✗ Rawda booking impossible for women it seemsWe’ve travelled a long distance from abroad and we were really looking forward to this. The booking process for Rawda is incredibly difficult with slots coming very rarely if at all, especially when compared to my male members of the family due to the limited capacity available for women. I found out that new Rawda booking slots tend to release on the hour but this still isn’t sufficient. The app suffers from some extremely disappointing and glaring technical issues: when selecting a Rawda booking slot and clicking through to confirm, it automatically changes into an Umrah booking. This happened multiple times on every apparent slot release over the course of the whole day. And even when I was fortunate enough to actually confirm a Rawda slot, the time on confirmation automatically changes to a completely different one (off by 12 hours, possibly a mistake in the 12hr vs 24hr clock display on the booking screen within the app) Understandably, the stewards at Masjid Nabawi have to be strict with crowd control during the busy Ramadhan period, but it’s disheartening to realise that we had zero chances of getting through from the get-go due to technical difficulties from this app. It’s worrying that so much hinges on a single app running reliably, there are unfortunately no other ways of entering Rawda without the app unless you happen to have travelled with a group it seems..Ahaj513Version: 1.5
