Doesn't connect half of the time.At first it would connect to my Stealth 700 headset but beyond a few months it refuses to connect to a connected phone to customize the settings so I haven't been able to use it. Redownloaded it and verified my headset it up to date. I don't know what is going on but it seems like it should work but doesn't. Would be a 5 if I t worked like it should..Version: 3.13.4

DisappointmentHeadphones have not been working properly for quite some time. Have to power them on and off to make audio volume correct. GarbageIve owned turtle beaches several times at various points in my gaming tenure. Every time has been an extreme let down. You would think for $200 dollars, you would get your money's worth, this is not the case. Ive had my 700 gen 2 MAX for maybe 4 months, and they dont work. They connect to the transmitter no problem, but not the controller anymore. It started happening infrequently, and got more and more frequent as time has gone on, until they no longer connect to the controller at all. Its not a controller issue as Ive tested with another set of wireless headphones. After updating the firmware in the headphones I still have the same issue. Whats really frustrating is that the headphones work fine, they still have volume and function as headphones should, they just simply can't connect to anything. Will definitely never purchase another pair of TBs and I would extremely advice others against them as well..Version: 3.13.4

Was a good AppThis used to be quite a good app until the recent update. On the previous version you could switch between different apps on your phone without loosing connectivity to between phone and amp. However, now it always has to reconnect and 50% of the time it won’t so I have to turn Bluetooth off and on again. This isn’t ideal when mid game. The new look layout is better that the old version, but please fix this reconnect issue :(.Version: 3.0.2

Sound volume is a consistent issueGreat headphones, terrible support and terrible interface for audio hub. The lab top version allows nothing but updates and the mobile version doesn’t connect to several phones even when already paired. Had numerous issues with fixing a quiet sound quality after the headphones turned themselves off and wouldn’t restart. After finally getting them back on via the update they’re now too quiet to hear even at max volume gameplay with super human hearing on. Major Bugs/Needs ImprovementHeadset has many issues. First of all. Sometimes it takes turning the headset on and off multiple times for it to actually adjust the volume. There are times where the volume is barely audible with the wheel scroll turned all the way up. When you connect to a secondary Bluetooth device after the headset is on and working, the sound will turn off but the headset will stay on and neither the Xbox or the phone is audible. Other times when connecting with the wheel scroll turned all the way down, you will get a small (but MAX volume) spurt of sound which can be extremely loud. Turtle beach released these prematurely without any real world testing it seems. I had a set of stealth 600s that were half the price but at least they worked when I wanted them to..Version: 3.11

Ear force tango 720x or whateverThese headphones are the most annoying things to use. I have the Xbox accessories adapter for the pc- it’s a usb dongle to connect devices that are synced with Xbox products. Anyway, the headset drops packets of data constantly. It’s created more anxiety and stress then the price these are worth. I’m moving on after these and never looking back. Honest ReviewWhen these headphones work they are freaking amazing. However 30% of the time they cut out and you lose audio. You have to turn them off and back on again then they will work for 10 or so minutes then you lose audio again! The weird part is they are fully charged. Very average not eliteHaving just received my Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 with super amp I am pleased with the headphones so far, not tried them on a game yet. I have been using the turtle beach 800x for years, I’ve never been able to update the firmware on them either. I’ve tried using this app for them and not had any luck before connecting. Now trying to connect to Elite Pro 2 worked fine, just a bit annoyed about the pop up to update meaning it can not be done through the app. I don’t have an up to date laptop or Mac so I’m pretty stuck here. One thing I’ve noticed that won’t work is the default color is set to green on the app but the Amp is always red, I’ve not been able to change the color at all. All be minor I would have though at the price tag this would work and more money would have been invested into this app as the head set itself lacks physical buttons along with amp you do rely on the app. Please Turtle beach sort this out, I may need to return and look at new options..Version: 2.6.3

Rubbish!Took forever to pair with my iPad. What a stupid APP that serves no purpose when pairing. Bluetooth + connect = simple. Turtle have taken those 2 steps and got it wrong. Had to change iPad - took 30 minutes of pure frustration and repeating the same steps over and over before it “suddenly” connected. Then had to repair to my first iPad. Never managed it. Couldn’t / wouldn’t disconnect from 2nd iPad. Decided the health risk was not worth it, so threw them away and deleted the APP. Felt much better. App next to uselessThe Turtle Beach 800x is a first rate headset, using the special USB cables provided (not sure what is so special with them), I can connect to the Windows Audio Hub. No updates there, I can pair my iPhone 8 Plus to the Bluetooth and can hear it in the headset. But I cannot for the love of God get the iOS app to do anymore than “searching for devices”. Considering the price tag, I am shocked that there isn’t a class action lawsuit for false advertising against Turtle Beach judging by the vast majority of reviews here virtually no one is able to get the app to work..Version: 2.6.3

