Useful!For me it’s very useful… I’m an international touring artist, and Seven is my new way to have more consistency because of my constant moving around. I’m very disciplined but the touring makes it very difficult on many levels. So I’m almost halfway through my first year and getting comfortable with this. Always hoping that I’m doing the exercises the right way. But the exercises explanations provided in the app are very useful..Version: 10.7.5

Amazing app!!!I think that this is a great time to say how wonderful this app is! I love how even without paying, i still get to use the app in a great way, slowly but rewardingly earning new workouts. I love how quick yet effective this app is, burning over 100 kcal every circuit. I have recently deleted my account by accident due to the pop up telling me that I am under 16, (which by the way, I find a bit annoying, maybe just show me the pop up once?:) ) causing me to lose all of my 7 month challenge streak, etc. But, after just a couple of emails to Perigee, I got 6 months of streak and my 3 workouts added into my new account! I’d just like to say how amazing and rewarding this app is and that you all at Perigee are incredible!.Version: 8.2.8

Highly recommend!I seriously love this app. I used to do a 20 minute Pilates workout but started slacking because I didn’t have the time (I’m a strictly morning workout person only). I found this app and fell in love! I always have time for a seven minute workout. It’s been a year and a half and I’m stronger, have more muscle, and at least half of my pains have gone away! I highly recommend this app; it will change your life! I have one recommendation. Instead of showing the number of workouts, you should show the duration of workouts. One person may do a seven minute workout which shows as one workout. But when someone does a thirty minute workout, it still shows as one workout. So on the leagues they would be tied. Leagues should show duration instead because the two workouts are not equivalent..Version: 9.5.1

I love this app I just can’t afford the subscriptionI would like to thank the developers and the whole team behind this incredible app. I appreciate the 3-D display of what I should do and how to do it properly. My only issue with the app is that I can’t afford the subscription so .I’m only stuck doing the same workouts every day which is annoying but it’s doable. I just Wish that there was more free workouts so I can advance my body in other ways and exercises. But nevertheless I still work out consistently every morning at 10 AM for around 30 minutes and do the exercises that I do have. For free the exercises are quite remarkable on how they teach you how to properly do it. I give this app a 4/5 but I just wish that there was more free than paid workouts..Version: 8.2.7

Effective, efficient, and convenientI cannot capture just how much I love this app. I paid the fee for the complete app. It is so worth it. If you feel like it’s too much, compare it to the monthly gym membership. So many different workouts with the full membership, which means you won’t get bored. Plus this works. I travel a lot, and I always have my devices with me. No excuses. I once did a workout a little past midnight. I’m sure the gym wasn’t open, but guess what was. You got it - 7. My last comment is about the difference it made. After just one month, people actually noticed my weight loss (people who didn’t even know that I was trying!). A good appOne of my relatives recommended this to me and they have been doing it for over a month and they are so pleased with it. When I joined I had the same experience, I have just done my second workout of the first week and I am already impressed. The range of workouts you can get is crazy although some you have to unlock over time but it doesn’t really take that long-besides the workouts you get unlocked when joining are really good anyway so it’s not like you’re missing out. I never thought an app could motivate me to do workouts but I must say it has succeed in doing so. I really do recommend trying it out, it’s worth it and you don’t always need to pay for the 7 club to get the extra special workouts and instructors(although it would be a good investment to make) the workouts you get normally without payment are good nonetheless. :)).Version: 9.4.4

7 minuteThe time for the workout is only 7 to 8 mins which is perfect for my time schedule and the work outs were challenging but quite simple at the same time definitely recommend this app if you want to get fit for the new year!.Version: 9.12.3

Gets the blood pumping!I came back after my cruise and knew I needed to start something for a fitter me! I know this will get me motivated to get back in the gym. I just did my 7.5 minutes now it’s shower time before work. YOU CAN DO IT!!!! I really like this workout. I’ve used it for several years (on and off again). Initially, I was pooped could barely finish, couldn’t do the high-knees running in place so I modified it with high-knees marching in place 😛. After a week or so, I notice that my repetitions increased for each exercise and I had the desire to go to the free gym that was less than a 5 minutes walk from my residence. I’m back in again, and trying to build up the desire to make it to the gym 5 days a week and use the app at home to burn extra calories! Invest in YOU and USE THE APP! 2018 is YOUR year!!!!.Version: 7.2.5

