✓ Does what other apps dream of doingAn obvious passion project, it's the sort of app that should have been made a decade prior. However, in the few overall hours I've actually used it, I've been hit with easily close to 50 "Please review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐" ads, even after purchasing the paid version. I understand why, but this is just too much for a paying user. I've waited 'til now to review, because I was both hoping the beg ads would ease up over time, while I wait for technical issues relating to my system to be addressed. Instead, I'll get this out of the way now: it's probably a problem with my specific network config, but I'm forced to manually reset the app on start-up before it will connect. ✓ All around great way to control my computerI use a suite of “power apps” on my macs, Alfred, this Remote app, and other smaller ones. I’ve tried Alfred’s remote app, but its no where near as intuitive as this one. Plus this one can control my apple tv too. I don't need to start or stop a server app on my computer every time i want to switch devices, i just select a different one in the app. Its constantly being kept up to date, especially the paid version. I most commonly use it to shut off my computer when i forget to and I'm already in bed. My dad uses it to control slides at church functions and loves it..Version: 2023.16

✓ Brilliant AppReally great app, brilliant functionality and love being able to control my Mac from another room or check how far something has downloaded. Only thing I would change (if it is possible) would be the desktop view on the iPhone to be able to zoom out so you can see the full screen on your phone, rather than it be zoomed in already and can’t Zoom out only zoom in, which means you only ever see a proportion of the screen. If you could also make it so you can view the screen without being on the same WiFi network as well that would be amazing as then I could access when out of the house/office on 4G but I suppose you could do this with a VPN. ✓ Genuinely perfect.So at night, I’d normally turn on my old Xbox One and have Netflix playing, and control it via my Xbox controller - Xbox died. Yeah. So I looked around for phone-to-PC controlling software… none popped up. Sure, one or two were available, but every third tap or control would promo a “pay now for no ads”. And half the time, it was horrible to connect… then I found Remote+. And it’s honestly flawless. Connects within the second you tap your Desktop name, has all the essential controls, doesn’t continuously ask to pay for a premium, in fact NEVER does. Never seen a single ad, and I’ve been using this for a few months now, and has only just asked for a review. And I’m happy to say, it can’t be beaten. Just try it, and see for yourself. 20/10. However this app of remote mouse, I personally call it my SPEEDY MOUSE cuz it’s fast and Free and it controls all functions, volumes included. I use this app on my Windows 10 desktop, laptop, iPad, and my iMac all through my iPhone. Personally I am a computer repair guy with over 10 years experience and this FREE app, (Speedy mouse is my personal name for it) has been GREAT. Fast connection with memory, multitasking between iMac and windows 10 desktop, volume controls and all keyboard functions. So I gladly say THANK YOU SIR. I used to have to use a Bluetooth mouse on less than ideal surfaces to control my entertainment system. It works extremely well and the developer is very active with updates and bug fixes (it’s rare there is a bug but when one does pop up it is fixed very quickly). The app is all around great, I mainly use it as an iTunes remote for when I’m using my Mac to watch movies on my tv but I’ve found it’s great for long downloads or installing new software because I can mirror my macs screen and control everything without having to get up. ✓ If you need a Mac remote then look no furtherI wanted a remote control app for an old Ipad. After a quick google search I clicked the link to this app which unfortunately didn’t support my old iPad so I download the latest version to my phone and the older version became available for download to my iPad, it’s an old trick. The free version with limited features worked just fine on my iPad so I bought the full version on my phone thinking the purchase would push to the iPad, it didn’t. I got in touch with the developer who was very quick to respond and very helpful. The developer refunded me the money after first trying to resolve the problem. From there I tried to re-purchase the app this time on the old iPad and see if it would push to my phone. Sadly I couldn’t purchase the app from my iPad but I was very impressed that the app developer didn’t quibble about a refund and actually helped as much as possible in supporting a now outdated version of the app and IOS. ✓ Great App, Keyboard & Mouse AlternativeI plug my laptop to the living room TV to watch movies with my family, but always struggled with using the wireless KB&M when I’m trying to relax on the couch. I found this app and cause I wanted to improve my quality of life while at home. This app is perfect cause now I can browse the internet and watch my favorite shows without hassling with the KB&M even tho they’re wireless. Everything is done on my phone. Great tracking response and easy to use the keyboard on the app. Just a few tips tho to improve the app. -Scrolling speed is way too fast/sensitive even with the speed set all the way to low -Not sure what the scroll wheel mouse click does (doesn’t go to forever scroll mode while on a web page) -Some features don’t work while the computer is on sleep or the display is off like “Wake” or “Display On” not sure why they’re there in the first place -Cannot use the app while on the Lock Screen of your