✓ Good luck using this for anything other than Apple TVThought I was buying a universal remote control that I could also use as a mouse and keyboard for my computer, after purchasing, and having difficulties their troubleshooting section states, it only works with LG and Samsung TVs, not to mention the complexity of steps in time if you were to attempt to install it on a computer. Also, reading the troubleshooting section it post a question that must be frequent asking why customers have to pay for the app, the answer to this question was the specific app doesn’t need as many permissions authorized as the free apps offered by LG and Samsung. Come on really 10 bucks to not ask to use Bluetooth or my location. Both of which probably will enable more reliable connection. And after reading the troubleshooting section and question answers, it was obvious I got ripped off and immediately requested a refund. Don’t make the same mistake as me unless your hobby is computer, programming, or coding to which you are extremely proficient. Can’t wait to reinstall the factory brand remote applications from the App Store, which work better, are more reliable, and easily would be worth paying for rather than using this app, even if it were offered for free..JtomsikVersion: 2022.65

✓ Good core functionality, some minor quirksThe app itself is good and warrants a $10 lifetime purchase. However I don’t like that when viewing my lifetime license it still gives me the option to purchase it again. All purchasing options should disappear. The app should check lifetime license status better. Also, I hate how using the paid version still doesn’t get you out of the ANNOYING pop ups to share and leave a review. Came back just to edit this review and drop a star because the dev can’t just leave his customers alone. ✓ Unanswered emails, then being told to Go away and agent a RefundDeleted the App. Shocking Response from developer: he will harass you, accuse you of cussing so I forwarded all his emails to Apple as proof. I sent a dozen emails asking for help with the app That I Paid Full Price For about the app disconnecting and trying to get help with an issue where the app was brilliant to being very unresponsive and I was being ignored. Explaining the issue wasn’t easy as I’m not tech savvy. Response: from Evgeny Cherpak Use a different tone and clean language if you want to get support. If not get a refund and go away. Useless now.Worked okay, but I mostly used it to control my computer from the other room to move files or start uploads/downloads, etc. Have to click through too many nonsense screens to get to the utility part. That’s obnoxious. But it was free. The ability to see my desktop on my phone was absolutely necessary and even though it was far from perfect (doesn’t allow a 1-for-1 scale of screen, lots of swiping all over the place to see small sections at a time) it functioned, with some patience. Then the other day the only useful part of this app was shoved behind a paywall. Can’t see my screen. And since money is not so easy to come by right now, it was a real middle finger to people like me. But that’s Capitalism. So now, this app is literally useless for me and I am deleting it and looking for a working alternative. (Point being, FREE version is not useful for me anymore and I can’t pay right now. Poor supportFree trial pop up each time you open app. I suddenly had access to paid features and contacted support saying I hadn’t opted in to any free trials and didn’t want t be charged subscription later. Developer asked me to try manage subscriptions even though I had said I had checked and was not subscribed hence my confusion as suddenly having access to free features. Developer via support email was very rude and unprofessional and unable to tell me what he required me to do and how or why he required me to add my email address despite us emailing via my email address all the while! ✓ Takes too long to try itI used to have an app called Hippo Remote which worked really well. As it happens sometimes, Apple rolls out a new iOS and the apps you purchased cease to work if the developer does not update the app. So I tried this app. 1. The free version doesn’t let you do anything, it is really annoying, waste of time to install it. 2. I don’t like the yearly payment option where you can cancel after a month - typically you have to fill out a form with payment details (time consuming) + need to remember to cancel outstanding payments, prefer to pay when I need the product). There is no option to try the app for a little while and then pay if you find the app useful. So i decided to purchase the app to try it, to then discover that my MacMini cannot run the helper (you need OSX 10.9 min). True it is stated in the system requirements section but when you purchase the app through an iphone (it is an iphone app after all) you need to click to look for additional information, it is not that obvious. I used to use this app once a while for typing but the developer has ended the free version and you can only access the app if you have subscription. The people who don’t use it regularly and forcing them to get a subscription is not a smart move. The idea before was good that some functions were only if you subscribe like power onn and off but now it’s time that thousands of people will remove the app and the ratings will drop. If the developer wanted money so bad they should have put one or two ads in the beginning to make money and let people use the free version that doesn’t wanna pay and who wants all features they can pay a premium. ✓ Change the rules on every updateI first bought this app about 3 years ago, I bought a life subscription. But after an update I got to have annoying adds that make the app almost impossible to use. To remove the adds I should pay again. The I didn’t update for few versions worried the apl would get worst. I updated I it did, UX got worst to force me pay. Maybe something has changed recently. “Free” doesn’t mean “provide us your card details and sign up to a payment plan before we let you try the product.” I terminated the app and uninstalled it. Yes, it promised to be what I wanted, but the developers take liberties with describing it as free. A formal complaint has been made to Apple so as to either have this thing removed from the Apple Store or it undergoes a rebrand or becomes more truthful. EDIT After contact from the developer who maintains is free - 3 days and supply your payment details BEFORE you can start the ‘free’ trial IS NOT FREE. Apple has again had it reported to them, and the contact from the developer. It may just be that I am more PC-based, but any PC app which requires payment details BEFORE being able to use it, is rather unusual and is generally lambasted in forums when describing themselves as free….ZakspadeVersion: 2021.30

✓ Very disappointing.I was really excited to come across this app as I wanted to be able to use it for presentations and other bonuses like navigating Netflix and my computer etc. however once I committed to downloading, I found out that firstly the free option was not even available so I decided to give the annual licence a try... no joy! The button icons on my phone screen don’t even respond to what they should do. Waiting to hear back from support for a resolution. ✓ For the full versionAfter some checking out the folder structure I found a file called ‘Bouncy House Crypto’ seems liike something crept into the PC software. Please ignore my review, until I type otherwise. Old review: It’s AWESOME, and will save me some time. It’s a little fiddly to set up though: If your computer says it’s a trojan or something like that, here’s how I solved that: I downloaded the helper program using an app called Documents (By Readdle; free on the App Store), and then uploaded it to my Dropbox account; I downloaded the installer on my PC, restarted the PC, and ran the program; my anti malware program said that the website was iffy, but I put an exclusion for that site on my anti malware program (you’ll have to find out how to do it yourself), and then everything worked fine. I usually only give a four star review tops, because every app/program could be improved (there’s no such thing as perfection), but I gave this app an extra star due to the excellent customer support; I sent a support message, and within half an hour got a response. Now, about the app... There are a ton of presets for different programs that you can control, and you can create your own if you need to. I’d give this a hearty thumbs up, if my thumbs weren’t busy right now typing this review. Do not use this app to attempt to unlock pc, i did this & a glitch occurred where my password was being infinitely typed & even searched for online. Resolved by PC restart. ✓ Needs attention with updatesThis app was great until the app on my Mac needed updating. The iOS app indicated that the Mac update was necessary but neither of the options given, Close or Update, allowed me to control my Mac via the app thus making it impossible to update the Mac app without having to find another input device which was a bit of a problem and part of the reason I have the iOS app, not having an input device always at hand. Either this is an oversight by the developer or pretty stupid. Please fix this before the next update..OkuloVersion: 2020.7
