Newton Mail - Email App for Positive User Reviews

I’m backI was a very early adopter of this app when it was Cloud Magic. I left shortly after the the $50 fee was introduced. It wasn’t because I thought the app wasn’t worth it. It was due to the horrible customer service of the original owner/staff. I couldn’t justify the fee because of it. The bottom line is that this is the best email map on the market. I’ve tried them all. Clean, reliable, true cross platform. I came back and placed a $50 gamble on the new owners. Fingers crossed. And if the owners a reading these reviews, please keep up the good work of the last update. Cheers..Version: 10.0.53

Best E-Mail Client & SupportI understand many negative reviews are being left by those who think the price is too high for the subscription. I used to be in the same mindset and tried just about every mail app worth trying that was available on the App Store before begrudgingly trying Newton and liking it enough to subscribe. After a little over a year and using the app extensively on my iPhone as well as my Mac I can honestly say this is the best Mail app you can find. Feature rich, simple design, it just works and it works amazingly well. Just research how much it costs for add ons to GMail, for example, for the read receipts or send later functionality. It costs more than the cost of the Newton subscription - and those are just two features. One last thing - Support. I understand you may not always need support, but when you do - I know when I do - it’s sometimes a pain to wait for an answer you need or would like to have right away. Newton’s support is unmatched! I can send an E-Mail at 11PM and get an answer LITERALLY within a 10 minute time frame. This isn’t just a one instance, I’ve emailed on numerous occasions with different questions and have always gotten answers within minutes - no matter the time or day. If your hesitant - Just give it a try. This app is amazing and definitely worth the money. Especially if your an E-Mail power user. Keep up the great work Newton Team - Thank You!!!.Version: 9.8.421

Intelligent UX, brillant postpone features, the best mail app out thereRegularly improved. I just don't find it any equivalent. The desktop still needs some love though..Version: 9.8.363

Great app so far!!!I have used CloudMagic in the past and recently signed up for Newton. The main thing I like about is that I can use this across all my devices (iPhone, iPad and windows PC). So far the app is working flawless and deliver gmail immediately to my phone; something that Apple native mail app fails to do. I can also customize my signature with HTML. The reason I’m not giving 5 starts is that this is too expensive. I mean $50/year is too much for a email app. I’m going to use this for one year and depending on the performance, I might purchase subscription for another year or will discontinue. Also, all the connected apps that comes with it are useless. I don’t use any of them. So that feature is useless to me..Version: 9.8.333

Getting better under new leadershipIf you are new to Newton, be prepared for a unique take on email with features and ideas that I've not seen anywhere else. Simple, clean, robust, and willing to look outside the box. Like many of you who have had Newton, I've been on the rollercoaster of loving this software while being frustrated by the rocky path it took, closing down twice. Not only am I very pleased with the new leadership behing Newton, I'm thrilled with the next features they just dropped, particularly the email templates, but also creating sharing links and ways to track opens and clicks. These guys have been busy!.Version: 10.0.54

Your customers are not a game 😡I have been an advocate for newton mail as it was ahead of its time providing amazing features, then couple years ago, the company discontinued the service... Then last year they announced that serviced so i hopped back in and bought another subscription to be surprised again that they are shutting down... While newton are working on getting acquired and to launch the service again, i will never go back!.Version: 10.0.45

Nice conceptBut a bit slow when opening cards and attachments.Version: 1.0.24

Subscription expires, can’t renewTerrific program but when my subscription expired last week, I tried to renew it. Keep getting error codes and won’t renew. No response from this tech and nothing wrong with my Apple account..Version: 10.0.45

I’ve just bought this - waves of reliefI’ve been using this app for a week or so. iOS Mail app has totally failed with my Microsoft 365 exchange account. And the outlook app was dire for searching and attachments. Drove me nuts. I’ve tried a few other mail apps. But this one seems to work well for me. Search is great. Connects well to Dropbox. Has read receipts and things like that and Send Later (great to hide my late night working). I didn’t realise how stressed I was by having to use inadequate email apps on my iPhone and iPad which couldn’t do what a pc version of outlook can do. Anyway I paid for the subscription before the trial period was up. I recommend giving this a whirl for the 12 day trial period and see if it works for you..Version: 10.0.47

Still the best...I really hope this makes a comeback. I’ve tried four other email apps in the meantime and settled eventually on Apple Mail despite it being buggy and lacking features. I’ll jump back on Newton in a heartbeat if it makes a full return. Please implement dark mode too!.Version: 10.0.46

Best app for gmail, but...It could do with more features. It is lacking a notifications timer, and it should show new messages in threads at the top, not the bottom, for example. Also, it lacks the ability to change the 'from' address which you can do in the native mail app. All around it's the best solution to the Gmail push problem yet..Version: 5.2.12

Great appI've tried several mail apps recently, as Apple Mail seems to have bugs since IOS8 came along. CloudMail is my favourite and the one I'm now using on my iPad. I especially like the fact that, when I've had queries, people have been prompt to respond (unlike Molto!). Still some things to be done - like a "Delete All" function but I'm sure that will happen..Version: 5.2.12

Best Apple mail app, fast and cleanThis app by far outshines the other mail apps, however I think a really good feature to add in the future updates is the option to set the emails to either push or request every few (5, 10, 15) minutes..Version: 7.12.61

Minimalista y funcionaI have left Google Suite for this fantastic email. I have tried many mail managers, some with many more functions than Newton. But its simplicity of usability makes it perfect for personal and professional use, and I've stuck with Newton. Yes, it lacks some functions but with time I think they will improve it as a new stage begins for these guys.