Seven is the BestI have looked at a number of alternative apps and Seven as got most things absolutely right. In particular, it is very important for me to have a human interface (and choice of instructor is brilliant - wish there were a few more) and the manner they announce the next exercise has to be immediately after the preceding one to give you enough opportunity to change position. Not all the competitors manage to get even this right. One area where Seven falls short is the manner in which you are awarded your bonus workout plans for accomplishing each additional 2 months of usage: these are awarded randomly with the consequence that a basic beginner can find themselves being awarded e.g. the "Insane" workout (as I was) which would be positively dangerous for them to attempt. This is such an obvious failing that one wonders why it has still not been corrected? My next bonus workout was equally inappropriate with the consequence that neither of my first two bonus awards have been of the slightest interest to me. Why not simply let the user select a bonus workout? Failure to correct this poor feature 3 months after having it drawn to their attention loses the developer one star (which would be redeemed were they to address this issue!).Version: 5.4.1

Kickstart a new habitI haven’t exercised well for past 2 years since having my first child. Doing the workouts on this app has been an exciting and invigorating way to kickstart the exercise habit. Review on this appI personally like it so far, I downloaded the app a few days ago so I can only see a few improvements but it’s very functional and helpful. It also has a reminder to remind me to actually do the workouts which is VERY helpful, because I do forget things so often. I like how you can track your water intake, and it gives you certain meals to help with the journey. So to me as a person, I find the app very useful and lovely. I love this app!I love this app because unlike a lot of other workout apps I feel like there’s a lot of stuff that’s too hard for me to do ( I mean they don’t start off at a level of challenge that fits where I am physically), this app has workouts for beginners like me who need help. They aren't to hard but I still feel like I’m getting a really good workout. I also like that it gives you options of what kind of works you want. You can do group workouts, random workouts for when you just feel it, or a daily workout. And I also like that they aren’t too long and if I feel like I could have done more I can tell them why and they will change it for my next workout. Get fit week 1On day 3 and loving the variety. I’m just coming back from injuries and whilst some exercises and days have been a bit easy, it’s been great to ease back into moving my body without going too hard too fast and getting fatigued leading to stopping, as I tend to do. I’m definitely keen to unlock some more workouts after this week My only criticism, and this is a personal preference, I don’t like changing sides mid way through single side exercises. Surprisingly challenging-in a good wayTo keep it brief, I think this exercise app is very cool. I have never considered even looking for an exercise app, as I have independently been on the ball for most of my life. However, status post 3 young kids, full time job, and general daily survival, exercise has been taking last place for the priorities of my life. Nevertheless, I’m not sure where I found this little diamond in the rough of apps, but taking 7 min out of the day (more like 10 bc I need to rest more than the average person) to break a sweat and work my muscles seems ludicrous not to fit in my day. Mostly bc I know it’s the right thing to do. The app is super easy to use and easy on the eyes with excellent descriptions and demonstrations of the exercises. 1 week in and I’m hookedI’ve had this app for one week and I’ve decided to pay for the premium, I can now choose which workouts I can do, I was frustrated that after I’d done a workout, it would lock you out, but on paying the premium everything is unlocked, it might seem steep on the price having to pay out upfront but if you work it out I spend more on beer in a week than on this app, the workouts are great and pushes you to keep your steak going, love the interface and being shown how to do the exercises is great, keep up the good work.Version: 9.4.2

Great workout for folks with busy schedulesMinor point. There is a small bug with the iPad version. When you cycle through the various workouts, the Cardio, Strength and Mobility bars do not update but remain fixed at the values of the first workout. Minor, but frustrating as you can’t compare the focus of the various workouts. Otherwise, I’m still enjoying your great app. Version 7 looks good but I think the removal of the track tab is a retrograde. I know that most of the info is findable from the new profile or feed tabs but the old style gave a an easy comprehensive view. I would prefer that you add the track tab back in - either by combining the feed and notifications tabs (it seems like social media overkill to have both separate) or just adding an extra tab. The rest of my comments below remain valid. This is a great app for those with busy schedules or who travel a lot. I find I can usually squeeze in a routine or two on occasions when I would not have made it into the gym. The basic workout is great, the extra ones add variety and keep me interested. The subscription is a bit too expensive - if it was 50% cheaper I think you would triple the uptake. However, thanks for a great app. I have always stayed reasonably fit but this keeps me in better shape than I have been for years. COMPLETELY FREE workout appIf you’re like me and you see the “free workout app” and download it, and once you do you find that it’s not free at all.. well this is not the case with seven! This app is free and completely free! This is very diverse, able to connect to your Apple Watch and upload your workout data from the day to your progress! You can use it on your phone to step you through the workout with a virtual personal trainer who does the exercise with you! And also prompts you to keep going too! This app is really one of my favourites and allows me to choose the duration of my workout, if I’m pressed for time! Amazing!.Version: 9.14.2

