Too bad 🤷🏽‍♂️The app is very cool, however after seeing the 50%-off deal on the 1 year subscription and finally deciding to purchase it, I saw 100% of the price being taken off my account without me knowing (as both the app and the appstore showed the 50%-off deal) After contacting both Apple and Perigee’s support I learned, through Apple itself, that this product wasn’t eligible for a refund. I guess it’s just too bad, I’ll just start 2019 knowing I have lost a hundred dollars and the trust I had put in this app’s services..Version: 8.0.5

Great workouts but the new sound effects are confusing and annoyingI previously gave this app 5 stars but needed to downgrade to 2 due to the awful new sound effects during a workout. The previous sound effects were intuitive and allowed me to start and stop without needing to look at my phone. Now I’m not sure if an exercise is starting or stopping or if I’m supposed to switch sides, because the sounds are so similar , and I keep having to check my phone while working out. Talk about “fixing” something that wasn’t broken. UPDATE: it turns out that when they made this update they turned off the whistle sound, which made no sense, since it is key in knowing when a workout starts/ends. I figured this out and turned it back on, which resolved much of the issue. Still, why turn it off in the first place? Reluctantly updating to 3 stars..Version: 9.7

Too expensiveYou’re product is to expensive compared to the previous price and the upgrade isn’t worth the price. Please consider downgrading the price again so we can all enjoy your app..Version: 10.7.3

A little disappointedSo this app was probably my favorite workout app, it had a fun variation of workouts to keep me from getting bored, and a free daily workout so I could try the fun variation of workouts as I'm unfortunately too broke to afford anything outside of the basic needs. Imagine the defeat I felt when, without warning, the free workout that kept me working out almost every day for nearly 6 months was suddenly gone. Now I've done almost all the trainer challenges, I've played with the workouts I've earned, but this app just doesn't feel as special anymore..Version: 8.3

I’m not paying THAT!!!Originally this app had it all! So many workouts to choose from, quick and easy so you could fit them in anytime of the day. Usability was great and the best feature was the ability to pick and choose new workouts and pay for them one at a time, building up your own personalised selection. This generous system allowed the app to be accessible to everyone. You bought a new workout when you could afford it. Now unfortunately if you want those other workouts your only option is a subscription which will cost you as much as an iTunes account! I'm very disappointed. Have the makers of this app considered the casual user? Not everyone is a hardcore workout user. If Someone just wants one new workout, why would they pay a subscription just to get it!? There a so many apps out there offering very similar things and you just excluded a large proportion of people by imposing a subscription.....interestingly one of the main things that put people off joining a gym and have them turning to their phones for their fitness support. The app is good, the cost is too high. Could you now have levels or user? One where you can just buy the basic work outs when you want to change it up, one with a lower fee that has more features and throws in a mix for you and one with all the bells and whistles for the hardcore user who doesn’t mind and can afford that subscription???.Version: 8.1.1

Good design marred by crashes on watchI really want to call this app my go-to for workouts. The default Scientific Seven-Minute Workout makes for a great daily routine – even in a hotel room – and if time allows, I can easily opt for multiple circuits. The watchOS app even illustrates exercises and allows for basic workout configuration, which makes it the best I’ve used so far…when it launches at all. Thing is, unless I wait the six or seven minutes to restart my Watch, the app is more likely to crash on launch three to five times before it successfully starts; and about half the time, it crashes before it writes my heart rate data to HealthKit, dropping a ton of useful biofeedback about performance and recovery. If they could fix the crashes on the watch, I’d pay for a subscription and enjoy varying my routine. As it is, I’m going to keep my eye out for a similarly designed app that’s reliable. Update with a great example: I just used the watch app to configure a two-circuit workout (2x 7 minutes) and started in. After one circuit, the announcer says, “Workout complete!” Fine. Whatever. I tap the workout to start it again, and after the first circuit is finished, it decides to move on to a second circuit this time. I swipe right and the only option, of course, is [Cancel], so it doesn’t log that second workout at all!.Version: 7.0.3

Awful, waste of money.Horrible app 0/10 would recommend, only recommend this app to people you hate. 🤮.Version: 9.3.1