The best mail app for iOSThis app just keeps getting better, the developer seems to really want to make an app that helps to deal with a deluge of email efficiently. The latest feature is RECAP, which alerts you to when you haven’t replied or that you need to follow up as you haven’t had a reply from someone else. Yes, this is a paid app, but well worth the money. I can’t imagine finding a better email app..Version: 9.8.421

Love the push notification for gmailGmail fetch mode delay receiving emails. CloudMagic nailed the issue. I love using it.Version: 7.1.27

Polished Mail AppIt’s a good app with some clever bells and whistles. It has a clean user-interface which hides a degree of complexity. It only loses a star because of the relatively expensive subscription costs; but if you can get it at a deep discount then you’re onto a winner..Version: 9.8.333

One of the best email clients, if not the best! One of the best, if not the best, emIl clients that I've found. Well worth giving it a try!.Version: 5.2.12

Awesome appSince iOS 10 receiving emails has just been buggy with Apple's mail app, however this email client works perfectly for me and the bonus features are worth the subscription. Keep up the good work!!.Version: 9.1.25

Great app, can’t wait for updatesNew team are clearly super committed, looking forward to seeing better reliability and new features as they develop. Well worth getting in there now..Version: 10.0.47

Some great features but far from complete1. Doesn’t support file download like other apps. Not even in windows 2. If I’d like to silence one of the accounts I added for notifications, doesn’t allow that. Update 3 Feb 2018: 1. The file download still needs a lot of improvements specially on windows. It doesn’t give you the option to save it somewhere you want to with the correct name you want to save as. Many times if the file is large it wouldn’t download it (shows as if it’s downloading but it doesn’t) 2. On windows I often copy and paste excel tables. It doesn’t allow you to paste those excel tables as tables but converts them to non tabular text. If I somehow manage to our table in ( by first copying the table on word and then to newton) still then I can’t properly navigate at all. 3. The search feature isn’t great at all. It when it works it works but doesn’t always work..Version: 9.8.139

Best email app!Awesome app, all accounts in one place, easy to use! Must have.Version: 6.4.21

The last stopI have downloaded every email client trying to find one that has the right balance of power and simplicity. I was hesitant to pay the subscription fee until I tried the demo for a couple of weeks. Then was offered a 20% discount and that finally sold me. I use Apple mail from my work and Newton for all my personal mail. This keeps things separate. Over the past six weeks I have come to appreciate how powerful and clean the interface is. If I had to pick one email app to use, this is it!.Version: 9.8.75

ExcellentLove this app, great for colour coding accounts and adding graphic signatures. Highly recommend..Version: 7.3.25

Simplicity in itself; but needs privacy optionReally makes email a pleasure across mobile and desktop. Just one thing really: a feature to make downloading external images optional. Many of these images are either data harvesting / trackers or just a waste of bandwidth. In 2019 most of the other mail apps have this privacy option..Version: 10.0.14

Best app and it’s shutting down.Best app and it’s shutting down. So disappointed. Never had a mail app worked so good. RIP.Version: 9.8.421

A welcome returnNewton has been my fave email client because of its read receipts. I was saddened when the service closed, but ecstatic to have it back. Some small outbox issues need to be ironed out, and when they are, this will get the full 5 stars it deserves.Version: 10.0.14

Closing down again 😞I was very sad to read that Newton Mail is closing down again, and all subscriptions are not being renewed. It was a pleasure to use this flexible, reliable, attractive app. Crossing fingers that it'll be rescued again in the future... 🤞🏻 Meanwhile, Goodbye Newton, and thanks for the great user experience. 👋🏻😢.Version: 10.0.45

Fantastic app does everything I wanted it to!Great App.Version: 7.6.23

ExcellentNewton is a strong app with excellent customer service. I love being able to snooze emails or delay send as well as have emails from various accounts within the same umbrella. It looks good and works well. I love the way it interfaces with other key apps I use like Todoist and Evernote as well. The annual fee might put some off, but the customer care team ensures anything that might arise is responded to quickly and effectively. I haven’t had to use them much, but when you do have a question or issue, it’s nice to have folks in your corner..Version: 9.8.363

A Great (although Bland looking) Email appNewton is the Lazarus of email applications, having been shelved and then resuscitated 3 times now. The new team seem really keen to create a powerful app and you can see the hard work they are putting in to it. The app has many standout features missed by its rivals, want to see when your link was pressed or when your email was opened and where? I don’t know another email app that can do that. Try Newton you won’t be disappointed. Why 4 stars and not 5? Newton has used the same UI for years now, and its, just a little bland, the grey on slightly off grey makes the app look a little dated when compared to apps such as Spark, airmail or even the stock Mail app..Version: 10.0.55

Very intuitiveCloud magic builds on Apple's native iOS mail app, and adds a tonne of features that I found lacking in iOS mail. Cloud Magic still looks at home on an iPhone, and I'll probably use it going forward..Version: 7.7.29

Sad to have started being a user now that the App is going to be killed. After years of trying to find an all-round app that is reliable and easy to organise throughout iOS/MacOS and Windows, it is with deep sadness that such a jewel of a service has to stop being offered to the public. I am sorry the long term business plan does not work out, because the product is really really really fantastic (clean, focused and with all the wizardry necessary). Or what it’s worth I shall be using it until the switch goes off. And then I’ll weep..Version: 9.8.421

My New Standard for Others to Live Up ToNewton got it right. At first, I thought it was just going to be another slide and file/copycat email app. But what I found was an intuitive, email workflow that was clearly more thought out. I needed something that would give me all the features of Gmail’s app, and my Cloze app that even they couldn’t give me in one cross-platform package. Newton does it all in a clean, minimal interface that keeps everything out of your way until you need it and is unlike any of the other apps I’ve used. I ended up subscribing because after the trial I realized that I wasn’t going to be able to live without it. That’s when you know the app is working for you. I look forward to continued development now that they have new owners. In the meantime I’m going to spread the Newton love..Version: 10.0.14

Feature Rich AppAt first I was reluctant to sign up for a subscription based app, but after using Newton for a short while, I was hooked. Many emails I write require follow up, so knowing when an email has been read is very helpful. That feature alone made the app worth it. I also need to store emails I receive in an organized, uncluttered way. Newton's expandable and collapsible folders allow me to do that. One-click unsubscribe, send later and undo send have also become an indispensable part of my workflow. Using the Share Extension I can even turn emails into to-do items in my task manager app. And all this functionality comes wrapped in an esthetically pleasing and easy-to-interface..Version: 9.8.106

Brilliant client - latest version hits 5 starsI was looking for a way to handle my Gmail account on the iPad. On the phone I am very happy with Mailbox, but was not happy with the gmail app on the pad - I wanted something which looked good and allowed easy filing after using Mailbox to get to empty. Tried a few and then found this. What do I like? It looks great, a lovely clean interface, excellent font, easy gestures. What do I love? The message handling for picking multiple mails to file. My to file folder gets big and even on the desktop it is difficult to sort. Here there is a really well designed interface that highlights the messages, a big counter and an easy to select to folder option. Why not five stars? At the moment, due to storage restrictions, Cloudmagic can only give you access to the last month's email. As I often have follow up email older than that or need to look at much older ones this means that the gmail app will have to still be a significant part of my workflow. But when that is fixed (they are working on it) this will be 5 stars Update - the one month refers to the emails a month before you started using the app. So the database is growing and the 'archive' less a problem. 4.5 stars now! And now all old email. 5.Version: 5.0.82

