✓ Nothing comparesBy far the best NCLEX preparation app out. Aside for preparation for the NCLEX, this app has been a necessity while in nursing school. The free version is an excellent way to get acclimated on how to answer NCLEX style questions. However, there is a limit to how many question you can answer and so the next best option is to switch to a premium membership. The options and availability of essential features are unlocked and studying/review becomes all that much better. I highly recommend this app..Version: 5.9.0
✓ Passed NCLEX!Thank you so much for this amazing app! I took the NCLEX on 10/28, and found out today that I passed! NCLEX-RN Mastery was very helpful in preparation for the NCLEX. Having tried both this app and UWorld, they are very comparable in the types of questions asked. This app is significantly cheaper and the rationales are excellent. For reference, my school required ATI throughout the program, as well as the ATI Comprehensive predictor. I had mostly As (and a few Bs) in my nursing courses. I did not find ATI as helpful as NCLEX-RN Mastery. I completed about 500 questions in the app 2 weeks before taking NCLEX. I averaged 53% which I was concerned about, however, some of the content covered is more difficult than what is asked on the NCLEX. I found a few questions on the app that were very similar to what I saw on the exam. Delegation, prioritization, and advanced directives are key concepts that the app covers well. All in all, I highly recommend this app. It will serve you well in your NCLEX preparation..Version: 8.6.5954
✓ Lost All My AccessI had purchased the full features on the NCLEX RN Mastery app yrs ago before the upgrade. It was a great tool to help me pass my LPN boards on the first try. I would even recommend the app to so many classmates, but now I am highly disappointed that I lost all my access and am being required to pay for subscriptions. I understand it’s business but us nursing students already pay so much in tuition and paying for subscriptions doesn’t make anything better. You should have some good promotions for nursing students with some sort of incentive. The Kaplan course offers a full refund if you don’t pass your boards on the first attempt within 6 months of purchasing their content. Just giving you something to think about. ✓ Very helpful, but one major glitchSo far I’ve found this app to be EXTREMELY helpful in studying for NCLEX. However, I’ve also found a glitch where a handful of questions don’t have any answers listed so there’s no possible way to answer the question. This is really frustrating because the most recent one I had like that is actually the las question on a custom quiz I made. Therefore, I can’t finish and submit my custom quiz to see what my score was on it..Version: 5.18.0
✓ Great resource!I have been using this app since 1st year (currently in 4th) and I just did a practice NCLEX in class and finished in under an hour with 1113 points (about 97%), and I think a lot of that success could be attributed to me using this app throughout my schooling. Easy to pull out and do a few questions at a time, or sit down for a while and really study. ✓ Love This AppI usually NEVER write reviews but after I have used this app for my NCLEX-PN (Oct 2016) and now NCLEX-RN (June 2021) passed both times on the first try using only this app. I love the questions and rationales, they were very close to the questions I got on both exams. ✓ Best Program for the NCLEXThis program was prefect. I passed the NCLEX at 75 questions and felt confident the whole time. That was in thanks to this program. My school provided ATI which was confusing with its rationals and a clunky program. This was a smooth and clear rationals. I was able to pop up the app whenever I had a moment to bang out a few questions or a longer session. The app on the phone is easy to use and was the biggest perk. I bought the two NCLEX sims and they were very helpful in seeing how I was doing. Did one at the beginning and then a week out. ✓ Get this app!This app helped me pass my boards in 75 questions on the first try! I will be honest and say that when I was doing the questions, I felt absolutely clueless (especially with the SATA’s) on the app, but that helped me realize what content I needed to focus on more. I would encourage everybody to read the rationales to each question whether you get it right or wrong, because that little bit of knowledge can go a long way! ✓ Great value, results guaranteed.I passed the NCLEX in 75 questions. Most nurses live and swear by UWorld, but Uworld is very expensive for the broke college student. This app is an excellent alternative. It’s $21 for one month, I studied with this app for 1 month and passed. You get 2600 practice questions along with nice resources such as videos on various topics. You can use this app on your phone or the computer, which is nice. The biggest thing this app did for me was retrain me to read NCLEX-style questions again, because some questions are very tricky and could be missed simply for misreading. There are a handful of dumb questions, but the majority of the questions are well designed and in line with what you will see on NCLEX. The rationales are thorough as well, which is important. My biggest complaint with the app is the “Possibility of passing” feature. Although it’s in its beta stage, it told me I was “not likely” to pass the NCLEX, which only served to my detriment as I was already very anxious about this exam. I was getting 53% of my questions correct, which the app thought to be poor. I proved the app wrong by passing in 75 questions. So all in all, it’s a good service and a great alternative to more pricey NCLEX review services such as UWorld or Kaplan. The iPhone app itself has a few bugs, but the developers are constantly fixing bugs as they appear..Version: 8.88.10068

