✓ Huge let downDoesn't even begin to do what is expected. Tried this with piano but it can't handle chords, sustain, more than one harmony... worse than that is that even when I tried playing slowly with one note at a time and no sustain, it throws in flats and shops seemingly at random. Piano is tuned properly (I even checked with an electronic tuner) so it's not that. Really disappointing as this has such promise..Version: 2.5.2

✓ Worthless appHorrible app. Couldn't take down the simplest of notes, from an in-tune piano. It literally didn't get a single note right. I even tried hitting 10 middle C's in a row slowly and evenly it recorded a hodgepodge of different notes of different lengths. I was in a perfectly quiet room. It gave me every error message possible (like too short, to loud, too quiet,too much noise in the room). Wish there was a way to at least input your own notes onto the staff. ✓ ❌AWFUL do not buy this! ❌ it’s a con! ❌If you want to have more than 10 songs, you have have to pay a monthly subscription of 5$ (which 60$ a year btw) after you already bought the app! The app will literally stop working until you delete enough songs to get to the minimum. :( I regret giving these con artists any money, and the app doesn’t even work regardless, it gets notes wrong even if I play slowly on my piano..Version: 2.5.5

✓ Don’t get tricked!I was just looking for an app that could record what I play on the piano, so I just looked at the price and thought it must be something or else they wouldn’t put a price on it. DO NOT BE FOOLED. The app can only save 10 scores until it asks for more money, the actual system that listens to you play is rubbish: can’t write chords; rhythm is all over the place; less than half the notes are accurate and it writes double the amount of notes you play and it can only write one-clef. After it leaves you speechless over the inaccuracy of the software, the editing available to the score is extremely limited and very awkward to learn and use. After you have been pained to go through this tedious process you will come back to it after a few days and every score you did is gone... PLEASE DON’T BUY THIS MESS!!!.Version: 2.5.5

✓ Rubbish App - want a refundThe first time I recorded piano playing it not only cut short the song but then every time I press the “Analyse” button to convert it to sheet music it gives up after a time and states “No Network” when quite clearly the WiFi/internet is fully functional. ✓ Potentially great appPotentially this app does exactly what I need - a way to convert audio to notation. However it is not very accurate as yet - pitch sometimes an octave out and note values are impossible to correct manually as far as I can tell. I am glad I only paid 79p for it as I feel it is still at the experimental stage. I do hope the developers keep working on it though as it is much needed. I had hoped to be able to open the app on my iPhone as well after downloading on my iPad but it does not seem to recognise that I have already purchased it. To be truly useful it needs to be available across all devices. I have the free version on my Mac but again with limited success to date..Version: 2.5
✓ TerriblePlayed several different songs on my guitar that were totally dumbed down to try the app. Not one of the songs played back from the iPad the song I had played. ✓ Nice time-wasterCompletely useless for anything productive, but nice to play with for a while. How about letting us choose the key and time signature up front? Then give us a metronome to sing along to? Maybe a flashing light if you're worried about audio interference....Much faster to scribble down onto staff paper for a single line. ✓ No quantization capabilitiesI tried the app by singing a few melodies. Some turned out pretty good, others not at all. It is very inconsistent, which is strange. Unfortunately you can't quantize your performance. The app's editing tools are very confusing. They are of no use to me. I also have the Mac version of the app which is a little better. I would not recommend this app if you just want to use it to not forget your musical ideas. For that you are better off using a recorder app..Version: 2.5
✓ I have no idea if it’s good or badI have just bought the app. You can’t use it without signing up with email or facebook. I don’t want to sign up for anything at all I would like to use it. ✓ Old, unupdated, software. Believe the low reviewsI should have known by the 2012 copyright and the poor reviews that this program, if it EVER worked, certainly would fail on today’s iOS. Program only successfully captured 2 notes out of 4 (roughly 10 second) recordings. On 3 recordings gave an error upon starting analysis and then just sat there. The 4th clip was only 2 notes, which it captured. Roughly every other touch to the screen would crash the app. Maybe if author updated his code, instead of leaving 7 year old app on store to snag the unwary, it might work. ✓ Not entirely impressedI was hoping to get an app where they translated a recording into music. I have an old recording of an improv piece I did on the piano. I was hoping this app would retrieve the lost notes. This app was very glitchy, it couldn't even translate chords, and when I recorded separate notes, it even got those wrong, along with the timing. It also complained a lot about background noises that weren't existent..Version: 2.5.2

✓ Just a Couple of ConcernsThis is largely a good app. It mostly provides what you need and does it well enough (though it would be better if a grand staff were easily accessible), but it doesn’t allow you to change the type of note (example: I’m trying to change a tied half-note to be a whole note). ✓ Depends on what you’re looking for.I am a novice songwriter. I know the notes but find it hard to get the timing right in my notation. Using the tips for recording, I either sing the notes with a doh sound or play them singly on an instrument but try to keep it simple. This has meant that, for the most part, the software can cope and gives me, in the main, what it says on the tin. Editing is a bit of a problem. I would like to be able to change the length of a note that’s been analysed incorrectly but can’t work out how to do this. The worst problem I’ve found so far is that I record something for analysis but the programme goes back to the iPad home screen without saving the recording! So I have to repeat the whole process again, sometimes more than once. As I say, this app does what I want it to to a degree and hasn’t cost a lot but if you want it to analyse something with more difficulty, you may well have problems..Version: 2.5.5

✓ Depends on how you use itThe app has a very clever concept, although only works at certain times. Firstly, it can't really distinguish Left hand and Right hand if you play them together, play one hand, and it will work fine. I got the app and played C, E and then G on my Electric piano and it worked fine. I played my new song which includes many different notes and chords, but the app didn't recognise a single bit of it, and thought I just played random notes. Sorry about this guys, but if your a piano player that plays complex songs, than this app is not the app for you. Most songs these days have 2 hands, but sadly this app obviously just can't handle it. Sorry!.Version: 2.2