BrilliantSimply the best email client I've found having tried several of the leading competitors. I love to organise emails into folders, and the only feature I think it is missing is for it to predict which folder I'm going to sort an email into based on previous actions. It could then recommend the most likely folder at the top of the list!.Version: 9.8.210

Newton is still the BEST!!So glad this app is back! 👏🏼 Even with not being updated much in the last year, this app is still hands down the best email app on the App Store! Ever since they announced the last shutdown, I’ve been cycling between most of the email apps on the App Store, but none of them handle email with the ease and simplicity of Newton! Newton has just the right balance of features (read receipts, customized actions, great syncing of preferences & read emails) while keeping a fast and minimal interface that allows you to sort through your email with speed. With the new owners stated intentions, I’m super excited to support this app’s development again! Looking forward to the upcoming updates! 😃.Version: 10.0.47

Best email App - Please don’t discontinue!I just received a notice that CloudMagic is going to discontinue Newton Mail App. Please don’t! Both my wife and I LOVE this app and from experience know that it is the best one out there! Just one log in and all my settings, accounts, and preferences are all synced and ready to go. I have advanced features not present in any other app. It’s the best email app period. We are subscribers and want to continue to pay so we can have this great service. I hope beyond hope that something will change and we will get to continue having this amazing product..Version: 9.8.421

Instant SupportLove this email app which is the definitely the best I’ve used over many years. So imagine how annoying it was when, for no apparent reason, my emails stuck in my Outbox and refused to budge and I received an error message to fix and authenticate my account every time I opened Newton. Having tried all the fixes offered on the Internet to no avail, I finally managed to send a Support Log to Tech Support at Newton via a different app, late on Sunday in the hope that I might be up and running by the end of Monday - with a lot of luck. It is usual to have to wait more than 24 hours for a response from most app developers. Imagine my surprise when, not 10 minutes later, Rahul responded with detailed instructions and Voilá! The issue was fixed within 5. As with everything tech, you get what you pay for. Thus the modest subscription to Newton proved its weight in gold. Great service..Version: 9.8.210

Longtime fanLoved Cloudmagic, and Newton is even better. Makes managing multiple email accounts a breeze. More than happy to pay for quality to make sure I can keep using something, and have recommended to friends and colleagues!.Version: 9.0.33

Beats all other email apps!Years ago I used Cloud Magic and loved it. When Newton appeared with a subscription, I tried different non subscription email apps. After settling on Airmail, I thought I had found my ideal email app. When I began to experience issues with Airmail, I began looking for an alternative. I decided to give Newton a go and I’ve not been disappointed. Looks great, simple to set up and use, and integrates seamlessly with Todoist & Evernote. The yearly subscription isn’t a lot when you consider what a great product you’re getting!.Version: 9.8.333

Thanks for the quick helpAs a new user to Newton I had a problem attaching my company pictorial signature - Thank you Utkarsh for your quick response, and enabling me to get back to work, using Newton this Monday morning. I have several work e-mail accounts, and Newton seems the answer to using all easily and collectively..Version: 9.8.363

So happy it’s back! Worth the price. The only app I would pay for. You really really made my day when I figured out you were back! Thank you!.Version: 10.0.14

Newton is worth every penny and more!UPDATE: Newton is back. Since my last review, Newton Mail got even better with supercharged features such as Tidy Inbox, Connected Apps, Read Receipts, Recap, Snooze. Latest version implements GIPHY support. All this while still providing a fast and powerful but clean simple GUI. And it still costs only 14 cents a day. — I recently learned about Newton as another excellent email app. I read some negative reviews from the early adopters, but I read many more positive reviews as well. What it boils down to is this. Newton is a cutting edge email app that does things better than every other app. I don't have a problem with their pricing model, and you shouldn't either. Many of us own expensive iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watches to use this app on, making our lives easier in managing the ever increasing email traffic. Folks, it only costs 14 cents a day! I say the benefits of this app is worth that price and much more..Version: 10.0.14

GoooooodThis app is better than Microsoft outlook. I searched outlook in App Store but found this one and tried it and found out it is really useful and convenient. 5 stars!!.Version: 6.0.64

The best mail app out. Hands downLove it! I have multiple accounts and cloudmagic have easily the best mail app out. HTML signatures? Done. Accounts setup synced across devices? Done. Awesome flat interface? Done. Easy to search ? Done. Easy to filter unread emails? Done. Easy to access folders in your inbox? Done. Compatible with every mail standard? Done. Show me another app that does all that. So awesome!.Version: 7.3.25

Better than mailboxJust migrated from mailbox. Simple touches like the same swipe gesture to delete as apples mail app and the ability to add lots of different type of account as well as a powerful search make this one of the best mail apps for ios. Would like it to support more than 5 accounts, even if this means paying a small annual fee..Version: 5.0.87

Great app!!A good one to swap to after the death of mailbox. Hoping for a 'remind me later' feature.Version: 7.7.29

Great AppI recently switched back to Newton Mail after the company discontinued their service previously. I was reluctant to comeback cause I didn’t know if they would stick around. I’m glad I chose to come back cause I haven’t found any email client for either iPhone or Mac with a clean interface as nice as Newton. I see many negative reviews, but I can’t understand why. I’m a power user and never have any major issues that would interrupt my workflow. I decided to leave the review in hopes that users will give Newton a chance so they stick around much longer. I can honestly say Newton mail is by far the best mail app I’ve used and will continue to support them. Great job and I look forward to new features..Version: 10.0.58

Probably the best mail app I've used on iPhoneCloudMagic is probably the best mail app I've ever used – it's pretty and it has a snappy interface. It seems to take a little while to open on my old iPhone 4 (about 6-10 seconds) but I blame that on my old phone. It can sometimes be slower with push notifications than my computer but that's what always happens. It's still probably the best mail app I've used..Version: 1.0.17