✓ Passed NCLEXI downloaded this app to provide me with questions that I could answer anywhere and at anytime. I thought the app was very helpful in providing me with NCLEX style questions as well as very in depth rationales. If anyone is looking for a resource that can provide them with practice answering NCLEX style questions without paying a fortune for UWorld, this is a great app to use. The only reason I am giving a 4 star rating is because of their probability of passing feature. While answering questions on the app it told me I only had a 6% chance of passing and also gave my friend who had the app a very low chance of passing which wasn’t very accurate if we both passed the NCLEX-RN on the first try. ✓ Great study tool!It may be a little difficult to find exact questions you need for your particular exams but my favorite thing about this app is that it helps you to prepare and understand HOW to answer nursing test questions. It gives you a detailed rationale for each question and answer and helps to expand nursing knowledge. It is also a great refresher for testing your knowledge of basic nursing concepts and procedures you may have learned at the beginning of nursing school. ✓ Passed NCLEXI utilized this app before taking the NCLEX. I started off with 50 questions a day, then bumped it up to 265 questions to mimic me taking the full test. The rationales are great, and the test questions are similar to what you see on the exam. I was able to stop at 75 questions. What was helpful in this app is a simulated NCLEX pre & post exam, that gives you 50-70 questions. It’ll give you a percentage probability based on what previous test takers. ✓ Passed with 77 questions!I downloaded this app in the Spring of 2017. I was struggling with questions during nursing school and this really helped me understand the format of the tests. The rationales are elaborate and really help you understand so much information within just one question. ✓ Passed at 75 questions!After graduating nursing school, I had about three weeks to prepare for the NCLEX. My school had done a HESI NCLEX review course prior to our exit exam, which I found helpful. However, when preparing for the NCLEX, I was told I should really focus on practice questions. One of the nurses I work with recommended this app! The rationales are very detailed and helpful. The simulations are very similar in appearance to the actual exam. Amazing app to study for the NCLEX!I absolutely LOVE this app and I’ve recommended it to all of my friends in nursing school or new grads (like me) who are studying for the NCLEX. I used this app almost exclusively to prepare for the NCLEX and finished all of the questions. I loved the mnemonics and how they asked me about medications I’d never heard of. Some of the explanations were way better than what I was taught in nursing school and were always super clear and concise! I finished my NCLEX in 75 questions and found out I passed on June 28th 2019. I loved seeing the progress bar on this app that turned it into a kind of “game” and it was fun to see my score improve. I also liked that it kept track of my questions daily. Near the end I was doing 200+ questions a day without even realizing it! I seriously felt like I was playing a game rather than studying. I LOVED having it so easily accessible on my phone. I studied at the airport, on the plane, whenever I was waiting in line somewhere, the bathroom, lol everywhere! *Cue the hand sanitizer* My pre-test with the app was an 84% and my post-test was a 90%. My school offered the Hurst Review which I think was over $300 during Spring Break so I didn’t do it, but I feel this app is both super effective to pass the NCLEX all while keeping your wallet happy, too. ✓ Great app, may need some maintenanceI downloaded this app a while ago and paid for the question explanations and access to all of the questions. It has made on-the-go studying so easy! However, I have noticed that the questions aren’t all great. For example, I had a question about a cardiac implantable defibrillators, and in the explanation under the correct answer it said “Call the healthcare provider if the device shocks you and call 911 only if ” and below all of the answers it simply said to call 911 if the device delivers a shock. I love the ease of use of the app and all the information I have access to, I just am worried a little about the accuracy of the information..Version: 8.6.5954

