✓ Needs UI work, turn off commentsThe app has the basic structure. You can downvote topics or block news sources. The app needs a dark mode for sure. It feels clunky and like something from 2010. There is community commenting but do yourself a favor and hide comments. It’s nothing but mysogynist and racist comments. Tons of immature flame wars against what console is better, and you can rate articles by “awesome “can’t wait” “crap” etc. However when you let a toxic community rate articles everything basically gets rated the opposite it should be. Clearly the toxic part of the community found a safe place in this app. Honestly the community part should just go. Use that effort to make other parts of the app better..Version: 3.9.9
✓ Bring back old designThe new scroll design is trash and confusing. It’s to hard to navigate through my stuff without seeing stuff I didn’t wanna look at in the moment. Plus the time table on when articles are available is horrible I wanna read what I missed yesterday not just 1 hour ago.Version: 3.9.7
✓ 3 stars as past performance was goodWhen I first installed the app I was able to get to any tile and see what I wanted to see with was. Since the update, seconds after opening the app it lags then freezes. On many occasions it crashes and starts back up and then freezes. This is both on the main page and notifications for stories I would like to read and then within the stories. This all since the last update. I was a daily user but now it is not worth the hassle until it is fixed..Version: 3.9.2

✓ Absurd addsThe adds have become so intrusive the app is almost un usable. Adds will pop up every 20 seconds even in the middle of articles, and many of them will not go away for over 30 seconds. This app used to be great. But now 5 minutes of browsing will allow you 1 minute of reading chopped up by piles of different adds, that will not allow you to exit them for ridiculous amounts of time. I’ve had the app for years and I’m giving you a week or 2 tops to fix this. Because it is borderline scamming. It is almost impossible to use the free version of the app at this point..Version: 4.0.4

Subscription model added 👎Update - why is this happening again—I paid for no ads previously and now a ‘no-ad subscription model’ was implemented… I check this app multiple times a day and participate in discussions and am very disappointed in this change without my knowledge. ✓ Great start but needs updatesPlease remove headlines from blocked sources from the IOS widget! They are appearing and when I click on one it doesn’t load the article so it’s useless! Also please let us go back a page by swiping right from the edge of the screen like in other apps (your app Push allows it). Can you let us read whole articles from within the app like Appy Gamer used to do? It’s inconvenient to open a article in the app and then have it finish mid sentence..you then have to go to the website to finish reading the article which takes ages to load and uses lots of data. Can you allow an option to to disable images from loading in the app like Appy Gamer used to allow? Very useful to save data and load news fast. Please continue developing this app as it’s a great start and keep us updated!.Version: 3.9.7
✓ Hateful and insensitive comments need moderatingThe Awesome, LOL, Crap, etc system is fun as are comments. But when a post celebrating LGBTQ inclusivity in gaming gets 17 “craps” (vs 2 “awesomes”) as well as three insensitive or hateful comments, it becomes a problem. This pattern repeats with racial inclusivity posts as well. The pattern is such a sad reflection of the gaming community. The lack of moderation is part of the problem..Version: 3.9.9

✓ Occasionally doesn't load storiesUsed to work fine other than some lag/freezing when scrolling, but lately there are times it shows no stories. Closing the app or changing the feed sorting order doesn't fix it either.. just have to give up and try again later..Version: 3.8.4
✓ OkRecently having some hiccups. One time it’s working other time doesn’t. Option to login with email disappeared ,and with that over a year of collecting badges and my favourite topics. Hopefully it will be fixed and get back to how it was..Version: 3.9.7
✓ Near unusable right nowLoading up the app immediately greets you with an advert which for one reason or another the exit button this advert fails to work, meaning I need to restart the app and be greeted with another advert (rinse and repeat) until I get lucky.Version: 3.9.7
✓ EhUpdate: I’m surprised there are so many glowing reviews for this app. It never works the way it’s supposed to. Completely unrelated articles will be grouped together as one but there’s no way of knowing that unless you view the entire group manually. Even when there’s only one article, ungrouped, I frequently see comments that have nothing to do with the article. What are they seeing that I’m not? Sometimes I’ll load the app and only about ten articles will show up even though I’m viewing “All News”. Even rebooting the app doesn’t fix it. Recently they started including Reddit posts in the article list and it’s very clear there’s nothing of value in them. Other site, when trying to load them through the app, won’t load or crash. There’s no point to this app unless you feel like IGN just isn’t reporting on enough. Now whenever it's open, at the bottom this black box says "Welcome back" and won't go away, so I can't touch any of the buttons under it. Even though I get this welcome message, it doesn't seem to be signing me on because whenever I try to comment, I get an error message. There doesn't seem to be a way to sign in or out anywhere in the app. So if you don't want any personalization or social interaction, sure this app is great. I just want it to work like it did before I updated..Version: 3.9.2
✓ It's a pit of dirty practices.Link bate, opinions before critique, inflammatory opinions can be called out most times in the title but there is no shame among this subset of news, constantly trying to put up movie news, adds and blogs when clearly I'm not here for that. when my phone tells me of a low battery percentage the entire app resets. What dams this app is it pulls from all the other sites as frequent as possible so you will see the same articles about the most unimportant topics, "kojima leaving?!?!?" Bloodborn (insert glitch, opinion or walkthrough on how to finish the easiest tasks) replete for each topic at least 3 times. When a game like destiny came out the app lost all its variety. The loot cave was every 2nd topic. This app has no spine or curators, It merely telephones headlines from popular sites gaming or not. Recently every 6th topic is just an add now so there is little here of value..Version: 3.0
✓ Right wing appI have had this app for the last five years. Lately the comment section has turned political and conservative leaning. The people who run this app protect those that trash liberals. Had to delete it because they refuse to regulate it based on their own rules. If you hate liberals and want to join in on the hate, this app is for you. Very disappointed in the Conservative NewsFusion company when the comments should be about games and not anti vaxx and right wing garbage.Version: 3.9.9
✓ Fundamentally flawedAny time I start it up works fine for about 3 seconds and then freezes up. I also miss the option to have the app start up with “my topics” being the default page, because that’s all I care about; a bit of a personal gripe but I can see this upsetting other people. Ive also noticed some comments floating around to articles they aren’t originally for. I love this app but I just want to see it become better. Also getting notifications for articles I have no interest in is pretty annoying too..Version: 3.9.2