Mostly works but development has been stagnated.Used to really enjoy using Newton. Was quite excited when it came back. But it appears that development and maintenance has been minimum since then. Issues and bugs have been gradually accumulating. Syncing problems, read receipt not working, minor UI bugs that never got fixed, etc. Happy to support you guys but perhaps cutting development and support cost alone isn’t enough to keep things afloat in the long run. There is a market for premium email apps that “just works” with some power user feature. Maybe consider a similar business model like Superhuman? Whatever it is, I just hope that Newton isn’t on its way to a slow death. Good work so far(still) and looking forward..Version: 10.0.32

Good but not perfectMy main drawback is that this app does not offer a unified mailbox of all email addresses. Other than that it is pretty good all round.Version: 5.0.100

My favourite productivity app period.I absolutely love Newton! It has every feature I look for in an email app. Including immediate push of my non apple emails. It’s totally worth the price as I understand development costs money and I appreciate that they don’t data mine and pretend it’s a free app..Version: 10.0.14

FantasticoSuch a well thought out and simple app. A perfect blend of old and new mail client!.Version: 6.0.64

Newton’s LawShould state everyone should own this app. Yes it’s an email client for a fee in a minefield of free and decent apps but it does so much more. Genuinely I screamed with delight when I saw the good news. Best email app you get get by a million miles..Version: 10.0.14

Nor working on iphone 12 proI like this app, used it few weeks and was perfect, but I change my phone to iphone 12 pro and isn't possible ad office 365 account. So I have nice, but not working app 😕.Version: 10.0.53

Rock solid and fast, with some very nice featuresAwesome onboarding, very fast to get going and some very nice features, know as super chargers. It just works out of the box. Obviously not as feature heavy as mature products like outlook but... so nice to work with across devices. I'm a google inbox user and the only thing I'm really missing is bundles. Fingers crossed Newton builds this in as it's a productivity game changer. Nice work, Newton. P.s. Pricing - I got it on a deal post trial expiration. The original asking price was too steep for me to justify given that I'm using Inbox. That's just a comparison with where I was at. The original asking price would have been nothing if it were getting me away from outlook and a hundred different plugins!.Version: 9.4.52

Still The Best (And worth every penny)You guys pretty much have the perfect email app. And I’ve tried them all. If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would to have the option of have a small circular avatar next to each message in the inbox. Gmail and InBox by Gmail (and Yahoo to a lesser degree) do a nice job of this and it really helps with organization as you can your spot check your messages visually by sender. Like I said…the option would be nice. And if people want to maintain a cleaner more streamlined look WITHOUT the avatar, they could. Regardless…this app is worth every penny. $50 well spent..Version: 9.8.210

Pretty goodI’m still trying the free version and deciding if I will sign up. I like the fact I can turn off conversation view (which most other apps won’t let you do). I’d like a function to be able to pin important messages to the top of the screen like you can do with Spark. Otherwise works well. Integrates with Evernote and Todoist..Version: 9.8.415

Killer!Love the integration this app offers with a number of other services I use. Would definitely recommend!.Version: 7.0.46

Even better on iPhone XI’m pleased to say that Newton is the best email experience on iPhone, iPad and Mac. This is more than just a client; going above and beyond to provide read receipts, a clean and concise inbox, off-phone sync and seamless integration. The UI update for iPhone X makes this app perfect on the X display..Version: 9.8.91

Tried them all ......What makes this the best is that it is simple yet powerful. I was using Airmail , which is a good app, but I felt overwhelmed by the all it’s options / features. I was also limited to Mac/IOS. Newton worked flawlessly for me over all of my platforms. Due to nature of my business, I have to utilize windows to remain mainstream at office, but i have all Apple products for home and mobile. Newton allows you to concentrate on what you want to do ( be productive ). You feel dialed in right away.... Is it worth 50$ a year to feel this way? Feeling in control is priceless! Then add the fact they respond quickly ( in minutes sometimes ) is a huge bonus.....Version: 9.8.139

Lightning-fast search and a great interfaceI’m very impressed with this app. The killer feature is lightning-fast search. I can search my emails on my iPhone faster than on my Mac (using Sparrow or Outlook). But as well as the great searching, the interface is very clean and easy to use, and push notifications work very well (faster than the default Mail app, for both gmail and office365 accounts). This is now my default mail app..Version: 1.0.16

Apple Watch appWhich there was a Apple Watch app so I can get emails on the go on my Apple Watch.Version: 10.0.47

PerfectThank you for implementing the classic e-mail view. I really love it! Gr..Version: 8.6.51

MoonerGmail just stop working so I downloaded yours and it works fine don’t understand what the other people are complaining about.Version: 10.0.32

Newton is the answerI have been using Newton for almost a year now. It is THE solution to cross device email. No more using one email client for desktop or laptop and something completely different for iOS. Newton integrates perfectly. There are single features within Newton which are seperate subscription services for other clients - I’m looking at you sanebox and boomerang. And Newton support is lightning fast and awesome....Version: 9.8.139

Great AppEasy and convenient to use to check your email and sort out your important email from the rest.Version: 7.4.15

Take advantage of forwarding to other appsMany apps have the ability to create a reminder from emails or use the native or sometime more advanced star/list method to track activities. However this app allows you to crest trello cards, OneNote entries, Evernote records, or ToDoIst reminders allowing you more options for managing getting things done. The mail side does not suffer either, simple UI allows you to view all the common free and premium services and the a satisfactory quick menu to delete/move etc..Version: 6.0.64

Tiny and incredibly infrequent updates..Dark Mode??I love Newton..love it. Nothing else works as well for me as an email platform...but since it returned (which I was ecstatic about!!) updates have been virtually non-existent and pretty much consigned to bug fixes..which makes me think the app is in maintainence only mode :( An update was just released post IOS13 and still no Dark mode!!?? On my Mac and IOS devices Newton stands out like a sore thumb...worried...Version: 10.0.32

Excellent supportThis is a great email app for iPhone. It is a bit pricey but it’s features are well worth the outlay. An outstanding attribute of the company is the support. Any questions I have had about problems or working practice have been answered quickly and politely. Usually I’m back on track immediately..Version: 9.8.363