Good to get yourself started but a lot is paidThe app is good to get into in the flow of doing quick workouts in and build yourself a routine and explore some exercises that you may not no of and then interstate into your own plan after a some additional research. There is a lot of workouts or body areas that are locked under paying. These should have the ability to be unlocked after daily use or sharing with friends but I can’t see anything. Nothing rewards the free download. The only way to ‘peep’ into these paid workouts is through the live sessions which happen every hour and provides support form the community. TLDR: The free app is basic but enough to get you going, paid is overprice but can preview through workouts through live sessions..Version: 9.5.5

Seven min workoutThis workout has helped me to become physically and mentally stronger, seven has also helped me to loose some wait and therefore made me feel moe comfortable in my body. Excellent app let down by interfaceI have been a long term user of this app, it is my exercise go-to with a great variety of routines and excellent animations and what used to be a really slick and efficient interface. This latest release, in my opinion, is a step backwards for the following reasons - Firstly, I used to enter the app and straight away had my favourites in view. I now have to move to other pages in the app to find them, much more clunky. Secondly, you cannot choose the number of sets from within the workout - you need to click half a dozen times to find Settings and enter sets here - really annoying particularly if you like to mix your workouts. Thirdly, the instructor is glitchy on the first set each time trying to call out of sync exercises. Fourthly a limit of only 5 sets in a workout - please raise to a greater number! Great variety and broken down into manageable chunksI’ve used this app for a number of years on and off but only today accessed the other types of workouts available- what a treat! Great to have something different to do as well as the old faithful exercises. I love this app as you can convince yourself to do it- no equipment needed, only 7 mins of your time etc. So good and usually you feel inclined to do another round - all the minutes add up before you know! My First Workout with 7!I’m 82 years old at the time of this very first 7 workout! But I hope that if I do my 7 everyday, then maybe, even after my first week, I should feel a bit better & younger even! Having signed up for the first 7 days free membership, providing I like it & 7 likes me, then my real intention is to sign up for the FULL YEARS MEMBERSHIP, because this option seems to offer much better value? Because I suffer from Chronic Low Back Pain with Sciatica all down my left leg, + a recent Severe is Right Knee Pain which emanates from the inside of the Right Kneecap, I’m now really struggling trying to do my 30 minutes Daily Back Strengthening Workout which is really much too long for me with this Back Pain & Right Knee Pain. Hence I often miss this, what should be a daily exercise! That’s why I’m going to try this much FASTER 7 Minutes, 7 Days Workout, which contains much of the same exercises like Sit Ups/Press Ups/Full Body Planks,etc. But so much FASTER & in a much shorter time! There’s just no time to settle down leisurely to do each exercise & doing them slowly & methodically. Instead I find 7 really FAST & FURIOUS! Gets you out of breath in no time at all! Good app! Needs more for those who aren’t subbed tho.Ok. I love this app. It motivates you to keep pushing yourself till you meet your goal. I do have a problem with the 80% that is locked behind a monthly subscription (or yearly I can’t remember). I wish that we could watch an ad and get access to the workout for 1 exercise. Like, if u wanna do core, u watch an ad, and get to do 1 core routine exercise, like planks and sit-ups, and crunches etc. You get all that for 1 exercise, and have a time limit till u can go it again. Then if you still want to exercise, you can go to a different exercise and do the same thing, getting another time limit till you can watch an ad to do it. That, to me, would be a better system that what you have now. Again, great app, but I do hope you take in mind what I’ve said about the ad thing. This app also has a great community. I like the live workouts as well! Just wonderingI absolutely love this app. It’s pushed me and my friends to be competitive and I can already feel differences. Such a good motivator for working outI'm not a 'fitness freak' as such but enjoy being active and I'm not a fan of going to the gym and working out. This workout app provides amazing shorter workouts that still get your blood pumping. I also love that you can unlock a new workout every second month you stay on the challenge - it's another motivator to exercise! Solid workout app 👊👊I got this app ages ago and never really used it but recently I started getting into it again and so far I love it. Out of all workout apps I’ve seen this is by far the most polished and unique one. I think more apps these days should award the user with benefits as it is fun, but at the end of the day it really is motivating too. One thing is if you don’t pay for the membership you have limited accessibility to it but for a yearly fee of £40 that’s better than most gyms and gives great value for what your getting. Really helpfulAs a 14 year old girl I find it very easy and helpful to use. I love how you can choose either Get Fit, Get Strong or Lose Weight. On top of that each category has levels, meaning you know where you are at at each category. I also like how you can pick and choose which one you do. The 7 month challenge is also very good as it motivates people to workout, and you also earn a new workout. The negative is most of the workouts are locked meaning you have to pay for them. You used to be able to get a free workout just for the day but it doesn’t have that anymore ( I don’t think ).I also like how you get an announcer and you can customise them .But overall it is a good app that I would recommend to anyone. Best workout for those who travelI have done it all: running, swimming, rock climbing, yoga, weight lifting, CrossFit, Pure Barre, the list goes on. All my fitness came to a crashing halt when my work schedule picked up to 12 hr days and staying in a hotel. Great app with Best Apple Watch app, just one thing...The app looks great I like the smooth animations. The Apple Watch app is way better than other app, you don’t need to press anything, it’s just great, I love it, good job on that. I like that it is focusing on workout and nothing else. That make it my favourite workout app out there. The only thing is... I pay for premium access so I could follow a plan, and it’s fine, but we cannot subscribe to it, we have to manually select that plan every time. I would like a follow button on plans so when we go back to the app it remembers where we left off and could also display the completed days not only in the calendar page but also under the subscribed plan page. I recommend but….I really like this app really good workouts as-well and you can set up your goals and if you are beginner middle of advanced I chose middle and there is a thing where you pick what workout you want to do there are about 20 different ones but … the thing is you can only like 5 different workouts for free if you want to do anything else you have to pay £7.50 a month and I understand that not everyone can afford to spend that much on an app so great app but maybe just make the different workouts cheaper or free (I highly recommend though).Version: 9.10.2