Free and PayedHi I would like to suggest that you add a few more workouts into the free version like the full body one. You could add maybe a little core workout and maybe just a few more diverse excersizes? This would be great and would make people leave much happier reviews. All everyone is looking for is something free, diverse and makes a difference on their bodies. You can still make money by having adds and you pay to have no adds and extra special more workouts. Thankyou for your time hope you can compromise something maybe? 💗.Version: 9.8.2

Used to be much betterI’ve been using this app for quite some time. It used to be much better before as you had to earn workouts through keeping up with the exercises, but now you can simply purchase everything. Back when you had to earn workouts, I found myself not missing a day, I completed it everywhere, even on vacation. I felt the need to earn was enough to push me and I worked harder to acquire the missing sections. Now with purchasing it all, I barely use this app, only when I’m short on time and still only the free section. I find having to pay for it took away my motivation to use the app as there is plenty out there for free. This app isn’t SO amazing I need to spend money on it. The amazing part with keeping up with the workouts and the motivation that came from it to keep earning more workouts and badges. Now that portion is gone and I find myself using other apps and videos instead, for free cause I don’t need or want to spend the money. Sorry!.Version: 8.3.4

Not for beginners/out of practice/ older with back issuesThis would be a great app if there was a provision for beginners/ out of practice/ elderly(easy does it) and back problems option in the free to use section. You can only open up options for these for free once you have completed 7 months worth of exercises! Surely if you have managed that, you don’t need to do any of those options! I am 57 and used to be very fit, but after a year of being unable to exercise I now find myself overweight, very unfit with lower back problems and would like to ease myself back into exercising without causing any damage to back, knees, hips etc. the hiit program that you are given for free is way too intense, having you going from two or three standing exercises to going down to the floor for another two only to get back up to standing for one and then back to the floor again. Very difficult if you have weight/back/ joint issues. Also some of the exercises are quite high impact on joints with no alternatives offered. It would really help if you could offer some easing in/ beginners/ elderly exercises in the free to use section right from the word go. It might encourage more people to stick with it and eventually subscribe..Version: 10.1.11

Developer Took MoneyI originally paid for a number of workouts in the first form of this app. They have changed to a subscription format and I cannot access the workouts that I originally purchased from the company. There is no way to contact the developer to either request a refund or have my purchases restored. I would not trust this developer..Version: 10.7.3

Repetitive workoutsGreat platform as a whole, but the exercises are extremely repetitive. Quite frustrated since I bought a 3 month membership, and find myself stuck with the same repetitions. Advice: Don’t buy any of the app subscriptions and stick to YouTube HIITs. Cheaper, better and more intensive..Version: 10.8.1

Free app is just a hookI was disappointed with this app, because you can’t tell from the free version whether or not it’s any good. It gives you random daily workouts that may or may not be at your fitness level, and you have to do them every day for two months in order to unlock a new workout. You can miss two workouts each month, but the third one re-sets your progress. The app asks you to decide how many days per week you will work out. I chose six days. One rest day each week seemed like a good idea. But the app counted my chosen rest day against me and started my two months over! WHAT? The thing is, if I’m just starting out in a fitness routine, I’m not paying for something I don’t know I’ll be willing to stick to. And I can’t figure out if I’m willing to stick to it if it’s constantly random and not a true trial of the app’s services. Yes, I could use the free 7-day trial, but this app just feels like a constant plug to buy their yearly subscription, which is a tactic that annoys me. Have a solid lite version and let me decide from there. At any rate, I did some more homework and will be switching over to a different seven minute workout app..Version: 8.2.9

Accessibility for seated/limited mobility is lacking.First the main glaring issue: Seated exercises are locked behind the paywall. Seated exercises should be made available for free, especially as there are individuals who are disabled or limited mobility who could benefit from a free, daily seated exercise. Please make this available for everyone, and don’t exclude disabled or limited mobility individuals. I have family members with limited mobility who could greatly benefit from this simple exercise app if seated workouts were included for free, and I imagine the user base could grow as well. I also feel like unlocking workouts permanently should be easier to accomplish rather than unlocking a single one after a 3 month workout-streak. These challenges could be interrupted due to circumstances outside of the user’s control. It seems awfully unforgiving. Apart from my gripes on accessibility and unlocking workouts, I enjoy this app for getting a quick, high-intensity workout in. The exercises are pretty straightforward, though I modify some of them as they’re too intense for me. The interface is well polished and nice to look at. Be aware that the workout timer has a glitch where the final 3-second countdown either happens to slow or fast. Hopefully this can be addressed..Version: 9.8.3