Excellent App - Excellent Tech SupportI’ve used Newton for about 6 months and it just gets better and better. There are so many features that make this the most responsive, useful and coolest email app I’ve used. (And I have used most of them). The tech support is super quick. Utkarsh helped me in support sort out a problem in a matter of moments. The search facility is excellent and I especially like the snooze menu so as I can use a one touch system to hide an email until a selected time. I never miss emails anymore and my days are more efficient now that my emails are easy to handle..Version: 9.8.195

Best mail client I have used on my iPadGreat stuff! - actually works the way it should..Version: 1.0.18

All In OneA great inbox app for managing all my different email accounts. Newton works great with both Zendesk & Asana, which I love, I just wish the mobile version would allow landscape!.Version: 9.8.55

Beautiful appI have tried a few different email apps, but Newton is a class apart. Stunning design and amazing functionality. It feels like iA writer for email which is the perfect combination. Love the notifications when an email is read. Thank you..Version: 10.0.53

Stopped working with iOS 17The app worked well until I upgraded. I see it hasn’t been updated since March..Version: 10.0.63

Works wellWorks with all my email inboxes. Great app.Version: 5.0.100

It’s back!!Newton is by far and away the best mail app for any high volume user. Never leave us again I was lost without you. Nothing compared..Version: 10.0.11

The Ideal Email AppOne could say that I’m obsessed with finding the ideal email app. I’ve briefly tried Newton 2 years ago; but it was probably too early then. I’ve recently came back to it and I absolutely love it. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is for the lack of Dark Mode. I was really happy to hear that the app will live on..Version: 10.0.46

Very PleasedI was very tired and frustrated with Apple Mail so tried out Newton. It works seamlessly across all my devices and easily integrated all my emails. I recommen..Version: 10.0.14

It works!!!4/9/17 took a punt & tried it again. Was over the moon to find not only could it connect to my activesync server exchange account, but that the share extension works a treat. My emails can now be tasks and shared to notability, Dropbox etc. great work newton mail. 5 stars.Version: 9.8.55

So close to 5 StarThere are a lot of really awesome features. My favorites: 1. Send emails later button 2. Remind me if email has not been replied to 3. Snooze button 4. Read receipts and read receipt notifications Things that prevent this-or any other email app I've ever used: 1. No option to add notes to a contact and/or a thread. I deal with hundreds of new contacts every day. Some are returning contacts. It would be SO helpful to be able to jot down some quick notes on the contact. 2. No option to customize notifications. I don't want my phone beeping with EVERY single email. If I could add a contact to a "notification list" that notifies me when only they email, that would be incredible. One other thing mentioning, some of my emails are being sent to the "DOPED" Folder. Can anyone explain to me what that is? Thank you! Overall, great app. A little pricey, but I wouldn't mind paying if the two above issues were addressed. 4 stars..Version: 9.8.363

Awesome AppGreat app for your every mail account.Version: 7.11.38

Great and fastI like this app because is the fastest email app I have used so far. I like the email schedule and the reply notification features a lot. For my business Newton works so far and I recommend, specially if you have a high traffic mail box like mine, it makes easier to keep my mail box clean. The only side note is; the Mac app version is OK, it has the same features and all but the visual at least for me has a lot to improve I think and sometimes the Mac app freezes on you..Version: 10.0.58

Great app and excellent customer supportThis app deserves 5 stars and the yearly subscription fees. It is clean and fast and on top of that, it has an excellent customer support. The team behind this app are improving the performance of the app constantly and I believe they deserve all the support from our side. If you want an excellent business mail app then do yourself a favor and download this. It is one of the top mail apps and the only one so far where it allowed me to have my signature as is. This, in addition to some other neat features that are difficult to find in other apps..Version: 9.8.139

Outstanding simplicityI believe I fall in the category “have tried them all”, or at least I can say I tried all of the recommend and high rated email apps. For me personally, Newton stands out for its overall simplicity, while offering all the functionality I want from an email app. The UI doesn’t get in your way, the app feels fast, performs well and offers the right amount of customization. Having versions of the same app on iOS, macOS and watchOS was one of the key selling features for me. No matter on what device I am, the experience translates well. Paying $ for a great app like Newton is a no-brainer: I use it every day and I much rather have the app improved over time than a free app that dies a slow death and I have to shop around for a replacement again..Version: 9.8.210

Great Mail App, Next best thing to InboxI, like many, mourned the passing of Google Inbox and found Newton in my grief. That was a year ago. I’ve used it for over a year now, and I’ve enjoyed it. I still miss Google Inbox from time to time but this is a very good replacement. The bundling is similar, not perfect, but does the job well. The fact that I can use a single login to sign in to a device with all of my accounts is incredibly convenient. The signatures and settings are seamlessly synced across all my devices. The $50 a year could be considered a bit much. And I could understand how a casual email user might think this is unreasonable. Spark or Airmail are similar but not the same and I don’t know how much I trust my data in their hands. I’m confident Newton does not do the same. It makes my life easier and for that I’d gladly pay $4 a month. I consider myself a power user and Newton is my favorite not-so-secret weapon. The app has changed hands twice and the most recent owners seem to be actual users of the app so I’m looking forward to the updates they have in store!.Version: 10.0.47

1 Star out of 10When I open the starred messages in all inboxes, I only get 1 out of 10 currently starred ones: the one I sent. Everything I starred in my inbox is also archived, which might be the reason it’s not appearing here. With “inbox zero” approach starring the messages AND keeping them in the inbox doesn’t make sense, so I believe that’s a bug that needs fixing. I left the exact same review on Mac App app since the bevahiour is the same..Version: 10.0.14

Beautifully Clean & Great Customer ServiceCloudMagic is a pleasure to use. I have all my separate iMap email accounts from my websites in here, all colour-coded. It's very clean, uncluttered, and with beautiful colour options for various email accounts. It's breathable! And keeps improving with more features. I've also found consistently great and prompt customer service. Everything is easy! Highly recommended!.Version: 8.6.51

My personal assistantBest email app I've tried. Worth every penny! Very clean and user friendly. Allows me to handle more than 5 email accounts quickly and connected apps saves so much time. Read an email, reply (now or later), save, schedule task, tick, tick, tick and everything is done. Thank you Newton Mail..Version: 9.5.34

Great search and timed remindersI use this mainly as you can send an email and say ‘remind me in 3 days if nobody replies’, or snooze this email for 3days etc. Offline usage is a bit limited, and it doesn’t yet support ios11 drag and drop, which would be really useful, when that happens it’ll be 5star!.Version: 9.8.55

