✓ Good app - has potential to be greatPaid for the pro version. Still nags for a review though - gets to be very annoying. I have a total of 5 sources of contacts (wish iOS would give you option of which source you want to add new contacts like it does with calendar entries) and I’ve already asked the developer to give a “friendly” name to the Accounts within this app - such as “Gmail”, “Yahoo”, “iCloud” or otherwise - would make the move between accounts easier and faster and make the app for intuitive in the process. Otherwise, once you get used to the flow and nuances of the app, it does what you want it to do. Luckily, it even comes with a built-in backup/restore which was handy when I accidentally deleted 80 contacts when I thought it was a single contact! Hoping the developer keeps working on this app, it is good and could be great!.Version: 2.2

✓ Recently swapped my Samsung for an iPhoneAs mentioned above, I swapped from my trusted Samsung over to an IPhone 13Pro, only to find out I had hundreds of duplicate numbers, as I had 7 different email accounts. Anyway, after trying to sort out how to remove duplicates, I soon found out it was vertically impossible to sort out on an iPhone. Thanks to this app, I just thought I’d give it a go and within 10 minutes, I’d sorted all the duplicates out. It cost $1.99 I think and I can honest say it was a bargain, to me anyway. I’m not affiliated in any way, and I never give reviews, but this was worth the effort to leave a good review. I don’t know about apps, but this has worked well for me. ✓ Wow!This review is 100% genuine! I had a problem with my iPhone whereby my contacts duplicated so I had about 3-10 entries of each contact. The thought of manually deleting each contact gave me nightmares and I knew it would take hours and hours to sort......until I found this gem of an app. Within a minute my duplicates had been deleted and my address book looked normal again. Looking for a contact can be time consuming in the forest of duplicate entries, different name variants (across languages) and unwanted contacts. Having built up to over 2000, manual management was no longer a consideration. I searched on the internet for a solution. Directed to the apps store I try in suggested order 1by1. The first I tried would only let me delete 10 contacts before asking me to pay (having wasted time selecting 200+). This app however let me use it for basic administration until I tried a group task and then I was suggested to upgrade to pro for a couple of dollars. No problem. I was now already assured that the app was worthwhile. Only 1 small issue prevented me giving 5star rating- when merging contacts if I didn't like the default merged contact entry (or it was blank) I couldn't find a simple method to edit and then save this as the new contact entry...otherwise good!.Version: 1.9

I thought I could do maintenance in apple I cloud. I am not sure but there is this read only hump I could get over. Also, I think there was an error with Microsoft contacts. However, there seems to be a a glitches that is really impeding my progress. This takes a solid 5 star app down to 4, and should probably be a 3. Here is the problem. When you open Contact Cleanup it gives you your cleanup stats. (# of contacts duplicated, phone numbers, emails etc.)… next you go review the duplicates, and it gives you the option to merge them. Before I merge a contact I want to review the 2 dups as well as the merge result. When you click to review any of them there is no way to get off of the review screen other than to completely close the app and restart it.