Good presentation but a number of exercise issuesThis app is great in all but the exercises. Some of them are difficult to do indoors with limited space. The app also likes to throw something at you like step-ups or tricep dips that require furniture, or wall sits that require open wall space, and it gives you zero warning in order to find something suitable. So you’re either scrambling to find the necessary equipment/space within the 10 seconds you’re supposed to be resting, you have to pause it in which case it’s no longer 7 minutes and you lose intensity, or you have to skip them. I flat out can’t do some of them because I’m either too tall to do it indoors and/or I don’t have suitable furniture or free space. This is all compounded by the fact that you can’t choose to exclude an exercise from future workouts. Rather than say “hey I don’t have the necessary space or furniture for tricep dips, stop showing me them” it’ll just keep trying to get you to do them over and over. There are usually 3-4 exercises I can’t do out of the 12, that’s a quarter of the workout gone. I’m in the free trial too, so supposedly there are 200 exercises, yet it still shows me the same one I have to skip over and over. It has potential but it needs a lot of work..Version: 8.3.4

If you don’t pay, you only get 1 workout!!!This app is great, In the first week of having it I’d do the daily workout and live in the morning and feel great and ready for the day, however I’m under 18 so I cannot pay for the subscription but I didn’t have to for the bare minimum of the stuff it offered and I was doing which was great. However, in the second week all of the daily workouts were locked because I needed the subscription but I didn’t before, and not all my times fit in with the lives so I could only do this 1 free style workout (12 exercises, 7 mins) which Is the same thing twice everyday and it gets extremely boring, it is easier making up your own workouts every day but I really enjoyed it when you get the daily workouts for free I understand you need to get paid somehow however you need more than one workout for free for some of those who can not pay or afford the subscription, thanks for your time - Millie xx.Version: 9.7.1

Great App but not enough workouts...This is a great app - I love the clear and simple layout, instructor voices and the tracking system. The only downside is that you don’t get many exercises to do! It is really a problem because you have to pay to get a subscription, and if you do not feel willing to pay then you only get 12 exercises. Doing it each day gets really repetitive and it would limit the results of doing the workout. I believe there are many apps out there that are better than this. So before you stick to this app, make sure you try out other apps first..Version: 8.0.5

Where is the daily free workout?I updated the app and it’s gone..Version: 8.2.8

Good app but no hart rate with watchDon’t get me wrong I do love this app but there are better free apps that also work with the Apple Watch and recording your hart rate when using the phone app. For some reason when you start a workout on the phone it no longer prompts the watch to record your hart rate. This is the only reason I’ve given it three star. I use other health apps that are free and when you start a workout it also prompts the watch and record your hart rate and for me this is a much as I workout daily. If this is a problem with the app please fix it or add the function. It’s the only place the app is lacking..Version: 9.12.3

DisappointedI never review apps but this really got under my skin. This app started off great. I’m a new mom (during a pandemic nonetheless) and trying to get back to working out. I’ve crashed and burned when trying to jump right back into my old 30-60 min workouts so 7 minutes was doable for me. I went almost a whole week working out and I felt great! The workouts were fun, I loved the variety, the live workouts, the duels, achievements, pretty much all of it! I was pumped for the next week and then boom! I’m locked out 😡 I understand app developers need to make money but I feel the option to either pay or continue free with limited features should always be an option. Completely locking me out immediately and forcing me to pay if I wanted to continue, made me stop using your app and not wanting to pay. There are SO many fitness apps on the market now so from an app developer’s perspective, I think you should give the consumer the option to pay or not pay. Most apps do that and they are successful. We’re still in a pandemic and people can’t go to the gym. Now is the time to appeal to the consumer and not back them into a wall to pay for your app. I bet if you let them workout for free with limited features and they’re successful with reaching their goals, they’ll upgrade later. Just my two cents 🤷🏼‍♀️.Version: 9.5.2