Lots missing - StillNo support for ios13 still. No dark model or split or anything. The app does not work fully with the iPad Pro keyboard. Using the arrow keys to move the curser does nothing. Real shame..Version: 10.0.32

Excellent AppThis is the first app I have ever been so impressed with that I'm taking time to write a review. It works flawlessly with all my mail accounts. It syncs sent, received and deleted emails perfectly with my other devices and is also very handy that It has Onedrive and Google drive compatibility . Get it and you won't be disappointed..Version: 6.4.21

No 1 email appThis app has replaced mail for me on the iPhone and the iPad. I am not so sure of the Mac version. It's clean and simple to use and easy to clear the inbox. Very quick and has a good search function. It's superior to Outlook also because of the rapid search. WARNING ITS VERY BATTERY HUNGARY. This means it's not. Five star app and could restrict adoption.Version: 7.5.3

10/10 love the app!I absolutely can not stand the Apple mail app, and this app is perfect and amazing. Love it so much. So basic and simple yet does everything I need and more. Very reliable and doesn't muck up like the apple one does. I never rate apps but thought this one is well deserving of it ❤️.Version: 7.12.61

I love this app. It’s the nicest looking of all email clients, has great features like snooze and send later, integrates with a bunch of apps, and I’m just plain more productive with it. Email is too important for me and my job and home life to not use the best one. I’d pay twice this much..Version: 10.0.14

Excellent AppGood app, really like it as apposed to the native iOS mail app, only thing that bugs me is the app badge icon doesn't show the amount of unread emails, It doesn't even show up until you open the app, Hopefully this issue gets fixed, then I can give it 5 stars!.Version: 6.0.21

Best mail app available BUTThe privacy policy is invasive. Be careful who you trust with you emails..Version: 10.0.14

Simple yet powerfulI enjoy the simple user interface and nice functionality that is reliable and intuitive!.Version: 7.4.15

Best Email Service ProviderA simple, convenient and user-friendly service that employs an elegant design which never fails at delivering a stellar performance..Version: 10.0.53

Worth the price!I want an iOS email app that integrates with my productivity tools, Todoist and OneNote. I've not found another app, free or paid, the does it as well as Newton. Newton also handles filing emails effortlessly, just type part of the folder name in the search and your done. Sounds trivial but such a time saver. The speed and reliability with Newton is great no more frustrating lag time I've had with other apps. Like many I deal with 100s of emails a day. Newton makes that easier. With so many of the free email apps I've had to compromise. Newton has everything I was after. Is it pricey? Maybe, but you pay for quality and it's a tax deduction anyway..Version: 9.2.5

It's back! And just as perfect as before. I have tried many email apps, this is the best.Version: 10.0.14

So far so good.Push notifications is a little slower than the Gmail app, but at least I can have all my mail accounts in one place..Version: 6.4.7

Just WOWI really don't know where to start with Newton. There are so many good features with this email client that I can't list them all. Just the "read ✔️marks" and how it shows the location of the recipient. (the location is only correct 50% of the time) Just that is well worth the subscription price. I can be kind of cheap at times when it comes to subscriptions but I have no regrets with purchasing this client. Keep up the great work and I'm anxious to see what the future of Newton brings. Oh and one more thing. I NEVER write reviews either so that says a lot about how impressed I am..Version: 9.8.75

Solid AppBest 3rd party mail app I've seen. Ticks all the boxes for me..Version: 6.0.64

Sorry to hear the newsSo sorry that Newton is to be closed down next month. Best email app by a mile and will be sorry to lose it’s features. I guess that’s capitalism for you!.Version: 9.8.421

The best email app across all devices!Love it! In my opinion it’s the best email client for all your devices! It’s fairly pricey, but the features are absolutely worth it. My subscription is coming to an end so I looked around at other apps for a week. Nothing comes close! The big features (read receipts etc) are worth the money, but even things like the UI make this a pleasure to use (the colour strips on the side of the Unified inbox are genius, makes it so easy to tell which accounts emails relate to)..Version: 9.8.363

Worth every penny!Great app! Worth it! app is amazing! I love how customizable it is, yet not overwhelming. When I stopped using newton mail because I thought they were going out of business, I spent months trying to find the best email application that worked for all my devices. Hands down Newton mail is the best! I use multiple emails, and it keeps it tidy, and neat. I paid the subscription fee in a heart beat. It comes out to a little over $4 a month. That’s nothing compared to what you get. Plus their customer service is phenomenal. I had a question and they got back to me on the weekend! This is a must use!.Version: 10.0.32

Lacks beauty of Mac appNewton for Mac is a beautiful, clean interface. The iPad version? Not so much. It is the phone interface with a reading pane on the right. 99% of iPad users are using it in landscape mode, so why can’t we get the beautiful Mac interface and instead get stuck with the phone interface? Aside from the interface, Newton is pretty good. There are a few changes I would like to see. First, even though you are using the “from name” from Google, you do not support changing that like every other email client. This is my one big gripe, because it means I cannot use certain email accounts in Newton. Second, I wish I knew it was more responsive talking to the server. I sent an email to myself as a test. The Gmail app showed it immediately. It took four minutes before Newton provided a notification. There seems to be constant server issues too, and the lack of regular updates, combined with the company’s history of running out of money/abandoning the product makes me wonder if they will fix these issues..Version: 10.0.62

I don’t know about you all but...Asking for $2/month for a service that is not even well integrated? It must be a joke. When I track an email, I want to be able to refer back to a repository that contains all the read email. Simply relying on a notification to let you know an email was read is not what I thought this was about. How about more stats on the number of times an email was open? Nothing revolutionary, and even offered by other free email providers, none of which I will cite here. I would pay zero dollars for this app, because it backs you into a corner without being fully encompassing. You still have to rely on other providers and that’s not what a paying service should be about..Version: 9.8.139

Was a great app.Was a great email app and the comeback was a pleasant surprise and came with a few improvements but development from there has been slow and very few updates. When updates have happened there have been no notes. The app seems to have fallen behind; is missing dark mode and has some other bugs, though still functional..Version: 10.0.32

