Not my favoriteThis app works well for me. However the latest update is whack! My favorites kept switching it’s order. I don’t know why and it isn’t changing it’s order due to my current location, if so that would of been better. Please either make the favorites change it’s order only if it’s base on my current location, otherwise, please it the the order I placed it..Version: 2.0.4

Fantastic... sometimesThey need to do a better job during the busy times and when buses run back to back of taking the ones that are passing you by off the list. Also, there have been several times when the app has refreshed itself to “1 min” for buses that show up 10-15 minutes later, which then might also just drive by. On the weekends, buses tend to show up 1-2 minutes early and leave early as well, so be mindful of that. Otherwise, still the best app for Boston MBTA buses that I’ve found... open to trying new ones!.Version: 2.0.3

Confusing and limited !This app is confusing on which train is going where and what stop the times refer to. Also, it would be nice to see the stops listed and the times next to them so you can see exactly where you are and when you should arrive at the next stop. I’m thinking of dropping this app. 👎.Version: 3.0.2

What’ happenedI have used this app for the better part of 2 years and have always found it right on. Recently I noticed that the next train is not listed but the one after it is. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling. No luck. Has something changed ? So my rating before would have been a 5, now it is a 2.Version: 2.0.2

Great...when it’s on top of thingsDuring busy times or when there’s delays it’s not too great with predictions. But for the most part this has been a fantastic replacement for NextBus. It will absolutely drain your battery tho if you keep it open. At least it does for me 🤷‍♀️.Version: 2.0.4

Straight up doesn’t work most of the timeEvery time my morning commute gets screwed up because of this app, I think about writing one of these reviews and deleting this piece of garbage app. Today was the last straw. I’m currently typing this after waiting 30 minutes in the cold for a bus that was supposed to be 3 minutes away and is STILL displayed as 3 minutes away. This happens at least twice a week, every week. Going to uninstall this piece of garbage and try a different T tracker..Version: 2.0.4

Very unreliableI’ve found I can no longer trust this app. I’ve had situations where it lists the bus as 2 minutes away, only to see the bus drive by as I near the stop. I’ve also had situations where it lists the bus as a few minutes away and I end up waiting 20 minutes for it. I think on average I would end up waiting the same amount of time if I walked to the stop without looking at the app and hoping to get lucky..Version: 2.0.3

ProximiTIt is unclear, and there appears to be no way to inquire, whether the listed bus arrival times are real time predictions or merely state what the bus schedule says. Also when a service alert says there is for instance a 20 minute delay, does the listed arrival time reflect that delay, or must we Add that 20 minutes to the listed time. Thank you..Version: 2.1.0

Largely unhelpful for busesWhen buses are running frequently and the weather is good and the traffic isn’t bad, this app works fine enough for main bus routes, though I imagine that’s more a function of the probability of it being accurate give a higher density of buses. However, if it isn’t rush hour, this app is near useless for buses. I have spent 40 minutes at a bus stop that was perpetually 2-3 minutes away according to proximiT’s predictions. Also, unlike the Nextbus app, which is unfortunately no longer supported for Boston transportation, ProximiT does not show you where the buses are on the map, so it’s impossible to make your own best guess. In short, the bus arrival time estimates are wildly unreliable and the app is only marginally useful..Version: 2.2.0

Generally correctApp is usually right, but there are a few features that would make it even more helpful. 1) show when the bus/train you’re on is expected to arrive at any particular stop. 2) add a feature which allows passengers to report when a bus fails to show up on time, particularly when the bus doesn’t leave he first stop of the route on time 3) add a trip planning feature.Version: 3.0.6

Not tracking buses properlyNo in-app help or contact information is why I am giving it only 1-star. Buses that have moved to other berths are no longer being tracked. For example, the 101 from Sullivan to Malden which permanently moved from the upper busway to the lower busway at Sullivan Square or the 96 from Harvard to Medford Square which has temporarily moved from the upper busway to the lower busway a Harvard Square. Bus 80 was partially rerouted this spring until March or April 2020. None of the new temporary stops appear..Version: 2.2.1

So confusing and inefficient! This app is not good! It is laid out terribly making it really confusing and inefficient to use. It doesn’t allow you to just type in where you want to go and give you train directions- it kept taking me off the app and giving me walking directions there. I don’t understand the point of this app. It doesn’t calculate your route for you which is super annoying. If it does and I just don’t know how to do it then that says something in itself because the app should not be this complicated..Version: 2.2.1

Good app, but needs improvementI just downloaded this app a week ago. It is good. However, I would prefer it didn’t say Boarding when it clearly is not. That needs to be fixed. I also prefer bus numbers to be grouped instead of scrolling alll the way down that long list. And why not allow you to stay in a bus number to add multiple stops?.Version: 3.0.2

It works... mostly.Good at giving you the schedule at a glance. But at least where I am, it’s too aggressive with real time bus arrival times. Been burned multiple times when the app says there’s 2-3 minutes until the bus arrives and I watch it roll by from a couple blocks away as I’m walking towards the stop..Version: 2.0.1

Good Idea, Poor PerformanceI have used this app for about two months now. It works great when there is no traffic, however this is Boston and there is almost always traffic. It only updates every 5 minutes or so, and the majority of the time I find myself waiting an additional 10 minutes. The only reason I didnt give it one star is because its still (to my knowledge) the best option out there.Version: 2.0.3

Usually decent, but terrible for late at nightGenerally fairly accurate during the day within a few minutes. However on multiple nights the app kept telling me my bus was 5 minutes away (it would keep refreshing to be anywhere from 1-6 minutes) and the bus never came. I wasted at least half an hour and $20 on an Uber late at night. Absolutely unacceptable..Version: 3.0.4