Can’t do much without subscriptionDecent workouts. Like the format. But free doesn’t give much for options. Only 7 day trial. Maybe with a month trial or 2 week trial? Or more free options. It would be a lot better..Version: 9.0

Did not give me a refundI did not purchase this app. I ended the trial before it ended. It says that I will get a refund of $70.00 if I cancel the trial. I canceled the trial on the second day of the 7 day trial. This app takes my $70.00 and doesn’t refund the money like the instructions have documented. Have I misunderstood the instructions?.Version: 10.7.5

Disappointed at new updateNormally, I am very impressed with Seven’s programming and I enjoyed working out daily with the FREE TODAY edition. However with the new update released a few days ago, this feature has been removed meaning the app is only accessible to those paying for full access. This has made many users angry and upset due to this being the reason they chose Seven over other workout apps. Hopefully the programmers will see sense and restore this feature to the app and regain the followers they lost in making this questionable decision. I hope our disappointment as users has been noted in this review and I would encourage others to also write in due to this occurrence - please change this. Thanks..Version: 8.2.9

Preferred when you could buy workoutsI loved it when they made it so you could buy individual workouts. Was disappointed when I started using it again to find that you can only access additional workouts if you pay a monthly fee. Great workouts but not being able to access the ones I want without signing up for a subscription doesn’t work for me. EDITED: Tried the subscription hoping to do one of the plans. Alas, the 3 available plans change daily and I can’t find them anywhere other than the main screen so I can’t continue with a plan after the first day. Would like to unsubscribe but don’t see how to do so. EDITED TO RESPOND TO DEV: I did contact support and they didn't understand what I was talking about and kinda responded like I was an idiot so I asked how to unsubscribe and that they could help me with, so I did..Version: 7.3.4

My reviewI have been part of seven for quite a long time now and have always loved the app. However in the new update I find that I can only do selected workouts instead of a workout plan. From this you may had already guessed that I am not paying for the workouts as I am using the free programme. I understand this may have been a way to raise profits but I will personally not spend and money on the app as I find it unnecessary. Again I really enjoy seven as it encourages and keeps me active so I would appreciate it if you would consider going back to the original free workout plan. I do find the new animation characters very impressive and congratulate you on the apps success. I hope you take my comment into account. Thank you..Version: 8.0.2

Good!!Easy to use and good for motivation (seven month challenge and the achievements you can get). Love seeing what my free workout of the day will be. However I wish there was more for free users - it’s a bit rubbish that you can’t buy workouts for a one off payment. The free new workout every two months on plan is a little disappointing. And considering my gym membership is £10 a month, I wouldn’t be prepared to pay that just for an app. If there was some sort of offer for your first subscription (50% discount for your first few months) then I’d definitely give it a go and continue if it really worked. Or drop the price to something more reasonable, around £6 a month?.Version: 7.0.3

Not too bad actuallyI have wanted a good workout app for a long time, and to be honest, this ones pretty good! The workouts are short and challenging, and work perfectly with my schedule, because the workouts are short. There are 2 things I would say about this app, but otherwise, it is a good app. The first thing is that there are almost NO WORKOUTS you can do if you don’t have premium. You can do about 12 then THATS IT. I mean, I understand that you need to make money and stuff, and I’m not saying all of the workouts should be free, but I think that more of them should be available to those who don’t have premium. The second thing is that it is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to listen to music and podcasts while your doing a workout. Your app will pause my music about every 20 seconds, so then I have to pause the workout, go into my music app, resume my music, and then resume the workout. It really is a pain, so if you could make it so it doesn’t pause my music and podcasts, that would be extremely helpful. Overall, good app with good workouts. I would just fix the music problem so it won’t pause my music, and add more workouts available to people who do not have premium. Thanks for reading this, and good job! Keep it up! 👍.Version: 9.0