Impressive for a lazy full time workerI work long hours in a desk job and always say I don’t have time to work out (if I do have the time I’d rather be doing something else with it!). As a result I am unfit, unhealthy and a size or two overweight! This app makes it very difficult to find an excuse not to exercise. Who doesn’t have 7 minutes? First day and I did two sessions in one go - challenging for a beginner and I felt the burn but not so bad it put me off. Looking forward to the 7 month challenge and hopefully seeing some results. Only reason I have knocked off one star is that it doesn’t seem to integrate/share info with MyFitnessPal, which is a shame as I like to manage all my stats (food, exercise and calories) in one place. Getting strongerThis is a good app because you can say if you are a beginner for exercise. If you say that they will give you easier ones to start off with. You can even make your own schedule! When you are doing your workout, after each exercise, they will give you a five second break so you can cool down a bit. When I was doing my workout for the 11th time, I set up my workout with no pushups, but because I was doing that for a long time they gave me pushups. I didn’t think I could do it but because I tried hard I did it for 15 seconds! I couldn’t believe it. Each day I feel more stronger because of this app. Out of 10 I give this app a 10/10!.Version: 10.6.1

Greatly improved Apple Watch interactionUpdate July 2018- The interaction with Apple Watch now works very well. My only complaint is that when upgrading phones Seven forgets my favorites on the watch and doesn’t seem able to get them back. June 2017- Love the app itself, but it doesn't always play well with others. I use Seven with my Apple Watch. With previous versions I would frequently find that my workouts did not register with the phone app causing broken hearts and much unhappiness. It appeared to have been fixed with a late update in v2, but as of June 2017 the watch app still randomly cancels the workout midway through then forgets that I had a workout in progress. Also, last year I had two weeks left in the Seven Month Challenge when I lost my phone. Despite the claims of cloud synchronization I was not able to restore my progress. It is greatI found this a really good way to do exercises and i liked the way how you could change the announcer and pick how long you wanted the exercises to be and how long the intervals. The only bad thing I would say about this is you have to pay for the exercises. You only get 12 exercises and you have to workouts for 2 months to get a new set of exercises when there are like more than 50 sets. I think the app should make it that you get a new set of exercises every week. Overall though I find this a great app and I definitely recommend to get it..Version: 9.0.2