Finally…. I’ve found itFirst of all congrats on keeping Newton alive. I have literally tried every email app on the market and Newton wins hands down for me. Love the newsletters & social split inbox function that allows me to focus on work; elegant, clean design; Things integration, read receipts, templates, snooze… I could go on. Just one thing devs… need to do something about replacing the xdotai integration please. Calendar needed for the Mac desktop version. Happy to pay and keep up the good work!.Version: 10.0.61

Almost there!Loved newton before and glad it’s back!! Would love to have all inboxes kept left though (currently they auto hide) as I enjoy seeing how many emails in each need addressing at a glance. Also I could then drag to file an email in folders which is quicker I think... keep the updates and great features coming guys!!.Version: 10.0.14

Clean simpleEnjoying using this app on my phone and iPad. Easy, clean and simple..Version: 6.4.21

The bestWas the best and now even better with new developers, read receipts that work, a beautiful display and writing platform. Innovative app my favourite on the iMac, MacBook Pro and iPad Pro and iPhone X !.Version: 10.0.47

Newton is back...........Brilliant app i was really fed up when it announced it was going....I have tried many others but not been happy but then I found Newton again.... I love it one very happy person again now. I would totally recommend this app to anyone personal or business and I look forward to any updates in the future. Thank you Newton email is a pleasure again.....Version: 10.0.14

The best email app for IOS / MacOS and I’ve tried a few...Glad to see Newton is back. Was a customer last year before they shut down in Sep 2018. Tried several others since then: Spark, Airmail, Polymail. None was offering the smooth UI on both IOS and MacOS, reliability needed for business email, and all features of Newton: killer feature is definitely read receipts for each recipient separately and each time email is opened, and working also on a forwarded or replied message, but also: decent Newsletter and spam detection that also works when your Mac is not on to not flood your inbox and overwhelm with notifications, Snooze, Send Later etc. The only thing for which I still use Mac Mail is searching through emails. That is still not as good on Newton..Version: 10.0.47

Excellent email app with responsive supportWith very.Version: 10.0.32

Organise your email life!I swear by this app. I know it costs money but it's the best money I've ever spent. It has an OSX, iPhone & iPad app. Favourite functions include send later, follow up if recipient doesn't reply and snooze..Version: 9.2.5

Best email app ever? After 1 week of use I can't see any reason to back to my previous apps - I really like the quick light feel, having my three emails address in the same inbox screen and the clean professional look and rendering. I would give five stars if I was able to move emails to folders that are nested three or four deep in my structure - maybe I've not worked out how to do that yet..Version: 5.3.28

Best news everLife changed. Newton, without you I’ve been lost, wandering in the dark. Thank you to those who believe. Best email app. Ever. Period..Version: 10.0.11

Excellent. Speedy simplicity.I love this application and it’s well worth the $2 a month for the read receipt function alone. Love how messages are truncated, presented, swipe options. Love the speed. Love how clean it looks without ads. Love search function. Emails refresh quickly without draining my iPhone 6s battery. Love the support and company Modus Operandi! My Humble User Feedback Suggestions: 1 - Attachments. Right now you can only attach pictures and iCloud Drive docs when drafting an email within the app. Would be great to attach items from other apps (iBooks, Pinterest, etc) 2 - VIPs. Anyway to have a VIP function, similar to Mail? When I get an email from my boss, client, etc it’s in a special section, despite account. I link 4 email accounts on Nmail. 3 - Organizing. Haven’t figured out the simplest way to select a ton of different emails, and set up an auto filter for where they will go on receipt. I have to go to Gmail, iCloud or Exchange to set up rules which are then reflected in Nmail. Maybe there is a feature but it isn’t yet apparent. All in all, great work and loving it so far. Thanks to an apparent team of hard workers there!.Version: 9.8.106

Wow! This is the BEST email clientOne caution. This is only for serious business people who really value productivity! I’ve tried a lot of email applications. If you are looking for every possible feature and tweak, this is not the app for you. There are not hundreds of bells and whistles. However, the bells this app has are AMAZING. The “remind if not replied” is worth the subscription cost alone. I was paying 3x as much to a different plugin for the same functionality. I wasn’t in love with Newton when I first tried it out. It took a few days before I realized something was different when I checked my email. My whole attitude about email had changed. I’m not sure exactly what it is but I seem to be WAY more productive with email not. It’s not just that the app is beautiful, it’s also that it’s very functional and clean. Now I love to do email. I have many email accounts and Newton handled them all with ease. In addition, I only had to set them up once and they are on all my devices..Version: 9.8.75

I tried most app in the market, only Newton perfectly work with yahoo business account. RecommendedGreat.Version: 10.0.58

Long time userBeen with the app for a long time. Back when it was cloud magic. Pretty freakin seamless. I have a multitude of personal and business accounts across platforms and it’s all integrated very smoothly. It’s allowed me to keep consistency and order in an otherwise complicated situation. I also use Evernote and Wunderlist to keep track of almost everything. The ease at which I can archive, share, or add to a list quickly directly from inside the app has really streamlined my relationship with email. Quick delete or spam buttons from the notification has really allowed me to live inbox zero. I never write reviews but these guys deserve it. I give it five stars..Version: 9.8.83

Cloud MagicWonderful app. See all your email addresses in one place with a very simple and intuitive interface. Looks great too..Version: 7.0.46

Terrible Privacy PolicyAn app that charges $50/year should not be using my data to target me with ads. “We may work with third-party social platforms, such as Facebook, to serve ads to you as part of a customized campaign” It’s a shame because I used to love this product and would pay again in a heartbeat, if they stuck to their original policy: "All the information we collect from you is only used to give you the best possible experience using Newton. We don’t run ads inside the product or sell data to make money. We’ve built a good product and charge our users a subscription to run the business.".Version: 10.0.14

Great for businessIf you have several devices and want to keep them in sync and quickly, this is the best out there by far. Tried the free app for a while, was very irritated about the lack of info changing to Newton from previous version, but eventually paid for the full version. The paid for features are probably not worth the added cost, but they are useful, and I would pay that for the speed, ease, and in sync capabilities of the main app. If I could create folders from the app rather than the email account, that would be brilliant!.Version: 9.2.5

So far so goodSimple & clear interface easy to use.....Version: 6.4.21

Next generation emailHaving more than 20 software subscriptions (free and mostly paid), I'm happy to see an app that links software and has thoughtfully made my life easier. No more copying a link then pasting across to browser then saving to Evernote. No more opening extra browser windows or apps to add tasks. This has saved me time and is lovely to use. Thanks!!.Version: 5.1.27