Unable to share with my Family !!!Apple App store says that Seven is available with family sharing, and I want to let my family access it but cannot ! Seven says: » We're excited about family sharing for subscriptions and are looking into making this possible soon! » In the meanwhile, i have paid for my family but they cannot access it !!!.Version: 9.8.1

Regular people need not botherApp’s exercises are good but the way the app is designed, there’s no motivation to continue after “failing” to complete a challenge… like, for those motivated to exercise through fear of failure, this is a great motivator, but if you just want to get a little fitter, look elsewhere. App forces you i to exercise competitions where failure is imminent if you miss 3 days in a month… so once you’ve ‘failed’ what’s the motivation to keep starting from zero? For many, exercising 20-25 days per month is plenty and should be rewarded but Seven basically says ‘don’t bother’ if you can’t do all 30 days. Motivation Fail..Version: 10.7.5

Need to be able to blacklist certain exercisesThere needs to be a setting where you can blacklist certain exercises so that they don’t appear in your program. People with injuries can’t use this app properly until this is fixed. Plus people hate certain exercises, like planks or burpees. On that note, what’s with all the planks? I didn’t mind them before but they are in every single session, sometimes multiple times and I am so over them..Version: 9.14.3

Not even a freemium appAt first, I really liked the idea of alternating my workouts to keep things quick and interesting. In addition, I liked the fact that you could select a randomly generated workout at any time. Some of the exercises were difficult to do in succession (as other reviewers have mentioned, not having the space or equipment for step ups, etc) but the fact that you could tap on the workout and see the exercises and a description and tips was super helpful once I figured it out. Unfortunately, going in to the second week, all the exercises were locked and the only way to see them was to pay for the membership. I’ve seen that every other week that you can unlock new workouts which would be a great goal to work up to, but I don’t really want to financially commit to something until I have a better feel for how often I’d actually use it..Version: 9.4.4

Not the best.I’m not much of the person to criticise apps, but I feel that the app should give you more than just 1 workout. Because if you do the same workout over and over, it gets boring and then you stop using the app. Could you please make it so that there is at least 5-10 workouts. Though if you buy the premium you get a lot of exercises, but I was looking for an app that doesn’t do that. So could you please change that. The app has a good idea of what it is trying to do with a short but helpful exercise to do almost anywhere. But if your still reading this and you don’t want to buy exercises on an exercise app, then I wouldn’t recommend getting..Version: 10.4.2

Why did you get rid of buy individual workouts?!I LOVE this app, but I find it ridiculous they mandated this monthly subscription! The cost of the forced subscription is not worth what you get! The monthly subscription for the app is in no way cheap, heck for $10 more I could get a monthly membership at the gym down the street! The whole point of the app is to do quick and cheap workouts at the comfort of your own home, but now the inability to buy workouts for life for the $2 a workout and being forced into a subscription is ridiculous and greedy of the app. Please do way with the subscription, or at least bring back the ability to buy workouts. The whole earning a workout for life after doing the challenge for two months or whatever is NOT GOOD ENOUGH..Version: 7.1.2

Nice app but unclear advertisingWell done app but it’s pretty unclear whether I will need the subscription or not. It prompts you on install to sign up for a trial without telling you what it’s for. If you click past that screen I was able to do a basic workout, but idk if it’s going to eventually force me to get the subscription. All I want to do is the classic 7 minute workout for free and it’s just unclear if I can do that with this app. I’m worried as soon as I get used to it, it’s going to tell me I need to pay..Version: 10.3.3

Horrible for BeginnersI am a beginner. I don’t have a lot of experience working out at home. I thought this my be a great app to try. It led me through some questions, and then presented me with starting my first work out. I specifically specified I was a beginner during the sign up process. I pressed the button to start the workout and the app immediately went into drill instructor mode. It began counting off exercises without any explanation as to what the exercise was or how to properly do it. The first one, jumping jacks, was easy enough to figure out. Then it went on to things like “wall chair.” As a novice, I had no idea how to do it. Do I do reps? Do I hold the position? How do I make sure I’m doing it properly? When it got to push ups, apparently it just assumed I was fit enough to do a full set (I don’t even know how many that was), same with sit ups. It went so quick that I barely had time to look and see what type of sit-up. Did they want my arms behind my head or in front of me? It was already 2/3 through the count when I figured it out. Finally I stopped the workout. It asked me if I was sure I wanted to quit, and I said yes. I lost all data from the sets I had completed. Also, there was no way to tell the app how many push-ups I actually did versus what the app wanted me to do. This app might be okay if you already somewhat fit and know what you’re doing, but it left me feeling frustrated..Version: 9.3.1