✓ You will pass the First TimeI never write reviews but this app is amazing. I had several friends that used UWorld and failed the NCLEX all I did was study this app and passed the First Time. Everybody I have told to use the app have passed the NCLEX RN and PN the first time. It’s set up to allow you to see your progress, weak areas, explanations, and you can put your test date in and it will tell you how many questions a day you need to study. This app really is amazing. I passed my nclex the first try and I focused on doing questions everyday. ✓ Great app!I passed NCLEX-RN first try. Did not pass with 75 questions because I didn’t study Enough. I would say I only used half of the questions from this app and it was good enough for me to pass with 219 questions. I would recommend to do as many questions as you can to increase your chance of passing. Trust me you don’t want to answer 219 Questions. It is so energy consuming! ✓ Great app overall!I love the ease of this app to practice NCLEX questions. It’s very well designed and user friendly. I am also using it for the practice exams. The odds of passing is VERY much in Beta, as the app says. It went from 58% chance of passing to almost 0…. Also, some questions seem a little off…like you have to “read into” the question, which you are NOT supposed to do. ✓ Convenient and usefulLet me start by saying I passed my nclex with 75 questions on my first try. This app is pretty much all I used to study! I did take the Kaplan prep course however honestly, I didn't find it that helpful. Getting familiar with nclex style questions is the most important thing! And I love how I could study the rationales. As long as I had my phone I could study :) the daily reminders were also incredibly helpful leading up to the nclex too. The only thing Id suggest to anyone is buy (not just the free version. Actually buy it. Its worth it) this in either your first year of nursing school or before you start. ✓ Login problems solved!Since figuring out my login issues, this app has been one of my go-to studying tools for the NCLEX. I love that there are rationales at the end of the questions, that you can mark it based on your knowledge of the question subject, and that you can track your progress. It’s helpful to have the breakdown of subjects so you aren’t wasting as much time studying material you already know thoroughly! I wish I had used this more during nursing school, but I am glad that I can use it for my NCLEX preparation. ✓ Great appThis app is the best! I used it for two weeks leading up to the test and completed 1500 questions from the question bank. I only had a 50% overall score so I was a little nervous going into the test. However, the questions on this app were a lot more challenging then the questions on the NCLEX. With that being said answering the difficult questions on this app made the NCLEX seem like a breeze. ✓ Failed the NCLEXI used this entire app and studied everyday for 5-8 hours for 3 months and then went back and went over the questions i got wrong and studied those... I read the rationales wether i got it right or wrong but still failed the nclex. I also used other resources and not just this app so it wasn’t like I only was depending on this app but this app was also a huge part of my preparation too so I was very disappointed. Yes, a lot goes into preparing for the NCLEX and I was doing everything I could to prepare for the exam and will continue to do so till I pass. I will think about the refund... I still think it’s a great app and a must buy but I wish it had the ability to generate 75+ question exams so you can constantly check on how your scoring... This app tells you how you’re doing over all but I think that’s not enough. Many apps have this 75+ test generator (this one generates tests but it’s only up to 50 questions and that’s simply not enough in my opinion). The closest one this company has to that is the 2 NCLEX simulators and I bought those too and did well on them but like I said that’s not enough... I just wish this app had that feature. I feel it would help me and a lot of students out there even if you had to pay extra for that feature. ✓ Passed NCLEX-RN in one take with three months preparationI am a nurse educated in the Philippines and I graduated from nursing school in 2009. I took my NCLEX for NY State and I passed in one take. My exam stopped at the 75th question. My prep tool is only this app. I find this amazing and the rationales are very helpful. They based their answers and lab values on Mosby’s so I am very confident I was getting the right information. As a background for my self, it’s been 9 years since I got my nursing degree and I have been working continuously in ED, Neuro and ICU in Philippines and New Zealand. Once I got the ATT, it was only then that I started reviewing. What I did, I write down notes when I practice custom quizzes and when I do custom quizzes I ticked all the box for all the topics rather than focusing on one system. Thanks for this app. Very happy to provide a wonderful feedback. So basically, I only have three months of intensive preparation but I worked hard to answer questions as much as I can (usually 25-100 questions a day) on my breaks and before sleep as I am also working full-time and I have a little one to look after at home. Even after exam, I still enjoy answering the custom quizzes and now like having the routine to open it. You can log on to it in a desktop computer too which is cool..Version: 5.11.0