Great! Sustainable AND Effective!Have been working out with Seven for almost 3 years. It enables me to maintain an active lifestyle (soccer, skiing, etc.) without costing me hundreds of dollars or hundreds of hours. No equipment necessary so I work out in hotel rooms, while camping out, visiting relatives, anywhere… This flexibility has enabled me to be consistent with over 700 consecutive daily workouts while maintaining a solid baseline level of fitness. I can run a competitive soccer match or ski for 6 hours without worrying that I’ll not be able to make it. 7 minutes changed my lifeThank you so much for making an app so simple and yet motivating. I’m not fond of the gym but this little app has changed my view toward caring for my health. I first began with the 7 minute stretch routine. I was slightly overweight and very inflexible. I began to see improvement in my flexibility in just one day. After a few days of the basic stretch I ventured into more difficult exercises. I love it. I’ve been using it for over a year now. My favorite workout app!!!! AlmostI almost bought the subscription since using the free trial was fun but once the free trial was over the app had nothing to offer. It was no longer creating weekly workouts. I know you need money to continue the app but it would have been more appealing if there were something to show in the completely free version such as a sneak peek as to what we are missing. During my free trial time, I notice one of my unhealthy habits kicking in. The app is very competitive based which was one of the reasons I downloaded the app. But the problem was the way it went about the challenges, it was constant and had a bunch of notifications. Even when turning the notification off I was still implied to try to get some workouts in. At least for my mental health and comfort, this app wasn’t for me. Unfit 69er.This is a great app, I love 7 minute’s concept and the daily and full body workout option was my first choice, but for my age and unfitness the simplest workout is too fast and too tough! So I’ve modified my routine to work up to the desired speed. I don’t try to keep up with the vector guys, I do modified exercises like; pushups using the kitchen sink granite edge to angle up etc. I’m sticking with it so I can body surf safer, think clearer and enjoy life. Life-changingThis app has been amazing. I’ve struggled my entire life with exercise, but this app has helped me finally make it a daily habit. I now feel weird about the idea of going a day without doing anything. Even if some days it’s only the minimum 7 minutes, I can know that I still did something good for myself and kept the habit going. My streak is over 140 days now, and my goal is to finish the 7 month challenge without missing a day! You can ALWAYS find 7 minutes in your day. It’s good but then you get boredWhen I first started Seven, I thought that it would help me a lot, and it did however you have to pay 10£ a month to get the other workouts and you only get one work out for free and it doesn’t really help much at all, so you basically have to buy it as well eve though it says that it is free. But if you want the good version then you would have to buy it which is a bit unfair considering that it says it’s free. But it does help you (sort of) to get fit without going to the gym which I sometimes think is a waste of time. It can help you loose weight as well (if you buy it) but you still have a pretty good chance of loosing weight or getting fir and gaining muscle. It is overall really good for you and I would use it anyway and maybe keep it for a few months and then see if it helped you or if you like it and then maybe join the seven club and get more workouts..Version: 8.0.2

Great extension to 7 min workoutI have been using the normal 7 minute workout app for a while now but decided to try this one as a change. The standard full body workout is the same but I really like the free workout you get everyday (by watching a short ad). If it isn’t for me I do the standard workout. A good addition might be to add in a music option where you can control your music from the app or play a playlist. This app changed my lifeI usually don’t leave app reviews, but I couldn’t let people not know how amazing this app is. I downloaded this back in July 2019. I was overweight. I hid the weight very well and didn’t look “big” on the exterior, but every time I stepped on the scale, I knew it time for a change. I also wanted to lose some pounds before my best friend’s wedding in November 2019. I downloaded this app to give me some motivation to be active and put it front and center on my phone so there’s was no excuse for me to ignore it. I worked out Mondays-Fridays at 7 pm (keeping with the theme/title of the app). The workouts were very hard to do at first and soon it became all too clear how out of shape I was. But I didn’t let that deter me. I kept pushing. With this app, a healthier diet featuring smaller portion sizes and virtually no takeout food, 1-2 liters of water a day and increased fruit and veggie intake, I was able to lose 10 lbs before my best friend’s wedding. I still use this app to this day with the same weekday schedule and have lost a grand total of 25 lbs. I never thought in a million years I would go back to weighing as much as I did in high school. Great app!I don’t usually write reviews but since it is about seven it is worth my time. I have been using this app for about a month now and I have definitely seen an improvement in my weight! A massive success 👍🏻👍🏻This app is all you want and more. If you’re looking for an exercise app that you can fit into your day and see results this is the one for you. I have been using it for two months now. And I have to say after just using the full body work out once and sometimes twice every day, I see a big difference in my bodies strength and shape. I started with just doing the 7 minutes over a week. But in the second week I upped it to 14 minutes with not much trouble at all. It picks your heart rate up nicely without feeling too exhausted. Really helpful but could still be a bit betterI think this app is great, really useful to get you into exercise if you struggle to motivate yourself or get it into your routine. I really like that it accounts for pain and injuries, especially the fact that you can turn off individual exercises if they're too much for you. That said it would be even better if there were more options. For example I feel like I can do plank, I'm working up to keeping it going for the full time, but it's very very hard for me so rather than turn all the planks off I wish I could tell the app that it's hard for me and to only give me one of that type per session. More than that is just too much for me currently. Also I really think that turning on the knee injury filter should turn off all squats except maybe the chair ones because they are absolute agony and I'm certain they'd make me worse at my current recovery point..Version: 10.2.2