Nonexistent EQI purchased the Elite Pro 2 headphones to replace my old Turtle Beach PX5. The sound quality is fantastic for playing music but I don’t feel like I’m getting very good results in games like Destiny 2 for example. I’ve changed Bass, Treble and Mids in the EQ settings but the alterations aren’t changing at all. Even if I shift the slider from one extreme to the other. I have saved the EQ settings before you ask. I just can’t bring out more detail in the sound. Guns firing sound muffled and interactions with NPC are dull and boring with no detail in their voices. Still having issues after firmware updateThe hardware is great. The quality is there and they sound amazing (when they work). Although the software still has some bugs. This is the third pair of headphones I have had replaced because of the issues they have. I was told the firmware update would resolve them. The firmware has been updated even though there was no prompt stating so. After the loading and updating screens finished, the transmitter and the headphones continued flashing green simultaneously. I waited for several minutes for this to stop, but they just kept on flashing. Then I tried plugging the headphones and transmitter into the Xbox to see if they worked any better. Unfortunately not. These are the issues I am still having: 1) occasionally upon start up the headphones power down automatically. 2) when turning on headphones and connecting them to the Xbox, many times the Xbox sound volume is nonexistent or very low. I need to turn the headphones on and off sometimes two or three times before the sound volume is correct. 3) when using the headphones with my iPhone via Bluetooth. When I finish dictating a text The media player/music player starts up automatically. So as soon as I finish dictating a text, music starts. I thought the firmware update was supposed to resolve these or some of these issues, but still having problems. And this is my third pair..Version: 3.12.1

I don’t understand.When I use the superhuman hearing feature, I don’t exactly notice much difference with this headset. I am very impressed with how comfortable it is and the sound quality is great, but it makes something more noise canceling would be much better. Will not connectI’ve had my PlayStation 700 Gen 2 headset for a couple of years and it was great. A couple weeks ago, the headset was unresponsive. I had to go through many steps to try to revive it. After many, many tries it finally powered on. Then I tried connecting to Audio Hub. It would not even after dozens of tries. Contacted Turtle Beach and they are painfully slow in responding. After 4 emails, of back and forth trying out their methods without working, the emails stopped. This app either needs updating or their firmware does. MirageI finally decided to buck up for some wireless headphones and I choose TB 700 Gen 2 because of the design and features. The hideaway mic was perfect and they looked cool too. I bought them in November and all was well until 2 months later. They don’t work. I get a red solid light then later a solid green light on the USB. No matter the mode XBox or USB, same results. The headphones seem to be ready for BT but I don’t know which one is the problem. Customer Support is soooo very slow via email. Every third day, an agent asks me nearly the same question making me be every more detailed then the last time and it’s been going on for about a week and a half now! Either the dongle is bad or the headphones are. So, I can’t recommend this to anyone because a headphone used about 7 times in 2 months should be be having issues like this..Version: 3.12.3

Functionality issuesFor reference i have the stealth 700 gen 2 for xbox… Headset functionality is horrible. When i first received my headset (which was around $200) it was a complete dud and didn't even turn on, i waited another 2 weeks for them to send out a new one and it worked, for a little bit. When the headset does work i am only getting system sound from the console, party and chat functions are completely null, you'd think they’d have a fix in their app, firmware is up to date. In order to update firmware you go into the app and touch "update firmware" which then tells you that the device cant be updated through the app and to use a computer instead. Having everything up to date you'd think you’d be able to customize different audio selections or applications in their "convenient app" but it’s the opposite, you can basically change the equalizer setting and thats it. There’s no mixing with game/party audio, no real volume control, and don’t even get me started on their "superhuman hearing", i always give them the benefit of the doubt because xbox isnt without its own issues but these seem to be fixes within reach for TB. Needs lots of improvementsThe app needs to be better organized, very confusing to many sub options. Syncing your music while playing is inconsistent. Bluetooth is spotty. Connection period is spotty. The Xbox version I have for my Xbox series x works better on my PS5 ! This app overall is very frustrating!.Version: 3.12.2

BUGIt consistently resets my audio. When I play chill games that don’t really need audio I play with voice chat louder than game volume. When I play games that need audio I play with game volume louder. For some reason it is constantly resetting itself to whatever it’s at when I first turn on my device. I’ll be mid game and the game volume will just drop without anyone touching anything. It’s been issue ever since this recent update. Master volume on the amp itself stays but in the app drops..Version: 3.12.1

700 stealth gen 2 is a money grabBought these on sale and didn’t realize they were trying to off load a product that seized to function after two months. Great headset if it works. They tried to get cute with it and made some beta software on it so it can connect through your phone. They weren’t ready and your wallet will notice that. I used to have the 600’s and it was a more reliable product. Always get a warranty when you get a turtle beach..Version: 3.13.4