Overweight and tryingI carry extra weight around the middle, I am the sort of person who could easily go for an hour long walk, but get me to climb one flight of stairs and I am incredibly out of breath. I find these workouts hard, even the easy ones… some days I find that motivating to strive for improvement, some days I find it overwhelming and hard to maintain..Version: 10.5.5

The free version is deceptiveI never write product reviews, but I feel people researching this app should be warned. The first week you get access to pretty much everything and it is great. Easy to use, shows how to do each exercise, great variety of moves and plans for different goals. HOWEVER. After that first week, the plug is completely pulled on you. Almost the entire app is locked off behind a subscription. All the plans and the vast majority of workouts are locked behind a subscription of $10 per month. The free version they offer has about a dozen basic exercises, and when I tried it 3/12 of them were just simple jumping jacks. The only other option is to do the hourly live workout, but that completely removes the convenience of doing 7 minutes on a busy schedule. They counter by saying you unlock more workout programs after 2 months but again the app locks you out after 1 week until you buy a subscription. Very frustrated with the experience on this app and will be deleting. My advice to anyone reading is to look elsewhere. There are tons of other workout apps that aren’t a bait and switch like this one is..Version: 9.6.2

Lost everythingI started the App up today and after spending a few years with it discovered that everything I’ve earned has disappeared and I’m now back to zero. No more “Achievements.” No more “Streaks.” No more unlocked workouts (I had about 20). I have been reset to one workout and a 2 day streak. So although I have enjoyed this app I have no choice to give it a one star review for the complete and total reset. VERY disappointing to have spent all this time with the app and gaining all the achievements and workouts and streaks to once again start for zero..Version: 9.7

No way to choose alternative exercises or work around injuriesI’m in my mid 50s, work out four times a week, and wanted an app to offer quick workouts for off days or travel. On the surface, this app looked like a good fit, but the lack of a way to adjust workouts for injuries, remove high-impact exercises from the library, and/or swap to higher or lower-impact excises during a session are deal breakers. Get to my age, and you’re likely to have a few dings and nicks that you need to work around during a workout. Other apps I’ve been trying allow you to enter problem areas into your profile or offer the chance to swap an exercise during a session. But not this one. Just a few days in, I was given a workout that included pike jumps (which are probably not a great exercise option for anyone not trying out as a cheerleader or for Cirque du Soleil anyway), clapping pushups, and ninja squat jumps. This app only allows you to skip an exercise entirely or figure out an alternative on your own. If you’re young and uninjured or have been fortunate enough to hit middle age as unscarred as Tom Cruise appears to have achieved, you may like this app. If, like me, you sometimes need to nuance your way around particular exercises, take a look at alternatives like Home Workouts or 30-Day Workout Challenge that recognize that some of us need alternatives every so often..Version: 10.3.3

Good intensive workout but needs real instructor on screenWould be better to have real instructor on screen so you feel like you’re exercising with someone. Helps to motivate you. Also, when I start the exercise on the phone it would be handy to use the Apple Watch to pause or provide some feedback on how I went. The app can’t learn if I’m struggling with some exercises to adjust its next recommendation for workout. Not sure if using the app on the iPad contributes to HealthKit..Version: 8.0.4

Why do you lock all of the functions and workout behind a paywallWhy do you lock all of the functions and workout behind a paywall?...which is sooo expensive. You’re advertising this as a free app when it’s almost useless for a free user. It’s clear you have no intention in helping people..Version: 8.2.6

Got me to my goal! It’s a great app to help reach your goal and motivate you to continue working for the body you wish you had! I’ve lost 20 ponds in 3 weeks! I just wish there was more exercises for non-membership. I still love it!.Version: 8.4.1

