tracks you want. Also when a track is loaded I need to see the title of that pack as I'm playing it, just so when I'm loading another on the 2nd iPad I don't load the same pack. Little gripes though for what is a fantastic app. Even the sound packs you think you're not gonna like (Trap,techno & so on) can be mixed with house beats & pitched down so you get an altogether different sound.