Pay hike is massiveI loved this app. It is easy to use and fun and has helped me lose weight and get fit over the last year. Easily catered for all abilities and the exercises were nice and varied (though could get a little repetitive on some of the programmes). I was shocked and really disappointed though when the monthly fee went up from £3 to £10 a month with no explanation or visible additional benefits. Basic but goodI downloaded based off other reviews. I’ve been using 7 for almost 2 months. The workouts are pretty generic and don’t seem to update often or at all with new ones. I wish they would work to incorporate new options, but it is a good app, easy to follow and use. Keeps me going and the decent variety it creates randomly helps change up my routine. The custom built workouts are easy to setup and follow at my own pace. I wish it was easier to switch rep length, rest length from each separate workout. The live workouts are engaging and offers a lot of variety. The leagues keep everyone accountable and gives a little competition. Love These WorkoutsI’ve only been using Seven for two days and I already love it. The workouts are clear and there are so many to choose from. The model shows you clearly how to do each one, and there are no distractions. You don’t even have to look at the screen because of all the sound cues. Quick, easy, gets your heart rate up.I used to be pretty fit, competing in triathlons but work and laziness has got in the way. I found this great app and am committing to one cycle a day, not a huge commitment, I have no excuses not to find 7 minutes for my health. You can do this anywhere, even after a few days I found I could do more exercise in each of the 30 seconds activities. I have experienced some mild muscle soreness especially after the pushups which should be expected. My heart rate is elevated and a break into a sweat so although it’s only 7 minutes, it’s 7 minutes of quality exercise I wasn’t doing before and I am feeling more energised and more motivated. I’m 53 and it suits me, I think anyone who has been struggling to get a bit fitter but is lost with all the advice out there should give this a go, adapt the exercises if necessary to suit your fitness and strength levels especially at the beginning. I can’t do full press-ups yet so I lean against the the window sill, gradually I’ll lean against objects closer to the floor as I get stronger. Perfect for busy momsRecommended by my sister, a working mom of 4. I’m a mom of 3, and it is the absolute best work out app I have tried. It is a realistic amount of time to squeeze in during naps or while the kids are peaceful and entertaining themselves (before they start to get on each other’s nerves!). 30 days and seeing great resultsToday I reached my 30th consecutive workout. Friends have said that I look better. I know that I feel better. I also do a one-hour session weekly with a personal trainer who focuses on core exercises. My work schedule involves lots of long hour days so doing this first thing each day gets me going. Great for people on the goI tend to be fairly busy day to day and find it hard to fit in a workout so doing 7 minutes a day is great for me, especially as you only need your phone so you can workout anywhere. I don’t have the premium version so can’t review the workout plans, but the free version full body work out definitely builds up a sweat for me. I have given the app 4 stars because I am getting results, but the only consistently free workout gets boring after the third or fourth time doing it. There is a feature where you can randomise your workout and shuffle the exercises, but at the end of the day you’re still doing the same 12 exercises day in and day out. There is another feature where each day one of the premium workouts is offered for free. This feature stopped me rating 3 stars because I use it most days - it’s great to get out of the boring cycle of the full body workout. I tend to do two sets everyday (14 minutes) and definitely feel it after so I think it’s a good app that gets results, but you need to use the free premium workout each day to stop yourself getting bored..Version: 7.3.4

Changed my life. No, literally!I started using this app 7 years ago (seriously). I was looking for a way to improve my health and give me confidence while going through grad school. Exercise was something I did sporadically but I knew I needed to make it a daily habit if I was going to maintain it during the busy or tough times. 7 minutes was something I could do (even though it’s more like 8 if you do double time on multisided exercises). It gave me something to take pride in. If all else went sidewise, at least I could keep my streak going. It’s been just over 1400 days since I missed one now and I’m looking to keep it up. Start slow and build the habit. Once you got that though, you’ll be amazed at how much better you feel. You will be surprised how 7 can change your lifeThat’s a big statement, I know. But 7 has taken me from someone who did not exercise to one 7 workout a day, to now having a 531 day streak. The key is to get started. I’ve got a fair amount of experience with this app. We average at least 3 a day as part of our workout program. This is our go-to for body weight HIIT. You can use it most anywhere and it’s got a pretty good variety of exercises when you are a subscriber. It could use more though - after 531 days there does tend to be some repetition. Though the new additions of the weekly plans and the challenges help mix it up. Would love to see integration with other components like weights or TRX - yes, I realize those require additional components (though TRX can be bodyweight only) but they would provide a lot more variations. I would also love to have the option for a family plan. For a long time both my wife and I could use this no problem. Then the app changed and we had to transfer the subscription back and forth even though we are on the same iTunes account. Now it appears this no longer works and each person has to get a subscription. If you are just starting out getting into shape this is a great way to do it. It’s only 7-10 minutes a day at a minimum. Soon that will be too easy and you’ll do more. Before you know it you’ve completed the 7 month challenge and changed your body and your health. You can do it!.Version: 8.6.2

A little challengingI have trouble doing push-ups and almost every arm exercise. But I always think to myself when I think it is hard is that I just say I know this is challenging but if you keep doing it you will get stronger. Motivating but lacks organizationI’ve tried a lot of these and seven is extremely good during the workout - intelligently demonstrating with well drawn cartoons technique which can be swiped into a 360 view - this makes the app good on safety as technique even for body weight exercise is very important - you can start the exercise and not need to touch the phone until finished - there is a huge array of seven minute exercise groupings with rather catchy ‘ bums and tums’ type titles - it’s never clear to me which exercise I should be doing the next day - I’d like more set up and go type organization for different objectives - I’m a fit but stiff overweight 57 year old man and I’m guessing I need a different steer than a slim 20 year old flexible female - I think some basic yoga in here would be a good development - overall 4 stars as it is well put together and with a little bit more guidance for different types of beginner a clear 5.Version: 8.1.1

