✓ Why no landscape mode in 2022?!?I can’t even begin to give an accurate rating to this app because, while I’m sure it’s useful, I can’t begin to use it. “Why,” you might ask, “can’t you begin to use this app?” Because, dear reader, it’s 2022. I use my iPad almost exclusively in landscape mode, but this app stubbornly refuses to go to landscape mode. Since I refuse to be forced to take my iPad off the magic keyboard case to use an app and I am opposed on principle to letting my head sag to the left by 90 degrees like an idiot, I must refuse to use this app. Hopefully they fix this egregious oversight soon. I got disconnected and could not get back to the original site I signed up on and gave all my info to. I got the app on my phone and pulled Zacks site up, and everything I have tried to read is wanting more money. If this service is as poor as it’s started out being I will be canceling it before my 30 days are up. Also two of my stock tickers I listed on my portfolio was rejected, why pay for a service to manage only part of my portfolio! ✓ Won’t work!!!I have had the Zacks mobile app for a little over a year. I like the simplicity of the app, easy to use. Great articles to keep the investor up to date on stocks. However, my main complaint is I can never get my app to load. I can read all of the news articles and such but if I click to get inside of the premium payed sections, it just loads and loads and never opens. ✓ Basically UselessI’m a huge fan of Zacks, I use their website all the time and it’s a great one-stop shop for investment data. This app has almost none of the things that makes the Zacks website useful. You can’t read the analyst research reports (arguably the best thing about Zacks) on the app, you can’t pull up the company’s financials, it doesn’t even show some of the most basic information about a company such as the market cap or next earnings date. There is only one chart for each company, which only shows a zoomed-out 5-year view of the price, is tiny, and isn’t useful to see recent price trends. One of the only things you can do on the app is read news (that’s why it’s worth one single star) or look at the Zacks #1 rank list, but again, without being able to see basic information like the market cap or the analyst research reports for the companies in the list, it basically just ends up being a random list of tickers and scores, which don’t mean much to an investor on their own. There’s a lot more work to be done on the app before it’s useful. Many of the links on the app simply open up Zacks on the web, as if the app itself is admitting that it’s useless and you might as well be using the proper website..Version: 4.0.18
✓ Not very smoothThe app is not very smooth. When you were looking over Zack‘s number one ranked stocks it makes you go back to the dashboard each time you want to look at another stock. There is no way to just click back and be back on the full list of Zacks number one ranked stocks. If you’re looking at the individual investor services, after you look one over you have to go back to the original page instead of being able to select the next service that you want to look at. you shouldn’t have to go back-and-forth. you should be able to continue to go forward..Version: 4.0.15

Some of the basic functions are not even available, for example the back button, if you click on something you won't be able to go back to last page you were on. No auto populate stock ticker symbol when you type out the name, you HAVE to know the ticker symbol or it won't populate at all. Also, not a lot of info provided for the company, basically just the ranking. This is way below seeking alpha app, however, this review is just base on the app functionality, not the way this company pick their stocks. ✓ One place see allWhen the app is iddle, there is numbers showing on my phone.1, 2,3,4 and so one. I think these are the new post or alert. We need to be able to access these alerts in one tab. ✓ ZacksVery difficult to know how to get from one page to another. If I’m on an Estimates page how do I get to an analysis page or a graph page or a fundamentals page? Maybe there is a Navigation help page but I haven’t found it yet. There is a Charts button at the bottom of one of the pages I often land on. But it doesn’t work. The wheel spins and a title comes up “Charts from Zacks” but the wheel just spins and no charts appear. There needs to be a home page and clear menus that let you get to the kind of data I want. There’s also an infuriating aspect to the data pages that interferes with scrolling. I push the page up or down and it returns to where I started like it’s on a rubber band. It releases after five or six seconds. I think it has to do with advertising but sometimes it occurs on a page with no advertising. Anyway I think that when you pay for a service, advertising should not obscure your view of the Zacks data or prevent you from navigating a page. When I search for a ticker sometimes spellcheck changes it before searching. Some shocking or amusing results occur. All in all this iPhone app is very disappointing..Version: 4.0.17

✓ App not worthy of company.I am a Zack’s client and subscribe to most of its services. They are usually accurate, informative and well written. Zack’s is a Five Star Company The App? A very different story. In fairness, I live where internet service is not always good, but similar apps, such as Yahoo Finance, simply Wall Street. Tip Ranks and several brokerage apps and charting apps all manage to deliver with the same internet. The problems are, in no particular order, 1, Slow. If you change sections of the program, you spend several minutes watching the clock icon. If you try to get information on a stock, that can take so long as to make the app unusable. 2.Unstable. I subscribe to all their services, but I frequently get a notice that I must subscribe in order to see a section. If I log into Zack’s website, I never have these problems. It is reliable and faster than my internet service. Thus, the problems are with this app. As an additional observation, Zack’s has a screening program that blows everything else I’ve tried completely out of the water. It is a paid service, and has a learning curve, but worth every second and dollar spent. Having access to it with perhaps another, more functional app would be an industry leading attraction. ✓ So much potential, but….Hello, I use this app daily, there are a few suggestions I would like to make that I feel are very necessary to make this app more user friendly and much improved. First and foremost, PLEASE ALLOW FOR A WAY TO MOVE MULTIPLE STOCKS IN A PERSONAL PORTFOLIO TO ANOTHER PORTFOLIO AT ONCE. Currently there is no way at all to do this without adding then removing then adding each individual stock to the designated portfolio I’ve created. This makes a process that should take SECONDS to reorganize and balance my portfolio based on their scores, to near 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR LONG. I beg of you to please update the app to select multiple stocks and move them at once. This is a basic feature that any app, especially one for which I’m paying the yearly membership for should be standard! Secondly, there is no back button, the app is incredibly glitchy, and the app really needs to be refined to flow more seamlessly between pages. This app has so much potential! ✓ No Charts / Poor Research OptionsWhy don’t the Chart options work? The information provided by Zacks is often wrong and will cost you money 💰. Most all of the buy recommendations occur after the stock has has a tremendous run and Zack’s is hoping the stock still has some momentum left in the tank. Who can’t pick stocks that way? I have had great success looking at the SELL ( 5 rating ) stocks for value plays. Zack’s is definitely for the ADHAD crowd. I am a value investor and not a stock gambler, momentum player. I sign-in and in trying to look up fund rankings, etc. i continually am provided solicitations to join or kicked over to ads wanting me to subscribe or join things for which I have neither time nor interest. ✓ Poor App PerformanceI recently downloaded and installed this app on my iPhone which is current with latest IOS. The app layout and functionality looks promising, that’s why the 2 stars. However, a key feature in any of these types of apps are the historical price charts. If you can’t deliver that consistently, the app is pretty much useless. ✓ Misleading please read (from a longtime subscriber)Interestingly the date and time for the Zack’sServices in the Zacks app alert commentary especially for Stocks under $10, Tech Innovators, Value Investor, Home Run, Black Box and most other services is ALWAYS about a full 4-5 minutes BEFORE the app issues a notification. That in itself is not the problem. The big problem is that if you look at the daily graph of the stocks being bought, they start ‘jumping’ up at the time that is shown at the top of the alert commentary in the app. However this commentary CANNOT even be seen in the app until only 4-5 minutes later. Bottom line is that either some priority subscribers or some fraudulent insiders are getting access to the alert 4-5 minutes before the app even gives a notification. Something is not right !! It’s very easy to verify so please do something about it..Version: 4.0.18