Improving....From a shaky start the new owners are beginning to get a grip. Each update is adding stability and new features. I can't say that it's perfect yet but I can see that it might be soon 🤞🏻.Version: 10.0.54

The bestThe best mail app to date, in my opinion. Very nice clean UI. And very fast with push notifications. Not sure why the market the search function so highly, it's great ... But they should be marketing how great the email feature is. Would love to see Dropbox integration, and get rid of the ugly icon button..Version: 1.0.16

The best the best email app everThe best email app ever. Please don’t shut it down..Version: 9.8.421

Excellent email app for Office 365I have an Office 365 account for university emails. Microsoft's own OWA app is just awful and simply unusable. This app supports Office 365 natively and works extremely well. My only gripe is lack of multiple email selection to move or delete but I hope it's added in the future. Everything looks a bit big on iPhone 6 Plus for now but when full support is added for that phone, I am seriously considering ditching default email app for this. One minor issue I got was constant reloading of a second Gmail account to display all emails. Instead of showing all emails at once like it does for 365 account, it would only show one recent email and load the rest from scratch every time. Maybe I'm missing a setting but it would be nice to have offline access to emails. Aside from these few minor things, this app really is a pleasant surprise and I look forward to updated version in the future..Version: 5.2.12

ImpressiveSimplicity at its best! The distraction free environment makes you write and read emails much easier. On top of many qualities, cloudMagic is really, really fast!.Version: 7.7.29

Amazing serviceAbsolute first class email but even better than that is the support and service. The guys are mega helpful and smash any problems or queries I’ve ever had. The email is quality and some of the functions are brilliant..Version: 9.8.139

The best for meI have several webmail addresses and tried several apps in my iPhone 4. Cloudmagic is the best by miles!! Fast responsive and does everything I want it to and more..Version: 6.3.16

Solid appApp does what I want across my 7 mailboxes, I can't ask for much more :).Version: 7.5.3

Overall Excellent with room for ImprovementAwesome minimalist cross-platform email client with great features. Would like to see more special features added though and hope the dev team keeps innovating..Version: 9.8.353

Great appOne of the few mail apps with secure pin entry. Works very well..Version: 6.0.64

Finally. The email app dreams are made of..Version: 10.0.14

App not working in many areasAll of my emails from my husband go to my bulk mail folder. Yes, he is in my contacts. No, this doesn't happen in my main email account. YES, I have reported this to Newton NUMEROUS times over the last year. I either get NO RESPONSE or just hmmm, we don't know why that is happening but never a fix. My app spins a lot telling me it is taking linger than expected. Really? I could go on and on. Nit sure I will renew when the time comes. There are aspects I like but missing important emails from my husband has and is causing problems other forums wont have..Version: 10.0.53

Five Stars all day!I might have written one or two reviews - blah blah blah, but Newton is such an awesome email app, I couldn’t resist. I knew I was going to buy it based on the reviews, but still had to test it. With that, it was even better than I expected. From the simpleness of setting up various home and work accounts, to the easy to navigate and swipe features, and most of all. having all of my folders all integrated within Newton for seamless organization. The read receipts and send later are obviously great too. So glad I stumbled across Newton. Thank you!.Version: 9.8.195

Core FeaturesThe core features are great, which is why I made the switch. The area to improve is with search, speed and integration to other iOS functions..Version: 10.0.14

AwesomeSo happy that I can now have productive e-mail on iPad, especially with ability to attach files. Great job..Version: 6.4.21

Great update in JulyReally love the most recent update and the minimalistic approach. Very clean and organized. The superchargers are also quite helpful. I'd give it 5 stars but I need the calendar add on to manage iCloud and local calendars first. Newton is my go to email app..Version: 9.8.407

Waiting for refund informationI’ll miss Newton when it closes tomorrow but I’m still waiting for refund information 😕.Version: 9.8.421

Great and easy to useIf you use Evernote or To Do applications (I use todoist) then this is the perfect accompanyment. I wish it could be the default mail application when I send an email to a contact instead of the Apple one..Version: 6.4.2

Sleek and smartI’ve been using newton for a few years now (brief hiatus - stressful times) and I can honestly say I don’t know how I could go without it. The increase in productivity Newton has provided makes it worth every cent. To be completely honest, I’d still renew even it was double that cost. So thank you team Newton, you’ve developed a truly excellent product..Version: 10.0.53

Great Mail AppLove this app. Offers great consolidation of all my mail accounts into one attractive package and works brilliantly. As it also works across different devices and platforms, your mail is always sync'ed wherever you are checking it from..Version: 5.0.100

Fantastic App.This really has saved an awesome amount of time. Now all three of my email addresses are in the one place, can't believe it wasn't thought of sooner..Version: 6.4.2

Best iOS email app...Was the best, still the best. Love what you do and can’t wait to see Newton evolve!.Version: 10.0.53

Like this email platform.I like this email platform from it simple and very easy to use loves the fact that we could have the read notification tracking thanks good job on the well run email platform.Version: 10.0.14

Fantastic!Best option beside Acompli (Outlook), and significantly better-looking. These two are the only real options for full cloud file integration (Dropbox, GDrive, etc.). Although I miss the Focused inbox of Outlook, I prefer the clean UI of Cloudmagic, and the much more reliable and obvious attachments interface. Outlook seems to randomly place a text-link often mid-sentence; Cloudmagic shows attachments properly and colour-coded by file type. Overall, the best email app I have found. Only criticism: there's no Mac/PC app!.Version: 6.4.27

Simply superb. Use it!This mail client app has already proven itself to be irreplaceable. It not only let's you do everything you'd want to do (across ALL your various email accounts, irrespective of the platform!) but also does it with style and a touch of class. Highly intuitive, it really does add a little magic to the modern torture ritual that email has become..Version: 6.4.2

Perfect! Just add 3D Touch! It's simply the best email client out there. With the introduction of the Peek feature (it is coming, isn't it?) it will be the only sensible choice for email on phones and tablets..Version: 7.6.23

The Best Email App AvailableI feel like I’ve tried them all - certainly most of the most popular ones. Newton is a clear winner for its simplicity, power, reliability, cross-platform and integration capabilities..Version: 10.0.14