A great little app but pricey for what it isA great little idea that anyone should be able to fit in any daily schedule. Really easy to follow & timing between exercises is spot on. Got it as I’m working away & the festivities of an indulgent December are starting to show and can’t go to my gym as away. Would use at home when I can’t hit the gym too. However I would not pay £9.99 a month to unlock the rest of the exercises. I think it’s vastly overpriced... sorry. I realise we all need to get paid for the work we create, but remember in some parts of the UK you can get full gym membership including classes between £20 - £25 a month. Mine is actually £69, so I will pay top dollar if it’s convenient, a good service & offers a good variety. Also subscriptions make me nervous, stopping them when one has no use for them slips the mind plus the usual small print jargon puts me off. My advice would be to offer to unlock 3 new exercises at a flat rate of say £10. You can still offer the monthly subscription service with additional benefits compared to the unlock & pay price bracket but I’d seriously review those prices. This app is great.I use it for workout only so I don’t feel like I’m missing out from the premium. You don’t have to do a long workout as it’s only seven minutes and if you feel like you need more just do another one. There’s a range of different instructors to choose from, you don’t really need them but I like them as they push you and motivate you. What I needI appreciate the brevity and variety of the workouts. Because I do them at home, I can choose what I want to focus on: form, speed, quantity, uh... rest... I am in control, and can adapt to what my particular needs are at the time of the workout. I love the fact that there is no music, and no one bullying me to take chances my muscles aren’t ready for, and I can turn off push reminders. I had a shoulder strain that prevented me from doing side plank and push-ups for a few months, so during those exercise times I worked on form; when I was ready, I was doing the exercises better than pre-injury. I did have to research on the correct way to do a push-up (no shame in needing more information) but for a quick maintenance workout this app has been very helpful..Version: 9.0

Never boring!Wow. I am not an athlete. I’m not a super active person. I’m not a health fanatic. Just a pretty regular middle-aged person who, from the typical stresses of life, let his health slip a bit - gaining some weight, bloodwork that’s not critical but could get worse, etc. Enter Seven into the picture. I am on a 49 day workout streak, which I’m pretty sure is the longest I’ve ever achieved. Even on difficult days when I really don’t feel like it, I think to myself, “It’s just seven minutes. I can do this.” Sometimes I try to do two 7 workouts in a day, sometimes 1 paired with a walk or something. And of course this is not a “miracle” app - I’m also having to get better control of my diet and stress management. But I AM seeing improvements. I feel better, and I can tell I’m getting stronger little by little. But the most impressive thing about this app that I really wanted to write about is that, even after 49 straight days of 7 workouts, I STILL encounter new movements that it asks me to do within a given session. I use to run for my school and got 1 place in the inter schools but after that year I was homeschooled. Most of the day I was sitting at a desk and hardly ever done exercise. I wasn’t fat but I wasn’t fit, I went from running 1,000 meters and not being puffed to only having to walk up the stairs and getting puffed. When I downloaded seven I had change in my mind. Great long term exercise solution!I've been using this app for over a year and a half now and I've seen a huge difference in my work days since implementing it 3 times a day. I do a workout every 2 hours throughout my work day. For someone like me, who sits at a desk all day, it's made a huge impact on feeling healthy because it effectively breaks up my sedentary job and keeps my metabolism up. I used to be a lunch time workout guy but this only made my heart work once per day-this simply wasn't doing it for me and I frequently had issues with poor circulation in my legs etc. But now, by exercising multiple times a day with the high intensity that many of the 7 minute workouts demand, I feel much more physically balanced. It is great7 second work out is great since I have been looking for workout apps and they were all terrible but this is amazing since it has no adds during your workout and asks you how you feel afterwards. When you first get the app it asks you what your goal is and then all the work outs you do are helping you to reach your goal.Version: 9.2

Nice App and it appears the producers listen to suggestionsI really like this app for working out at home. It has a wide variety of exercises and the “perks” are really nice. One of the things that I like the most about the app is that you get rewarded for doing exercises by gaining access to more exercises. This is unusual and shows that the app producers actually care about getting people to exercise, as it means that even someone who doesn’t have money to spend can eventually gain a variety of workouts and enjoy some variety. Users are also offered one unlocked set of exercises a day (somewhat random), so they can try out all the sets. The only thing I don’t like about the app is that I have bad knees and the full body workout (the basic one offered) has been difficult (I’ve had to modify many of the exercises in order to be able to do them). As a suggestion: I recommend giving users a choice between full body and the light/easy fit for their basic set — or unlocking the easy fit set early on. The full body can be hard on the knees and it would be nice to have the easier set to start with (for people with old injuries like mine)..Version: 7.3.4

