✓ A unique app that does unique things.Tangled FX does something unlike any other photo editing app. And you can tweak the ish out of things with tons of settings. Put an image through Tangled FX on its own and you can get some cool effects. Layer with the original image or other copies edited other ways, and things get even Cooler. Tangled FX won't make every image work, but I tend to run anything interesting through the app just in case it really works. I've spend hundreds on photo apps and have deleted all but a few. Suggestion: sometimes when a photo is rendering, let's say at 70%, it may look awesome. Getting to 100% becomes a let-down. I like to echo what was said by another reviewer, that I like to save the image at a certain stage of processing. Very often it looks best at 80%, before the image snaps to full color or final look. Also, one would wish it were possible to see the changes live as one drags the sliders, without hitting the render button each time. But maybe this isn't possible because of processing power of the iPad. That's why an outstanding app like this should be available as an Aperture or PS plugin. ✓ Really different ,This app is very similar to one I paid a lot more for that works in Photoshop. It is my favorite filter there and now on my IPad. I now have the ability to apply it to my photographs on my IPad . I recommend it to anyone to add its effect to their photos or artworks. Opening up the advance controls brings even more customisation to your fingertips! The one thing it's really lacking is a crop option which is a real shame, I hope it turns up in updates. All in all it's a great app as part of an instagram stack. It's a shame there's not one app that does EVERYTHING for instagram. ✓ Great fun!Got this out of curiosity because of good reviews and low price....opened it up, then spent the next hour completely absorbed with trying out loads of my photo library with this. Yes, this is quite addictive to use, and a lot of fun too. What I like is that it's so easy to load photos, try out the range of effects then easily save the modified pic back to your photos. One tip - sometimes the preview looks better than the full effect, but that's ok as you can save either. I also find that there is usually one effect that looks just right for the pic you are using and you know when you see it. It has made some of my favourite photos look quite stunning, in a different way. This app will surprise and entertain you.....and have people asking 'how did you do that?'.Version: 1.0

✓ Swift route to certain photoshop layer effects.I've not yet come across anything that gives such outstanding effects, akin to many layer effect processes within PS, with such ease. The developers have really thought hard to present such functionality without overwhelming a first time user, providing excellent presets with basic sliders to amplify or reduce effect aspects. Regarding users who require a deeper finesse in editing, a quick flick of the advanced effect settings switch reveals a larger range of sliders to achieve expansive customisation. I cannot recommend this highly enough for anyone who wishes to experiment with obscure imagery, experimentation of the l!ayer settings within Photoshop but isn't familiar with the processes needed to obtain these effects, or for genera5 (Sub Note. A layers facility would be very useful, as opacity, masking5 etc woułd improve the outcome of my images).Version: 1.2