My new favorite! Before and during COVID, I tried out a lot of diet/exercise apps to get some results from my routines. I settled on Keto for diet but could not find what I was after til I hit upon 7. This is an ideal app, I think. Foremost, there is no trainer doing a bunch of repetitious counting, which I find very annoying. And you can configure that function any way you like. If you would like a drill sergeant, they’ve got that too. Next, you can do from 1-5 set repetitions, so you can do as many or as few as you have time for on any particular day. Every day has a different set of exercises and there is a library full of different sets. There is a “live” exercise option, when it’s active, anyone who joins in is working out “with” others all over the world. Pretty cool. I absolutely love this app and I love that it’s only about $40 a year. Most others seemed to be $20 and above per month. Better quality, lower price. Can’t beat it! I’m kind of addicted!!!.Version: 9.13.1

Awesome app, but last update ruined itApp works great and exercises are easily to follow. Last update brought some issues with regards to the exercise videos no longer playing. Occasionally you might the first second of the exercise then it freezes while the count down and continues.. please sort this out as it’s part of the reason why many, including myself have purchased this app..Version: 9.17.3

Maths - not the developer's strong point...?The app is great. Love the principles of a) making it easy to fit a short workout into your day b) not needing any special equipment c) having targets to motivate. So, each workout has 12 exercises @ 30 seconds each (6 minutes), plus 12 (well, 11 at least) 10 second rest periods between them (so rougly 2 minutes). So that's 6 + 2 = err...7??? Hang on! The poor maths conitnues with the subscription level @ £80 per year. Now, whilst that's a lot less than a gym membership, this app isn't worth it for that. I could devise my own 8 minute routines really, so whilst I like the app, what it offers is not, to my mind, worth that much, and the app is too basic as well. For example, some of the exercises require you to be holding a position for 30 seconds, and it's just silence until the last 3 seconds countdown. Better would be to have "10 seconds done" and "just 15 seconds left", "just 10 seconds to go" etc. A solid 3 stars for the overall aims, but pricing needs addressing and the way the exercises are delivered could do with improvement. I'd part with £3.99 for the app and a series of routines to help with cardio and weight loss etc., but not £80 per year..Version: 8.2.1

Love the quality, disappointed with the quantityThis app is great, especially for someone who struggles with discipline in regards to workouts. I love how it gives you a visual of each exercise along with countdowns for each 30 second circuit. It’s a great way to get a body weight workout accomplished in a relatively short period of time! HOWEVER, I’m highly disappointed with the quantity of workouts and exercises of the app, as well as the frequency that they are updated. I’ve been a paid Seven “Club” member for more than a year now and I don’t remember the last time I saw a new workout on the app. They are great, but after a while the workouts and exercises start to get old. Especially now with COVID-19 happening, I would expect Seven to step up and add more content to the app that enables people to continue a healthy lifestyle while staying at home during this pandemic..Version: 9.2.1

Bad subscription experienceA week has passed now, and I still don’t see the problem solved. Still couldn’t cancel my subscription, and the 7 day free trial will end soon. In addition, only annual subscription was presented to me at that time, so I guess I’ll be charged the annual fee soon? Well, the response from the team doesn’t work, so I have to report the issue to Apple. ———————————————————— The app is really cool and useful. However, the subscription experience is really bad. When I started the 7 day free trial, it didn’t give me the choice to be charged monthly or annually after 7 days, but automatically selected annually for me. When I wanted to changed it, I found that clicking Edit Subscription will give me a blank page. When I tried to contact their support in App Store, the page shows 404...So basically you block me from different ways to manage my subscription. I’m a PM myself, so I understand where this comes from. Either it’s because you don’t think this experience is vital to users, you didn’t pay enough attention to it to make it right. Or, you just want to add friction to this process. Either way, it’s a very bad experience for users. Users will lose trust in the app..Version: 8.2.9

Great app...until recentlyAfter 7 months using this app every day just the way it is promoted (7 minutes per day, 7 days a week, for 7 months), I was “rewarded” by the developers removing the free daily workouts that it offered for the past 7 months and then telling me that I could buy the full app for $59.99. They, at least, could have let me keep the free daily workouts..Version: 8.2.9