✓ HelpfulVery helpful. I downloaded this app three months prior to my nclex. I did 100 questions a day on average. I did well in nursing school because I studied hard and put in the work. With this app it refreshes the knowledge you should already have (minus the handful of questions that are so random that not even a doctor would know). It also teaches you strategies on how to answer questions. I remember when I first started this app I would answer questions so quick and then submit it and get it wrong and then read the rational and be like “Oh my god I knew that!” It teaches you to read slow and pick out the most important parts of the question. But enough of that..what you really want to know is if I passed? Yes, 75 questions in an hour and a half. Lastly, I will day this app will not help you pass your nclex if you didn’t put in the effort during nursing school. This reviews knowledge, not give it to you. ✓ Worth every penny.So I’m happy to say I passed the NCLEX after 88 questions- I received the results this morning .... I used RN mastery and Saunders. Saunders was great for the information- however questions were not like the NCLEX. (That doesn’t mean I don’t recommend it because I totally do) Saunders gives you the base but MASTERY gives you the edge you need to pass. There are practice quizzes, tons of questions, great rationales and two NCLEX mock simulations for an additional price but it’s totally worth it. The format is identical to that on the NCLEX so it made testing that much easier. This app can also be used on the computer. If you’re on the fence about this app... do yourself a favor and get it. I don’t write reviews often but I will here because I passed the NCLEX on my first try and this really helped. Btw on the first simulation I got an 80% probability of passing and on the second (I took two days before the test) I got a 90% probability of passing... clearly it was right. ✓ Amazing appThis app is surprisingly good and I don’t regret buying it. The amount of content is more than expected because of the thorough rationales. I am leaving this review however because I would like to see some changes. Most importantly is that right now I cannot access the new multimedia content because the app freezes then crashes. I have an iPhone X. Next is the small, encircled x in the corner of pictures that must be pressed to close a picture. I have found myself pressing it 10+ times. Maybe make it bigger or make it so that I can swipe the picture away as I would with a picture on Facebook. ✓ NCLEXI strictly used this app—and my textbook I got through my nursing program—to study for NCLEX. This app is great and I truly feel like the questions cover a broad range of things but don’t go crazy in-depth! I took NCLEX 2 days ago and passed in 75 questions! Would highly recommend! It makes it so easy to study and be able to study when and where is convenient for you. Made studying a lot less stressful and made it easy to view my strengths and weaknesses before going to the testing center. ✓ Just passed NCLEX RNWanted to say thanks, couldn’t have done it without this program. I started studying as soon as school was complete. I answered questions almost everyday, some days I listened to mark klimek free lectures instead. When I was finally able to schedule my test, I doubled down and picked up my pace of answering questions. I took the pre NCLEX practice test, then studied more and answered a bunch more questions. Then I took the post test. The next step was my actual test, I was so excited to get my pass result on my first try. I really liked the pneumonics that mastery gives you to help you remember key information they are very helpful. Also I like how the app saves your feedback and shows you what category's you are doing well in and what you need to improve on. Overall it was helpful and helped me study for the NCLEX.. The questions assist with critical thinking and directly apply to much of the subject matter taught in the classroom. My only critique is I wish there was a version that included Canadian lab values. ✓ Extremely helpfulI passed the NCLEX on the first try with 75 questions. I used this app with the premium package and my school’s mandatory use of ATI. ATI is confusing and hard and sometimes the rationales don’t provide you with much information. With Mastery, the rationales are thoroughly explained and the questions are styled like actual NCLEX questions. The pre and post simulation tests are worth upgrading to premium. The tests look exactly how the NCLEX does. It helps you feel more comfortable during the NCLEX. The app is also helpful during nursing school because of the many questions provided for each subject. ✓ I want to rate this a 5 but ***UPDATE***First off I want to start by saying I love this app! It is an awesome tool for NCLEX. I just wish I could get ahold of customer service for problems with it! I paid $60 for the premium version plus the 2 NCLEX simulation tests. At first it was working great for a few weeks but when I went to take my pre and post test simulation, they weren't there. Emailed customer service, it was fixed. Took a little longer than usual but ok. At least it’s been remedied. But then I was kicked off of premium in the app and reverted to the free version!! It even shows I’ve completed parts of the premium “locked” sections of the app. I emailed customer service on Monday and have yet to get a response. Really hoping that this can be fixed ASAP as my test date is looming and I really want to be able to complete questions 😕 For it being so pricy I would expect customer service to deliver. Will update my review if I receive a response. After a few days of waiting customer service finally helped me out and remedied the issue. Definitely an awesome resource for NCLEX..Version: 5.3.0
