✓ Awesome!This game is really well crafted. Lovely visuals, sound and gameplay. It’s play to win rather than pay to win which is really refreshing. ✓ This game is SO much fun!It reminds me of 1942 but it so much better. The ability for it to track your progress, build up your planes strength and the introduction of goals on ever difficult levels gives this game huge replay value. The ability to buy upgrades so you can kick more but is actually cool as far as in app purchases go because they are so inexpensive. I've paid a lot more for less. It's better played on a wide screen so the iPhone is tougher than playing on an iPad or the Apple TV but it gets me by until I can get home and play in my TV..Version: 1.40

Couple of complaints the tournament every weekend shouldn’t be restricted to five friends if it’s a global tournament your playing against the world why the five friends? Second your main gun tops out at 3, but your wing cannon’s go to 5 why? Third your cards shouldn’t be throwing out duplicates of the same card over and over just don’t have it appear or have it be a limited ship upgrade card like sky force reloaded. Other than that it’s ok. I guess the green ship you started with is one of those card’s that rarely appears getting tired of this paper red ship..Version: 1.41

✓ Best shooter - Nothing close.Love this thing. It is obviously a follow up to “Apocalypse Meow” (Which is no longer available?). Beautiful 3D scrolling background, smooth responsive control. Perfectly paced levelling up in lots of different attributes. One ad about every 3 hours if you want a reward, otherwise ad-free. This is comfortably the best shoot ‘em up on the iPod by at least a mile. Apocalypse Meow is also awesome and virtually identical only set in space, but it has vanished?.Version: 1.41

Stopped playing because I didn't have an apple device for a few months. Got a new apple device downloaded the game and hit restore, not only did my plane not have any of the upgrades but none of my purchases were there. I wrote tech support and still haven't gotten anything. When I first started playing I hadn't stopped playing it since I down loaded it. You get something unmatched in its genre for your smart phone devices. The graphics are a delight to watch and some times distracting to its credit. ✓ Need to fix Game Center linkI downloaded the game for both iPhone and iPad, but there are some improvements that could be made. Firstly, it would be cool if the game supported playing in landscape mode on an iPad. It’s just not practical on anything bigger than an iPad Mini game. Even just having the game display in the centre of the screen would be a great improvement. Secondly, the game would greatly benefit from having controller support—having screen visibility blocked by your own thumb or fingers is a real issue when you reach higher level of difficulty. Most importantly, when the game loads up, progress is not shared between devices, the connection to Game Center doesn’t seem to make any difference. Fix these issues and it’s an easy five stars. It’s very simple yet very challenging and it allows for going back to lower levels to fully accomplish the missions. Not a lot of bells and whistles when it comes down to purchasing items which I appreciated very much. One time purchase for most items including disabling ads permanently for a very low price ($2) compared to other games with very expensive prices. ✓ AwesomeThis is one of the best games reminds me of when I was a young boy playing the arcade game 1942 very similar very addictive but I think you should be able to upgrade your main cannon to a different type of fire power and you should be able to shoot two missiles at once instead of just one at a time and you need a few more levels maybe even change your plane and I don't think we should have to wait to get upgrades when they have already been purchased or have to wait to play another game when you bomb out if you have more lives left other than that it's awesome. Got back into it a couple of weeks ago and wow it’s really a quality game through and through. From the graphics to the user interface is a much more intuitive experience than playing say a Raiden II port. It takes a while to level up but you really feel like it’s worth the effort to do it. The replay value is high especially with finding the hidden cards and hidden levels. Also the sound and graphics are some of the best I’ve seen on the iPhone. 10/10.Version: 1.41

You can also upgrade your ship which looks very nice and level up your cannons and add new features. The game play is very smooth and I honestly 100% love this game and see no flaws at all. Controls are great and has different settings to your liking. The adds can be removed and quite honestly the adds don't even bother me. They are not even close to annoying like some other app games that cram adds down your throat. It's a pleasant game play experience, minimum adds, in game purchases that you honestly don't even need. ✓ What a find!Yes, I realise there is a newer version of this game, but I just love this version. The gametos keeps me coming back for more, and I really like that I can play offline. The difficulty is very challenging, but not impossible. Yes, it takes time to collect stars for the upgrades you need for higher levels, but that just gives you time to sharpen your skills. I recently managed to scrape through Level 5, so there's plenty more to do, and plenty still to go back to those lower levels for. I can see I'll be playing this for a long time.....Version: 1.41

✓ Challenging funSky force is a fun but challenging top down shooter that is tough but rewarding to play, the game has fair simplistic gameplay but works really well with touch controls and feels very responsive. I noticed that it is really tough to see your health which is fairly frustrating, the health is next to the plane itself which means your thumb will be covering it and I have died a few times seemingly randomly because I couldn’t see that my health was low. Great, colourful graphics, interesting music backdrop which makes the experience more exhilarating. This game definitely tests your memory and reflexes as you progress through the higher difficulty settings. There are not a great amount of levels, but they are all challenging enough to make the upgrades necessary to progress. In turn, this means grinding and replaying cleared levels. Which is not half bad considering that this will make your skill level improve. Enough to keep you entertained for a long while. Well worth the download and exemplary as a free game. The only thing I see wrong is that before each level you have the opportunity to purchase bombs, laser and shield which is good but if you don't use them in that level you lose them. I believe whatever you don't use should be carried over to all levels until they have been used up where at that point in time you would purchase more but i don't believe people earn stars to lose them or even waste them.
