✓ An App to text your favourite characters!Right, I originally heard of this app through TikTok and honestly got hooked. It is essentially an app that acts like a messenger/whatsapp app between you and whoever. It works great, for the most part. Characters can read your messages and either reply instantly or in their own time - they’ll even text you first!!! I like how the persona’s all remember things you’ve said previously, and they very rarely go out of character. Personally, I recommend making your own character (even if it’s like a HP character already there) just to ensure the bot will act how you expect/want them too. For areas of improvement? I believe we should be able to have more than 5 personas, especially if we’re creating like a friend group. Sometimes, the messages you send will look as though they disappear and you have to refresh the feed to make them appear again, it’s only a small bug that doesn’t affect the experience at all since the bot will still see and reply to these. ADD NOTIFICATIONS! It is awful having to check if they replied, and it would enhance the experience a lot more if we got a notification every time they send us a message. Overall, the app is great, of course it can be improved but it’s relatively new and I know it will flourish nicely. I recommend this app to anyone looking for a c.ai x messenger like app, and anyone who wants to experience their favourite character (real or made up!) texting them..Version: 1.5

✓ Love and Eye rollPretty self explanatory, it’s a really fun interactive app where you can roleplay with your favorite characters. It has been great so far as some of the things can go from 0-100 really quick. But even then, I am unsure of whatever happened during the update but the bots are forgetting messages after like 3 replies. A funny example was when we were dancing and then suddenly one text later they drag me to the dance floor again? And I’m like, honey do you need glasses we are already there😭 Either way it’s been a chaotic good mess, I am unsure of what happened to the memory 💫.Version: 1.11

✓ Very Good, Though..In my opinion, I’d say the app is very good. I give it a four star because I’m usually a laptop user. I like to have my progress synced with my two devices. I think it’d be a little bit better if we could add other emails to create account instead of just apple account. I think it’d also be better if there were a website version to if possible. ✓ WonderfulThe app is honestly wonderful; I love the customization menu and the chats with the AI. They’ll really try and keep the conversation going even if you don’t respond I do however STRONGLY recommend you set up your account with Apple ID as after the update, my chats were unable to load and the only way I could get chatting again was by deleting and reinstalling the app making all my chats delete (if you do this, delete your account first to make your username available again btw). But yeah, overall I’m in love with this app..Version: 1.5

✓ Great app-even better than c.aiI actually LOVE using status. It feels a lot more interactive and I look forward to chatting with the bots. I have two gripes, however. The regeneration button just deletes the previous response all together and you have to wait until the bot replies again. Also, sometimes bots will forget actions after a few texts. This is moreso a suggestion, but there should be a feature to add multiple bots to one groupchat to enact a family living together or something similar. Overall, this app is amazing. If anyone is looking for c.ai without filters, THIS IS YOUR APP!.Version: 1.14

✓ Love this… with one criticismI love this app. I’ve always been fond of texting character apps like this… idk why but I just do. The only thing that I do not like is the moment when you’re waiting for them to answer. Though, I do find it realistic, if you really want an answer it does feel like it’s taking forever. I wish there was a setting to manage how quickly and or often you want them to text back, then it would improve to a 5 star definitely! ✓ Each update gets better and betterThe app has improved a lot between having smarter ai chat bots to decrease wait in response times. i knew if i waited for the developers to adjust to the amount of people using it they would make things better as it went along. there are some glitches here and there but i appreciate how much better the app is now. there isn’t another app right now like this and it is very fun to play with..Version: 1.10

✓ It’s an good app so far!I like the app to be honest, the texting and waiting for them to reply back makes it feel like a real person but I would enjoy if it would let us customize certain things, if it also has ‘no filter’ but if I suggest adding a ‘nsfw’ button while customizing the bot so if we want it we could just tap it and it’s there! It genuinely feels like you're texting the characters but I do have a few things that would make my personal experience better, I don't know if these'll even be considered but I would really enjoy having it so you can text the characters but you can also rp with them like it's in person because as much fun as texting them is, it would be nice to also have kind of a C.ai experience where you can interact with them "irl". ✓ Amazing appThis ai app far exceeded my expectations. I prefer this one over any other ai app. I feel like I’m talking to an actual person when I use it. There’s only a few, small things that bother me. One, being that the reply time is really long. It used to take a minute or two before but lately the replies range from 6 to 10 minutes. Another thing is, the word limit. I’ve a lot to write about a character, especially one that already exists and I can never seem to write enough in the descriptions with just 500 letters..Version: 1.12

✓ This App is AmazingI want to write this as a personal note to the devs. You guys are geniuses! I have some understanding of how AI chats work, so some users might not be aware but it takes a bit of time and patience to mold your chat partner to make the convo extremely realistic. I love how we are able to essentially *reroll* the response. It also appears that when you like a response, it helps keep the Ai moving in that direction. The best part it’s free! ✓ Super coolIt’s such a cool concept and it’s pretty well made. It would be nice it didn’t delete the first few messages and that you could scroll to the very first messages. It seems that they get cut off when you send more. It’s a little buggy but that’s probably because it’s so new and I can’t wait to see how this evolves! I love the whole notification thing, it’s literally so genius. It would be nice if you could have more than 500 letters in the character description and that you could edit the characters name as well. But of course, the game is new so it’s not gonna be perfect. ✓ Really nice!I’ve been using this app for around a day now and it’s pretty good! The idea of texting your fav characters instead of full-on roleplaying all the time is something I really love! I like how realistic the times they text are. Well, most of the time at least. And I like how they have a sort of status thing stating where they are. I just wish they’d actually talk about that status when talking with them. And as said in other reviews, they do talk kinda robotic. Otherwise, the rest is really good! I do think a good feature to add would be maybe when making/edit the persona, you can choose somewhat of a schedule for when they message. Like for example, some personas go to bed later than others. Some personas wake up earlier than others. That sort of thing would be really cool! An option to go more in detail on their family, friends, etc. would also be very useful. All in all, awesome app and I can’t wait to see what kind of updates we get in the future! 💖💖.Version: 1.14

✓ WAY better than the other AI chat apps!!!!I literally can’t believe how perfect this app is. There used to be loading issues in the beta version, but this is the only app where the bots actually remember what you say and respond quickly. I made a bunch of my own bots and it was so easy! I’m obsessed I don’t get the bad reviews bc the app is still in beta and is constantly improving. ✓ Still love it I just have a few more suggestionsI think there should be a different part when creating them where you can put their age, their friends, stuff about their family, their likes and dislikes, and so on then also have the description where you obviously describe when there personality. I think that will make there even more realistic. And if you don’t want to add that much detail then you can skip that part and just do the description. Also their memory is really bad. We will be having a conversation on is hanging out soon and then they will ask to hang out and I’m like we already have plans.