PC. You have to log in first even tho you’re connected to the same network and also unable to use while an admin prompt is on screen. It is easy to connect, and it doesn’t lose connection for no reason (like another app I’ve tried). I paid a couple dollars for the premium version to get more features (i forgot what specifically—maybe to get rid of ads). Also, this app is frequently updated, but you can choose not to update if you want. I used to use monect pc remote. When it worked, monect was good, but it often disconnected for no apparent reason. Often times it wouldn’t connect or work for a day or two, even after reinstalling the software on my computer and phone. The final straw was when they took their advertising to the next level and started making me watch an ad literally every time I opened the app. This pc remote is much better. ✓ Just started usingI am a pastor who uses a program called pro presenter to run slides during messages. Pro presenter does not have a simple remote app to do this only a robust remote for producers who are technically savvy. I just needed to be able to use the up, down, right, and left arrows to go through slides. There are physical remotes that let you go left and right to advance slides but not up and down to change presentations. I can do that simply with this remote. I use this app in conjunction with Luna display to remote access my Mac Mini from my bedroom upstairs, while my Mac stays hooked up to my work monitor in my downstairs office. Sometimes (a lot of times) Luna display doesn’t wanna play nice with my Mac, but this app bridges any gaps!! I use it to restart my Mac remotely and I have the helper app set up for automatic launch whenever automatic login occurs, so it’s saved my sanity several times in a very short time of using it. I can view my desktop in the app too when I need to! This is soooo helpful esp when my iPad isn’t displaying what I need to see on the remote screen in a given moment. ✓ This is awesomeDoes the app actually let you access your full computer, not just select apps? YES! I haven’t checked out all the features yet but so far it seems amazing. For whatever reason I’ve always had an easier time writing on my phone then my keyboard (maybe because with a phone I can actually type while walking around or laying down). You can control volume with your iPhone volume buttons, you can even mirror your laptop screen to your phone on the app, if you don’t want to get out of bed to change a video then just open the app and use the trackpad/keyboard to type in and click a new video. ✓ Great Plex CompanionI’ve spent time setting up Plex Server on a MacMini as part of a Home Cinema setup. This App turns my iPhone into a Mac screen remote, mouse with useful wifi shutdown/sleep controls so I can power down the Mac without needing to teach for the keyboard (which i hardly touch now). To be able to open a Keynote presentation and deliver it using my iPhone as the remote, simply by connecting the two devices together on their own network, no external Wi-Fi network is needed, is such a blessing. ✓ Great for movies and other mediaI don’t usually write reviews for apps but this one was too good not to. I don’t have a straight up TV in my room but I do have a monitor, the problem was if I wanted to use my Mac I’d have to sit close to the screen or use my mouse and keyboard, which are really inconvenient to use on a bed. I only really needed a mouse but this app solves that and a multitude of of other things. I don’t use the paid version, but the free version seems to have most of the same features with ads, which I’m fine with. There’s a small amount of input lag, which is to be expected, but it’s barely noticeable and doesn’t matter if you just need to be able to control the computer for movies or videos. The app does require a third party program to be installed on the device you want to control, but it was pretty straightforward other than needing to grant some permissions. The trial version, as others have said, has an ad wall (which is very fair for a free app with this much functionality). Switched to this app from the premium version of Yao’s remote mouse app, and the customization options this app gives you alone are worth the $. The UI isn’t as clean, but that’s a common cost for high customization and additional functionality. I’m very happy with it. There’s nothing this app won’t do for me, even replacing my Stream Deck & with a faster response too. This app gives Siri shortcut support as well, giving it a huge edge for those of us with applications of voice command. I really appreciate the dev for his constant work and updates. I had an issue, one patch, with my Siri Shortcuts. The dev responded the next day, and I didn’t hear back after sending him the app log, but the very next day it was patched. ✓ So far so good - quick responseI have to admit, I’m on a tight budget having to cut costs so I really can’t fork out the $10 right now, but I gotta say, even the free version is very useful. My son is learning how to stream and our computers are next to each other. Sometimes, I’m in another part of the house and he texts me that I left the volume on my Mac turned on which chimes when I get notifications which bother him on his streaming. Now, I don’t have to walk all the way over there and I can simply launch the app and hit mute. Works well and does have some other cool features in the free version. When I’m off of financial lockdown, I’ll get the full app. The developer is very quick to respond which is always important. I was using Remote Pac - another fantastic app - and asked about the mute capability and he quickly responded with this app. I really do like the ability of the other app. I just wish it could mute the sound from that app, but all is good.