Won't connect to my Stealth 700 gen2This app has become useless because for some reason my headset won't connect to the app. It just stopped working out of the blue even though I take great care of my headset and updated it just before it stopped. It still connects to Bluetooth for whatever reason. I really want to be able to use the mic gate and EQ settings please fix these issues..Version: 3.12.2

Still doesn’t work after months of usage.As the title suggests this App still refuses to connect even though in my Bluetooth settings it says that it is “Connected” I am using an iPhone 11 Pro with iOS 15 installed. Will you ever fix this Turtle Beach?.Version: 3.6

App stopped workingSuddenly the app on my phone to control the settings stopped working. I called customer service and told me they were not under warranty and the were not able to help me with the issue. I mean, spending $150+ on a headset that stopped working i don't think its worth it. Maybe i got the bad ones but not even a discount to buy another headset..Version: 3.12.2

Steel 700 gen 2It just doesn’t want to connect device thru the app ( It does connect tru bluetooth tho), it can’t find it. Tried trouble shooting like forgetting device to uninstalling to re install app and even restarting my phone but the headset work fine with my ps4 no trouble is just the app im having these issues with, i would like to use the app im really curious, it seem pretty cool to have a mini EQ on my phone for the headset..Version: 3.12.1

Bait and SwitchThese headphones are great except for the one reason I bought them: to use for wireless Xbox voice chat. The mic always works fine. The headphones play game audio perfectly. But Discord voice chat is not working any more. They played discord voice chat for a few months, then one day they suddenly stopped. There is no help for this, no support, no nothing, just headphones that don’t do what I bought them for any more, and a silent internet black hole with no solution. I’m sad..Version: 3.14.8

HelpCan you put a option for mute in the audio hub so I don’t have to keep taking my hand of the controller would be my only fault so far with this headset.Version: 3.2

GoodJust has issues when trying to connect sometimes and keeps resetting my some of my settings when I leave the app but overall it’s good.Version: 3.6

Decent but missing a important featureThe app serves its purpose well the mixer is nice for adding bass and being able to adjust the tone volume is good as well but I wish there was a feature to manually change the chat volume from the app because my chat wheel is broken on the stealth gen 2 and it’s a common issue with that one.Version: 3.12

Poor update !!!This was a good app till last update!!! Now I have no way of knowing how much charge there is in my stealth 7000 for the PS4 !! If anyone can shed any light on how I can see what charge is on my headphones it would be greatly appreciated. Everything else works fine, however, I can only give the app 1 star as it’s absolutely useless if I don’t know the charged status of the headphone..Version: 3.0.2

FIX THE CHAT VOLUMEThe chat mixer is locked and every time I try to adjust each wheel the volume resets and the game volume just takes over entirely and stays there even when I try to readjust the wheel. This has been happening suspiciously since the warranty expired which really shows the hedge fund mentality of this company. I’ve reached out to Turtle Beach only to not get it solved. I’m shifting to another company for headphones because this just ruins every experience for me..Version: 3.14.8

How I got this app to work!When I first got my Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 headphones I got this app on both my iPad and my iPhone neither would recognise my headphones. How I fixed it: I started playing Overwatch and Mid-Game I opened the app on my iPhone and it recognised my headset. Try this it might work for you too..Version: 3.1

It doesn’t even workSo, I know it can’t be my phone because I can listen to stuff on my phone and it has the headphone sign at the top, the app just won’t bloody connect. I’ve tried literally everything and it worked once but the next day I tried the same way and it didn’t work. And I have to have to turn down the stupidly loud voice feedback that at the moment a can barely hear anything over due it being so loud even at the default setting.Version: 2.5.9

Only connected onceConnected the first time, completed a quick set up, then tested it. Wanted to change a few things but won't connect to the app. Says could not find your device even though I'm listening to music with them lol app needs some work big time!.Version: 3.0.2

Volume Settings Won’t SaveEvery time I turn on my headset the volume settings revert back to their default. Which would be fine except for the fact that the beep volume - which beeps every time you start the headset or mute your mic - is RIDICULOUSLY LOUD. I tried submitting this as a bug through the app, but of course the app kept crashing and wouldn’t submit my report 😑. It’s been this way for months without being resolved. This will be the last time I buy another headset from Turtle Beach..Version: 3.14.8

BaaaaadI’m not sure if the app is buggy or the headset but there’s no way to permanently turn off mic monitoring. I can connect to Bluetooth through the app but can’t play my phone sound through the headset. It’s over all just extremely buggy and glitchy. Sometimes working, mostly NOT working. Turtle beach headsets were great! But they need to reevaluate either their IT department or the people who developed the hardware because this is a fail. 👎🏻.Version: 3.14.8
