✓ I’m scaredIn the other battle of polytopia there is a freaky time travel thing where if you play a few turns you go forward a few WEEKS. If you have that I’ll stop playing it until you fix it or have scientists look at it. ✓ No Multiplayer??Ive had the non Arcade version for years, got my partner into it, and we even ended up getting every tribe, play all the time. Was super excited to check this out and instantly got disappointed as there were very few changes… and no multiplayer is wild. Surely this wasn't an oversite? Seems disregarded and sloppy. ✓ Hard to winThe game is fun in the beginning but eventually you reach a point where you’re suddenly outpaced by the bots. I can’t win a game to save my life! Eventually the bots WILL overpower you and you lose. Is it a skill issue? Probably but it really makes me not want to return to the game. ✓ Game is interesting and fun at first but gets old quickSo I liked the game. It’s fun. But I find the perfection mode kind of lacking. It doesn’t feel right that I lose if I am only a few points under the top player. I tried domination mode and I liked it more but I got stuck at a massive unending stalemate that just goes on forever. I only used one civ but I find that there is little variety. The tech tree should be more diverse between each civ. Also there should be a mechanic that does an end game move like in age of empires where they used the “wonder” as an end game win mechanic. I find the turn taking way too tedious and confusing. I don’t like how the camera forces me to see the enemy moves. I should have the option to not have to view each enemy move. That said the game is great at first but slowly loses its novelty. Oh, a campaign mode would be nice..NeofatalistVersion: 2.8.5

✓ Returning PlayerWhen I saw that The Battle of Polytopia was coming to Apple Arcade, I was so excited because I’ve played the game quite a bit myself (bought a few tribes too). I know that Apple doesn’t allow micro-transactions within games on their platform, so I was hoping that all of the tribes and skins were available. To my great delight, they were! However, there is a huge feature missing from the main game: multiplayer. I am really hoping that the multiplayer aspect of Polytopia is able to come to this version soon, even if matchmaking is excluded to other Apple Arcade players. Overall, great game, but it is missing a majority of its features in the state that it is currently in. (P.S. I would love for the special tribes to get skins too!