Awesome app- highly recommendI would really like for there to be more workouts that u don’t have to pay for because i came on the app to try and get fit and make it fun and it’s got really limited options without paying. But that aside i love the app- it’s really easy to use, it motivates you and it makes it really easy to do even a little workout often and keep fit!.Version: 9.3

Brilliant appI have loved this app since day one (since it first came out) and for the most part the updates have been great. But please please please please please bring back the weekly average graph(s). They really help keep track. The social element is OK but will take a while to build up and in the mean time, I miss being able to track myself - it was after all while I was using it! I do this for me! And I know the social element is good for the business but it shouldn’t be at the expense of the being happy going solo. Everything is as good as it’s ever been..Version: 7.0.1

I don’t think you can change your subscription and other problemsApproximately, I’ve been using this app for 4 days now, but there were some problems. I think I should rate this a 2 1/2 stars. The first problem is you can’t change your subscription. I am a young tween and I knew that because it didn't say that you can change it, and I don't pay for stuff like that. Second, last time there were more than 200 workouts, now like 188 of them disappeared probably because of the update. Last, you can’t use wifi in another place because it's illegal to not ask the owner of the place maybe. Please fix those problems whatever I said and make it go back to the way we want it to be!!.Version: 9.3.1

Amazing app to lose weight ✨I wish I had found this app sooner because it’s so cool you can create your own workouts and there’s a animation of a person doing the workout with you and encourages you which I love also they’re are live lessons and you can join with other people and even challenge you friends with workouts and they even make custom workouts for you for free !!!!!!! And there’s a leaderboard everyday to see the highest results of exercise across the word and also shows how many people in the world are exercising with you I love it. Helped Me Burn Weight!I absolutely LOVE Seven. It has helped me lose weight and have fun at the same time! I haven’t been able to do even ONE push-up. Seven is helping so much! I’m nearly there! I’m using this app even though I’m only 8. I love this app so much, it is also really understandable. But, I only have one tiny problem. There is so much things to unlock. Maybe I’m just learning to unlock, or, you have to pay. I hope you don’t. I probably just have to do Seven more. Right now I do it daily! I love this app so much, I don’t know how I can pay it back. Helped me build a habitI tried exercising for a while but never stuck to it… I’ll be honest, I even did try Seven a few times previously and didn’t stick to it long. But earlier this year I gave this another go and decided to keep dedicating 7-8 minutes of my morning to moving a bit more. And I did! I’ve now completed the 7 months challenge and changed my morning routine, and now that I’ve built that routine and made working out less scary/boring it made it very easy to tack on some weightlifting, all from being a couch potato. The exercises are varied, you can see progress on your body over the months and I keep recommending it to friends. Great job!.Version: 10.5.5

Was a great app - latest update has ruined itThe workout approach is great with decent routines and good demo avatars. Previously the app drove what felt like meaningful progress because you had to complete workouts to progress along levels for strength, fitness and weight loss. They changed it without warning, making it a schedule rather than a meaningful progression, and it appears you have to set your own difficulty and can progress along weeks whether you complete the workouts or not. I used to look forward to the challenge of completing the next progression, now the plan appears completely random and depends on the day you work out rather than the work you have put in. I contacted customer service for support. They were prompt and courteous, but didn’t provide much useful guidance on how to use the app differently to achieve meaningful progress. Shows me that this is just a poor update rather than user error. Perigee should have kept things as they were and I would request that you give people the option to adopt a change rather than surprise them and ruin their workouts without warning.Version: 8.6.1

Only for freeI decided I couldn’t find an excuse for just seven minutes of exercise. I only use the free fitness program and after six weeks I’ve lost nearly 2kg. Sometimes even my six year old joins in!.Version: 8.1.1

Life changingI went from not working out for 5 years to not missing a day in 90 days. Seven eliminates the most common excuses for not working out: finding time, traveling to a gym, investing in equipment, etc. I work out after I wake up before showering right in my living room. It also eliminates the uncertainty about what to do next, as it suggests workouts based on your goals (Fitness, Strength, or Weight). All you have to do is press “Start” and a workout will be loaded for you that takes into account what muscles you worked on the day before, as well as your goals/difficulty. I have tried everything: gym memberships, trainers, working out with a buddy, etc. Seven has been the only thing that has motivated me to be more active. More than worth it to pay the subscription since it is way less than most gym memberships..Version: 8.3
