✓ Can't copy on MacCan this app be updated to allow the ability to copy/paste on a Mac. it does a great job at helping me, but if I can't copy or paste that doesn't help me much. When I ask it to write something longer than 2500 words it says it completed the writing and emailed it to me… But that’s not true. ✓ It's an ok app, but support is non-existentThe app works, but has a couple of really annoying bugs, which have been reported. However, the developer doesn't respond to or fix these bugs. An example is if you pay for the app, you randomly get told you have to purchase it again, it seems to have an issue with validating you're already paying. You have to go through the process of having to restore purchases each time you reboot or restart your device. It also asks you to review the app on every launch, but the submit button is greyed out and you can't rate the app even if you wanted to. Random loss of chat memory is also a problem. Sometimes you're in the middle of a chat, maybe 3-4 exchanges in, and the chat history/memory is lost, and ChatGPT therefore answers a question with no context to answers it provided before. Like I said, the app itself is ok, and cheaper than a full subscription to ChatGPT Plus, but it's let down by lack of support or perhaps even an interested developer. Cannot log into account as the website is missing and kept getting given a url that didn’t exist. For £29 in the current climate this is simply not good enough for a crowded market. Just not worth the hassle - go elsewhere as there is no shortage of AI content generators that are stable platform. ✓ This should be pulled for lack of functionalityWith the recent explosion of apps looking to quickly latch onto the wave of this new tech to make a quick buck (or $30) need to pump their brakes. This is not the GPT 3.5 you may be thinking. This has NO memory of previous conversations, or any of my most basic information disclosed in previous conversations. Worse, it flat out LIES and gives totally fabricated answers rather than admit that it is not able to recall that information at this time. It lied when it said I could communicate with the same program on my computer and it would know what wI spoke about with it on the phone app. There is not a website to eve access some type of online portal so this is limited to your smartphone. My last two conversations were so bad I wanted to be able to export the entire session to forward to the dev team, but of course, that isn’t something that can be easily exported. What would ever compel someone to pay $30 for a product that has free and low/cost alternatives that actually work? This is seriously a half-executed idea that misses all the marks. ✓ What a waste- do not purchase in app**update** the last update to the information from this software is September of 2021 so completely out of date. It’s also rated 17+ so below information contradicts this rating I mean… it can respond. I suppose I’d call this App very underwhelming from the PR it’s getting. I asked it to tell funny jokes- they were jokes a 6 year old would give- changed it to asked for funny crude jokes. It told me it had to be PG then gave me the same 3 jokes, definitely still G rated. I even love a good pun… asked it for Punny jokes. SAME 3 JOKES. I paid $30/ year without testing, assuming the PR meant it definitely was worth $30 of fun over a year. I’d highly recommend you look at another app (do not have recommendations) or don’t waste your time. I also asked the ai how to get in contact with customer service to get a refund, the ai didn’t even know what app it was operating from, so it recommended I go through Apple who has their disclaimers about in-app purchases. First and foremost, the app is extremely buggy and prone to crashing. I have lost count of the number of times it has crashed on me while I was in the middle of composing a document. This is incredibly frustrating and has caused me to lose valuable work on more than one occasion. Furthermore, the app has a number of other annoying and inconvenient features. The formatting options are limited and clunky, and it is difficult to insert images or other multimedia elements into documents. Overall, I would not recommend the Write this app to anyone.
