Ability to import Keys from iCloud makes it a really streamlined experience for SSH server mgt. I also contacted support with a question and got an answer back overnight... Recommended 👌.Version: 6.0
✓ Works great!I still use my laptop for anything complicated, but iTerminal is great for quick simple tasks. iTerminal Pro is even better without the advertising, and the price allows me to login to my servers from my iPad when I'm on the go. ✓ Does what I needI use it to connect to servers I administer via ssh, it works well for that. Allows use of keys for logging in, works well with my Logitech Slim Combo keyboard on my ipad pro from 2016. It is nice to be able to have a reliable ssh client that I can carry around with me for when I need to fix somethiing. Had a problem show up recently (12/2021) where the Apple iOS change clobbered the arrow keys, messaged tech support and they got right on it. Note that the copy function is kludgy when copying large blocks of test, but I don’t need to do that often. This is my most used app other than mail and browsers..Version: 8.75
✓ Great app, but could be improved for iPadOSThis is a great app, and reasonably priced, but it could really do with supporting SlideOver and SplitView on iPadOS to be truly great. A lot of the time, I want to be able to look at a web page for reference/instructions while using the terminal without switching back and forth the whole time..Version: 8.20
✓ Telnet works but SSH doesn’ts. - UPDATE NOW WORKS READ BELOWUPDATE I have eventually got through to support who asked me to check my settings. What had happened was the menu options when you get into SSH is reset ROOT password. In my exploring the software I have right clicked on the wording to see if it copied. What must have happened is that I reset the actual ROOT password. Now the penny dropped when I went to my dest top in that I could SSH there but not via iPad. But the software just logged in as root without a password. So I tried to use iTerminal to logon without a password which you can’t do. 💡. So I reloaded in via Shelly and found that the password I have had been removed. A further test on another app confirmed this. I reset password with 8 characters that is the max you can use. Not sure if that is my NAS set up. Anyway did this and I was able to get into iTerminal with no issues at all. Moral of this story is where the SSH manual suggests having a play around etc. Don’t right click on change root password otherwise the SSH client won’t work. The other thing is that once you reset the root to another password them software that is reliant on it such as myphpadmin, owncloud etc... basically any software that uses sql in the background that is reliant on sql server then they will also stop working. Support were also helpful. David Original post 29/06/2018 I cannot get the ssh to work at all. I can get telnet to work. I am however able to use Shelly another SSH application in temp mode and I am able to do some work with it. However when it comes to my paid for version nothing nadda zilch fails with an error message. I am using the pro version here so expected it to work out of the box using this application. The seller makes it difficult to raise a log with them as well..Version: 7.02
✓ Excellent startThis app is off to an excellent start. One of the few telnet/SSH apps that doesn't suffer from echo issues when attempting to connect to AMX processors and touch panels. A nice clean UI as well. There is some wonkiness when it comes to saving servers (I really wish I could give them a name rather than just the IP). Fix that and add iCloud support so I can share the list between my phone and tablet, and it would make it 5 stars for me..Version: 2.00
